Winter entered the Bullhead and looked into what the Lawyer or the priest had said earlier, unbeknownst to her Glynda had just returned to Beacon and entered her office before turning on her computer and searching for the same thing.
Unfortunately, Glynda was unable to find what she was looking for so she had no choice but to call someone that most likely knew about it, and would be finding out about the situation soon enough.
So she did something she hadn't done in years and called home, she called her mom.
It wasn't as if she hadn't called her mother in years after all she had spoken to her a week ago, except this was the first time she called her because she had gotten herself in a situation that she honestly didn't know how to deal with.
Winter for her part was only able to find an old story but nothing that made this situation any clearer so she did something she honestly didn't want to do, she called her mother.
Both women waited for their scrolls to ring and except neither woman answered, this want out of the ordinary after all both women had things to do and wouldn't be home at the moment.
So both Winter and Glynda had no choice but to wait until their mothers saw that they had called and called them back.
Winter opened her scroll and began to read the story once again.
"Long ago, when the Grimm seemed as if they would destroy everything rose three great huntsmen" Winter read out loud as the image of three huntsmen was shown to her, but the image of the three was nothing more than black cutouts.
Yet as she studied the image Winter felt her eyes widen at the realization, the weapons of the huntsmen.
A sword- a gun and what looked like either a dagger or some sort of throwing weapon.
She immediately looked for the message she had received from the lawyer and found what she was looking for.
Jaune had a sword laying in front of him, Winter didn't know the names of the other two, but it didn't matter, because they had a pair of guns and a pair of dagger-like weapons lying on the table in front of them
Her theory was right, the three men had planned all of this.
Still, she had to be sure so she went back to read the rest of the story.
"No knew where they came from but their story serves as proof that regardless how impossible things may seem they are indeed possible should one be stubborn enough to continue, as long as they have help and luck"
"From one village they went fighting against overwhelming odds"
Winter continued to read as the black cutouts showed the swordsman holding a great shield and surrounded by Grimm.
Another cutout or perhaps they were silhouettes, it didn't matter to her they were cutouts and she was sticking to it.
Regardless the images showed the gunman flying in the air his body wrapped around by dozens or hundreds of Grimm as he fired at them attempting to kill as many as he could before he died.
The next cut out showed the one with the dagger climbing a mountain of Grimm as he staved desperately as he tried to survive.
"Yet they never fell in battle despite constantly facing the impossible"
"Where ever they went be it fra major kingdom to the most remote village that no one had ever heard of, they always asked if someone had seen a Red Bull"
Winter watched the cutouts move away from a cut out of a castle past the cutouts of trees until they arrived at another set of cut-outs that looked like what should have been a village.
Then another cut out appeared one that was in the shape of a bull.
"No one truly knows what happened or if the three ever did find what they were looking for"
"Some say that it was Grimm that was completely red, others that it was an ancient beast that no one ha seen before or since"
"Others that they were searching for a drink no one had heard of before"
The cutouts changed to show the three men charging at the beast.
"Yet what is known is that all three men retired after declaring their journey complete"
"It is said that they each married three women, each from either had their own great accomplishments or came from powerful families or were powerful themselves"
That was it the story ended there, the problem was that underneath the story was the emblem of the council meaning that there was more to the story but Winter herself could see it.
Hell even finding this much was hard enough as it is considering she had to use her family's status just to see this children's story, meaning that the other two women would have problems discovering it unless they used their family's connections as well.
Then a thought slowly entered Winters mind how had the priest and the lawyer known about the hunt.
Winter was about to search for the answer when the bullhead landed and she had no choice but to walk out.
Luckily she didn't have to wait for a taxi as a couple were waiting for customers and so she immediately went home.
"Hey, have you ever heard of something called The Red Bull Hunt?" Winter asked the taxi driver who immediately began to chuckle
Winter looked at the man's rearview mirror and the two of them locked eyes.
"Did you, lady did someone you know get marked by the hunt?" the driver asked her
she answered the taxi driver and Winter immediately felt the taxi pulled to the side of the road
"Get out, I won't charge you bet out"
"I have a family and I don't want any part of this, here it's all the money I have, I don't want any part of this"
the man said to her
"Can you tell me what's wrong?" winter asked the man"
"Listen I don't know what you're talking about just leave me alone if you want the car just take it," the man said to her, and judging by the sound of desperation in his voice Winter knew he wasn't acting.
"Just tell whats happening," Winter said to him, as she showed him her military license
The man looked at it and immediately calmed downs
"You don't know what's going on do you?" he said to her
"Look," he said to her as he opened the glub compartment and took out a small book that had the rules all taxi drivers had to follow, but Winter watched as the man unfolded a hidden section of the book
There were several names listed on it, but what caught Winters's eyes was the bold letters written at the bottom.
[ Run, forget the taxi- leave the money run ] next to those letters was the emblem of the council, meaning that no questions should be asked
"Please get out," the man said to her
"Drive me home" Winter ordered the man as her eyes began to glow white as she activated her semblance
"I need to tell my boss," the man said to her as he reached for the taxi's radio
"Don't just drive then you can call your boss' Winter told the man as the temperature inside the taxi began to drop
The two drove in silence until they reached the Schnee manor, Winter only had enough time to close the taxi door before the man drove away at full speed.
The man drove until he was sure he was far enough from Winter and he called his boss through the radio.
"Pas me to the boss"
"yeah boss, listen you know the Schnee family's oldest daughter, you know the one that was in front of all of the billboards a few months ago"
"She was just in my cab and asked about the Red Bull Hunt, my guess is that she was marked because she asked about it saying that a friend of hers woke up married to some guy"
Both men immediately began to laugh as the alert was sent out, unbeknownst to winter, every bartender - taxi driver and anyone that had any connections to anything dealing with people would know she had asked about the hunt.
