Ivy and Azura were in the Library of Park Manor. One that Boscha would rather forget.
"Do your moms have any good books in this place?" Azura asked.
"What's wrong Princess, don't like reading?" Ivy asked, "Maybe I can find the Good Witch Azura, for you."
"I haven't liked that book since I was a kid." Azura mumbled.
Azura looked through the shelves when she saw something. She pulled it out and blew a little dust off.
"Extinct Demons of the Boiling Isles? Ivy, why does your mom have this?"
"I've never seen this before. Let's go ask her."
They walk out of the library and into the main room, where Boscha was in the playpen with Rose.
"Who's an adorable wittle flower? Is it you? Yes, it is." Boscha said with a baby voice.
Boscha grabbed the baby's hands and clapped them, causing Rose to giggle.
"Hey, Mama, Zura and I had a question." Ivy said.
"What is it sweetie?" Boscha asked.
"What's this book?" Ivy asked.
Boscha saw the book and picked Rose up.
"I'll put Rose down for a nap, then I'll tell you about it."
Boscha went to put her baby in her crib before coming back. Boscha sat on the couch and grabbed the book. She wiped some of the dust off of it and looked at it.
"I haven't touched this book in almost twenty years." Boscha said, "How much do you know about the Demon Incident?"
"Not much, only that it was on Emperor's Day." Ivy said.
Boscha sighed, she would have to talk to the history teacher about teaching the students about important events in the Boiling Isles.
"Okay, well, as you both know, Emperor's Day is celebrated because itis the anniversary that former Emperor Belos was killed and the start of a new system was born. A few days before that, he opened a portal to the Dark Realm and unleashed hordes of demons into the Isles. Nothing like it has ever been seen before."
"Woah, so you fought against demons?" Azura asked.
"Alongside my friends." Boscha lifted her shirt, "I got this scar from a Hell Raptor." (Never posted that chapter, but I might still have it. Maybe I'll post it here sometime.)
She motioned to the massive scar on her side.
"The only reason I survived is because of our esteemed Emperor. She placed a glyph on me before I bled to death." Bosha said, lowering her shirt, "I spent almost a year revising this after it. Maybe I should take a look through it, a little trip down memory lane... a lane I would honestly rather forget. The nightmares I had after that."
Boscha opened the book and started reading it.
'As much as I hated these days, I may not have gotten together with Willow without them.' Boscha thought.
