One year since the event of "What Happened" and the Trio finally learns more about the day that many prefer to forget.
Students waited for the teacher to arrive to start class. All of them were excited... well, except for an Illusion Track student, who had her head down on the table. The blonde Plant Tack student next to her looked at the brunette Dual Track student opposite side of the sleeping girl.
"Is she going to wake up?"
Emily held up a hand, putting down each finger, counting down from five silently. When she reached one, Heather looked up very fast.
"I'm up! I'm... ugh, even Demon Realm school is boring." Heather said.
The teacher came in and started writing on the board.
"Now students, as many of you know, it has been a year since the... invasion. So, today, we have the heroes that fought back against the demons that attacked our home." The teacher said, "Please, give your full, undivided attention to Willow Park, Amity Clawthore, Boscha Triplet, and her majesty, Princess Luz."
The students clap as the four girls entered the room.
"Hello, everyone. As you know, the invasion was a year ago, and as a celebration of survival, we'll talk about our experiences with it." Luz said, "We'll start with our demon expert, Boscha Triplet."
Boscha stepped forward.
"Thank you, Princess. When the portal opened and the demons entered our world, I was walking to school with my friends. We were cornered by a large reptilian demon capable of flying, known as a Death Glider. It seemed like certain death, until the Clawthorne sisters managed to cause enough of a distraction for us to get out of there. Of course, we started to get picked off one by one. But, I will allow the person who avoided getting caught by a demon talk."
Amity began to speak up.
"I managed to avoid getting caught like everyone, but I spent almost an hour being chased by Hellhounds and other smaller demons. It was almost two days that I managed to survive, but the Death Glider managed to get me. Instead of just trying to catch me, and inevitably bring me to the, former, Emperor Belos, it hit me with its massive twenty four inch long claw, known as a small claw, for the reason that it's smallest claw on the demon. An added fact to me bleeding out, its small claw holds poison that can kill someone in half an hour. Luckily, I was able to get away and made it to the Human Realm and get healed by our beloved Princess."
The entire class they heard about how this invasion, which Luz has officially named "The Incident", started and how it ended. The artificial witches in the back were enamored with it, they have only heard small bits and pieces of it. The class ended and Emily and Luz walked to their Oracle class.
"So... you were stabbed in the heart?" Emily asked.
"No, I was stabbed just above the heart." Luz said, "That's how I found out about my Bile Sac."
"Can you tell me the full story? You guys did say you left out some information."
"Maybe another time." Luz said, "Look out."
"Look out for-"
Emily tripped and Luz laughed.
"I thought you were an Oracle." Luz said.
"I am and your future looks bleak when I get my hands on you."
Emily got up and started chasing Luz, causing both of them to laugh. Luz stopped laughing when she remembered how many trophies Emily has in Track and Field.
One year ago, today, I posted the first chapter of "What Happened" officially joining the Owl House Fanfiction page. Thank you reading all of my stories, especially those that have been with me for the past year. By the way, I won't be near my computer the rest of the day because it's also my grandmothers birthday, so my family is going to celebrate it with her. I'll see you guys later.
