Religion, oddly enough when one takes a look at the world's various religions they all come back to one outcome.
For example, some people worship the brothers, beings that were said to have created light and darkness, one created things such as plants - animals - and humans.
Others worship the goddess and her husband who are said to have granted humanity the use of Semblance and creativity.
there are indeed others, like the belief of the four sisters each representing the various seasons, but I would like for you the reader to please note that there is a constant theme, war, or conflict.
For example light and darkness, creation and destruction.
The brothers are said to be the ones responsible for both creating us humans and the grim.
The goddess and her husband were said to have given humanity the ability to use their hidden potential and ability to change the world around us to better suit our needs.
And the seasons each contradict and benefit one another.
yet there is constant conflict amongst every one of these beliefs and I ask why?
There is a growing religion of a beast-man that guards the Fanus, it is he who stands opposed to a human that guards us the superior humans, and yet even in this new religion, the conflict continues.
Allow me to be more specific, let us take a look at the belief of the goddess and her husband.
the goddess is said to have granted us the ability to use semblance, but she was opposed t humans rowing in understanding and as such had it not been for her husband we would not have had any of the modern comforts we now enjoy.
I dare as to say that our population would have remained low and none of us would have ever known any peace.
Yet in our growing understanding and use of creativity we have brought about pollution and greater weapons of destruction, weapons we have used on fellow humans instead of grim.
While semblances are something that is a wonder to be had, they are things that are specific and unique to the individual, and to be honest, not all of them are useful for everyday life, and yet they are as much a part of us as creativity itself, which anyone can use and still needs to train to be able to use properly just like semblance.
The gods of light and darkness are credited for creating dust, which both Humans and Grimm can use.
The god of light is considered good and the god of darkness is considered evil.
Yet what if that is now the case.
Let us ask a question, what f the god of life was alone.
Ask your selves this what if something needed to eat you to stop being hungry and you were alive as it ate, you felt all of the pain and it never ended, the memory of that event would always be there.
That is what I have found while investigating said god.
The god of darkness, however, is no better he simply destroys, as grim aren't alive, they are more like a parasite created to keep things in check, and it's only after everything that can stop them is gone that they simply don't do anything.
Oddly enough when Grimm have been observed in their environment, they are peaceful, one would even argue they seem like domesticated creatures and yet they only imitate the things they have killed.
The sisters \ maidens, well there is no need to explain how they contradict one another.
Yet it is in this new religion that I feel we can see ourselves and the god's connection to the world.
We all know that the Fanus were created after us Humans, but I as to why.
Then the answer came the ever-present conflict is change.
The god of light is the old way, while the god of darkness is what makes room for new things to be made.
The goddess is the ever-present semblance we all have, and her husband is our will to change things and make them between.
The seasons are how this change varies and this new belief proves that regardless of what things remain the same but cant remain as they were.
Therefore I believe that all religions in our world are telling the same story.
The only difference is the end.
