Boscha moved the bushes out of the way and smirked.
"Dumb bastard, never changes up."
"Where are we?"
"An old factory my dad used to own." Boscha said, "He used to bring me here to beat me."
They walked into the building and Boscha crouched down. They snuck around and found a cauldron.
"Luz, are you thinking what I'm thinking?" Boscha asked.
"You know I am."
They grabbed a bottle and poured its contents in the cauldron. He should know better than to leave a cauldron out when the Top Potion Track student is around. In another part of the building, Boscha's father walked up to the chains holding Eda.
"Well, Owl Lady, they have yet to show up. If they don't show up by tomorrow, I'll turn you over to the Emperor's Coven. What they do to you, I can't even imagine."
"I don't want them anywhere near you Mavic!" Eda said.
He smirked.
"You really care about them, don't you?" He asked, "I used to respect you, but you've become another pathetic being, caught up in your heart."
"I do love them. They are children, and more importantly, they are MY kids!" Eda said.
Mavic slapped Eda.
"Pathetic. Love is for the weak." He said, "Maybe I won't turn you over to the Coven, maybe I'll do the job myself."
He pulled out a knife and held Eda by the hair. He moved the knife close to her neck.
"Drop the knife, dad."
He turned around and saw Luscha.
"You came." He said, "Did you bring the portal?"
She reached into her pocket and pulled out the portal key.
"Good, give it to me, or else the Owl Lady gets it."
He pressed the knife against Eda's neck. Luscha dropped the key and kicked it towards him.
"There, now let Eda go."
Mavic picked up the key and looked at them.
"No." He said, "Did you really believe I would let her go?"
"No, which is why-"
Luscha looked at the wooden key they made. They put a needle in the key and put the potion they made inside the hollow key.
"So how does this potion work?" Luz thought.
"It's a numbing potion. The reason I made sure to put a cork in the bottle. When it gets exposed to air it becomes a cloud of smoke. I know my father enough to know he'll break it." Boscha said.
They pulled out the real key.
"That's a fake."
Mavic looked at the key and growled. He broke it, which caused a puff of smoke to release from it. Mavic started coughing and a little blood came up. Luscha came over and grabbed his collar.
"I can't believe you fell for that."
She punched him and he fell to the ground. He started to get up and she gave him a hard kick to the stomach.
"All powerful potion expert? You couldn't tell there was a numbing potion in the fake."
Mavic clenched his knife and swung his arm at them. He caught them on the face and cut their cheek. They simply stood there.
"You've hurt me so much, that a small cut like that is nothing."
They hit him in the nose with their knee. He fell to the ground and tried to stop his broken nose from bleeding. They picked up his knife and look at him.
"You've spent years torturing me, you kidnapped Luz's teacher, someone I consider a parent, and you threatened to kill her."
"P-p-please let me go. I can fix you." He said, pulling out a small vial, "I made this potion to separate you two. All you need to do is drink it. Let me go and you can have it, Boscha."
They took the vial and looked at it.
"The name... is Luscha."
They dropped the vial and crush it under their foot. They walked over to him and shoved the knife through his heart.
"Good riddance, Puta."
They take the lock key out of his pocket and went over to Eda. They unlock the chains and Eda rubbed her wrist. She looked at them and ruffled their hair.
"Not bad, Kids."
