Cloud turned to look at the sky and try as he might he couldn't help but let out a breath, the only thing he could see was nothing more than a blue sky.

Five years ago he and his friend had tried to save the world but they failed, so they watched helplessly as meteor fell and all of a sudden they were somewhere that they couldn't recognize.

They didn't have to wonder what was going on for long because a man appeared in front of everyone.

He explained that he had managed to pull everyone to safety at the last moment but unfortunately the world they had been living in was dead now.

Fortunately, he managed to save both the lifestream and the weapons that the planet used to defend itself, so the humans from their world wouldn't be losing much.

The man offered everyone a choice, agree to live in peace while they were on his ship alongside the players or he could let them die and enter the lifestream.

There were no third options.

Those that agreed are the people that arrived at the new world, those that didn't dissolve into the lifestream.

The people from Gaia soon found that nearly everything from their old world was on the ship, so when they arrived at the new world they hadn't lost anything if they ignored the fact that they were now living on an alien planet.

A deal had been made with the players they would exchange technology- medicins and in exchange, the players would do the same for them.

The ship was like a lifeboat searching for a place to stop and deliver the refugees, fortunately, or unfortunately, the ship found two planets capable of supporting human life.

It was then that the man stepped in once again and stated that both sides would keep a section of each planet for themselves.

His reason was that if both sides kept a world for themselves then war would eventually break out between them, so both sides to learn to deal with one another before that happened.

And even if a war did happen, it was better if it happens while they were on the same playing field.

S everyone was teleported onto the Earth and began to rebuild.

Kirito watched as the airplanes landed, five years ago a guy showed up and said to everyone that something had happened that even he couldn't understand, but he explained it to everyone as best as he could.

According to him, he was as much a victim in all of this as them, but he tried to explain everything, or at least he tried to.

What he said was the following.

"Okay, you are all people that were trapped inside a videogame so all of you can understand this easier than most people so here goes."

"For whatever reason, everyone that was playing a version of the game that all of you were playing was transferred to this world and yes it is real, just look around you there are people from America, Japan, and other places here"

"That's the bad news, the good news is that a lot of your relatives are here because in another world similar to your own they played the game instead of you"

The moment the man said those world everyone began to search for their family members and to their surprise, they found brothers- sisters some people even found their parents.

"Now I have some strange news," he said to them as videos of what looked like the world of Final Fantasy seven were shown to everyone but everyone, and everything that Kirito could see looked a little too real.

It was only then that Kirito understood what the man was trying to tell them.

The world he was showing them was real.

"Look this is a big choice for me to make and I don't want to do it, everyone has to vote I can save them or not"

The moment everyone heard those words a screen appeared in front of them showing the same options, save the FF7 people Yes or No.

Kirito watched as the people around him pressed one option or another until only a couple of people were left, he heard as the man announced that those that didn't vote couldn't argue that they hadn't voted if things went wrong, because even he had voted.

In the end, they had saved the people of Gaia and to everyone's relief the people of Gaia weren't complete ass holes, so everyone passed the time either killing monsters or just passing time until te shi could find a new world they could all live on

So when the man announced that he had found two, everyone was more than happy.

Kirito had to admit that he was angry when the man announced that both groups would have to sare the worlds, after all, he was from earth and one of the planets that was found was his universe's version of the earth.

Every player agreed that even though they didn't come from the same version of earth, they were still players and more importantly Earthlings.

The people from Gaia could keep Mars, after all, they were the aliens among the group.

Everyone talked to each other using their help screens or simply speaking to each other and as they did, they all eventually agreed with the man, if they didn't learn to get along, then war would occur between the two groups one that could and would ruin everything.

So for five years, they colonized both the Earth and Mars.

Most of the native animal life-like horses- birds and things that could be found in the real world were in this version of earth, with a couple of monsters from Aincrad that could be found roaming around.

For whatever reason, a lot of the monsters from Gaia stayed on their side of the planet.

This doesn't change on Mars, except that the 's are strictly found in the player's section of the planets either doing basic manual labor or doing things that have to be done because unlike the people from Gaia, the player's populations isn't as big.

The way everyone gets from planet to planet is a version of the teleporters that Aincrad had in it, a set of them was given to both groups of people.

As for the ship and the man they are both still in space, the ship has become the main point where politicians and guild leaders and well anyone important goes to when they need to make any big decisions that affect everyone, other than that everyone can go tot he ship and either jut pass the time - hunt monsters do quests or mine the mountains and caves inside it.

It's kind of funny in a strange way because there are a lot of different people from all over the world and because a lot of the player's family members are here the world doesn't feel that different.

Things like tv's - cartoons - plumbing - electricity - even gas that we use to cook our food and heat water for hot showers were all built by the n.p.c's who somehow knew how to make those things or were uploaded to either the network that we players use to communicate with or created by the man that lives inside the ship.

Speaking of that man according to him he's happy living on the ship because even if he can't leave it, there are people inside the ship all of the time, so he always has someone to talk to and it's big enough for him not to feel trapped.

Kirito for his part was happy with all of this he had Asuna his wife- Yui his daughter with him.

Even his sister Suguha was here, granted that she was someone from another universe if what the man living in the ship has any truth to it, but honestly, Kirito couldn't tell the difference between his original sister and this one.

So maybe just maybe this was his sister and not someone from another universe.

So life is good, everyone is starting their lives over and a new normal has settled in, and from what Asuna tells him there are even arguments about starting a new mining colony so that they don't ruin the worlds they use to live in.

Even now as he lays down on the grass and closes his eyes Kirito can't help but let out a breath of, yeah life is good.
