In the church, Max walked up to Mark and looked at his old friend working.

"What?" Mark asked Max

"Yeah, so I figured out why everyone is all of a sudden well acting more human," Max said to Mark before he began to explain his findings

"Well I've been speaking to as many of the people I summoned and found out a couple of things, you know how most if not all of the men and women here don't see people walking around half-naked as anything odd"

"Well for one they are from universes where that kind of stuff is normal, that's the good news"

"The bad news is that from the way they explained it to me, they saw a pair of hands reaching out to them and rescued them," Max said to Mark

"Rescude them? Rescude them from what?" Mark aske dMax

"Yeah about that, they are either from the bad end where their universe ended or they were from a hentai universe"

"Believe it or not, but up until recently they were all aware of everything and the fact that they couldn't go certain places, they just put that in us deciding that they didn't have to go there" Max explained to Mark

"Then why don't any of them leave?" Mark asked Max

"We have dimensions on top of dimensions and so much room that they don't see the point in doing that" Max answered Mark before stopping and looking at his old friend

"There's something you're not telling me isn't there," Mark said to Max as he looked at the expression Max was making

"Yeah, it's about the Grail, you know how the Midnight Lost child is powering the thing up"

"I don't know how to say this but if the lost child has cause unnecessary consequences, I'm beginning to question what consequences has the grail cause that we haven't found out yet"

The two friends looked at one another before they both smiled

"It's not our problem," Mark said to Max before he went back to fixing the church.

"This place and the bubbles of reality in it, are for them so if we somehow manage to leave, they have everything they need so that they don't have to get involved with this world any more than we have so far"

"If our wish fails and we don't leave, nothing changes and everything remains the same" Mark said to Max as he hammered a nail into the floor.

"yeah, but the question is what remains the same, we aren't the same men that arrived in this world, and we sure as hell won't be the same when, no if we manage to get home," Max said to Mark before turning his head

"Can you hear that?"

"Yeah, those three are doing something stupid"

"So should we stop them?"

"No, let them learn, kids need to learn things the hard way," Mark said to Max before throwing him a notepad.

Max picked up the notepad and found a list of names written on it.

"I spoke to the clones you made of the devils while you were away, and I found that there are a bunch of places they stay away from for one reason or another."

"If you're worried about things that might happen, then forget about them and find the things that are happening. We have the power and soldiers to do so" Mark said to Max however he never bothered to turn and look at his old friend.

"What happened to not getting overly involved?" Max asked Mark but Mark didn't answer him

Rias looked at the eight pawns in front of her, they were hers that much was right but to think that someone had figure out a way of making resurrected humans that had been made into devils back to being human was something she had trouble wrapping her head around.

It was one thing receiving someone else evil pieces, it was something completely different receiving her own.

She had teased Sona about the bet the dragons and their wielders had made with one another and she had enjoyed it until Sona pointed out that because eight of her evil pieces had been present she was technically a part of the bet as well.

However, neither Sona nor herself knew if she was a player in said bet or just another trophy for the victor to enjoy.

Rias looked at her ceiling, this small room was hers, it wasn't much but it was hers, most if not all wouldn't understand the significance behind it but it didn't matter as long as she did.

Her engagement was already secure and soon everything she knew - owned and was would belong to her husband.

This wasn't out of the ordinary in hell, not by a long shot, unlike the humans who rarely had arranged marriages, the devils like herself still had them for the purely born devils, and as such she was expected to continue the tradition.

The only exceptions to this rule were if both parties agreed to break off the said engagement if someone managed to win her from her fiance in a battle to prove that he was the superior male or if she turned her back on everyone and everything.

That included her servants.

The first and last options were out of the question, for one it had been her father and mother that chose who her fiance was, and despite her brother's best attempts to break off the engagement he had been unsuccessful in doing so.

the last option meant that her servants would be labeled stray devils and either be hunted or made into pleasure servants to pay for her crimes.

Yet she now found herself with an interesting option one that she could live with, one of the three men could win against that man, granted they were still green but would learn and grow in power.

Rias understood full well the nature of dragons because her parents had warned her not to do certain things around them, it wasn't because they wanted to keep her safe, far from it.

It was just incredibly difficult to get a dragon to leave you alone when they had an interest in something you did.

So if she wanted the two humans to fight for her, she needed to get their dragons to acknowledge that she was in fact a prize in their little game too.

It didn't matter if her partner was human after all he would only live for a few years in comparison to herself, so after he died she would regain control of everything, including their children

the only question was how to make them turn in her direction.
