[ Max's universe ]
The three of them had woken up and did their morning rotten, it was hard to believe that after a year of traveling from one world to another their journey was finally come to an end.
Mineta handed Max one of his spare wrist computers so max wouldn't end up randomly jumping from one world to another, like when they first met.
Mineta watched as Max pressed a couple of buttons and found Mineta's home universe, the three of them walked through the portal and they found themselves in a world where the human population had suddenly gained superpowers, but they called them Quirks there.
Mineta let out a breath as he looked around and watched all of the people walk past him without a care in the world, he smiled as he saw a man who had a pair of crocodile hands, a woman with wings, and a group of school children playing with each other while the used their powers to attack one another.
The three of them walked quietly with one another and soon they were standing in front of Mineta's house, Mineta hugged Max and then he hugged Serena and then he walked away.
Max and Serena listened to Mineta's family scream with joy as he entered the house, and they were going to leave when Mimeta suddenly ran back out of the house and handed Serena another one of his spare wrist computers.
Max didn't bother mentioning that, by handing the princes the computer Minta was only left with one spare wrist computer.
Serena put on the computer and turned t on, Max watched as the princes pressed a couple of buttons and found her home dimension.
They found themselves in Earth's past before the internet was something everyone used and almost no one had a cellphone.
The two of them walked towards Serena's parent's apartment and Max left Serena in front of her apartment before hiding behind a wall.
He watched as Serena's dad opened the door and hugged Serena and with tears, brought her inside.
"The story is over," Max said to himself as he walked away, he found himself walking without any direction until he found himself in front of a coffee shop and sat down.
He ordered a simple cup of coffee and he began to drink it slowly, he pretended not to notice the tears falling from his eyes, even as the school girls pointed and laughed at him.
Normally he would have tried to hid anything embarrassing, but right now he didn't are, those kids had given him hope, and kept him busy during their journey and now they were gone, back where they belonged.
Max paid for the coffee and walked for a little while before entering an alley and opened a portal that led him back home.
He stood alone inside his apartment and immediately activated his wrist computer and headed towards one of the worlds he had visited before.
The world was dead and only a couple of things were left alive in it.
None of them were truly alive, but they were what remained of the vampires - werewolves - mummies, and whatever was left in this world.
Max listened to the sound of his footsteps as he walked down the remains of Vatican city.
He soon found himself inside a locked room that had several rare artifacts that couldn't be found anywhere else in the world, the library of forbidden books, the thorn crown- the actual body of
Max placed the nails next to the first bible.
"Why return them? Why not take everything else here?" The Major asked Max.
"The story is over" Max answered what remained of the major, the automatons body was broken beyond repair, and all that was left o the man was his brain and something he used to speak with.
Max had no idea how the man could hear him, but he mostly ignored the mad man.
"I see, so this is the last time you will be coming back"
"Forgive me if I find that hard to believe, power calls upon power and one act leads to another"
"Your actions, alongside the actions of your friends, have caused changes that would have never occurred had the three of you, not been present," The Major said to max and for a moment Max stopped to listen to the mad man.
"This place was once the main headquarters of a sacred religious organization that had many branches, do you think it was the only one?"
"The weapons and treasures of this world belong to you the last Human, I will not excuse what I did, but I will not be held responsible for what those monsters did," The Major said to Max
"Your attack on the city" Max began only for the Major to stop him
"Yes on one city, those monsters attacked the entire world, between Alucard and Anderson, we Vampires would have been completely erased from the face of the world"
"I will take full responsibility for the death of this city"
"Now I ask of you what chain reactions did you and your friends start?" the Major asked Max
Max lowered his head and turned to look at the nails he had just placed on the altar next to the first bible, he graved a cross that had one of the thorns that were a part of the crown Christ wore when he was crucified.
He activated his wrist computer and stepped through the portal.
