[Fate the end]

Max listened to his wrist computer beep it was the fifth time one of the kids used the computer they had been given to move from one world to another.

The jumps from one world to another weren't random, Serena was moving from one ruined world to another, she either spent a couple of hours in one world before jumping back to her universe.

Max checked his wrist computer and he wasn't surprised to see that it was Serena herself that was searching for these worlds in particular.

"Perhaps she's trying to e a hero? or maybe she thinks that she might be able to help the people in those worlds," Max said to himself, as he remembered their or better said his constant failures.

It wasn't the first time, their little group tried to help people, or save what remained of one world or another, Max closed his eyes and gave a silent prayer so that Serena didn't have to see the same things he had.

He had seen too many deaths, and as such he didn't bother trying to be a hero anymore, hell he didn't try to help people anymore.

Mineta was jumping from what appeared to be one nearly dead world to another nearly dead one, but he wasn't alone, with every jump the number of people he had with him grew.

Max was about to say something when his computer beeped alerting him of an incoming portal.

Max stood up and pointed his gun towards the portal, he had learned to always keep a gun- a sword and a shield between himself and any sort of opened gate that he hadn't opened himself.

Max let out a breath of relief when he saw Mineta leading a large group of people into the house.

"Explain" Max ordered Mineta who just smiled at him.

"I rescued them before they died, this is the end of the universe right? and you haven't gone back home so this is the safest place for them," Mineta said to Max who just let out a breath

"Why?" Max said to Mineta, who just kept on smiling.

"Well, I thought that if I couldn't be a hero in my world" Mineta began to say to Max who cut him off.

"Then you could be the hero in the multiverse. This never ends well, you saw a lot of what happened before man" Max said to Mineta who immediately turned to look at the people behind him.

"Yeah, but I have to try even if it kills me because that's what heroes do" Mineta answered Max.

Max closed his eyes and looked at the ceiling of his mansion.

"Okay, everyone listen up"

"You are at the end of the universe, the point of when one universe dies and another is born, the world is a lot bigger than before and there's a lot to g around, but no one to eat it, or use it," Max said to the refugees, who just looked at him with frightened expressions.

"I'm not the guy that brought you here, so I'll make myself clear"

"I don't tolerate wars or petty infighting for stupid reasons, so if any of you do that, I'll send you back to whatever world you came from"

"With that being said, let's find you, folks, a place to live," Max said to the group of people that now looked at him with eyes filled with terror.

Max was tempted to just let the group of people live in the mansion and end it at that, but the portal never closed and the people just kept on coming into the mansion.

So Max had no choice but to lead them outside.

Max couldn't help but smile when he laid eyes on the automaton's work.

They were machines so it was no surprise that they worked fast, but to think that they worked this fast.

In front o him, a pyramid stood next to a high school, and next to them was a hospital.

Just ahead of them was some sort of high-tech building, while in front of it was a building that was somehow floating with magic, Max only knew it was using magic because of the giant sign that said Magic building.

Max had to use his wrist computer alongside a danger sensor that he received from the builder to guide the refugees into buildings that wouldn't either kill them or worse.

Mineta followed Max's example and began to do the same, the two were so caught up in their work that neither of them noticed that the earth itself was breathing in the life of the humans that had just arrived.

The remaining gods and devils felt themselves suddenly become filled with power as they felt the presence of something that shouldn't have existed anymore, no they knew it existed, but not in this quantity.

They followed the feeling of power - life- magic and souls until they found themselves looking at what they once thought was an impossible, a growing city filled with humans.

One by one they entered the city and began to plot, their game wasn't over just yet, but they needed to see what exactly was going on, either way, they were content to find that they wouldn't have to see the end of the universe in complete boredom.

"So what do you want t call this city?" Max asked Mineta

"I don't know, you're the one in charge" Mineta answered Max

'How am I in charge they're your problem" Max said to Mineta who just stared at him

"Fine we will think of a name for it later" Max answered Mineta before turning back and walking back to the mansion
