Two days later
Max walked into the same room he had left again he was in complete darkness, this time however he wasn't alone, Mineta walked next to him neither of them said anything.
They simply began to place a couple of flashlights around the room.
"Hey Max," Mineta said to Max
"I was thinking, why don't we just bring the refugees here, I mean almost all of the monsters are either dead or," Mineta said to Max before the Major stopped cut him off
"Or are the strongest of their kind, and if they are not they are the most cunning of them all for it was they who found a way of surviving the apocalypse," the major said to Mineta
"Forgive my rudeness for interrupting your conversation, but I find myself wondering why the two of you return to this place this world," the Major said to Max and Mineta, but he stopped talking when Max walked up to him.
"Because we need your help, we need someone that knows war," Max said to the Major as he poured a potion on the body of the automaton.
The potion began to take effect the moment it touched the broken machine and soon the major was back to looking like a fat man wearing an expensive white suit.
"Again, I must say I find myself wondering why."
" I could just kill the two of you and leave this world by the means of transportation that the two of you have on your hands," the major said to Max and Mineta, yet the two of them just looked at him.
The Majors expression didn't change he just kept on smiling "I see that I need to keep my questions to myself, no how may I be of assistance to the last two humans on earth"
"First thing is first, what do you want in exchange for helping us?" Max said to the major, but the mechanical contraption immediately stopped smiling and gave him a look that was somehow even more unsettling because of the Major's cold dead eyes.
"My friend, I have nothing left, no better said I have nothing I want"
"You see, I was able to take part in the greatest war ever seen on earth, it was so great that anyone that mattered died, just as worthless as the homeless people living on the street"
"Ask of me whatever you desire, I have no more seems, for I desire nothing else," the major said to Max.
"Where are the monsters that survived the war" Max immediately said to the major who just began to laugh.
"And just how would I know that, I've been nothing more than a broken mess for the last fifty years" the major answered Max.
"...Then, I need you to find them and kill them. If they prove themselves too much, call me for help" Max said to the major as Mineta opened a portal and several robots and golems stepped out.
The major watched as the machines made by science and magic began to clean up the area around them and somehow begin to repair the broken wall of the building alongside its ceiling and floors.
'I see, fate is quite ironic is it not' the major said to Max.
"Allow me to remember a phrase or better said a catchphrase. We are Iscariot, we are Gods Sword Given Human form"
"To think that I would end up paying for my crimes by be taking the place of the man that became a monster to kill another monster" the major said as he walked past Max and Mineta.
"How will he call us for help?" Mineta asked max
"He was trapped in a broken machine body for fifty years, no one can do that without having a way to pass the time."
"So either he's connected to a couple of more bodies, or he has a way of communicating with the rest of the world," Max said to Mineta s the Major walked out of Vatican and saw his first sunrise.
He began to sing ad only turned around when he heard the sound of footsteps behind him.
"I do say they do work fast," the Major said as he looked at the machines fixing the massive building that had been his tomb.
"Now who should I kill first," The Major asked himself as the image of a minotaur flashed before his eyes.
"Oh good, I haven't had a stake in such a long time," the major said as he stopped walking and picked up several of the holy weapons still laying about the ruined land.
