Luz landed the staff outside the Blight Manor. She thought about borrowing Eda's staff, but she had to run an errand, AKA she went to go rob someone blind, so she borrowed Lilith's. Luz looked at her reflection, adjusted her tie, and ran a hand in her hair trying to keep it slicked. The door opened and she saw Amity, in a dress similar to the one she wore to Grom.
"H-h-hi, Luz."
"H-h-hi, Amity."
The two were so focused, looking into each other's eyes (I feel like Eda, that was too flowery) they didn't notice that Odalia and Alador were in the door frame.
"Hm, she's ten minutes early. What do you think, Dear?" Alador asked.
"She's clearly trying to impress. I can respect that. Remember, Human, no funny business." She got close to Luz, "Or else."
"Y-y-you got it Ma'am. I will bring her home by midnight."
Luz quickly took off with Amity hugging her tightly on their flight.
"So, where are we going?" Amity asked.
"Somewhere special."
Luz landed on the ground and Amity saw where they were.
"Luz, is this-"
"The tree we made at Grom? Yes." Luz pulled out something from behind it, "I made us a picnic."
Luz sat on the blanket and patted the spot next to her. Amity sat next to Luz and it was a little... awkward.
"So, you look nice." Amity said.
Luz looked at the white suit with black dress shirt, white tie, and black trim. Luz was actually surprised that Lilith's old clothes fit her, and even more surprised that Lilith has a suit like this.
"T-t-thanks." Luz said.
Amity sighed.
"Luz, what are we doing?" Amity asked.
"What?" Luz asked.
"We are acting like we don't know how to have a conversation?"
"Amity, I'm just nervous." Luz said.
"Why? We've been friends for a while, we both know how to speak with each other."
"Amity, if I'm afraid of doing something that will make your parents hate me."
"Why?"
"Because if something happens, then Willow, Gus, and I will be kicked out of Hexside again."
Amity stared at her.
"Is... is that why you went on this date?" Amity asked, standing up, "I knew there was no reason for you to go on a date with me."
Amity started walking away when Luz grabbed her hand.
"Amity, wait. I do want to go on a date with you, but I also don't want Gus and Willow to be kicked out of school because of me." Luz said, "Amity, please believe me when I say, I like you... more than a friend. I've wanted to say that for a while but I was afraid of-"
Amity pulled Luz in and kissed her. Luz was shocked but quickly welcomed it. The two separate and Luz held Amity.
"So, you didn't come on this date just to help Willow and Gus? You actually like me?"
"Amity, I love you, and if that kiss is anything to go by, you love me as well." Luz said.
"C... can we start this date over?"
"Anything for you."
The two sat and ate before Luz stood up. She held out a hand and Amity looked at it in confusion.
"What?"
"Dance with me." Luz said.
Amity smiled and took it. The two of them look into each other's eyes. They started to repeat the dance they had at Grom (Sorry I don't know how to dance or write dance scenes) except when they got to the end of it, Luz pulled her back, spinning Amity and dipping her in her arms. Luz smiled as Amity blushed in both by surprise and being flustered. Luz reached into her pocket and dug around it for a second.
"Hold on a second."
Amity looked at Luz in confusion, mostly because she just ruined the moment. Amity forgot about that when Luz made her flustered again by pulling out a plant glyph and put the rose in between her teeth.
"Hola, Querida, la luna hace que tus ojos brillen como diamantes."
Amity got very red and squeaked. Luz smiled at her and transferred the rose over to her mouth, by kissing. They separated and Luz looked at the very broken lesbian in her arms.
"Amity, do you want to be my girlfriend."
Amity could only nod. She lost her ability to speak when Luz dipped her. Luz took the rose out of Amity's mouth and pulled her up. She kissed Amity again, this time, they were both prepared for it.
"I love you, Amity."
Amity, still a little out of it could only say one thing.
"I'm gay."
Luz just laughed, but she knew Amity was trying to say 'I love you, too'.
