Kazuma exhaled as he rubbed the dirt from his forehead, having to dig so many holes in the ground by himself was exhausting, but he would rather be out here working than inside the church with all of those crazy women.

Yesterday had started off good, then it got bad, then it got worse.

They were heading to the village that had hired them to kill a couple of goblins, and after talking with the elder or mayor Kazuma couldn't remember which it was, but it didn't matter.

Anyway, they headed to the cave where the goblins were living, and then things started going wrong.

The moment Darkness saw the goblins she rushed at them with her sword in hand, only to let go of it and charge at the monsters with an overly eager expression.

Normally goblins would try and attack any woman they saw, but for whatever reason, they all ran away from Darkness.

For a moment Kazuma thought that maybe he should let Darkness stay and live with the monsters so she could live her fantasy, but then he thought about it and decided to help the poor creatures die before Darkness did something even worse to them.

So with their surprise attack ruined, they all decided to charge into the cave and deal with whatever was in it.

Wiz immediately got to work, she didn't even cast any spells, because she is an undead whenever he wanted to attack she just did.

So Wiz either made spikes of ice grow and pierce whatever goblins she didn't like, froze them in place, or surrounded them with walls of ice so they suffocated to death.

All of the goblins that attacked Aqua were burned because of the aura sh hs, meaning that they couldn't hurt her, even if they use weapons.

Yunyun cast Lighting Saver over and over killing every goblin she could find.

Kazuma had no choice but to use a combination of tinder- create fire and wind breath to create a makeshift flamethrower to burn the monsters to death.

They soon found Darkness breaking the skull of a goblin that once sat on a throne made of human bones.

Neither Wis nor Aqua said anything they just walked past Darkness and entered a room that was hidden behind a door made of human bones and skin...

hey soon heard the screams of children before both Wiz and Aqua stepped back out.

Wiz then began to chant and she made all of the dead rise before sending them deeper into the caves.

"Over theRe," Wiz said to Aqua, and at that moment Aqua flooded an entire area of the cave

No one even tried to disobey the enraged pair and Megumin cast her explosion the moment both Wiz and Aua told her to.

As for the women that had been taken prisoner, Aqua began to heal them.

Then she offered them a chance to join her cult and now they're all just as crazy as any other Axis cultist.

What makes Aquas healing different from most if not all other kinds of healing is that it undoes the damage done to the body- soul and mind of a person.

Kazuma understood this a long time ago, because one night that he stayed awake for no reason he started to think about all of the times he died and how they all hurt, yet he was fine, he wasn't terrified of dying or lacking himself away because it was too much.

His only answer was the way Aqua healed him, and one day he watched as she healed a man that had lost ha leg years ago and was traumatized because of it, Aqua heald bot the man's injury and his trauma, while giving him another leg that was just like the one he had lost.

Kazuma was finally done digging, soon Wiz would bury the bodies of the villages they had found that were destroyed by the surrounding monsters.

The people that remained were now living close to them, unfortunately however they were now responsible for all of the newcomers so that meant making the place safe.

And that meant hunting monsters both for work and just because they had to.

Kazuma wished he had somewhere to hide in because so far three religions exist in this new town, the church of Aqua, or the Axis church, the Eris church, the church of the Earth Mother, and one more Kazuma didn't want to remember right now.

Right now all of the members of each church are women, but both Darkness and Aqua keep telling people that he's a part of their church, and unfortunately, they're right, on one side Kazuma stands next to Aqua as the party leader.

And the guy that keeps her from messing up to much.

As for Eris, he's her champion, as much as he denied it their words, they were telling people the truth.

Kazuma turned his head and he could see the remaining men and boys helping to build a wall made of rock to defend their new village, the wall will surround an area about the same size as Axel so it's going to be a while before the men finish.

Kazuma closed his eyes and slowly lay on the grass, this place reminded him of home, except t didn't have a thriving town, but it was only a matter of time now.
