He didn't like leaving a mission unfinished but he couldn't allow the new group to escape or run away if something happened.
"Hey Sakura that girl looks like you," Naruto said to the only female member of his team
He had to admit it was off seeing the two teams standing in front of each other as they greeted one another.
The red-haired boy named Leon introduced himself to Sasuke, while the blond-haired girl named Samantha introduced herself to Naruto and finally the two pink-haired girls greater each other.
"Hie I'm Ryoko," the pink-haired girl introduced herself to Sakura
It almost made him smile looking at the different colored heads the children had.
"So when do we leave?" Jack asked Kakashi
"Right now actually" Kakashi answers Jack their mission had already been completed, they had been hired to make sure that the bridge builder made it to the land of waves and they did.
There was nothing that said that they had to help him defend the bridge or his homeland.
"We can't" Naruto protested he had made friends with some of the people here.
"Hey, old man do you have any work for us?" Jack said to the bridge builder.
"Not right now, I can't exactly build a bridge without materials" he answers Jack
"Okay how about we cut some of those trees down and we help you build the thing," Jack said to the bridge builder who just looked at him.
"Didn't you just make a deal with this guy, that you would go to his village?" The bridge builder said to Jack
"Yeah, but the deal was that we would go to his village, we're free to choose when we go and leave" Jack answer the bridge builder who seems to consider Jack's words for a moment before dismissing him.
"No, come back in a few weeks when I have the materials I need," the man said to Jack
So with the negotiations done, they all began to walk back to the leaf village.
"So aren't the people you were fighting going to come back?" Ryoko asked Sakura who didn't answer her
"No, I'm sure that they found something even more valuable that they will end up leaving the bridge builder alone" Kakashi answers Ryoko
Kakashi was about to turn to look ahead when he noticed the other children the ones that weren't a part of his team pick up some rocks and then immediately throw them away.
They did this for a while if it wasn't a group of random rocks, it was some random branches that they found laying around.
He would have commented on what they were doing, but he never heard the sound of any of those things landing.
They had already left the beach behind so he should have heard the objects hitting some tree branches or landing on the grass but no sound followed.
"Interesting" Kakashi thought to himself
"So I noticed that all of your team are children," Kakashi said to Jack and he immediately noticed the wide smiles, Leon and Samantha had on their faces.
"Yep, Jack is our Daddy and when we grow up, we're going to be adventurers just like him," Samantha said to him.
"So the two of you," Kakashi says to Ryoko
"No, Jack's my uncle and he's teaching me to be an adventure" Ryoko answers him
"I see," Kakashi says to her
"Naruto- Sakura, and Sasuke aren't related to me, but they are all my team," he says to them
"Cool" Jack answers him
"So I couldn't help but notice both Leon and Samantha have different colored hair than you do," Kakashi says to Jack
"Yeah, I don't get it either but trust me when I say this their mother had some strange genes"
"Don't ask me why but the two of them came out with different colored hair" Jack answers him before laughing.
"I see" Kakashi repeated
His suspensions were nearly confirmed, the children's mother was either a surviving member of the Senju clan or the Uzumaki clan.
Both of those clans tended to have children that either had their mother's hair color- the father's hair color or a relative's hair color.
No one understood why, they just did.
"Sorry I know my questions sound like if I'm interrogating you, but it is a long walk," Kakashi says to Jack who shrugged
"Don't worry about it" Jack answers him
Kakashi notices that there isn't any sight of suspicion in his voice and he immediately understands that the man must be used to people asking him the same thing over and over again.
Thankfully the walk back to the village is faster than when they went to the land of waves because of their current speed.
So they should arrive at the hidden leaf when the use rises if they don't stop for the night, but that's unreasonable, both for his team and the strangers.
So even if they rest for the night, they should arrive by the time the sun sets again.
