I am an insane manga and anime fan. I came across fan fiction by accident. But have been reading continuously since then. I've started few stories. Hope you guys enjoy them.

Challenges:

1)NARUTO THE PHOENIX

Here's my challenge for anyone who wants to write the story. I've had this idea for a while now and I wanted to write this story myself, but between my own two fics and my schedule, I haven't had the time. So instead I issue this challenge to anyone out there who is interested. I'll help as a beta to the story. It is a slight crossover, but since there is very little of One Piece, I would say this is more of a Naruto fic with Naruto having extra powers.

Naruto while running away from the mobs that were chasing him, ran into the forest of death. Since he ran in there when it was dark, he was lost. He stayed in the forest for three whole days till he finally managed to get out. While he was in there, he managed to find a weird looking fruit. Since he was hungry, he ate the fruit even though it tasted awful. The fruit was actually the mythical zoan devil fruit, Phoenix-Phoenix fruit, which had somehow crossed dimensions. When Naruto ate the fruit, the will of the previous user of the fruit, Phoenix Marco was passed on to him because of which he learnt how to use all the three types of haki. He called them, the sense of the phoenix (Kenbonshoku haki), the armor of the phoenix (Bushoushoku haki) and the voice of the phoenix (Haoshoku haki).

He could use the sense of the phoenix (Kenbonshoku haki) right away, which he used to hide away from mobs that were hunting him down. He needed to get stronger physically to use the armor of the phoenix (Bushoushoku haki) and he needed to master the first two powers to a great extent before he could use the voice of the phoenix (Haoshoku haki).

Besides this he could turn into a phoenix and fly whenever he wanted to. But he learns to do that perfectly only after the time-skip. I don't want Naruto being too overpowered before the time-skip.

After he escaped from the forest he overheard a conversation because of his sense of the phoenix (Kenbonshoku haki). The civilians were discussing that 'the demon brat' had joined the academy and that they must do something to make sure that he never got strong. Naruto when he heard this, decided to keep his new found powers hidden from everyone except the Sandaime. He told Hiruzen everything and Hiruzen decided to keep everything Naruto said a secret. To cover up his obvious weakness of not being able to swim, Hiruzen told him how to do tree climbing and water walking and told him to practice them on his wall and his bath tub, so that in case anything happened, he wouldn't drown.

Since he started training in chakra control at a much younger age, his chakra control became a lot better and he managed to create a regular bunshin to pass the graduation exam before catching Mizuki because his sense of the phoenix (Kenbonshoku haki) sensed Mizuki trying to leave the village.

Naruto learns the Kage-Bunshin no Jutsu only after the time-skip. Jiraiya is the one who teaches him the technique.

He becomes capable of using the armor of the phoenix (Bushoushoku haki) just before the Chunin exam finals.

He masters both the armor of the phoenix (Bushoushoku haki) and the voice of the phoenix (Haoshoku haki) only after the time-skip.

For pairings, I would suggest either or Naruto-Tenten or Naruto-Temari or Naruto-Anko or Naruto-Mei or Naruto-Tsunade(even though Tsunade, Mei and Anko are much older than him, no one can deny that they're hot). If you want, feel free to do a Harem with the above mentioned.

Include Hinata, only if it is a Harem or else change Hinata into OOC or into the Road to a Ninja Hinata. I like Hinata in Road to a Ninja. Either that or atleast more forward without any of the awkward blushing or fainting. Personally I hated Hinata whenever she did that. I'm a Naru-Hina fan but I became one only after the Pain arc.

If you're making it Naruto-Sakura or Naruto-Ino, find a way yourself to break them out of their fan-girl tendencies.

This is entirely up to you whether you want to do it or not. Make Sasuke gay. I'm a big fan of Konoha's Dream Team. I like Naruto and Sasuke being literally brothers in the story. Naruto is paired with Ino while Sasuke is gay. They often make gay jokes, ofcourse all in light humor.

If you want to do a Yaoi, only SasuNaru or HakuNaru.

If you want to bash Sasuke, Sakura or Kakashi, you can do that as well. I don't mind. Add people like Danzo and the civilians when you do that.

As far as Kurama is concerned, don't make him manipulative. Either keep him as he is in canon or else turn him into a good Kurama who helps him out. If you are making Kurama female, go ahead, but don't make her have a separate body and also don't pair Naruto with Kurama. If Kurama is female, let her be like a hot mother/older sister figure to Naruto.

Also don't change Naruto's height in any manner. He is the shortest in his graduation class. Let him remain the shortest. I kind of like the idea of romancing a taller girl since my girlfriend is about 2 inches taller than me. Even after the time-skip while he did become taller than the girls in his graduation class, he was still shorter than the older women.

NOTE: NO ONE ELSE HAS SEEN, HEARD OF OR EATEN A DEVIL FRUIT. NO OTHER DEVIL FRUIT EXISTS. IT MAY MAKE NARUTO A LITTLE OVER-POWERED BUT EXCEPT FOR MARCO'S FRUIT AND NARUTO'S HAKI, I DON'T WANT ANY ONE PIECE ELEMENT IN THE STORY. ALSO NO ONE ELSE USES HAKI EITHER. THIS IS NOT GOING TO BE A CROSSOVER FIC.

ALSO NO DARK NARUTO. NO GREY NARUTO EITHER. I DON'T WANT NARUTO MAKING BIG COMPLICATED PLOTS ABOUT TAKING DOWN THE COUNCIL OR DANZO OR ANYTHING.

Also even though I rated it as T, you can feel free to change it into an M or whatever you want. That's entirely up to you.

2) NARUTO THE CIVILIAN

This story is slightly based on The First Male Nin, Futa's boy Naruto and certain other stories. This is an M-Rated fic. This is also a slight Naruto-One Piece crossover (very slight).

In the ninja world, only Kunoichi can use chakra and hence become ninja. The males are mere civilians. Namikaze Minako (Minato) and Uzumaki Kushina have two children, Naruto and Mito with Naruto being the older child by four years.

On the day Mito was born, Konoha was attacked by a masked man who pretends to be Uchiha Midori (Madara). Minako fights her, and drives her out of Konoha, but just before she disappears, she says, "I'll get the Kyuubi eventually." Minako then decides to make Naruto the jinchuuriki of the Kyuubi. Since a boy who can't use chakra is being made the Jinchuuriki, neither can the biju's power be used nor can it be extracted from the boy. Minako and Kushina seal the Kyuubi inside Naruto and tell the Sandaime, Hiruka (Hiruzen) to keep it a secret.

Mito and Naruto grow quietly among the people of Konoha. They get their own apartment. Naruto raises Mito all by himself. Naruto turns out to be a very matured individual while Mito turns out to be very childish.

Since there is no chakra link between Naruto and Kurama, a large portion of his nutrients goes into the seal. Due to this Naruto remains short and light throughout his life despite eating a lot and also training his body a lot. In fact, he can't grow taller than 5 feet. By the time his sister is eight years old, she is already taller and stronger than him.

Even then Naruto is adored by so many that he has many fan-girls including the daughter of his mother's best friend Uchiha Izumi (Itachi), with whom he falls in love.

Mito looks like Naruto in his Oiroke no Jutsu. Mito acts like canon Naruto i.e plays a lot of pranks that make her brother laugh and is terrible at studies. She is not a genius but is very hard-working and wants to be a Kunoichi. Naruto on the other hand is more like Minako (Minato). He is a prodigy who is brilliant in strategy, encryption and decryption, with a hunger for knowledge. Being male, he can't be a ninja. But that doesn't stop him from becoming a part of the military setup of Konoha, since his skills in strategy rival the Jounin commander, Nara Shiki (Shikaku). He is taken in as her apprentice. Naruto also meets the Kyuubi, Kurama. Kurama realizing that she cannot escape out of her current vessel since he is a male becomes cooperative and teaches Naruto, all about medicine. Kurama having healed all its previous containers over the years turns out to be an excellent teacher of medicine and turns Naruto into the best non-chakra practitioner of medicine in Konoha.

Naruto because of his genius becomes popular among all the civilians and ninja of Konoha. Izumi teaches him Taijutsu. His Taijutsu becomes good enough to beat any civilian. Only Kunoichi are stronger than him.

Naruto's dream is to make his sister the Hokage. Mito's life turns out to be very similar to that of canon Naruto. She isn't smart and ends up being dead-last in the academy. She also has a ton of chakra being an Uzumaki and hence cannot perform the kage-bunshin. She is used by Mizuki and steals the forbidden scroll of seals. Mizuki targets her because she hears a rumor about the Kyuubi being inside her. She learns the kage-bunshin no jutsu from the seal. Mito wants to become Hokage and surpass her father. She also loves her brother and wants to get stronger to be able to protect him first.

Naruto graduates from the civilian academy as a prodigy amongst prodigies at the age of 7. He studies very earnestly so as to take care of his sister. Most civilians graduate only by the time they are 17. He works in the hospital as a medic and at the Hokage tower as a strategist whenever required.

For pairings, Mito is paired with Haku, while Naruto has a harem of younger and older girls/women, some submissive, some dominant, while the true love of his life will be Izumi (Itachi), who kills all her clan members and becomes a missing-nin during the Uchiha massacre.

During the time-skip, Naruto goes with Mito and Jira (Jiraiya). Jira gives him some fuinjutsu scrolls that belonged to his parents. Naruto becomes a genius at fuinjutsu and also starts teaching his sister. Naruto's ability with fuinjutsu is limited since he can't use chakra. But his sister with his help becomes proficient in fuinjutsu. Kurama meanwhile starts training Naruto in his mindscape.

Kurama teaches Naruto a power that existed before even the Rikodou sennin, a power known as Haki. Haki cannot be used by chakra users. Naruto learns how to use kenbonshoku, bushoushoku and haoshoku haki and becomes the only haki user in the ninja world. Naruto however isn't the fastest person around and cannot travel like a ninja. He has to be carried around by a ninja in order to keep up. Humor scenes could include Naruto being carried away by his younger sister or her classmates, who are all taller than him and being embarrassed about it.

The Akatsuki meanwhile struggle for a long period of time looking for the Kyuubi's jinchuuriki and eventually come to the conclusion that it is Mito. They don't even suspect Naruto since he is a male. Only Jira, Hiruka, Mito and Naruto know who the real Jinchuuriki of the Kyuubi is. Dani (Danzo), Ororo (Orochimaru) and the Akatsuki believe that Mito is the Jinchuuriki.

Anyone up for this challenge, feel free to contact me. I'm willing to be the beta for this story. I'd do this myself, but I find myself struggling for time to do the fics that I've already started. I've got an eight hour a day job now which has made it even harder for me to write fan-fiction.

3)NARUTO OF THE GOKOU-A Naruto x One Piece crossover

Kaguya in a last minute revenge creates a blast that sends everyone into a wormhole. They all appear in an inter-dimensional space. The Bijus and the older generation ninjas use all their chakra and powers to create a tear in the space. The process kills them all. The younger generation ninjas find themselves in an uninhabited island in East Blue. Their chakra has gone. However they are able to gather another power called Haki. Blood lines are gone and Doujutsus cannot be activated. Those who had more chakra can gather more haki. The former sensors and doujutsu users are able to use Kenbonshoku haki to extraordinary levels. People like Sakura, Choji, Lee and the Hyuuga clan etc are masters of Bushoushoku haki. Only Naruto, Sasuke and Gaara can use all the three types though. Naruto who had more chakra than everyone else has more haki than everyone else as well. The island meanwhile turns out to be an uninhabited island where research was conducted by the World Government on humans and devil fruits. An explosion took place causing the death of all the scientists. The World Government conduct the research later on at Punk Hazard after abandoning the island completely. The ninjas learn about the World Government, Pirates and Devil fruits from the facility. The form a civilization under Gaara deep within the island.

They also form a pirate group to earn money and to understand the new world. The pirate crew includes:

Naruto (captain), Sasuke (first mate and swordsman), Sakura (medic and archaeologist#2), Hinata (navigator#3 and cook#2), Tenten (sharpshooter), Shikamaru (strategist), Ino (treasurer, medic#3, cook#3 and navigator#3), Chouji (cook and shipwright#2), Rock Lee (shipwright#3-considers maintaining the ship as training), Karin (medic#2 and navigator#2), Temari (navigator- knows wind better than anyone), Kurotsuchi (shipwright- knows earth better than anyone), Choujuro (swordsman #2), Jugo (navigator#4 and shipwright#4), Suigetsu (swordsman#3), Samui (archaeologist) and Konohamaru (cabin boy and apprentice)

In the research facility the find two devil fruits which were given to Naruto and Sasuke. The choice of devil fruits is entirely upto you. I've already prepared a list of devil fruits. Upon accepting the story I'll give you my list of fruits. Also Naruto and Sasuke had enough ability to take on Kaguya, who was a Goddess. They have as much haki as they had chakra...in other words they are going to be over-powered characters capable of fighting on par with Whitebeard and Shanks.

Naruto becomes an Emperor in the New World as well and claims many islands as his territories. The Yonkou thus become the Gokou. Naruto maintains good relationships with the Revolutionary army, WhiteBeard, Shanks and Hawkeye.

Pairings are up to you...though I would prefer if there were no NaruHina, NaruSaku or SasuSaku...there are enough of them already. You can give the other members of the crew devil fruit powers as well. I have a whole list of suggestions you can choose from...if you need any help, simply PM me. I'm ready to help...I'll even try to help as beta if necessary.

4)NARUTO THE MUSICAL NINJA SWORDSMAN- A Naruto x One Piece crossover

We all know that years before the biju and Kaguya, there was a great tree known as the Shinju. What if the Shinju was not an entity that existed since the beginning of time?

Years before the Shinju existed, the World was filled with many islands. The Islands were a part of different seas known as East Blue, West Blue, North Blue, South Blue, Calm Belt and the Grand Line. A particular strip of land known as the Red Line crossed the entire world dividing it into so many different parts. The world was filled with pirates and the era was known as the Great Pirate Era. A pirate known as Monkey D Luffy became the second pirate king after Gol D Roger after reaching the final island on the Grand Line, Raftel. The world had lived with the idea that the One Piece was a treasure. One Piece was not a treasure but a plan. A plan to use weapons like Pluton, Uranus, Poseidon and others to destroy the Reverse Mountain. Luffy had to fight a war against the Marines to access these weapons and destroy the Reverse Mountain and he was successful. All the seas met in the place of the Reverse Mountain and the All Blue was formed.

Several people during that time where in the possession of powers they had obtained from fruits known as the Devil Fruits. Centuries after the great Pirate Era, people decided to throw these devil fruits away into the All Blue, and make sure that no more monsters ever existed. All those in possession of Devil Fruits were caught using Kairouseki and terminated. Their devil fruits were all thrown into the All Blue in the hopes that no one would ever get their hands on them. Little did they know that they had missed one Devil Fruit user. Afterall who would suspect a skeleton have devil fruit powers. They all had forgotten about the oldest member of the Pirate King's crew, who had eaten the Yomi Yomi no mi and made his spirit immortal, Brook. Everyone thought that he was dead already.

Centuries later, all the devil fruits accumulated at the All Blue began to combine and formed into a gigantic monstrous tree known as the Shinju. The Shinju looking for nutrition and land spread its roots to all corners of the globe and began to frag all the land that it could find closer and closer, till they all became one big speck of land known as the Elemental Nations.

Brook who had been immortal was still alive even after all this time. But tired of everything and tired of fighting, he had merely stayed away from everything in a forest. Animals knew not to venture anywhere near his location unless they wanted to be cut into pieces. He was residing in the darker half of the Forest of Death.

Six Year old Uzumaki Naruto in whom the Kyubi had been sealed was once again running from a mob that was chasing him on his B'day. The mob had chased him into the Forest of Death. It was about 11 in the night and he could see nothing, but Naruto continued running till he finally collapsed. When he woke up, he realized that he was in the middle of a forest. Not knowing in which direction the village was, Naruto continued walking around. He was lost. Little did the child know that he had just ventured to the dark side of the Forest of Death. No one ventured into this part of the forest. No animal or ninja went to this part. That part of the forest was supposed to be haunted. Years ago, the strongest man since the Rikudou Sennin, the First Hokage, Senju Hashirama, who was also known as the God of Shinobi ventured to into this part of the Forest. He came back a day later shivering in fear. For several days, he stayed in his bed muttering just one word, Ghost. Hashirama had met the spirit form of Brook who tried to be polite with him. Hashirama was scared and tried to fight Brook using his Mokuton powers, but it was Brook in his spirit form, so Hashirama's attack passed through him. Brook shouted, "How rude!" before the spirit disappeared and soon a skeleton came up, Hashirama recognized the skeleton as the same spirit he tried to attack. The skeleton pulled out his katana. As soon as he did that, the part of the forest surrounding him, began freezing up. Hashirama thought he was seeing the Shinigami and ran for his life back into the village. While Madara and Tobirama didn't believe in ghosts, they knew that whatever that could get someone like Senju Hashirama so shaken up was not something they should mess with. Ever since then the part of the forest where Brook resided was considered 'Haunted'.

Young Naruto ventured into this half of the forest and met Brook. He was scared and thought he was dead. Naruto then tried running away but was too hungry to run. Brook took him into his cave and fed him. Naruto soon came to his senses and thanked Brook. Brook saw a little bit of Luffy in Naruto. He knew that this kid would change the World forever just like his captain did several millennia ago. Brook decided to train the child. He began teaching the kid the forgotten nuances about haki. As it turned out the boy was indeed capable of using all three types of haki just like his captain. He also taught him music and sword fighting. After a few days, he helped Naruto reach home. He then ventured into Naruto's apartment using his spirit form and began teaching the kid how to sing, play instruments and fight.

Brook soon learnt about the Kyuubi and confronted it in Naruto's mind. Even the Kyuubi was surprised to learn that a creature far older than him was still alive. Hiruzen though surprised to see Naruto with a musical instrument, never questioned it, because he played it really well. Also Naruto's music had the ability to change people's emotions. After Naruto became a genin, Brook left Naruto with his katana and violin and left forever saying, "My life is now complete!"

Naruto's music can revitalize people, make people sleep and put them in a genjutsu. He has excellent swordsmanship abilities like Brook and can use all three types of Haki to great effect. His mastery over haki also makes the kyuubi respect him. I know Brook doesn't have haki yet in One Piece. But I expect him to have one someday. He is afterall going to be the Pirate King's nakama and if Ussop can awaken Kenbonshoku no Haki, why can't Brook.

Naruto will have the Haoshoku no haki. I know it is a haki of the chosen ones. But Naruto is the child of the Prophecy. If he can't have one, no one can. By the way haki is a forgotten power, so no over-powered villain will ever have it. Not even Kaguya or Zetsu.

5)NARUTO THE PHOENIX SLAYER- A Naruto x Fairy Tail x slight One Piece crossover (no need to know One Piece)

This is a Fairytail (mainly) x Naruto x One Piece (slight) crossover. Naruto is a kid who has lost his memories completely. He wakes up all alone in the middle of nowhere. The only thing he knows about himself is that his name is Naruto Uzumaki. Suddenly a winged bird of blue fire appeared in front of him and asked him about himself. The winged bird was the last Phoenix slayer and his name was Marco and like Acnologia, who was a dragon slayer that became a dragon, he was a Phoenix slayer who became the last Phoenix as well. He turned into his human form and decided to pass on his powers to Naruto since he was getting old and his magic had already become a lost magic. After teaching him all about his powers, Marco passed away and he had Naruto plant his Lacrima inside Naruto's body making Naruto a third Generation Phoenix slayer.

Naruto's powers include:

1) Flight at awesome speed.

2) He can turn into a Phoenix anytime he wants.

3) He'll recover from any injury instantly by covering the injured pert with his blue flames.

4) Vision of a Phoenix: He has extremely powerful sensory skills. He can sense an attack before it arrives. Like Kenbonshoku no Haki.

5) Shield of a Phoenix: He can create an armor coating on any part of his body. He can use this as a weapon to enhance his strength or as an armor to lower the effect of the attacks against him. Like Bushoushoku no Haki.

6) Voice of a Phoenix: He can release his presence upon his enemies. Those who are significantly weaker than him immediately lose consciousness. He can't use this power any more than two times a day. Like Haoshoku no Haki.

He joins Fairytail after saving Lisanna. Choose your own pairing as long as it is not yaoi. He is about Mira's height and age. Natsu refers to him as an older brother. He is Laxus' rival in the guild. He is S-class and the second Ace after Gildarts. Also I'd rather not have him disappear with the others during the Tenroujima incident. Let Naruto become guild master instead during this time.

Kurama teaches Naruto a power that existed before even the Rikodou sennin, a power known as Haki. Haki cannot be used by chakra users. Naruto learns how to use kenbonshoku, bushoushoku and haoshoku haki and becomes the only haki user in the ninja world. Naruto however isn't the fastest person around and cannot travel like a ninja. He has to be carried around by a ninja in order to keep up. Humor scenes could include Naruto being carried away by his younger sister or her classmates, who are all taller than him and being embarrassed about it.

The Akatsuki meanwhile struggle for a long period of time looking for the Kyuubi's jinchuuriki and eventually come to the conclusion that it is Mito. They don't even suspect Naruto since he is a male. Only Jira, Hiruka, Mito and Naruto know who the real Jinchuuriki of the Kyuubi is. Dani (Danzo), Ororo (Orochimaru) and the Akatsuki believe that Mito is the Jinchuuriki.

Favorite animes (Not in order of preference):

1)Naruto: An amazing story of a ninja as he grows from a rather hated and lonely kid to the strongest, most dependable shinobi. I love the touch of emotional element along with the brilliant action and comedy scenes throughout the series. The training scenes are also well depicted throughout the series. The amount of sweat, determination and hard work necessary for Naruto to attain his goals are very well captured and is truly inspirational. The music also gels brilliantly with the scenes. The one criticism I have for the series is the sudden changes in plot that Kishimoto brings into the series famously called Plot no Jutsu in several fan-based sites like Obito's soul going into Kakashi giving him a perfect pair of Mangekyo Sharingan and a complete Susanoo telling him to be the Rokudaime Hokage before handing over the mantle to Naruto who will become the Nanadaime Hokage. And then Obito's soul disappears completely from inside Kakashi taking his doujutsu along with him. (I have no idea how Kakashi will become Hokage without the Sharingan. Without the sharingan, he can be an awesome jounin. But lets face it everything awesome that Kakashi has done throughout the series was with the Sharingan like the Kamui or the Susanoo. Hell, he can't even do the chidori without it as it leaves him open for a counter-attack.) A major flaw in the anime are the filler arcs. The filler arcs in Naruto and Naruto shippuden are extremely long and boring. You can't help but hate them. Its worse when they appear out of nowhere in the middle of the war arcs, like the chikara arc. The Anbu-Kakashi filler arc wasn't too bad. But I hated that they suddenly bought it in the middle of the war.

2)One Piece: The story about an idiot conquering the greatest sea filled with the most powerful pirates. The mixture of comedy and action in the series is off the charts. The best part about the series is that pretty much every good guy in the series is an idiot or atleast has some major flaw (except for maybe Rayleigh and White Beard). The concepts of Devil fruit powers and Haki are totally mind-blowing. It was an awesome idea to give Luffy a rather relatively weaker devil fruit like Gomu-Gomu no mi. I for one, thought it was a joke having someone with Gomu-Gomu no mi powers trying to conquer the Grand Line filled with Logia, Paramecia, Zoan and Mythical Zoan type devil fruit users. Now however Luffy has Gomu-Gomu no mi further enforced with his Bushoushoku Haki which is incredibly strong. His devil fruit powers have become the perfect boost necessary to make his Haki even more stronger. His mastery over Kenbonshoku Haki and Haoshoku Haki is also awesome. I can't criticize the series one bit. Its awesome. Though Oda will have an extremely hard time maintaining its awesomeness. The filler arcs in the anime are nice and not too long. I think the longest filler arc is about 6 episodes or so. The series is no where near complete and should go strong for atleast another 10 years.

3) Bleach: A slightly dark but interesting story about a 17 year old kid becoming a shinigami. The action scenes in the series are top-notch. The dark music combined with the action scenes are a treat to watch. However the anime is better than the manga in this series. The starting is also kind of dull till the soul society arc. Ichigo's character is kind of stupid but is still admirable. The anime is not without flaws either. There are too many filler arcs in the middle that appear out of nowhere in the middle of the canon. Before you watch the series, you have to make sure that you've organized the fillers and the canon properly. The filler arcs are pretty good too. Post the defeat of Aizen or the Arrancar arc, the series becomes rather dull. The full-bringer arc was rather boring even in the anime and it pretty much bought about the end of the anime. The Quincy arc that is going on is okay. Its better than the full-bringer arc, but not as good as the Arrancar arc in my opinion. Maybe if they could make an anime for this final arc of the series, it would be great.

4)Code Geass: One of the best animes of all time. Yet another must watch for all anime fans. Like Death Note, the intelligence level in the series is beyond amazing. The way Lelouch uses a war as a chess board and soldiers as pieces is brilliant. The idea of Geass is also amazing. Like Yagami Light in Death Note, Lelouch Vi Brittania is also a character that we end up loving and hating at the same time. The same however applies to arch-nemesis, Suzaku Kurarugi as well. You can't help but hate Lelouch for killing Euphemia and you can't help but hate Suzaku for his naivety in killing his own father which ended up with his country being colonized and then becoming a soldier to rise up in the ranks. Both the first half and the second half of the series are just equally brilliant. But where I truly rate Code Geass better than Death Note would be the climax. The ending just leaves you wanting for more and with a tear in your eyes.

5)Death Note: One of the best animes of all time. A must watch for all anime fans. The intelligence level in the series is beyond amazing. The mind battles between Yagami Light and L is thrilling indeed. The cruel intelligence of Light who is cunning, brilliant and careful makes you love and hate the character at the same time. The Shinigamis in the background are a bit creepy to watch but are still none the less interesting. The very idea and the rules of the Death Note, which is a book that can kill you is brilliant. However the first half of the series is better than the second half. Also the way the series ended was kind of disappointing. The death of Kira was expected in the end, but compared to the intelligent moves and master-strokes used throughout the story, the last master-stroke was a disappointment.

6)Full Metal Alchemist: Yet another outstanding anime. The story about two brothers who are prodigies in the field of alchemy who become soldiers, travel together and finds themselves in a war against an immortal and his army is brilliant to say the least. The story has a mix of everything including comedy like Alphonse being mistaken as the Full metal alchemist instead of Edward, the height jokes on Edward, Roy Mustang's rain weakness and the antics of the Armstrong siblings. The anime has two editions: Full Metal Alchemist and Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood. I prefer the Brotherhood version. It is yet another anime that makes you laugh and cry.

7)Detective Conan: One of the oldest animes ever that is still running. The story about a high school detective who is caught by a mysterious organization and fed a pill that shrinks him is quite amazing. The story starts of well with the young detective living with his crush, whose father is a low level private detective himself. The young detective with tools he got from his professor friend, Dr. Agasa helps solve so many mysteries and turns the girl's father into one of the best detectives in the country. His sense of justice, his love for Ran and the care and devotion he shows for his friends makes Kudo Shinichi or Edogawa Conan a lovable character. The one criticism I have for the story is the slow pace of the story. The manga began in 1994 and is still running strong after 20 years and is nowhere near over. The anime is still running as well. It is really funny though that even after 20 years of normal human life during which Edogawa Conan has solved well over a 100 mysteries, he hasn't grown an inch or gone up a grade. The story is so slow paced that it could easily run another 20 years. The mysteries are also sometimes very hard to understand for non-Japanese people as so many of those mysteries involve words or letters in Kanji and different dialects spoken in different parts of Japan.

8)Mirai Nikki: A true thriller. This story about diaries that can see the future and the diary users being a part of a battle royal is thrilling to say the least. The story of Yuki Amano and his crazy Stalker, Gasai Yuno as they fight their way through many challenges is scary and brilliant. While Yuki Amano is just an ordinary character, i.e a naive pathetic school kid with hardly any friends and writes a diary about his day in his cell phone is not special at all by any means, the character of the main female lead, Gasai Yuno, who stalks Yuki everyday and writes a diary about Yuki's day in her cell phone is truly scary and mysterious. Gasai Yuno's ruthlessness when it comes to protecting Yuki till the very end is scary and her total lack of morals when it comes to ensuring Yuki's safety makes every guy hope that he has no female stalkers.

9)Monster: A less heard of and talked about anime but one of the best I've ever seen. Monster is about a Japanese doctor who works in Europe and hunts a serial killer who was once his patient. The doctor who believes that it is his responsibility to kill the serial killer whose life he had saved when the latter was a child becomes a fugitive running from the police in different countries while venturing into the mysterious past of the serial killer (the monster in the title) and his identical twin sister. The story is thrilling, exciting and scary at the same time. The serial killer who killed so many by simply talking to them and using nothing but mere words is scary to say the least.

10)Fairy Tail: One of the most popular animes around. Fairy Tail takes you to a world filled with Mages, Guilds and Dragon Slayers. It is totally hilarious with every character being an idiot just like in One Piece. The characters Natsu, Lucy, Erza, Gray, Elfman, Makarov, Gildarts, Cana and Mirajane can make you laugh endlessly. The action scenes are also quite brilliant. With so many different arcs, its safe to say that Fairy Tail is nowhere near over. The main criticism I've got for Fairy Tail is that it is too similar to One Piece. Not only are the characters powerful and idiotic, the comedy and even the art is very similar to One Piece. Another criticism I have for Fairy Tail is that the characters are not really growing strong. There hasn't been a major power up or training for Natsu or anyone else for the matter.

My favorite pairings in Naruto:

Well anything but Naruto-Hinata and Naruto-Sakura. I hated the way Sakura treated Naruto at the beginning of the story and hence no way for NaruSaku. But that said, I believe Naruto needs a strong woman to keep him in line at all times, so no Naruto-Hinata either. I mean Hinata is a character that faints every time Naruto says something. Also she is a stalker. Ever since I saw Mirai Nikki, I've hated stalkers. Another reason I hate Hinata is because she used to stalk Naruto and hence was aware of his loneliness and still did nothing to help him out. I've begun to be more acceptable of her since the Pain arc. I admired Hinata's willingness to sacrifice herself to save Naruto from Pain and also when she slapped Naruto who was kind of out of it after Negi's death. But I'm still against that pairing even though it was the final pairing unless it is Road to a Ninja Hinata-Naruto pairing.

In fan fiction, I generally like Naruto-Ino or Naruto-Tenten (Kishi wasted her character really. I mean we still don't know her full name) or even Naruto-Temari or Naruto-fem.Haku pairings. I also tend to like Naruto being paired with older women like Anko or Yugao or Kurenai or Mei sometimes.

I like Naruto-Sakura and Naruto-Hinata pairings only when romance is not the main genre of the fic. i.e if the fic is more along the genre of adventure and humor with romance being a side stuff like maybe a lemon or two or just one off chapter. I sometimes like them when they are part of a harem.

Opinion on Harems: Sometimes its good. But too many girls and it gets boring. Max of 2 or 3 girls. I'm a one woman man and I feel that Harems are disrespectful to women.

Opinion on Yaoi and Yuri: Don't mind it at all. Sasuke-Naruto is probably the best pairing out there. Naruto is obsessed with Sasuke and if anyone can keep each other in line, its each other. I like Male Haku-Naruto pairing as well. Every hot blooded guy enjoys girl on girl porn. So Yuri is not an issue. But the story should be guy centric.

My favorite pairings for One Piece:

Well anything goes really as far as Luffy is concerned. The one thing weird about Luffy is that he doesn't show any attraction to females. I mean the guy literally saw, Boa Hancock naked and didn't have a boner. How gay is he. But that said I'm against Yaoi in One Piece. Why? There are far too many super hot girls in One Piece than in Naruto. I mean Nami, Nico Robin, Tashigi, Hina, Boa Hancock, Nojiko, Jewellery Bonney, Monet, Baby5, Violet, Rebecca, Shirahoshi, Camie, Margurite, Aphelandra, Suba-Suba no mi Alvida...the list is endless. As a guy, I would be pissed if Luffy goes for some guy after ignoring all these girls, even if it is someone amazing like Shanks, Sabo(incest), Zoro or Sanji. No Yaoi in One Piece.

Luffy-Nami: That would be a great pairing. He let her wear his hat. Nobody else is allowed to touch the hat. She can also keep Luffy in line unlike the others.

Luffy-Robin: I don't mind like Luffy-Robin. But she is too tall for him. She is also way too old for him. She is atleast 10 years older. She is more like an older sister kind of person for Luffy. Robin hasn't showed much emotion aside from the Water-7 arc where her past was revealed and at Enies Lobby, where she asked Luffy to save her. After the time-skip, Robin only showed emotion when she was pissed after Law exchanged Chopper's and Franky's characters and Franky started talking like himself in Chopper's body. But its hard to tell if she can keep him in line

Luffy-Hancock: I like Luffy-Hancock as well. Even though like Robin, she is too tall for him, she was truly devoted to him. She carried him on her back into Impel Down as he attempted to rescue Ace. She gave him the key to Ace's handcuffs during the War. She saved him from Smoker. She protected him from the Pacifistas. She let Law come to Amazon Lily to heal Luffy. She let Rayleigh train him in peace and didn't interfere for Luffy's sake at Ruskina. She took him to Shaboady after his training. She helped him escape the marines as well at Shaboady. Though I don't think Hancock can keep Luffy in line. She can boss any guy in the World but Luffy. She lets Luffy boss over her.

My stories:

Recreating Peace: I'm currently having a writer's block there.

Brother of the Flash: I've finished the story in my head. I've a clear picture of what I want to do, but the lack of reviews (just 10 after 3 chapters) has left me a bit disheartened.

The Mute Prodigy: I'm half way through with the third chapter. But I need more inspiration. I need to read some more excellent regular Naruto stories to inspire me again into typing out the story.

The Strong Fist Naruto:What inspired me to write this one was the Naruto Shippuden episode featuring Gai's 8 Gates. The current filler arc has ruined my interest. I also need the help of a co-author for this story.

The Yellow Flash of the Marines: This is the story I'm most interested in and focused on at the moment. I love One Piece. The idea of writing Naruto as a Marine is not new, but its hard finding the balance between strong and God-Like.

Story types that I like:

Most of the fics I've read and like to read are Naruto fics. Why? Because I believe that Naruto is the one character whose life had the most number of possible outcomes. He is also one of those characters who start of as a very normal character and end-up becoming an over-powered character through nothing but sheer training and hard-work.

1)I prefer Adventure stories best.

2)I like stories involving Family.

3)Stories about Friendship.

4)Stories with humor.

5)Stories in the above categories with a touch of Romance (Only a touch. Can't handle too much fluff.)

6)I like time-travel stories and dimension-traveling stories which have inspired me into writing my own stories.

7)I like Strong Naruto stories. Not too over-powered but decent enough. Stories where he graduates early or is an Anbu like Itachi by the time he is 13 or has a blood-line, but not stories where he is Kage level before teenage and has 2 or more blood-lines. Too many people like the Rinnegan and the SharinganMokuton stories. Not me.

8)I like a little bit of bashing stories. Especially Sasuke, Sakura, Kakashi and The council.

9)I like stories where Minato and Kushina are alive.

10)I like stories with a female Sasuke. Let us face it Naruto is too obsessed with Sasuke. If Sasuke was female, it could have been a lot different.

Story types that I hate:

1)I hate stories with a lot of Angst. I just can't stand depressing stuff.

2)Dark Naruto. I hate the guy and his stories.

3)Very very over-powered Naruto. There are some stories out there that make Naruto above kage-level shinobi before he has even graduated from the academy.

4)Weak Naruto. He is weak enough in Canon. Reading about weak Naruto will take a lot of patience.

5)I hate incest. Having a younger sister myself, I find incest nothing but gross. Yuck.

6)Out and out romance fics. It is just too girly. Especially if Hinata or Sakura are the lead. The only character I can stand in these fics is fem.Haku. He/She is a character I respect and felt shouldn't have died.

7)Female Naruto. Female Naruto is always paired with guys like Kakashi, Sasuke, Neji, Gaara etc. I can tolerate Haku...but the rest are a big NO.

8)Stories where Kami, Yami, Shinigami and all the other forms of God and Death God get involved unless it is a crossover with a manga like Bleach.

9)Non-Naruto centric stories. Naruto has to be the main lead.

10)Stories where Kyuubi or Kurama is female. The Kyuubi is a furry creature that keeps growling. When it talks its mouth doesn't move in the anime. It only remains open. People not only make Kurama a female, they turn Kurama into a total hottie with Naruto and Kurama having sex inside the his mindscape or sometimes outside with Kurama being able to get outside Naruto's seal due to some complicated cooked up reason.

11)Stories where Minato is Arashi Kazama. I understand that many thought that was his name till it was eventually revealed. But I hate it when Naruto's name is sometimes changed to Kazama Naruto and people keep referring to the Yondaime as Arashi...his name is Namikaze Minato god damn it.

12)Any story that has Menma in it. It started with Road to a Ninja movie. Now it has become a stereotype dark Naruto or duplicate Naruto. People even suggested that I rename Hakuza Itane as Menma. It won't happen because I hate that character and I hate that name.

13)Stories without proper summaries. You see the summary and then you choose whether or not to read the story. No one simply reads any and every story out there. I also hate it when authors make their summary so over-complicated. You just have to tell the basic gist of it. Not every little bit. A bit of what happens in the starting that changes the story from canon.

My favorite Anime characters:

1)Shanks: You just gotta love his easy going attitude, power and the respect he commands especially at Marine Ford.

2)Jiraiya: How can anyone ever hate our beloved Ero-Sennin.

3)Uchiha Itachi: The man's sacrifice is unbelievable. Can't help but respect him.

4)Uzumaki Naruto: Title character of the series. One of the best characters out there.

5)Monkey.D.Luffy: No character can ever make you laugh more. (except for Mr.Bean may be)

6)Urahara Kisuke: The real hero of the Aizen arc in Bleach. A brilliant genius with a great sense of humor and he is super strong as well.

7)Namikaze Minato: His fighting skills, speed and brilliance in battle is unbelievable. His fight against Obito and the sealing of Kurama into Naruto make him truly legendary.

8)Roronoa Zoro: A great fighter. A true swordsman. A man with goals. The only one in the crew who constantly trains. A man willing to put everything on the line for his captain. His scene with Kuma, where he jumps in to absorb all the pain that Luffy was going through in return for Luffy's life was amazing to say the least. At the same time his daily feuds with Sanji and his lack of direction will leave you laughing your ass off.

9)Black Leg Sanji(Kuroshi no Sanji): An awesome fighter and cook. A man who like Zoro is willing to lay down his life for the sake of his captain. A man willing to sacrifice his life rather than fight a lady. An awesome pervert. How can anyone ever hate the guy.

10)Yuki Haku: I don't care if Haku is a male or a female. Haku was talented, had a horrible life for no fault of his/her own, sacrificed his/her life for Zabuza, hated killing, had respectable ideologies and philosophies and very little screen time. Kishi should have paired Naruto with Haku. Haku would've been a better choice than Sasuke or Sakura for Team 7.
