Luz and Boscha have spent the past few days working on this, and it was almost done.
"Okay, time for the final ingredient." Boscha said, "Ashen powder. Remember Luz, this will make the potion stronger, but too much could make it explode."
Luz carefully crept up to the cauldron and sprinkled to the powder in and then covered her face. When no explosion happened, Boscha and Luz looked at the potion and saw it turn pink, and then, a pink heart shaped cloud floated up.
"Well, I think we finished it." Luz said.
"Y-y-yeah, and this time it didn't lead to... that."
Boscha pointed to the burnt wall with outlines of Luz and Boscha.
"Or that."
Boscha pointed to the ceiling with the hole in it.
"Yeah, that wasn't fun." Luz said, "But there's a saying in the Human Realm, third times a charm."
"Well, I guess there's some merit to that." Boscha said.
"So, what do we do now?" Luz asked.
"Well, we have to bottle it. Do you have bottles in this place? We can't show the teacher if we can't get it to the class."
"There might be some downstairs, I'll go check." Luz said, running out of the room.
Boscha waited a couple seconds before pulling the vial out of her sleeve. She placed it in the cauldron and watched it fill up. She put a cork on it and looked at it.
"Soon. Soon Luz will be mine."
Boscha put the vial in her sleeve when she heard Luz approaching.
"Okay, I have the bottles. You ready to bottle some love?"
"Y-y-yeah." Boscha said.
"Titan, she is adorable." Boscha thought.
They spent the rest of the afternoon filling bottles with the pink liquid. Boscha kept sneaking a couple glances at Luz, smiling each time. Boscha kept trying to find a way to sneak the potion into a drink for her to consume. First thing she needed to do though, was get Luz to her house.
"H-h-hey, Luz, do you... want to come over to my family's Manor tomorrow?"
"Sure! The only Manor I've been in is Blight Manor, so I would love to see another one."
"C-c-cool, anyway, I should get going."
Boscha walked out and ran back to her mansion. She got into her room and opened her journal. She flipped through the pages, which started with things about, "The Human is ruining my reputation!" and ended with things like, "The way Luz moved in Grudgby, I don't know how but it's like she was playing her whole life" and even some that are as forward as, "I have a massive crush on Round Ears". She flipped to an unused page and wrote down, "Soon Luz and me will be dating, take that Blight".
