Luz looked around in amazement.
"Wow! This place is amazing!" Luz said, "Is that picture frame made of solid gold?!"
"Yep, I'm part of one of the richest families on the Isles." Boscha said, "So, do you want to see my room?"
"Sure!"
Luz and Boscha walked up the stairs, which were easy for Boscha, she climbs them every day. Luz on the other hand, was panting and crawling up the fourth flight.
"I... think... this... is taller... than the... Miller Library." Luz said between breaths.
"The what?"
"It... the tallest... library... in Maine."
"What's a... Maine?" Boscha asked.
"It's a-"
"Alright, hold on." Boscha said.
She picked up Luz, bridal style and started walking up the stairs again.
"Continue." Boscha said.
"Maine is a state, it's where I'm from. Well, technically, I was born in Arizona, but my mom hated the heat, so we moved shortly after I was born."
Boscha continued to Luz's life story until she realized, she was carrying her crush, with Luz wrapping her arms around Boscha's neck. Her pink skin was the only thing that hid her blush... that and Luz's obliviousness. Outside, Amity was prepping herself.
'Okay, you can do this Amity. You're a Blight. You are strong, powerful, and determined. Okay, let's go!'
Amity summoned all of the strength in her body and moved herself... one inch. So yeah, doormats aren't exactly what you want when you need something that can move long distances.
'Damn it! I can't turn myself back and I won't make any progress at this rate! How am I supposed to prevent Boscha from giving her that potion!?'
Boscha put Luz down outside her door and went to open it. Boscha had that slam the door shut when she saw the painting she made a few days ago, hung on her wall.
"Uh, excuse me for a second."
Boscha opened the door and closed it behind her. She went over to the wall and took the painting down. Boscha is a very good painter, anything she paints looks very realistic, which is bad when you have a painting of her and Luz getting married hanging on her wall. She took it off, took it out of the frame, and rolled it up. She put it in her closet and opened the door.
"Well, welcome to my room."
"Wow, that's... a lot of trophies." Luz said, before coughing.
"Are you okay?"
"Yeah, those stairs just made me a little thirsty."
Bsocha smiled.
"I'll get you a drink."
She walked into the bathroom, summoned a cup, and filled it with water. She took out the vial and poured it into the cup. She swirled it until you couldn't tell there was anything in there. She smiled and handed it to Luz.
"Here you go, that should help."
"Thanks, Boscha!" Luz said, happily.
Luz drank it and Boscha smiled. Especially when Luz's eyes flashed pink, indicating that the Potion is taking affect.
