Roxanne stood outside the café that her cousins and she were going to have lunch. She watched people walking by. The café was in muggle London, and it was close to the Ally or if they decide to shop in muggle London they could. She saw Lucy first. There was a big smile on her face. Roxanne knew that her happy about marrying the man of her dreams. Roxanne knew Derek Bond was the right man for her cousin when he bought books for her instead of flowers on the first date.
Lucy hugged Roxanne. "Who do you think will be here first?"
Roxanne had to think about it. When Rose didn't have children, she was on time. Since she has had children, she was late. Lily had morning practice, so she could be running late depending on her coach. Roxanne was about to give her answer when they saw both walking together. Roxanne didn't see any of Rose's children with her and she was glad because this was going to be a girl's day.
They greeted each other before going into the café. It didn't take long before they were seated and order their food.
"I'm starving," Lily took a sip of her water. "Coach had us running doubles, he is worried that we wouldn't be ready for Spain next week." Lily rolled her eyes. She knew they were ready. England was number two in the world. Spain was sixth in the world.
"Me, too." Roxanne said. "I didn't have breakfast this morning."
The other three raised their eyebrows. "Doesn't your parents have food in their house," Lucy said. All three of them knew that Roxanne was spending her nights with Hector.
Roxanne rolled her eyes. "I wasn't at my parents. I have been spending my nights at a friend's house."
"Does this friend happen to be tall, dark, handsome?" Rose asked.
"Yes, it is better than sleeping in my childhood bed," Roxanne told them.
"I'm sure the sex helps too," Lily gave a sweet smile that Roxanne didn't trust.
Roxanne didn't fall in that trap. "I just need to find my own place," Their food arrived, and everyone started to eat their food.
Lily pointed her fork at Roxanne. "There is an empty flat in my building, you can check it out. I'll give you my landlord's number." Roxanne nodded. She saw a look in Lucy's eyes, and she was ready to ask a question. Roxanne had to stop her.
"What kind of dresses are you looking for?" Roxanne asked.
Lucy narrowed her eyes at Roxanne because she knew what she was doing. "As you all know," She looked the three of them. "My colors are blues and purples so something in that color scheme." The others nodded.
"Are we going to have to make sure that Rose's is bigger?" Lily smiled at Rose. Roxanne and Lucy let out a laugh. This was something that she missed when she was in New York. Lucy gave Rose a look.
Rose rolled her eyes at her. "Scorpius and I are done. We think that four is enough," Rose looked at Roxanne, Lily, and Lucy. "You know I am not the only one who is having sex. I mean Lucy has Derek, Roxanne has Hector, and Lily has somebody most of the time." There were small smiles on Lucy's and Lily's faces.
"I don't have Hector. We are…" Roxanne didn't know what they were. She knew that she spent every night at his flat and that she would be going back there after this. She could say that they were lovers but there had to be some feelings for the person. Roxanne knew she still had feeling for Hector, or they wouldn't be finding each other wherever they went. They had found each other in the Bahamas and there was the time of Fred's wedding or whenever one of them was in New York or England. The problem that Roxanne had was Hector was the person who broke up with her.
Roxanne saw Rose raise one eyebrow at her. Roxanne looked at the other two to see what they were thinking. She couldn't read their faces even those she knew them for their whole lives. "We know that what you and Hector have is complicated." Lucy said in a soft voice. "I think now that you are back in England and will be seeing him more and I just don't mean in the bedroom," Roxanne smiled at that. "I think that you have to decide on what you want."
Lily and Rose nodded in agreement. "We might joke about you and Hector, but we only want what is best for you." Rose said. Roxanne nodded. She nodded. She knew what they were saying.
Roxanne took a breath. "I don't know what to do. He was the one who broke up with me."
"It might be a conversation that you and Hector has to have," Lily said. Roxanne nodded. She understood what her cousins were saying. She was going to have to think about what she wanted and how much Hector was going to be in her life. Roxanne smiled. "Let's stop talking about my love life and focus on Lucy's happily ever after."
The others knew what she was doing. They turned the conversation back to Lucy's wedding. They spent the rest of lunch talking about what Lucy and Derek had planned for the wedding. After lunch, they decide to head to muggle London to look at dresses for the bridesmaid's dresses.
Hector glanced at the door one more time. He knew that Roxanne was spending the afternoon with her cousins. He wondered what they found for dresses. He was invited to the wedding as a friend of the bride. Even after he broke up with Roxanne, the Weasley/Potter family made sure to keep up with the friendships he created with them. He was glad for that. It was one of the reasons he started to invest in Hugo's dream. Hugo's dream led to Hector's dream. Hector had an online company that witches and wizards, could buy and send anything in the wizarding world. Hugo helped make Hector a wealthy man. He noticed a small article in the Daily Prophet.
"Last night the body of Thomas Goyle was found dead in his family home. It looked like he was murdered. The Aurors are not giving a statement at this moment. They are looking for clues to why someone would want to kill him. Goyle was working at the Department of Magical Transportation. He had just announced his engagement to Portia Randell. They are looking for motive for the murder. It seemed he kept to himself and didn't bother anyone.
Everyone he works with said he was nice and liked to get his job done before leaving for the day. Goyle left behind a mother, father, a younger brother, and finance. Let's hope they catch who did this to Goyle and his family."
Hector knew Thomas. He was a year ahead of him and Scorpius. Thomas' father was friends with Hector's father and Scorpius' father. Thomas kept to himself for the most part. He didn't want to be a drain on the world. It looked like he was going to get married. Hector didn't know who Portia Randell was or if they were happy in their relationship. The last time that Hector saw him was at a party that Hector's mother threw. They just gave each other a nod as they passed. Some part of Hector felt bad that he didn't know him better. Hector knew that he was going to have to make his regards to his family.
Hector heard the door open, he looked up, and set the paper aside. Roxanne came in to see Hector sitting in a chair in the sitting room. "I thought you had meetings all day," Roxanne set her bag down.
Hector smiled. He wanted her closer. "They ended early or were canceled," He watched her move closer to him. He saw that she was going to walk past him. He grabbed her and pulled her on his lap.
"Hector!" Roxanne placed her hands on his shoulders. Hector just pulled her closer. He didn't want to lose this.
After reading the article, he felt that life has no guarantees. There was one thing that he didn't want to lose, and she was sitting in his lap. He didn't want to lose her again and he didn't want what they had right now with her living with him while she was in England. He didn't want chance meetings like the Bahamas. He wanted forever with her.
He kissed behind her ear. "I think I should take you out for dinner," He leaned closer to her ear. "To your favorite restaurant."
Roxanne leaned back. "Can we get a table?"
Hector had a twinkle in his eyes. "I think so," There had to be a perk of being very wealthy.
Roxanne jumped off his lap, he tried to reach for her, but she moved out of way. "I have to find something to wear," She moved closer to the chair, placed her hands on either side of him, leaned remarkably close to him. "You can pick me up in two hours." She kissed him before backing away. She grabbed her bag and left.
Hector leaned back in his chair and moaned. He watched the door for a second before standing. He saw the paper one more time and knew life was too short. He grabbed his phone and called Roxanne's favorite restaurant. Once they knew it was him, they gave him a table right away. He turned off his phone and threw it on the counter, tonight was going to be all about Roxanne.
Hector knocked on the Weasley's door and took a breath. He didn't know why he was so nervous; he had done this before. The door opened and Angelina stood there. She looked Hector up and down with narrowed eyes. Hector stuffed his hands in his pocket. "Is Roxanne ready?"
Angelina looked in the flat. "In a moment. There is something I would like to say to you. I know my daughter has been spending her evenings with you, I hope you are treating her right."
"Yes, ma'am," Hector felt like he was seventeen again and he was picking Roxanne up for one of their dates.
"What are your attentions towards my daughter?" Angelina asked.
Hector opened his mouth to say his plan for Angelina, when he saw Roxanne come from the back. She was gorgeous in the tight blue dress she was wearing. She was wearing boots that went up to her thighs. Hector moaned to himself.
"Mum, leave Hector alone," Roxanne stepped around Mum. "I'll see you later," She grabbed Hector's hand.
"Several days later," Hector heard Angelina mumbled. He smiled to himself and let Roxanne lead him out.
They entered the restaurant and saw how crowded it was for a Friday. Roxanne gave him a look that he only smiled at. He made his way up to the host, who smiled when he saw him. "Mr. Zabini, we have your table ready," He picked up two menus and led them to a table, set for two. The host held out a chair for Roxanne. Hector took his chair. "Wine," Hector ordered a older wine that had Roxanne raise her eyebrow to him. She waited until the host left before saying anything.
"You already know that you are going to get in my pants tonight, so I don't why you bought that wine," Roxanne turned back to the menu.
"Because I can," He said. He wanted to tell her that he had come up with a decision about where he wanted their relationship to go, and he wanted it to go. He wanted to see her walk down the aisle on her father's arm. He wanted to watch her grow with their child and be there when they enter the world. He knew he would give her anything if she only asked for it.
The host returned with the wine and gave them a moment to try it before taking the bottle. The host left them to order. He watched her as she looked at the menu. He didn't know what to ask her because most of their time together was them in bed. The last time they had a real conversation was the night before her brother's wedding and that was two years ago.
"Why did you decide to return to England?" He asked her.
Before Roxanne could answer the waitress came and took their order. "I guess I wanted to be closer to my family. Everyone is married and having babies. I wanted to be a part of that. I missed England," Roxanne wanted to add in there that she missed him too. She had a feeling that it would bring some old feelings up and she was ready to have this conversation. Hector nodded. "How is your business doing?" She asked.
Hector told her how his business was growing and what he wanted to do with his business. They started to share stories about they missed in the last two years. They stayed away from pass lovers that they had. It seen a subject that they always avoided, but they both knew that the other was with someone. Roxanne would hear it from Rose and Hector would hear something from Scorpius or Fred.
"I have a favor to ask you," Hector smiled at Roxanne. They had just ordered desert to finish off their night.
"What do you want," Roxanne knew when he wanted something.
"For you to come with me to Ariadne's wedding in August," Hector gave a sheepish smile.
"Ariadne is getting married to that man I saw her with," Roxanne was shocked. She always thought that Hugo would get out of his ass and ask the girl to date him, but then she thought that her relationship with Hector would be something different than what it was. Hector nodded. "Wow," It was the only words that Roxanne could get out. "I'll go with you," She said. She wanted to meet this man that stole Ariadne from her cousin, she did know that Hugo was at fault with this too. Ariadne didn't want to wait anymore.
They finished desert. Hector held out his hand for Roxanne to take. "The evening is not over yet," Roxanne gave him a look to see what he was up to before taking his hand. He led her outside and to a place where they could disappear from.
They entered the flat. "Let me pleasure you," Hector said as he unzipped her dress from behind.
