The door opened and Luz stood on Amity.
"Thanks for coming over, Honey." Boscha said.
Luz placed her hands on Boscha's hips and the two shared a kiss, which Amity saw with complete ease. They separate and Luz starts to walk away.
"See you later, Babe." Luz said.
Boscha saw Luz walk away and looked down.
"Oh, right, I forgot I turned you into a doormat." Boscha said.
Boscha made a spell circle and Amity started to turn back. She sat there as Boscha smiled.
"How's that feel Blight? How's it feel to be dumped? I bet-"
Boscha was cut off when Amity hit her across the jaw, not a slap, a full on right hook that would make Muhammad Ali cower in fear. She fell to the ground and saw a furious Amity. Boscha was picked up by her cowl and pulled close.
"Listen here, Triplet. I don't care if you have her under a love potion, I will get her back."
Amity shoved her down and stomped away. She waited until she was out of Boscha's sight before she stopped. She felt her eyes start to release the tears she was holding in. She started running and didn't stop until she made it to her manor. In the living room, Odalia and Alador were reading. They heard the door close, fast footsteps, and crying. They looked in the direction of the stairs in time to see Amity's feet and hear her door slam shut.
"I believe this is a female problem." Alador said.
Odalia sighed and got up, making sure to lightly smack him on her way to Amity's room.
"Lazy bastard." She said.
"If our bedroom could speak, it would certainly say otherwise." He said.
Odalia rolled her eyes and walked up the stairs. This is the first time she's had to do something like this without Luz observing her.
"Oh, Titan give me strength." She knocked on the door, "Amity, darling, is everything okay?"
She didn't hear an answer and opened the door. She saw Amity crying into her pillow and Odalia knew something was wrong. She walked over and sat on the edge of Amity's bed. She ran a hand through Amity's hair and did something she's never done. She pulled Amity into a hug and let her cry until she couldn't anymore. She cupped Amity's face and wiped the last few tears away with her thumbs.
"Are you finished?" Amity nodded, "Good, now tell me what happened."
"B-B-Boscha happened. She gave Luz a love potion and now they're together!" Amity said.
Odalia thought about it for a second before standing up.
"I'll be right back." After a minute, she returned with a book, "As a kid, you were obsessed with other forms of magic. Perhaps it's time to go back to that."
She handed Amity the book and Amity looked at it.
"Advanced Potions, 1990 edition." Amity looked at her mom, "Where did you get this?"
"The Owl Lady gave it to me when we were your age." At the confused look, Odalia explained, "Did I never mention that we were friends. Where did you think your father and I went on poker night?"
Amity looked between the book and her mom.
"You want me to do a magic form that I don't do, which I could get in trouble for, all so that I can make a reverse potion for Luz?"
"I never said that, I just said that you should be interested in other forms of magic, there are nine other covens, apart from Abominations, after all." Odalia said, winking at Amity.
Odalia left and Amity looked at the book. She put it in her bag, put her bag over her shoulder, and walked out the front door.
