Four months later

"Another one" a man said as he watched a car pass by

Cloud watched as the car passed, it was a good thing that the walls of the town were so high so he could see everything that was going on outside of the town and avoid the strange looks strangers gave him.

A lot of things had changed after the stampede for one people started moving into the area around Nibelheim, normally this wouldn't have been a problem, but if cloud had to explain it.

None of the new arrivals were exactly friendly.

these were people that had either been forced to move because their villages or towns had been affected by the drought - been overwhelmed by monsters or destroyed by some natural disaster.

He even heard some of the hunters talking to each other and heard that some of the new arrivals were people that were kicked out of their homes by the Shinra Corporation.

On one hand, this was all good news for the hunters because it meant a lot more work had suddenly shown up, on the other hand, a lot of the new arrivals wanted to be allowed into the town, but the town wasn't big enough to let them live in and when those people heard the mayors answer they got angry.

Luckily the mayor had thought ahead and hired some of the hunters to guard both entrances to the town so the troublemakers didn't cause any real problems.

Then another issue happened the new arrivals demanded to be allowed to live near the river, but the river belonged to Nibelheim.

Cloud didn't know the details but from what he heard from Kazuma was that the new arrivals weren't fighting to have water, no they just wanted to make sure that the people of Nibelheim didn't have it out of spite.

In the end, the mayor sat down and talked to the hunters, and they all said that if the newcomers were going to mess with the river then they wouldn't defend the newcomers from the monsters.

At least that was what Aqua said when she told his mom, Cloud didn't know how they were going to keep other hunters or soldiers from showing up and defending the newcomers but no one has shown up yet and monsters keep gathering around the river so most of the newcomers have been forced to move away from the river.

"So whatcha looking at?" Tiffa asked him as she walked up to him

"..."

"Remember when the monsters were invading?" Cloud asked Tiffa as he turned around and lifted his right hand

"Explosion!" cloud screamed, but nothing happened

Blue six let out a confused sound as it moved its head and looked at cloud.

Cloud could see Tiffa shaking her head as she looked at him.

"That's Kazuma's strongest spell, and he hasn't even taught you how to use it, you don't even know how to make fire come out yet," she said to him as the sound of a car passing by became louder before completely disappearing.

"So what brings you over here anyway?" Cloud asked Tiffa as he remembered that she was still looking after her mom.

"Mom told me to go out and play so here I am" tiffa answered him before she took a pose that looked similar o the one Aqua made when she stood behind Kazuma.

"Heal! - buff!" she imitated Aqua before blushing and turning her attention to the town.

There were a lot more people now, some were hunters, others were the usual people that lived in the town and a lot more were newcomers that used the town's shops to buy the things they needed.

"You know, I know it's been a while but I can't forget that day, all of the hunters and how powerful they were and amongst them there they were Kazuma and Aqua side by side" Cloud as he remembered what he saw.

"One moment they were there, then they were there"

" Aqua heald the hunters but she never bothered to look around, because Kazuma was a blur keeping her safe" Cloud said to Tiffa then Tiffa stopped him

"Yeah but you know Kazuma did the same thing," Tiffa said to Cloud as she remembered what she saw

Kazuma created water, but the moment it made contact with a monster he immediately froze it and used his sword to kill the monster.

Yet he didn't stop there, she remembered how Kazuma immediately unfroze the water and made it into an ice pike and used it to pierce another monster before making it explode hurting a bunch of other monsters.

Then Aqua arrived healing the people that were injured fighting the monsters, but she used her powers to heal Kazuma and make his exhaustion vanish

"They rely on each other, Kazuma and Aqua protect each other, but Aqua heals everyone while Kazuma protects them" Tiffa says to Cloud
