Luz ran through darkness, trying to get away from the creature chasing her.

"Get away!" Luz screamed

She tripped and landed hard on her face. She looked up and saw the creature standing above her. Luz held out a hand.

"I-I-I'm warning you... I have fire powers!"

Luz closed her eyes and shook her hand, trying to get a simple spark. She wasn't able to get anything out of it. She heard a voice.

"Luz."

Luz looked up and saw the creature morph into Amity. A very injured Amity. Her skin was practically grey, covered in massive gashes, her mouth had blood coming out of it, her left arm was practically ripped off, only holding on by a few muscles, her right arm was the only thing keeping her internal organs from falling out of the massive cut on her torso. The big thing, was her eyes were missing, she only had empty eye sockets.

"Amity?"

"Why, Luz? Why did you fail us?"

"I-I-I... what are you talking about?"

"Y-y-you were supposed to be our savior. You were supposed to a God. You FAILED us!"

Luz got up and started to walk backwards.

"I... I didn't fail." Luz said, "I didn't-"

Luz fell into a large pit that appeared behind her. She rolled down the edge and landed face first on to something soft. Luz covered her nose from the smell. She looked at what she landed on and immediately screamed and jumped back. It was a mass grave, filled with the residents of the Boiling Isles.

"W-w-what's going on?"

One of the corpses she recognized.

"W-W-Willow?"

Willow's corpse turned her head and looked at Luz. Luz noticed that half of her face was missing skin, it showed her skull with an eye hanging out of its socket.

"Why, Luz? Why did I have to die?" Willow asked, "I thought we were friends."

"W-w-we are."

"Friends don't let friends... die."

A hand grabbed Luz leg and she screamed. More corpses grabbed her and started to pull on her. All repeating the same line, "You Failed Us" as they start to pull her down into the pile of mangled and destroyed corpse.

"No! No, no, no, no!" Luz said, "I didn't fail! I didn't do anything!"

When her head was the only thing left above the pile, she heard something large. She saw a massive creature standing over the grave. It raised its foot and held it over Luz. It slammed it down and then... she woke up. Luz shot up and screamed. She held her heart and felt sweat run down her face. Luz looked down and didn't look anywhere else until she heard the door open.

"Luz, are you okay? I heard you scream."

"I... I'm fine, Eda. Just a nightmare." Luz said.

"I think I know how to help with that." Eda said.

Eda picked Luz up and walked back to her room with the young God slung over her shoulder. She put Luz in her nest and laid next to her. Luz snuggled into Eda and Eda ran a hand through Luz's hair.

"Sleep tight, Luz." Eda said, "Mama Owl will protect you."

"Thanks... Eda." Luz said with a yawn.

"Us birds have to stick together."

Luz fell asleep, not having a nightmare this time. In the Castle, Lilith was getting her arm set so the healers could put a healing glyph on it.

"I can't believe I was injured by that annoying child." Lilith said.

"Belos isn't going to like this." Golden Guard said.

"What do we do now?" Lilith asked.

"I have an idea. We can release a wild demon on her."

"She could easily beat it." Lilith said.

"Not if we do it somewhere that is full of people... like Hexside."

"But... what about the students?"

"They aligned themselves with the only person that can stop the Day of Unity. They made their choice, they have to deal with the consequences."
