Claudia placed her hands on her forehead as she felt a headache coming, her house had been one of the places that had been destroyed during the stampede, but it had only taken Kazuma and Aqua an hour to put it back together and somehow make it bigger.

She was now the proud owner of a six-bedroom house, that had a kitchen, a dining room, two bathrooms, and a balcony she could use whenever she just wanted to relax.

Yet she hadn't been the only one whose house they had fixed, it was easy to tell whose houses the two had worked on because they were either the tallest in town or the houses were wider than they had been before.

There was a couple of issues that had come up because of this.

because the two had fixed the ruined houses so quickly people that were looking forward to the much-needed work became jealous and complained to the guild, and because neither Kazuma nor Aqua had informed the guild about what they were doing the guild simply told those people there was nothing they could do.

As for the mansion, the Shinra corporation was quick to come in and tell everyone that they were working on fixing the problem so that it never happened again.

Then there was the other issue, because of Aqua's newly acquired fame the girl didn't lack any number of suiters that attempted to woo her.

Kazuma however remained the same except for several women that were far more flirtatious and made no attempt to hide that they only saw him as a passing fling.

It was there that the problems began for her.

Claudia had believed or wanted to believe that Kazuma didn't see her as a woman, considering Aquas stories f how he would look at his past teammates.

Yet lately she could feel the man looking at her with the eyes of a hungry beast, that was ready to knock her down and feast on her.

Claudia placed her hands on her cheeks as she tried to make those thoughts go away, after all the man in question was currently looking at her behind while she cooked something to eat.

The problem is that he isn't alone and Aqua is just as oblivious to the situation as always.

She had to admit that the thought that Kazuma might arrive drunk or return home alone one day and take advantage of the situation didn't occur to her and she hoped that he had the strength to deny him what he wanted, but a part that wasn't too deep decided that she would struggle against the man's wishes for a brief moment before remembering that she was still a woman.

No, she had to stop herself from imagining it, Aqua was here and she obviously loved Kazuma.

Claudia felt her head hurt and she serve the two their meal before taking her seat next to Aqua.

The moment she sat down she felt the strange mood the two hunters had before she looked at the two and realized they wanted to tell her something.

"Hey ' Kazuma began before a knock on the door stopped him from continuing

Claudia rose from her seat and walked towards the front door and when she opened it she found herself looking at a tall man with short hair stood in front of her.

'Excuse me but I'm looking for this woman and this man" he showed her a picture of Kazuma and Aqua

Claudia exhaled and said "Sorry but they don't live here anymore, people kept looking for them so they left"

The man just looked at her before frowning and saying to her.

"Maybe this will get you to tell me the truth," he said before a large black wing grew from his back.

Claudia felt her eyes widen and her heart threatens to burst out of her chest as she felt the man's presence grow to the point he felt like a giant, but the man hadn't changed at all, he just had a black wing on his back.

'You're dying" Aqua said to the man as she walked up to him

'can you help me?" he askes her but Aqua just shook her head

"See, your wings are black because you are two people that don't know who they are," she says to him as Kazuma walked up to them

"What's going on?" he asked before looking at the man's wing

'Fall angel- the son of a god or something that no one wants to talk about"

'Yes" Aqua answers Kazuma

"What can you do, there has to be something," Genesis said to Aqua as his voice grew more and more inpatient

'I can heal you, but it's like taking medicine, your going to have to find me when you start to feel bad again" she says to him before placing her hand on his wing.

Claudia watches as a blue glow spreads from Aqua's hand and enters the black wing.

"You have two options accept your fate and die as the Human you are o fight it and die as a monster," Kazuma says to Genesis

'And what do you know?" Genesis says to Kazuma as he feels himself losing all of the pain that was always there.

"A lot of things" Kazuma answers him as he allowed all of the skills Wiz and Moy taught him to manifest themselves

Claudia watched as both men looked at each other and as Aqua let go of the stranger's wing and walked back to Kazumas side the man seemed to have a look of sadness spread over him.

"Why can't I be chosen like him," Genesis asked Aqua

"because Kazuma was first" Aqua answered Genesis who immediately flew away

Genesis cried for the first time in years, had he just been born earlier he would have been the one next to her, he wouldn't have to have felt the pain that was overwhelming him all of these years, had he just been born earlier.

He wouldn't have been cursed as he was now.

He stopped flying when he noticed that he wasn't the only one flying and whoever was following him was catching up fast.

'Leave this place" the stranger says to him as he points a gun at him

'I'm leaving" Genesis says to the stranger

'What does Shinra want with the goddess and her partner?" the stranger asks him

"Isn't it obvious, the same thing they always do" genesis answers him

'I on the other hand just came to get my medicine" he says to the stranger as he notices blue feathers growing from his wings.

he notices as the stranger lowers his gun.

"Sorry, but I have been watching them and the only thing they want is t live in peace," the stranger says to him

genesis smirks.

'then it seems you and I will be working together from now on" he says to the stranger

Vincent" the stranger introduces himself

'Genesis" genesis introduces himself o his new partner
