[ Change ]

The three of them listened to the men walk into the bathroom as Aqua walked out of Hachiman's room, Yukino couldn't help but notice that Aqua looked completely different than what she normally looked like.

Her change wasn't one that a person could describe physically, no the air around her was completely different, it was as if Aqua had become a completely different person.

It was as if the young woman that always had a smile on her face and did whatever felt right and the woman that stood in front of her were two different people.

The Aqua she knew, had an ever-present sense of joy, and the air around her was welcoming, so it was easy for her and anyone else to approach her.

Yet the blue-haired woman in front of her was the very peak of what one thought about when they thought about someone from high society.

Yukino swore that in the time that it took Aqua to walk out of Hachiman's room and meet them in the hallway, she had somehow become all too aware of the curves Aqua has, the way she walked, how her skin didn't have any flaws.

And how she and those with her couldn't compare to the blue-haired woman.

Then just as briefly as this version of Aqua showed up, she was gone, the moment the blue-haired woman stood in front of her and their two hosts, she was back to being her usual self.

The woman was gone and all that remained was the happy girl she had come to know.

They all stood in the hallway for a moment, none of them knowing what to say until Hachiman's mom finally spoke.

"Let's go to the kitchen and get something hot to drink," she said to them, before leading the group to the kitchen.

Hachiman's mom graved four cups filled them with water from the tap and placed them in the microwave.

"So Aqua what's your relationship with Kazuma?" Hachiman's little sister asked Aqua.

The way that she so freely asked that question was something Yukino couldn't have imagined herself doing immediately after meeting someone, yet the young girl in front of her had done just that.

"Kazuma, well we're supposed to be married, but he hasn't bought me a ring and we haven't had our wedding yet, plus he hasn't met my mom"

"So fiance, I mean we are living together" Aqua answered Hachiman's little sister in her usual carefree way.

They all turned around and noticed that Hachuiman's mom had suddenly tripped but was now looking at Aqua with wide eyes and an opened mouth.

"Sorry," she said to them as she quickly regained her composure and stood up.

"We met one day, let's just say Kazuma... well... he wasn't in the best place in his life and I was a bit of a spoiled brat," Aqua said to Hachima's sister as she began to remember

Yukino couldn't help but notice the smile that Aqua usually had, had suddenly become slightly wider as if she was remembering a big event that was firmly placed in her life and nothing could make her forget it.

Hachiman's mom handed each of them a hot cup of coffee and after thanking her, they all had their attention on Aqua.

"I remember how he just dropped in one day, lets just say my family has a rule that if a person somehow manages to bypass security, they can ask for anything they want, and then we kick them out"

"Kazuma, Kazuma threw everything I gave him onto the ground and pointed at me"

'I want you, nothing else will do except for you. So he stole me away from everything I knew and we traveled the world together"

Aqua said to the three girls she had hanging onto her every word as she remembered how Kazuma had somehow figured out a way to take her from heaven and force her to help him in his adventure.

"So he kidnaped you" Hachiman's little sister sad to Aqua who just laughed.

"Yep, but rules are rules and Kazuma chose me over everything else" Aqua answered her before taking a sip from her coffee and giving everyone a smile they would find themselves remembering from time to time.

"You know, we slept in barns worked in construction, and learned how to hunt as well as a lot of other things"

"That guy made me go through a lot of things, we met people I will always consider friends and we ought things that I never thought I could fight"

"It's because of him that we can even talk right now if I had never met him. I would still be alone with one day is no different from the day before and the next day being the same as yesterday" Aqua sad to them

They all sat quietly and drank their coffee never knowing that just around the corner both Hachiman and Kazuma had heard everything Aqua had just said.
