Luz walked into the Owl House and saw Eda drinking Apple Blood while watching something on her crystal ball.
"You're home early." Eda said.
"School is under repair, so it got canceled." Luz said, "I'm just here to get changed to hang out with my friends."
"Alright, go change, have fun, try not to set something on fire." Eda said.
Luz ran upstairs and got her uniform off, she reached for her hoodie when her hand froze. She just stared at it before lowering her arm. She walked over to the chest and opened it.
"Time for a change." She said.
She put on a dark red t-shirt, black jeans, a black trench coat, black combat boats, and black fingerless gloves. She looked in a mirror and smiled.
"Not bad, I look pretty good in black." Luz said.
Luz walked down the stairs and out the door, Eda still watching the Crystal Ball. When the door closed, a news report popped up.
"This is Perry Porter, at Hexside, where, moments ago, a large demon attacked the school. This could've been far worse had it not been for a girl known as Luz Noceda, now known as the Phoenix."
Eda facepalmed.
"Damn it, Luz."
Luz walked around the Market, looking for her friends.
"Okay, Luz, just look for them and explain your powers." Luz said, "Oh, how am I going to explain my powers if I can't even understand them?"
Luz kept walking around until she found Willow, Gus, and Amity.
"Guys! Over here!" Luz called.
The other three ran at her and hugged her.
"Luz, there is so much to talk about!" Gus said.
"You're the Phoenix!?" Willow said, "Do you have any idea how incredible that is?!"
Luz facepalmed, knowing that she had to change the subject, pretty quickly.
"Yeah, we can talk about that... or we can talk about how I have a girlfriend!" Luz said, motioning at Amity.
Amity blushed heavily as Luz grabbed her hand.
"When did this happen?" Gus asked.
"About ten minutes ago." Luz said, "Now, let's go set something on fire."
"No!" Willow and Amity said.
"Yes!" Gus said.
In another part of the Isles, Lilith and Golden Guard were discussing the newest plan.
"The way I see it, if we get rid of her friends, she won't have anyone to back her up." Golden Guard said.
"So, we remove them from her life." Lilith said.
"No, we remove them FROM life."
Sorry it's short, the next one will be longer. I just can't handle this week. In case you don't know it, my grandmother died on Monday, and you know what happened yesterday afternoon? My aunt died. I lost two people in less than four days, how am I supposed to deal with something like that?
