Luz woke up and rubbed her eyes. She got out of Eda's nest and walked down the stairs, where she found Eda in the kitchen.

"Morning, Kid." Eda said.

"What time is it?" Luz asked.

"Eight fifty." Eda said, "You been asleep for about sixteen... seventeen hours."

Luz was surprised, did she really sleep that long?

"Now, sit down and eat up, I have a lot planned for you today." Eda said.

"What?"

"Kid, you are the Coven's number one enemy. Like I told you yesterday, you need a lot of training in order to be ready. Luckily, your little friends have agreed to help with that."

"Eda, I don't want to fight my friends."

"It's not fighting, it's training, there's a difference."

"What's the difference?"

"In a fight... you would try and kill them." Eda said, "Which will probably happen one day, who knows."

"Eda, I don't want to kill someone."

"I didn't either." Eda said, "Sometimes you don't get a choice."

Luz didn't press further; she knew that Eda had parts of her past that she didn't want to talk about, parts that affected her in bad ways. But Luz knows Eda would never kill unless it was necessary. Eda placed eggs in front of Luz.

"There, eat up." Eda said.

Luz started to eat while Eda went to the other room. She was nervous and there wasn't anything that could stop that. Her sis- Lilith was trying to hunt Luz down, and it was only a matter of time until she got desperate. There was a knock on the door and Eda opened it, knowing that it could only be Luz's friends... she hoped. She opened the door and saw Amity.

"You're the only one that showed up?" Eda said.

"I tried to call Willow and Gus, but I can't reach them."

Eda kneeled in front of Amity.

"Get inside, now."

Amity got inside and Eda closed the door.

"What's going on?" Luz asked.

"That's what I'm trying to figure out." Eda said, "You can't reach the other two?"

"No, I even went to their houses, they aren't there and their parents are terrified." Amity said.

Eda had a thought, but she wanted to eliminate a few other options first, just to be safe. In another part of the Isles, Lilith dragged an unconscious Gus into a cage.

"There, now there is only one to go." Lilith said, "And she shouldn't be too hard to get."
