Peter laid on the bed of his apartment. Unable and unwilling to get up after going through the meeting last night. Even with the day being Saturday and giving him time away from his studies and classes didn't offer him much confront. Which is made worse by own his personal team meeting after going through all the information Jameson provided him.

A few hours earlier at the heilcarrior

'So…you are telling me that your friend Flash is not only the son of a world famous fashion and cosmetic designer but a legendary crime boss?' Gary stated in shock. While rubbing the back of his king brown hair.

'He also had access to all my gear and got an in depth analysis of my spider powers' Peter lamented while leaning deep into his chair. While Gary just shook his head in disbelief.

'Dame man…so what are we going to do? Gravity asked. but Keener slammed his hand on the table.

'How about starting off in making me the leader?' Harley demanded while staring down at Peter with complete scorn and disappointment. 'It is obvious that anyone getting themselves dope in twice by his own rogues gallery shouldn't be in charge of a position meant for adults. I mean given how much they know about you Pete. You are pretty much a liability at this point'

Parker then looked at his defiant teammate with a gloom yet unreadable expression. But then let out a deep breath and got up from his seat.

'…Flash may have gotten access to a lot of my stuff and my powers…but not everything and as far as Fury said before. This could be used to our advantage. By giving the bad guy's false information, setting up a trap for them and hopefully find out exactly who they are working for' Peter explained but Harley scoff at him.

'Oh, come off it Parker. We don't need to do any of that to get that info. All we need to do is capture Flash interrogate him on everything he knows like the enemies' base, their leaders and connections. Go bust them out in the open and take down this cross dimensional terrorist syndicate once and for all!' Keener explained rapidly while lashing out at the spider-hero. But Parker just shook his head.

'Keener we don't know how deep Flash is in on this. For even if we did interrogate him...He wouldn't necessarily know were said base is. Since he could just well just be low ranking lackey. Not only that but even attempting to interrogate Flash could very well sent red flags to the rest of the bad guys and ruin whatever chance we have in tracking and taking them down' Parker argued evenly. Yet Harley still remain unconvinced.

'Really Pete? You think the bad guys' The iron-lad quoted the word bad by with his fingers. 'Would just instantly know we have have Thompson interrogated? They won't even tell the difference!' The Harley mocked but this only made Peter narrowed his eyes in disproval.

'Harley…you cannot assume that. These guys are able to make themselves undetectable by Shield an international spy organization design to track down guys like that and Thompson maybe the only real lead we have. If we were to just jump the gun on this. Without even bothering to think ahead. We could lose this one chance in not only taking down my personal rogues gallery but whatever organization that supplies them' Parker countered while Keener just continued to scoff at him.

'Is that that so? Because from what I'm seeing and hearing. You are still willingly to give your friend the benefit of the doubt and keep defending him! Instead of just doing the obvious and getting it over it! Keener snapped at Peter.

'Honesty it's a wonder why someone like you is even part of this team to begin with. Let alone let alone put in charge of leading it!' He continued to spat. But Parker in spite of his own impatience and anger at Keener's attitude remain calm.

Which only made Harley even more frustrated and then glared towards Gary who immediately back from away him.

'I mean you agree with me right...what's your name Gravity?' Haley spoke menacing as he walked towards the blue and gray suited hero. 'On how we all could just grab Thompson and make him squeal all he has?'

Gary then remain silent to Keener. Then stared towards to Peter and sighed.

'Look Harley…I get that taking in Thompson and questioning him would be the simplest thing to do and I would be all in for it…but given the situation we are now in. Being simple may not be the best way to go about It' Gravity explained carefully and Keener fumed.

'I mean it's not like it matters much. After all there is nothing stopping us from taking Thompson in anyway after we set our trap or whatever for the bad guys'

Harley then narrowed his eyes with a betrayed yet hatful expression. Before scoffing and Turing his head away.

'Find whatever we will play your game Parker. But the moment you fuck up and you most likely will. I am taking charge. To hell whatever Nick fury says!' Keener declared with a shout, before exiting the room and out of sight. Leaving both Peter and Gary alone with their thoughts.

Even after the hours past Peter himself was unsure if he made the right call or not. After all is it really based on assumptions that the bad guys would know the moment he and his try to interrogate Thompson…but then that doesn't mean they don't have any means to know.

After all this is the same gang who have access to possible worm-hole technology. Going by the sound and readings from that recording he heard. Meaning that they could be anywhere on either earth or anywhere in the vast cosmos of the universe and likely part of an evil alien empire that threatens the earth. Like the Kree or even some remnants of Thano's black order. Meaning that the best way to gain that information is capture not Thompson but one of his personal enemies and interrogate them.

Though that still leaves the question how?

It had already been discussed by Fury that that they can give Thompson false information. But even he would have do it in a way that feign innocence in order to avoid suspicion and not only that they would have to form counter measure when the super-gang do attack him and try to exploit his weakness with the information Flash provided for them.

However given that the Avengers are in a group of teams who are ordered to stand next to each other at all times. The gang will be unlikely to gang up on him and hopefully he can use that to make a recounter to whatever they have to disable his powers and abilities.

Peter then form a plan in his head and nodded to himself. Knowing that while he will have to remake some of his gadgets he showed to Flash. There were other gadgets that he didn't get to see. It was the best opportunity he think of and one that would hopefully get him the best results. With the only thing left to do is to relay his plan to Nick Fury, the Avengers, his teammates and hopefully everything will go off without a hitch.

Meanwhile at downtown New York.

While drinking some coffee at a local Starbucks. Keener leaning his chair in a sour mood. Still tick off that he would have to take orders from a kid and not only that, but being reduced to nothing then a figure head by the Avengers themselves, his own teammates. Who should be welcoming him with open arms! But Instead he was humiliated and shun. Like he was the unwanted kid, like he was the one that needed to be discipline, train and made to follow orders like a... sidekick.

The nerve of those people, even when he went out of his way to save their sorry excuse of a reputation and how people like Norman and Jameson didn't suck up to him and didn't learn to stay in their place. If it were him, he would have captured Thompson and make him squeal everything he knows. But then again maybe seeing Parker's plan blow up in flames on its own would be far more satisfying. After all If the web-head's so called plan or whatever he comes up fails. It might served as the final nail in the coffin to make them realize their mistake in Peter and give him Harley what he actually deserves.

Keener then smirked to himself. Really hoping something would happen…only for it to turn sour as another thought entered his mind.

'But what if Peter's plan did succeed?'

Harley then shuddered as he gripped and shook his fists. Knowing full well that if that was the case. Then his chances of being the head of the avengers would be render moot. With him being reduce to noting then more a dancing monkey for the public's eye and the hero's publicly.

No. As far as Harley is concerned Peter is the leader in named only and he will not be shown up by an insecure, gullible brat. Who already got himself played by his personal enemies more than once! He will find this Flash Thompson make him spill everything he knows about the criminal gangs, those who support them and everything else that he can get out from him. Keener just needed to know where that spoiled rich boy lives or hangs out at. After all, given his own professional skills in networking and social media. He would be able to find and interrogate Thompson by right before dinner.

Or that was what Harley thought and proceed to set into motion…until he notice someone in the café and upon recognizing them his smiled cracked into a opportunist grin. Now realizing that wouldn't take till dinner time to interrogate Flash.

He could have it right now!
