Eda made it back home and saw Luz pacing back and forth.
"Geez, Kid, you need to stop before you start digging through the floor." Eda said.
"I can't help it! My friends are getting kidnapped because of me!" Luz said.
"Don't worry, we'll find a way to get the back." Eda said, putting a hand on her shoulder, "We'll get them back. Just be glad your little girlfriend is safe."
Hooty came in with the mail.
"Hey, look at this anonymous letter addressed to Luz! Hoot!"
Luz to the letter and began to look over it.
"Pheonix, we have your- why did they use cut out magazines to make this?" Luz asked, "That's just an overused thing to do. We have your friends and if you don't come and surrender yourself to the Emperor's Coven, they will be publicly executed."
Luz felt anger boiling in her. She had to stop herself from catching fire and burning the house down. She kept reading.
"You have until the end of the day to arrive before they are taken to the Emperor. The location is on the back" Luz looked at the back of the note before burning it, "Eda, I'm going to the Knee."
"Wait, Luz, you can't surrender to the Coven! Who knows what they'll do to you?!"
Luz burned the note.
"Who said I was surrendering?" Luz asked, as her eyes turned orange and red, "Who's to say I'm not making bar-b-que?"
Luz walked outside and Eda saw her jump and fly away. Eda walked to the couch and sat down to think.
"How did Lilith managed to get that Blight girl? That manor is locked down tighter than the Emperor's Castle, I would know, I tried to rob them." Eda said, "And she just walked in like the doors were as open as Odalia's legs!"
"Isn't she Amity's teacher, Hoot?" Hooty asked.
Eda's eyes went wide, she had completely forgotten about that. Eda grabbed her staff and ran outside. She took off and went to the Knee, hoping to catch Luz before she does something crazy. Luz landed on the Knee and looked for a cave. She found the one they're in and walked inside. She found a note and grabbed it.
"I hope you enjoy your ending." Luz said.
Before Luz could do anything, a metal door shut, locking her in the cave. Luz looked and saw several items that she quickly realized what they were.
"Great, they have bombs."
Eda managed to land and ran to the cave when the doors were bent from a massive explosion. She was sent back and landed on her back. Her ears were ringing and her vision was blurry. Eda sat up and looked at the destroyed doors with smoke coming out. Eda stood up and stumbled her way to the door.
"L-L-Luz!"
