Pokémon: Wings of Beginnings
Chapter 10: Back in Action
May 13th, 2020
6:25 a.m.
WINGS HQ
Pentaster floated above the flooring of the corridor. It was rather early in the morning, but he wanted to make ascertain of the update of status. Today is the day, after all...
Soon, he stops in front of a door, typing on the electronic keypad beside it.
Midway through the input, the door opened. "P-Professor!" From the room, stood Iggy. He was already fully dressed for missions from his appearance...
The old starfish stopped with the typing, looking at Iggy. He had no facial expression, but Iggy knew that he worried and tired for working the past few days non-stop once that news hit.
"Had you heard about the news about Giant Chasm?" Pentaster asked.
"The Giant Chasm?" Iggy asks.
He folded his arms. "What happened, Professor?"
"There laid the remains of the Legends Zekrom and Reshiram." Pentaster explained. "A meteor fell down there since ancient times and the people of the nearby city nearby constructed a wall to prevent that Legend from prey on them at night. But now, news of it melting came about like the light travels the world. It is because that Legend is missing."
"It's... missing?" Iggy asks.
A nod.
"Without him, the Pokèmon who lived there won't survive long. It is a miracle that the Swords of Justice were there, they were evacuated and groups from the Champion came to help them survive."
"That, Professor..." Iggy murmurs. "That Pokémon just can't disappear out of thin air..."
"It had to be something else." Pentaster suggested. "If it is true, there was a battle before his disappearance. Based on the reports of cold winds being more frigid than before."
"That sounds right..." Iggy agrees.
"Whatever the case, we need to find that missing Legend." Pentaster looked at him again. "Where do you think you're going, young monkey?"
"...On missions?"
"..." he smacked him lightly like how parents discipline their children in Eastern Countries. "You are still too young, do this when you are older than 25 and not recovering from being bedridden."
"Professor..." Iggy mumbles, touching the spot where he was hit.
"Go back to bed and have at least 7 hours of rest." Pentaster ordered. Iggy sighs, looking down while mumbling.
"What was that?" Pentaster asked sternly.
"...Nothing..."
Pentaster nodded and watched as Iggy went back to his room. He went on ahead and looked around.
Still about an hour until morning... Still some time before everyone could wake up. He then began working for today's mission and any equipment and supplies ready. He moved a bit some more before stopping.
"...You're there, Commander."
After some silence, he hears one flap of a pair of wings before seeing a large shadow by the distance. From there, Gardious is seen approaching Pentaster from his location.
"Up this early? You know something about the disappearance of Kyurem?"
"I have suspicions, but they are more likely true." Gardious responds, stopping beside Pentaster.
He flips through a file he had and stopped on an entry, passing it to Pentaster.
"...Arctic Avian?" Pentaster read, looking back at him. "They were myths but seems they are true."
"...Yes." Gardious answers. "It is able to manipulate the form of ice, if the old reports state true." He looks back at the entry in silence. "Capable of freezing entire cities." Pentaster continued. "However, Magic today is weaker compared to the Age of Old, making it impossible for it to exist...Unless..."
"...Unless a source comparable to magic is served as its' amplifier." Gardious finishes.
"...Kyurem..." Pentaster dreaded. "It must had used Kyurem. He was called for his powerful ice powers, stated to be comparable to magic."
Gardious nods. "At best assumptions. If we locate it, we locate Kyurem."
"We need to hurry." Pentaster went to the communications with Gardious following from behind.
At the arrival of the office, they could see Zakh having his left arm on his forehead while tapping with his right hand. There is water by the side of his table, and based on the appearance, some aspirin had been put in it.
"Stor, could you pinpoint this Dulled's location?" Pentaster hastily showed the file to him. "It should hold high magical concentrations similar to Old Magic." Zakh lifted his head to turn and after a passing of several seconds, took the file and nodded. "...Sure thing. I'll focus on these..."
Gardious looked at his rather groggy state and back at the water. "...Nightmare, I presume?"
Zakh was silent before a nod came through. They watched his left arm go over to clutch where his right arm flesh stump ends. "...I'll be fine." He mutters softly.
"Alright then." Pentaster nodded. "I may not be the one who made those but never hesitate to ask of what you feel."
"...I'll take that advice."
He looked over and typed on the keyboard to spot what should be found. "Give me some time. There are some clustered signatures..."
There were nods from the older higher ups while he scanned the entire world for the location of that Dulled. He eyed them carefully, as to not to let them out of the scan's location.
Garduous turned to Pentaster. "Well, we should get back to our work until we receive an update."
"Of course." Pentaster nodded. "It's a good thing my species don't require much sleep. We could just hope we could find it on time."
Gardious nods in response. There is a certain possibility that lives are already being threatened by the Arctic Avian.
They then moved out of the room as Zakh analyzed the screen. "You got a job to do... keep focused..." Zakh rubs the sleep out of his eyes. Working early in the morning and sometimes not getting enough sleep or getting stressed out... It took a lot of his time and focus that he didn't know that his partner slithered near him and spotted what should be done. She smiled and inputted some parts.
"Wha-he-!" He turned around in a blur to meet her eyes.
"I am here to help, I just took a nap yesterday so I'm ready to go at any time~." She sang while she helped input some tasks, going over the area of the region, Unova. "They said that a few days ago, Kyurem was missing. I know what they meant." She went through the intel gathered and calculated the distance. "The neighboring regions are way too far to reach. So that means, it should be somewhere...Here!"
Zakh looks at the location, fixing both normal and mechanized eyes onto where Safka pointed. "Damm, it's already making its' way across the area where most call the Entralink?"
"So that means..." Safka began.
"The path states that it will likely cross through Unova's Route 5, then towards Castelia City..." Zakh explains, reading the predicted path.
"Okay, there we have it." Safka smiled and looked at him. "You've been finding them for half an hour and there you have it. Sending them to Commander and around WINGS. Job done."
Zakh nods and breathes out, leaning against his seat.
"Anyways, my services aren't for free, remember? It should be paid in full." Safka reminded.
Zakh shot her a look. His face heated up in embarrassment before giving a resigned grumble.
"Okay, prepare for this, my hubby~"
"...Hubby-!?"
She dove in and their mouths connected. She kissed him and held him close while her tongue made its way in his mouth. This was what they called a French kiss, a very passionate form of kissing. A sweet taste of poison trailed into Zakh's mouth, it tasted great. Addicting and enticing like chocolate. He wanted more of that taste...
His Ability was rare from his species: Toxic Boost. He, unlike most other Zangoose, can be envenomated. But while the poison can take effect, it boosts his capabilities to deal more impactful blows.
Sucking in his pride, he shut his eyes and returned the kiss to her...
"Um..." Came a feminine and robotic voice. Based on the tone he called, he was nervous. "Was I interrupting something? Can I come in later for this job?"
Zakh quickly shot a look over, his face reaching high levels of red. "Th-thi-"
Over there was a large silver being with red trapezoid-shaped mechanical eyes with black sclerae. His body was disc-shaped with five yellow spikes around his body, one between his eyes that resembled a nose and two at each side. He had a pair of arms the hang down, each having three claws. He float above the floor while reading a pamphlet he held with his claws.
"I am Iron Polarize." He introduced in this rather awkward moment. "I was among the recruits until they've noticed my low combat capabilities that I was assigned as communications assistant. May I-"
Zakh shoots over to Safka and quickly turns back to Iron. "Quickly say it! You can work here! Just get out after this!"
"Alright, sir and miss..." Iron replied while he wanted to know what were his superiors' names.
"What else do you want!?" Zakh demands.
"Your names...?"
"Zakh Stor! Just say Stor!"
"And I am Safka Necrome~ Isn't my hubby cute when he's embarrassed?" Safka sang happily.
"Oh...You two are married, I see." Iron muttered while he blushed.
"Wha-NO!" Zakh screams.
"Alright, I'll look forward in working with you two." Iron bowed and left the room.
"...What?" Realization soon hits the feline and he begins shouting again. "We're not married!"
"We will, you made that promise back when we were younger." Safka reminded. "And we have a Shiny Metang to join us. Shinies are really rare."
"...What the hell did I just say!?" He exclaims before murmuring. "And a Shiny Pokémon is very... uncommon... wait. Is this conversation derailing right now!?"
"Come here, hubby~"
"Agh!"

10:45 a.m.
WINGS HQ: Calming Center
The sound of water rushing down onto solid matter echoed cleanly around the room. This very room, the Calming Center, was focused onto deep concentration to enhance focus of surroundings and objects. Perhaps even a bit of epiphany. The environment itself was more of akin to being in a serene jungle with crystal clear water.
"I'll never get so into all that water..." Brandt mumbles towards Gray and Luigi, the three drying themselves with towels.
"Well, Sensei's pretty good at this sort of meditation, isn't he, ya'ow?" Gray asks, flushing out water that was caught in his ears.
"Indeed, being part Water-type and being exposed to the elements all the time." Luigi agreed while he wiped the water off his torso and wrapped the towel around his waist.
"How long has he been under that, ya'ow?" Gray asks.
"Other than since he started this meditation session?" Brandt says.
"More like two days." Luigi answered. "He just stopped to train the students and returned here."
"That long!?" Gray exclaims. "I never saw him leave, ah!"
"Maybe it's because you didn't see him leave by not being there?" Brandt tells Gray.
"It's really insane." Luigi added. "Sensei must had undergone so much training."
"Yeah..." Brandt agrees.
"But that makes him our sensei, ya'ow!" Gray exclaims rather loudly.
As Luigi nods, he hears a squeak. "L-Luigi!"
"Hm?" He turned to the voice. "What is it?"
It was Fran, now blubbering as he stared at the dragon in front of him. "I-I, u-um, s-someone... meet-eet..." His pointed antennae kept on waving side-by-side through his stuttering, face heated up.
"Hm?" Luigi placed a claw on his hips. "Someone?"
Some incoherent blubbering before Fran responds, "Y-Yes!"
"Who is that someone then?" Luigi asked.
"T...Tr...Tr..." Fran looked back at Luigi, the red coming around his face more evidently. "...T-Turtle!"
"Turtle?" He looked to the side to see a female Torterra hiding from one of the trees. She appeared to be embarrassed as she held something to hide them.
Fran nods hastily, tilting his head slightly down.
"So, what is it you want her for?" Luigi asked with a smile. "And it is nice that you made some new friends outside of our usual team."
"U-um, y-yes..." Fran responds, eyes fixated down. "A-and... mi-mission..."
What was on Fran's attention the entire time which Luigi is unaware of is his figure.
He looked down at his own attire. It was his usual: short-sleeved shirt and shorts. Doesn't cover much, but still not enough for others to see he is a male. All they literally see is a timid and fragile 'woman'.
With his shorter upper torso and large lower torso, he had a pear-shaped body size. A pretty one at that, more beautiful than any women that they would want a perfect figure as his. Fran wondered if this body was a gift from the Gods or a curse.
He didn't know... But he knows well it's mainly this figure responsible for many assuming he is female. He was fortunate that this was a mixed gender room for them to dry themselves so he was also allowed to join the other females here. However, he needed to remember that he had a mission to do.
Fran began to steady himself, looking back at Luigi... and having to remind himself of the half-naked appearance his adopted elder brother has while exposing most of his well-built body sans his waist area. That defined figure of scaled pectorals and abs...
He always wondered whether he had that figure when he first came to WINGS and saw him as a Gabite back then...
"Fran?" Luigi snapped him out of his thoughts. "Is something wrong?"
Fran jolted. "N-no! Nothing!" He squeaks.
Shaking his head rapidly, he speaks with assurance. "I-I'm fine, Luigi!"
"...Alright then." Luigi eased down before he turned to the hiding member of WINGS. "Gaian, someone's looking for you."
The Torterra peeks out from the tree she did her best to hide her lumbering figure. "W... Who...?"
"Fran, you remember him, correct?" He replied. "He's also my adopted younger brother."
Treant nods. "Y... Yes... met him... when he came over..." she mumbles softly, refusing to budge from her spot.
"What's wrong?" Luigi asked, wondering why this beautiful Torterra won't move.
"I... Mmm..." she began to mumble. Then, she was suddenly hit hard by the side, causing her to gasp and lumber into view.
"HOLY-! E-e-e..!" Brandt screeched.
"YO!" Gray exclaims.
"Ah...!" Luigi gasped and his face turned purple upon seeing them. He was glad that he wore some shorts underneath that towel.
"Um... She..." Fran stutters.
Treant's face turned red as she laid in front of her... Her enormous breasts were pressed against the floor, they moved about as she tried to get up and bounced nicely against the floor. She looked at the one who bumped at her, a Shiny Metang who rushed out of the room and into the drying room after a session of running himself of cold water.
"Cold! Cuh-cold! Icy cold!" The Metang exclaimed loudly. Treant mumbled more as she tilted her head over to the Shiny Metang. "I will never! Never try to go in cold water again! Lesson learnt!"
He looks over at Treant. "Those are huge br-lah!"
He was cut off with a stomp on the ground... and hammered by a sudden wooden stump bursting from the ground, sending his body whirling across the other side of the room. Treant blushed at this while trying to remember who that Metang was. What was his name again? He was among the two Shiny Metang she saw before when she was recruited.
"...Mmm... Iron? No..." she mumbles to herself. "Polarize... Polarize..."
"...Blitz Polarize!" The Shiny Metang's voice announces from where he is driven into the wall.
Blitz...Right, the other brother. Was he the younger or older one? However, she knew about his below average intelligence in the intelligence test but high combat and physical prowess compared to his brother, who was the opposite: scored high in the test but scored the lowest in combat.
It's like they handled the other's weak link. Brains and brawn put separately.
Treant looked back at the group while she tried to hide her breasts. She looked around, wanting to find someone but remembered that he went on a mission today. She sighed sadly."...Who...?" Treant mumbled. "...Will I be alright... with others...?"
"Treant Gaian, Fran wants to tell you something." Luigi calls out to her after he snapped out of his focus.
"Wh... What...?"
Fran breathes and begins to speak as he approaches her. "There is this mission, um..." he twiddled his fingers carefully. "...And... would you like some of us to come over alongside you for the mission?"
Treant raised her head a little bit but gasped and quickly lowered her large forearms in front of her.
"S-Someone... Br...pla..."
She went on ahead to the dressing room for women.
"There she goes..." Luigi muttered, his thoughts now gathered back while he felt something in his lower regions that he was glad he wore shorts at a time like this.
"..." Brandt was silent as he remained with that gawking expression, red streaming down his nostrils.
Gray suddenly yells out all of a sudden. "Did you just-! Those are massive-! No, huge-ass boobs!?" He sounded like he had never seen these before. "Damm! F-!" A tree stump knocked him flying, Treant somehow heard him even with the distance away. A loud crash was soon heard.
"...Time..." A voice begins to say darkly.
"Oh crap, ya'ow!" Gray sounded absolutely terrified.
"...to..." Luigi and Fran heard the calling of weapons, earning plenty of gasps and Gray's increasing terror.
They turned to look.
"...die, you bastard!"
Gray screamed like a little girl child.
The others sweated. Another display of Lusiane's Fury mode. If that phenomenon were to happen, no one can stop her. She also won't remember what happened during then, nor the violence she displayed during that mode.
Pure... unbound... rage unleashed at its' finest.
"I'm sorry, ah!" Gray was running as a flicker whizzed over his head while some yelps came out.
"I will destroy you, bastard!" Lusiane screeches.
More rumbles and explosions erupted. It soon came to a halt. There was silence around the area... some looked as the smoke from a distance cleared away... Gray was uncomfortably laid onto a newly created crater which will be repaired in a few days' time.
"...I wonder what happened." Luigi muttered as he looked at Lusiane, who was bent down, shaking her head and looking at her surroundings.
And throughout the entire sequence, Takan remained seated at his spot with water continuing its' torrential downpour on him.
Another normal day but will it be the same later?
May 13th, 2021
12:45 p.m.
Viridian Forest
"Being with... elite members of WINGS..." Treant murmurs with her heavy stomps on the grassy grounds with Luigi walking in front of her.
"Is something the matter?" Luigi asked about what she meant. "There's no need to be embarrassed, we're from the same organization."
"...Mmm..." she mumbled. "It's... I never really... went with anyone else..." she admits.
"Hm? 'Anyone else'?" Luigi repeated. "What do you mean?"
"...M... My..." she looked down, bashfully touching the ground lightly. She looked at him with a light breath. "...My... partner..."
"Partner?" Luigi wondered.
She nods. "...Rutile..."
"...Huh?" Luigi muttered. "Rutile, as in a gem?"
"No... his name... Rutile... Ram...pardos..."
"Rampardos...You mean Rutile Ore?" Luigi guessed. Treant nods quietly.
"Huh, I've read the things about you two. Rutile's more defense-oriented since he uses his shield to defend and toss around to protect, pretty strange since most Rampardos are more offensive."
Treant responds with a nod and called out her weapon... biting onto it. A giant sword with the hilt held by her jaws.
"You are more offense, oriented." Luigi nodded and looked ahead. "Just like Arubo, you use a large blade in combat and have the upper edge in both range and melee to make up with your lack of speed."
Treant nods quietly.
"...Also, I know you snuck out again. When we get back to HQ, you'll receive an earful from Commander."
"Huh?" Treant murmurs.
She looked at where Luigi looked at and spotted someone appearing out from the bushes. An Infernape with a bang covering one eye.
"Ugh..." Iggy grumbled. "Can I just go out on missions when I am completely fine?"
"Really now?" Luigi dared and appeared beside Iggy and swiped his legs with his own. Iggy yelped and fell onto his back. "...Guess not, you really are stubborn and hot-headed."
"I said... I'm just fine...!" Iggy shoots back.
"...Suit yourself and don't blame me if anything bad happens to you." Luigi teased with a grin.
"No, it won't happen like that!" Iggy fires back with a growing grin as he gets up.
"Okay, let's get going then and finish this before Professor gets a heart attack if he finds you missing."
"Sure, I'm up for that."
Treant looked at Iggy then back at Luigi. "...Know each other... well..." she comments.
Iggy turned to her. "Well, yeah. From as far... as we can remember, we are childhood friends."
"Yeah, even though I am older than him by..." Luigi revealed before counting their ages. "Three to four years."
"...Nineteen..." Treant turns to Iggy. "...And... Twenty... three?" She looked over at Luigi.
"You've guessed it." Luigi nodded. "In terms of Kanto, I am his senpai."
"I'm a young adult: I don't need to be treated like a child." Iggy turns to Luigi.
"You are still the youngest amongst our designated team." Luigi countered with a smirk.
"I still beat you more since childhood." Iggy shot back.
"I use three different weapons."
"I am more skilled in close quarters combat."
Treant watched as these two continued to bicker like old friends, which ended when Luigi grabbed Iggy into a chokehold and rubbed his head. Both of them laughed at this and she felt a bit left out. What other hobbies did she have that could interest them?
"Hmm..." she mumbles to herself. Smithing? No, not many really do it these days, but still serve to get newer weapons should their older ones break. But it wouldn't do. Working out? Many of WINGS do that... it really works more like a daily routine... so, it doesn't feel like it counts...
The two watched her spacing out without her speaking and appeared to be watching them with a blank look. "She is among the recruits we've gotten last week." Luigi introduced. "You've heard of her prowess in offense swordsmanship, correct?"
"Oh, I think I heard." Iggy said. "She swings that massive blade effortlessly with her jaws..."
"Yes." Luigi agreed. "She is the one who helped in making our weapons more effective for the week."
"She's a weaponsmith..."
"Yeah, pretty impressive one for being a recruit." Luigi praised. "She's also quite pretty."
"She is?"
"...Um, what?" Luigi looked with shock. "Didn't you see? She has a pretty face and an impressive body."
Iggy looked at her. Treant stared back at him. "...She does look good." Iggy comments. "And what do you mean by 'impressive body'?" From how naïve that sounded, he has no idea.
Luigi sighed, he doesn't understand of the beauty of her muscular and curvy body was. The body of an Amazon who were known to have beauty and strength to match their greatness.
And... then... from around the area her breastplate covers.
He felt a bit embarrassed thinking about those enormous melons... They were even larger than Claire's own too.
"Weeg?"
"Yeah?" Luigi looked back at Iggy.
"You look a bit spaced out. Something up?" Iggy wonders.
"Oh, nothing to be concerned about!" Luigi stammered. "Just about getting watermelons back in HQ."
"Huh?"
"Anyways, Treant, what do you think of your first mission outside your usual team?"
"...It's... different..." Treant mumbles. "So... different... Like... everywhere feels different even if I've already come here before..."
"Yeah, you'll get used to it." Luigi assured while he summoned his weapons. "I am adapt in three weapons and relatively fast but I can't take much of a hit. Iggs here is more into using Fire and Electric punches from a far. Remember to know your allies' strengths and weaknesses."
"Yeah." Iggy replies. "And you should know that I can control fire used by free sources or from other enemies, the latter taking a bit more focus. And redirecting them, making them hurt from the return fire. Literally. Even if they are normally resistant to it."
"Oh... Okay..." Treant nods, watching as gloves surround Iggy's hands. Learning the basics with veterans, Treant felt her heart race with excitement. This feeling...Her, a recruit, and them, veterans. One younger than her with the other being older.
It was so foreign... but... she wanted to continue to learn more about it all.
She nodded as the group continued and some Dulled appeared before them. "Are you ready?" Luigi asked.
Treant nods silently, glaring at their targets.
"Do you need to ask?" Iggy tells Luigi.
"Just like always." Luigi answered. "WINGS, commencing combat!"
A Chandelure laid on the ground as she looked up from her weakened state. Summoning, to be able to summon an otherworldly creature took too much for her to bear, it left her crippled and weak while it attacked and destroyed the massive-scales Dulled about to set foot on the Unova region. She dropped her sword and looked at her guards beside her. They were about to approach her when someone appeared suddenly from behind the guards and killed them with one stroke before they noticed them. She looked ahead tiredly.
"You must be the traitor of the Galar Defense Force." She revealed.
The figure looked down quietly.
"...My daughter is gone. If you kill me, the secrets of Summoning shall disappear with my death."
"...It's better... if things went this way. What they had... is much worse than summoning."
"...Then promise me this. Protect the Legends...for...they are...my most treasured friends."
"...If either of us are remembered..."
He brought down his sabers, shattering her body into pieces. She needed to be killed to prevent the leakage of valuable information. She was...who was she again? Another nameless being who fell victim into his sabers. To be forgotten from history.
Somewhere else, there was a cry inside a field of endless snow and blizzard. A burning wreckage of an aircraft laid there, all occupants inside were killed but a little white candle-like being. She had a pair of small arms, a pair of pale yellow eyes, and a small mouth. She got off the corpse of a female Leopard-like Pokémon as she wondered lost around the area. She cried out and shivered from the cold, her tears froze from the cold.
"Anyone! Help!" She cried out while she choked sobs.
She wandered alone, lost and afraid.
She noticed that the surrounding blizzard... it got... stronger?
"Huh?" She gasped, her cries became harder as fear swallowed her. She won't make it out alive here. All alone and didn't live much long. Why was this happening? She was only a child, a kind and sweet young child so why?
The blizzard... it begun to reveal a large shadow... One that very well towered plenty comparable to the aircraft prior to crashing.
"M-Mr. Gardious?" She called out, trying to assure herself that the young man she grew to respect was there.
"...Gardious?" The voice... it's... different.
She sank back along the wreckage with fear. "No, don't run away..." The shadow continued its' way over to her.
She stopped and looked. Who was this shadow?
As the shadow got into clearer view through the ever-growing violent snowstorm, it was revealed. She heard about this Legend before. The one she grew to respect the most amongst them for his gentle and kind personality despite his own legend as a monster.
"Are you...Kyurem?" She asks.
"That... is my name." The being answers.
"...Don't worry, little Summoner." Kyurem got closer to the wreckage. "...I am here." He speaks in a calming, soothing whisper.
He went in and embraced her to shield her from the cold.
"...Am I still worthy to be called that?" She asked, looking down at the corpses, she wept. "I was unable to save them. Maybe they were right calling me a naïve little thing."
"...No... This was... no fault of your own." Kyurem replies.
"Then...why do they have to die? They were just protecting me. Because I...I..." she stuttered, the one who told her stories about the Legends was a silhouette. "I can't remember..."
Kyurem looked back at the many lives sacrificed... This effect...
To be forgotten at death. A terrible fate that was bestowed upon them by the crystals. She looked at this child, born with the gift of magic but now wouldn't remember those who passed. To witness something at this age...He embraced her close to his chest. She could hear his heartbeat as she wept.
"Please...Don't disappear from me too..." she sobbed.
"...I won't... I will care for you..."
She continued to weep while he embraced her. He gently spoke out her name through the connection a Summoner and Legend had.
"Carla." Someone called out.
A Chandelure in a hood looked up from her daydream and turned to Cobalion.
"Yes, I am here." She replied as she spotted someone go out of the river. He was a majestic beast. The beast had cyan fur around the back of his body and on the four legs with white fur at the underbelly and large diamond-shaped patterns around the sides. Two white streamer-line tails flowed beside his body. Between his piercing red eyes was an antler which resembled the antler of the Qilin and two prongs below it. Under the chin was a tuft of fur and a long and majestic mane flowed from his hair. He was a beauty to behold as he stood before the Chandelure.
"Suicune, anything to report?" She asked.
"None from any sight, however..." Suicune explains. "...There have been some disturbances in the air."
"Not only that but our Summoner needed some rest." Cobalion added. "She was working for the entire week without any rest and letting us stay active and not continuing her pilgrimage."
"I am fine, Cobalion." The Chandelure barked back. "We need to save Father."
"Summoner, he wouldn't like it well if you overworked yourself." Suicune tells her.
"You should know too." She continued to relent. "He did so much for me. I wouldn't be here and continued my dream of becoming a Summoner if it weren't for him."
"Would you allow yourself to be deceased before you see him?"
"...No." She finally relented while Suicune let her lie on the tree beside the river.
"Rest is important. You would need to recover your magic." Suicune adds.
"...Right, I was so caught up that I had forgotten to take care of myself. Father told me that to care for others, I must care for myself first."
Suicune nods. "Yes, all of us are glad you remember and take to heart of vital values."
"...Still, I am glad that you reminded me of what is important when I needed it."
"This is why we are your Summons. We are in a pact with you. It is our duty to take care of ourselves and our Summoner." Cobalion stated. "You rest while you regain your lost energy. We'll find Kyurem, that's a promise."
"Thank you..." The Chandelure thanked. "Right, wake me up after an hour. I'll be ready by then."
The two nodded as they watched their Summoner sleep while Cobalion looked at the time.
"It's three hundred hours now." Cobalion read the time.
"Then, four hundred hours at least." Suicune responds.
Cobalion nodded as he looked with a smile. "How about we delay the timer?" He schemed. "Wake her up at eight hundred and thirty hours?"
"...She'd have all the rest she will require, at the cost of her unhappiness."
"We might get beaten but who wouldn't like to see the look on her face when she realized we let her oversleep again?"
"...It will be worth the rest and health for her."
"Yeah." Cobalion looked back. "She lost her parents and forgotten about them because of the Crystals, Kyurem is the only parental figure she has left and remembers. I get the feeling, Keldeo was like that too."
"Yes..."
"Alright, I'll be going on ahead. You take care of our Summoner. I'll see what I can find."
"I will."
With that, he went on a head and began his search of Kyurem's whereabouts. He moved a head in the night, finding some disturbances around. He promised to return him back for his Summoner and a chance for a rematch against him. He wandered about to find him before he shook.
"...Nothing here." He sighed with disappointment.
He tried to remember what this place was. Oh right, Route 5 of the Unova Region. His own field. He walked a few more meters.
He looked around a bit more, noticing something amiss.
"Cold..." He muttered. "What's this?"
He hid behind a large rock and looked diagonally upwards. He spotted something flying. "Articuno? No."
It looked similar, but it was not Articuno.
Cobalion kept his presence hidden as it flew around. He noticed that if faced a certain direction and knew what it was facing.
"Castelia City." He muttered. "I need to tell them."
He felt some kind of signals that came from above. He knew what this was.
"WINGS's satellite." He whispered and recounted of where he heard that name before. "They should help."
He released some energy out that could make them know where he was. He knew his Summoner at this state wasn't strong enough to defeat this Dullled. He needed help from those who faced them before.
Hopefully, they will be able to handle the threat and save Kyurem...

Outskirts of Castelia City
Fran looked ahead from the aircraft his team rode and saw Castelia City before him. It was still a majestic sight for eyes with the towering blocks appearing as a metropolis.
He knew that he wasn't here for sightseeing but on a mission to find the threat. He still had a mission to do and save this city. He looked at the team who joined him for this mission.
Weiss breathed out quietly. He swore to himself that any mission away from their polar bear is any mission he would take in a jiffy.
"I'm p-peachy fine!" Brandt quickly says. "No, not thinking about... holy... I'm thinking again..."
He blushed again from what he saw in the morning... Lenna sighed. They could have used more firepower..."The one we'll be facing is an aerial type based on the reports." Lenna stated. "A being from Old Times meant its magical properties are high."
"This will be a rather tough one for most of us." Weiss gets up from his seat. "About nearly the entire group here, from some data given, won't do so well against ice."
The other three's eyes fell to Fran. "Are you really going to be okay?" Brandt asks. "You can't handle the cold like this."
Fran nodded and gave a resolute look despite his lack of confidence. "I-I will." Fran assures. "Please... I am able to fend for myself too... and you guys also need some support..."
"...Alright, Fran but please be careful." Lenna reminded with a caring look.
"Mhm..." Fran nods.
They looked onward as the aircraft landed. The three looked around, trying to find the Dulled they were tasked to find. The Arctic Avian, which was supposed to be around here somewhere.
Fran held his arms tightly. Hopefully... they will be able to stop it... and protect all these lives here...
