One of the greatest moments in a person's life is becoming a parent, but sometimes, things prevent that from happening.

Amity sat at the kitchen table when Willow came down and sat with her.

"How is she?" Amity asked.

"Luz or Boscha?"

"Both."

"They... they blame themselves." Willow said.

"How? How can they possibly blame themselves for something that they couldn't control?"

"Well, you know Luz, if something in life goes wrong, she automatically blames herself. I guess fusing with Boscha makes her feel the same way."

"Let me talk to them." Amity said.

Amity got up and walked to the manor's library. Even before they were fused, they both enjoyed spending time in the library, although, Boscha would try and keep that a secret, so it wasn't a surprise when she found them reading a book in the most obscure corner of the library.

"Luscha?" Amity said, trying to get their attention, "Are you two-"

"Why did we have to lose them?" Luscha said.

Amity couldn't tell if it was Boscha talking or Luz talking, all she heard was an adult trying to not break down crying in front of their wife.

"It wasn't your fault." Amity said.

"Yes, it was! Our body is so broken that it can't give birth without the babies dying!" Luscha said, Amity hearing both Luz and Boscha's voices in the scream, "It's because of us that we lost the twins! We are the reason we won't be mothers!"

They dropped the book and fell to their knees, crying uncontrollably. Amity immediately ran over and hugged them.

"You two aren't broken, you just had a miscarriage, it's normal thing that happens to people. We can try again." Amity said, running a hand through Luscha's hair, "Everything will be fine."

"We're sorry, Amity. We knew that you wanted to be a mother."

"I don't care about that, all I care about is that you two are alive." Amity said, "I was worried that you would die that day."

"C-c-can we stay here for a minute?" They asked, "We need someone to cry on."

"I'm here and I won't leave you."

Luscha cried on her for a while. They were gone for so long that Willow came to find them and let them know that dinner was ready. She was pulled into the hug and they stayed there for so long the dinner was cold when they left, but that didn't matter, they all needed it after they experienced the loss of their twins.
