Boscha was wheeled to the table, where her mom handed her a bottle with a dark blue liquid.
"Here's your medicine." Elizabeth said.
Boscha took it and mumbled something about it being horrible.
"Boscha, if you don't drink it, then you'll be in pain all day and I don't want to hear it." Elizabeth said, "Besides, I'm not letting you leave until you drink it."
Boscha drank it and began to gag.
"This is the most disgusting thing I've ever drank!" Boscha said, "Why can't I have another kind of pain killer?"
"Because, you have a serious injury, and this is the strongest pain killer elixir they have. It was picked by Healing Coven leader himself. Now, I need you to eat and then we can get you to the castle for your Healer's Appointment."
Boscha looked down, clearly upset.
"What's wrong?"
"I... I'm just causing more problems." Boscha said, "They should be focusing on the portal, instead they're focusing on me."
"Boscha, you are not causing problems, you are a victim of this man."
"I'm not important."
"Yes, you are!" Elizabeth shouted, "You are the most important person I know! You don't deserve what happened to you! You didn't deserve to be beaten, cursed, or crippled!"
"I'm not as important as Luz."
"Yes, you are, you are the Princess's best friend, if something was to happen to you, she would be devastated."
Boscha smiled until she thought of something.
"Wait, I just realized something." Boscha said, "You knew Luz was the princess this entire time."
"Of course, I knew, I'm the leader of the Potion Coven. I've spoken the Emperor, Empress, and Princess multiple times. I've learned a lot about that family."
"Like what?"
"Empress Camila, is far more dangerous than Emperor Belos. I've seen her stop an assassin with a simple glare and a sandal. She's a human that is more powerful than any witch."
Becky came downstairs, only half awake.
"Well, there's the head of the Emperor's Coven. Ready for your first day?" Elizabeth asked.
"I hope so. I'm pretty nervous."
"That's normal, I was the same way on my first day as the Potion Coven Leader. You'll do fine."
Boscha ate in silence while her mom and sister talked. She couldn't help but wonder what Luz was doing in the Human Realm.
"She's fine, she has to be fine." Boscha said to herself.
Completely unknown to her, Luz was injured by two bullies and her cousin went to confront them.
