The three Triplet members were at the table, eating dinner.
"So, Becky, your sister tells me that you had an announcement of some kind?" Elizabeth said.
Becky glared at Boscha, who just gave an innocent smile.
"I'm going to break your legs." Becky said.
"I can't feel them anyway." Boscha said.
"Well, the second you get out of that chair, I'm putting you back in it."
Becky stood up and cleared her throat.
"Well, mother." She looked at Boscha, "And Brat, as you know, I am the new Head of the Emperor's Coven, I found out today... that it won't be temporarily anymore."
"Becky, you mean-"
Becky cut off her mom by lowering her glove and showing her wrist, revealing her new Emperor's Coven Patch on her wrist.
"Lilith Clawthorne revealed that she was incredibly injured after the attack that led to her being in a coma, and causing the Princess to be stuck in the Human World." Becky took in a deep breath, "Lilith recommended me herself, saying that I would do better than she could."
"And... what is going to happen to Lilith?" Elizabeth asked.
"She's going to retire after the portal is fixed. She'll leave and move into her old manor. Why do you ask?"
"No reason." Elizabeth said, "I'm glad that you have gotten a successful job, you'll do great."
"Thanks mom."
"Not bad, Beck." Boscha said.
"You know I hate being called Beck."
"And I hate being called Bo-Bo."
Eliabeth rolled her eyes. These two will never change. She got up and grabbed the handles of Boscha's wheelchair.
"Alright, let's get you ready for bed."
"Mom, I'm not a baby!"
"But you are injured and, as your mother, it is my job to make sure you get better." Elizabeth said.
She had another reason for wanting these two to get ready for bed. She needed some time to think. When she got Boscha all settled in, she checked on Becky to make sure was getting ready for bed. When she was positive she was, Elizabeth went to her room, where she thought about one thing... Lilith. If there was one mistake she made in her life, it was marrying her husband instead of the woman she loved. She still blames her mother for that, damn arranged marriages, she needs to talk to Belos about getting those banned. In the castle, Lilith was packing her stuff. She only moved into the castle after she stopped the assassin that tried to kill the Princess when she was a baby, Belos said he needed someone to protect her when no one else was there. Now that she was retiring, she had no reason to stay. Lilith looked around and saw a mirror. She went over to it and removed her dress. She has gained a few scars since she joined the Coven, including one large one that caused her to go from a simple guard to the Empress' personal assistant, on Empress Camila's own word no less. Lilith had to say, she would miss this job, but she had to put it past her, it was almost time for her to put this behind her.
