If you were to give Boscha a choice between the horrible Painkiller potion she had to drink and the bottle she had in front of her, she would pick the Painkiller. Unfortunately, the large claws that replaced her nails and feathers coming out of her skin gave her little choice.
"I hate these things." Boscha said.
"Well, until you get fully cured, there isn't anything that can be done." Becky said, "Now drink your elixir before I feed you like when you were a baby."
Boscha looked at Becky with annoyance.
"Don't you have a job to do?"
"I am to stay by your side until you are able to walk again." Becky said with a shit eating grin, "Emperor's orders."
"You really piss me off, you know that?"
Becky lightly patted Boscha's head, which made Boscha growl.
"I know, and you love it." Becky said, "Now drink the damn elixir before I shove it down your throat."
Boscha pulled the cork out and began to drink from it. She nearly gagged at the horrible taste and did her best to drink it. When she finished it she nearly threw up.
"Taste like fish that's been left in the sun for a week!"
"Oh, you might hate me for this." Becky said, holding up the painkiller potion.
"No."
"Bo-Bo, you have to."
"No."
"Boscha." Becky warned, "Stop acting like a child."
"I already took that disgusting elixir, I refuse to drink that!"
Becky shrugged.
"Okay."
She made a spell circle and a funnel appeared in her hand. Boscha's eyes widened.
"You left me no choice Boscha."
Later, Boscha was placed at a window. When she threw the funnel out the window, she just stared at the skull.
"What if I never am able to walk again?" She asked, not expecting a response.
To her surprise, she got one.
"It sounds like a conundrum."
Boscha looked and saw the same girl from earlier.
"It was... Emelina, right?" Boscha said.
"Yeah, but you can call me Emily." Emily said, "I couldn't help but overhear your current problem."
"You did?"
"Listen, three eyes, I've seen some pretty weird things in my life and I can safely say that Luz is the weirdest." Emily said.
"And what does that have to do for me?"
Emily ignored the question and continued to talk.
"And if there's one thing I learned from Luz, it's that anyone that knows her has to be strong, powerful, and will never give up in order to put up with her and her adventures." Emily said, "I have a feeling you are one of those types of people."
Emily left Boscha to her thoughts. Boscha thought about what she said and had a small smiled.
"I am strong, I am powerful, I won't give up."
