Izuku woke up and realised that he wasn't alone in his bed. He looked over to see that he was sleeping with Jirou in his bed. Jirou shifted and turned to face away from him. Looking at her made him remember when they were kids and would spend a lot of time together.
"Hey, Izu!" Jirou said, running up to a young Izuku playing on the playset.
"Hey Kyo!" he said.
"Look at this, I can use my jacks to listen to music instead of regular headphones," Jirou said, demonstrating by putting her jacks into her MP3 player.
"That's so cool. I hope that when I get my quirk it'll be something cool like that," he gushed, looking at her with stars in his eyes.
"Ha, a quirk like that's nothing compared to mine," a young Bakugou said, showing off his explosions.
"Kacchan, Kyo's quirk is just as powerful when you think about it. Her jacks are more versatile than your explosions," Izuku explained.
"Ha, you just think that they're cool because you don't have a quirk. You're just a Deku," he sneered.
"Just ignore him," Jirou said, wrapping a jack around his arm. When it touched his shoulder the song she was listening to was sent into his body.
"Kyo, I can hear your music. Your jacks can transmit sound too," he said, realising what this could mean. "You can be like Present Mic and use soundwaves to fight Villains."
"I think I'm going to do music as a career. You will be the hero that I sing about," she said, smiling.
Izuku looked at Jirou as she stirred awake.
"Morning Kyo," he said, smiling at the memory.
"Hmm," she groaned. "Wait, Izu? It wasn't a dream? You're back?!" she said, clinging onto him like he might disappear.
"I'm here, I'm with you Kyo," he said, holding onto her. There was a knock on the door.
"Midoriya," Momo said. "Jirou wasn't in her room this morning, do you know where she is?"
"I'm in here," Jirou said.
"Oh, um, err, sorry for interrupting whatever you were doing," she said.
"Just talking about the past, you can come in if you want to," Izuku said.
"Oh, um, no thank you, I'll be downstairs. We are having breakfast if you want to join us," Momo said.
"Well, I haven't had real food in forever so I'm going to go down," Izuku said, standing up.
"Alright, let me go get changed and I'll meet you down there," Jirou said, running out to her room.
Izuku walked down and was greeted by most of the people. A few minutes later Jirou came down and sat with him.
"So, I had a question," Kirishima said.
"What is it?" Izuku asked.
"So, you said you had quirks forced into you, how?"
"Well, I'm not completely sure myself," he confessed. "I was young when they forced them into me so I can't fully remember."
"Dang, well at least now you can become a hero," Kaminari added.
"I could've become a hero even if I didn't get a quirk. Just would've taken a lot of hard work," Izuku explained.
"That's manly bro," Kirishima said, grinning.
"Shut up you fake!" Bakugou yelled.
"Can you at least try to be civil?" Izuku quipped. "Or did auntie make you have her explosive personality?"
"You don't get to talk about my mother."
"Well at least you have a mother!" Izuku yelled.
"What do you mean?" Mina asked.
"When I was kidnapped they blew up my mom's car with her still in it. I had to watch," Izuku growled.
"Bakugou, leave Midoriya alone or I will report you to Aizawa," Momo threatened.
"Try it ponytail, I'll have you in Recovery Girl's office before you can get to him," Bakugou shouted.
"You can go to sleep," Izuku said, shooting his leg with a tranquilizer dart.
"What do," he started, before it took effect and knocked him out.
"Should wake up in about an hour," Izuku informed everyone. "One of my abilities is to shoot tranquilizer darts from a gun on my left hand. It can also be a sonic gun."
"You shot Bakugou!?" Ilda asked.
"Yes, he shouldn't threaten people. It doesn't even pierce the skin, check his leg if you want to verify," Izuku said.
"He's right, it's like a nerf dart," Kirishima said, holding it up.
"I don't use lethal force, I already know what it's like to be in a fight where it's your life or another's," Izuku informed everyone. "One of the villains went crazy and attacked me. I had to use my werewolf quirk, but I try not to. It makes me lose my sense of self, I become a wolf mentaly."
"Wait, are you saying that you killed someone?" Jirou asked.
"Yeah, the police and UA staff already know. I made sure that Nezu told them. I'm still haunted by the sight when I came to. Y-you c-couldn't e-e-even t-t-t-tell th-that it w-was once a p-p-person," he stuttered, trying to hold back tears. "I s-swore t-to n-never u-use lethal f-force unless n-needed, and even then I-I don't w-want to."
"Hey, it's alright, calm down," Jirou said, putting her hand on his human shoulder. "You're with us, not them. You are right here with me."
"Th-thanks K-Kyo," he said.
"Let's drop the topic," Momo said, glaring at everyone daring them to try to argue with her. A dare Ilda took.
"He's a killer, he should be in jail!" Ilda yelled.
"He's a survivor. He withstood more than any of you could hope to, and he did it when he was barely old enough to get a quirk," Aizawa said.
"Did you know about this?" Ilda demanded.
"Of course, everyone who works at UA was told and we all decided to let him join. If any of you tell this to the media you can kiss your chances of graduating from here at all goodbye. Also, we told him that if someone is becoming too much, he can use his darts to knock them out. I knew Bakugou would cross the line. I'm honestly surprised it took this long," Aizawa sighed. "So, I'm letting you know that class for the rest of the week is canceled, and if you need to talk to someone about what happened then contact a teacher, we are all certified counselors. Also, Midoriya, you are going to have sessions with the school's therapist for the rest of the year. They will start today. Here's the info," Aizawa added, handing Izuku a piece of paper. After quickly checking it, he took it and put it in a compartment in his body.
"That's cool! So, how much of your body is cybernetics?" Mina asked.
"Roughly 80%," Izuku said. "The issue is that I can't feel anything with them. I can't truly feel what it's like to hold hands with someone. I can't feel the warmth of human hands holding mine. I can't go out and be seen as a person. I don't even have skin on most of my body. It reminds me that I was made, not born. I'm not natural, I'm not even truly human," Izuku said, getting down.
"Hey, cheer up. I for one don't think that you aren't human, if anything you're more human than me," Mina said.
"Yeah, she's an alien," Hagakure said.
"Hey!" Mina complained.
"Heh, thanks for that. I think I needed to hear that. Well, whoever made this is either a really good cook, or I'm just too used to having supplement pills," Izuku joked, trying to lighten the mood.
"Well, Sato is one of the best people in the kitchen," Uraraka said.
"Well, if I get more food like this I'll be glad," Izuku said, grinning.
"Most mornings I cook so get used to it," Sato added.
"It's nice having something that's normal for once," Izuku said, getting up. "Well, I have a therapist appointment and I need to find where this room is, later." With a wave of his hand he walked out and went to the main UA building. He looked around the building and eventually found the room.
"Eh, I'm only a minute early," Izuku thought, knocking on the door.
"Come in~," a sultry voice said.
Why do I feel scared? Izuku thought, walking in. "Um, I'm here for the therapist," he awkwardly said. In front of him was Midnight in a pantsuit with glasses on.
"Yes, that'll be me. You are Izuku Midoriya, correct?"
"Yes, Mrs.," he said, asking her to finish.
"Just call me Midnight, so what do you want to start with?" she asked, gesturing to the couch next to her.
With Jirou-
"Why do you trust him!? Did you lose your brain cells?" Bakugou yelled at Jirou.
"Listen, I don't care if you don't trust him. But he saved my life and Momo's. When he jumped out you weren't there. He said the nickname that only he called me and only the three of us knew. When he looked at me, I saw it in his eye. It was just like when he saved the kids you would bully. I trust him, and if you do anything to hurt him I will end you," Jirou countered, holding her jacks up.
"Ha, like you can do anything Long Ears. Like always your quirk is useless. You should just go do music like you said you would. If you want to sing about a hero it should be me, the next number one!"
"You're only the number one asshole! You can't even hold a flame to the number ten hero. Izu's going to be Number One and you will be nothing!"
"I'll kill that imposter before the year is over," Bakugou sneered.
"Try it and Mr. Aizawa will expel you for good and then you can't be a hero ever," Jirou said.
"What they don't know won't hurt them," Bakugou said, turning around and storming off.
"Kyoka, is everything alright?" Momo asked, walking from where Bakugou stormed off to.
"Momo, we need to talk in my room," Jirou said. Jirou led Momo to her room and when they got in she locked the door and the two of them sat on the bed.
"What's wrong Kyoka?" Momo asked, taking her hand.
"I-I need to explain something to you," she said.
"Hey, take your time. I'm not leaving anytime soon," Momo said, kissing the back of Jirou's hand.
"I know babe, it's just that this is weird for me. You know how when we started dating and you tried calling me Kyo and I kinda froze up?" Jirou said.
"Yeah, you said you would explain it to me later. Is that what this is about?"
"Yes. Remember when I said that the first person I loved I lost? Well, the reasons are one in the same. The first person that I loved and lost was the only one who called me that, and I could never stop loving him. He was the only one who called me that," Jirou said, tearing up. "And now I have him back and I'm so confused on what to do. I still love both you and Izuku and I don't have any clue on what to do," Jirou said, crying.
"Kyoka, I don't care what decision you make. All I care about is your happiness. If it's with Midoriya then so be it, if not, then I know he won't think any less of you," Momo said, pulling Jirou close to her.
"H-he told me that the r-reason th-that he s-survived was because h-he thought of m-me and then d-declared his l-love for me," Kyoka said. "Th-that's why I stayed with him last night. We were both happy and fell asleep because of the anxiety and fatigue from the day."
"Kyoka, is there something you aren't telling me?" Momo asked.
"I-I kissed him," Jirou whispered.
"What was that, I couldn't understand," Momo said.
"I kissed him!" Jirou yelled.
"Oh, and let me guess, you thought that I would hate you after hearing this," Momo said.
"Y-yes," Jirou sighed.
"Kyoka, nothing you do will ever, ever, make me hate you. I love you, and I always will," Momo said, punctuating her statement with a kiss on the lips.
"I love you Momo," Jirou said, smiling.
"Now, let's go down stairs. While our relationship isn't well known, there are some who I think have figured it out or know something is going on," Momo said, pulling back.
"Fine," Jirou whined.
The two girls went down and saw an amazing scene.
With Izuku-
"So, you don't think you are natural? Why's that?" Midnight asked.
"Look at me, I can't even look natural," Izuku said.
"Can't your one quirk modify the cybernetic parts?"
"I tried, it never worked."
"Could it be because your mind wouldn't let it?"
"What?" Izuku asked, confused.
"Your mind won't let you look normal, because it doesn't think it is normal. Why?"
"Because I was born quirkless, then I had three quirks forced into me by a villain and made into his play thing. How can a person who was made be considered normal by anyone?" Izuku shouted.
"Midoriya," Midnight started.
"Just call me Izuku. I'm not comfortable with that name anymore," he said.
"Izuku, I don't think you're abnormal or unnatural. If anything I think you are more natural than you realize. You just have parts that are unnatural, but you can control them. So the only thing stopping you is you," Midnight said, smiling at him.
"Heh, y-you're right. Kyo said something similar. I-I guess I am natural, just modified to match society," Izuku said.
"Oh, wow," Midnight said.
"What?"
"Look in the glass," she said. He got up and went to the window and started to tear up at his reflection. Most of the metal receded around his eye which stayed cybernetic with the metal around it. "It looks like that was all it took."
"I-I can't believe it," Izuku said. He then made the cybernetics go back over his body and then shrink back into his eye. "Looks like I can send it to my eye. It was the first thing I lost. When they blew up my mom's car a piece of shrapnel lodged itself in my eye. It's why they gave me this quirk, to make sure I was still useful."
"Well, I think we can call it a day here. I think we are making good progress," Midnight said. "Go have some fun as the normal kid you are."
"Th-thank you so much," Izuku said, giving Midnight a hug and running off.
"Heh, I like him. Too bad I can't have a son like him," Midnight sighed, putting her hands on her stomach.
Izuku ran to the dorms and busted through the doors.
"Um, hello who are you?" Mina asked.
"It's me, Izuku," he said smiling.
"Midoriya?"
"Just call me Izuku. I'm not comfortable with my last name because of my mom."
"Alright Izuku. Well, let's go show the others, but you might want some socks, and shoes, and a shirt," Mina said, her face going lavender.
"Oh, yeah that sounds like a good idea. Wait, I have abs, I have muscles," Izuku realised, looking down at his body.
"What's going on down here?" Jirou asked, walking down the stairs.
"Look Kyo, I'm human again," Izuku said, spreading his arms out.
"I-I-I s-s-see," Jirou said, her face extremely red.
"Um, w-wow," Momo said, her face equally as red.
"I think you broke them," Mina said.
"Just because your blush is lavender and not red doesn't make it unnoticeable," Izuku said.
"Go get clothes on, jerk!" Jirou said, stabbing him with her jacks.
"Ow, so that's what it's like to get stabbed. I haven't felt this since I was young," Izuku said, taking the jacks out. "Also, I don't have clothes to put on."
"Oh, um, go talk to Mr. Aizawa or something," Momo said.
"No need, we already thought this would be a problem so we got him just some plain clothes," Aizawa said. "So, finally realised that you were being irrational?"
"Yes, thank you for the clothes," Izuku said, taking them and running up to his room to change.
"Kyoka, we need to talk," Momo whispered.
"Alright, tonight," Jirou said.
"Hey, I was going to ask, how did you know Izuku?" Mina asked Jirou.
"We grew up when we were kids. We would always say that he would be the number one and I would sing songs about him," Jirou said.
"So, you think that he could, why?"
"Easy, he will always put himself in danger to help others. He actually stopped the pomeranian from attacking kids when we were all younger. He then became his target, and then he vanished and everyone lost the only shield from Bakugou's rage," Jirou said, somberly.
"Dang, that must've been rough on everyone. If he's this bad I'm surprised he didn't get in trouble," Mina said.
"The teachers praised him for his quirk, didn't do anything to interfere with his chances to go here and become a pro hero," Jirou said.
"What school did you go to again?" Momo asked.
"Alderan," Jirou said.
AN-
So, this is a thing that happened. I decided to have Momo and Kyoka in a relationship already. And to make it better Kyoka admitted her feelings for Izuku to Momo and Momo has a new development. Let's see who can figure out the hint and reference I put in there. They aren't the same.
