Authors notes: I've seen videos on youtube what if deku had a dragon quirk and while I never watched any of those something tells me they dont take it the same direction I do especially with the quirk cause it's more than just dragon. Read to find out.
Chapter One: Little Green Dragon
Our story begins with an Infant Izuku Midoriya in his mothers arms, in the middle of a hospital room. A tired mother, Ryuko Midoriya and A proud father Hisashi Midoriya. The two parents were overjoyed by the the little green bundle of happiness, Izuku had his fathers Green hair and eyes with a horn coming out of the left side of his forehead. Seeing he had something neither of his parents had the doctors at the hospital mad an appointment for when Izuku turns 5 to test what his quirk may be afterwards the newly formed family soon went home to enjoy their lives together.
About 4 years later :Izuku's first day of kindergarten
Izuku was on his was to Kindergarten, both his parents decided to drop him off for the big day seeing as Izuku hasn't spent much time with kids his own age and was extremely nervous. Ryuko looked back at Izuku in the car and said with a reassuring tone " You'll do great Izuku just be nice to everyone and im sure youll make friends!" Izuku looked towards his mom and and gave a small frown "But what if they make fun of my horn.." He said pointing to his horn. "Nonsense little guy, you tell them its a part of your quirk, and hey if that doesnt stop them tell them your mom is the upcoming hero Ryukyu!" Hisashi said giving a light chuckle while reaching his hand back to pat Izuku on the lap. "Well don't brag but that first part he right about about." Ryuko said lightly slapping her husband on the arm. They soon arrived at the Kindergarten, Izuku and his parents got out of the car and walked towards the front doors of the school. "Alright sweetie are you ready?" Ryuko said as she kneeled down face to dace with Izuku. "Izuku gave a small smile and said "Yeah, I'm ready!" Ryuko and Hisashi looked at their little boy with pride as they Hisashi said " Have a great day, Our little dragon!" Izuku blushed he acted liked he hated being called that but secretly he loved it. Izuku then ran off down the halls to his first day of Kindergarten, reaching the class he was supposed to be in he walked in and took a seat ready to begin school.
The school year went by normally until one of Izuku's class mates Katsuki Bakugo awakened his quirk. It was powerful and it soon went to the young 4 year olds head, he quickly became Izuku's biggest bully always teasing him for the little horn on his head. One day just before school, Izuku's throat and hands were starting to feel really hot, and quickly told his mother since his father was already at work. Ryuko knowing what Hisashis quirk was knew it could be something to do with that so she called the school to tell them what was going on and went to the hospital calling Hisashi on the way. Once they arrived they went into the doctors office where they had Izuku go through a multitude of tests. Finally testing was done and they had a concrete idea of what Izuku's Quirk was. Izuku surprisingly enough had two quirks in a sense. He could create, control, breathe and eat flames, while also having a small dragon transformation like his mother only his just altered his appearance slightly and not his overall body like his mothers. When transformed his horn extends slightly, he also gains wings and a small tall made completely out of green fire, his teeth turn into fangs and his nails into claws. This transformation grants him enhanced speed, strength, senses, the ability to fly, and amplifies his fire attacks. The doctors were astounded by Izuku's quirks describing it as a combination and mutation of the parents quirks making Izuku extremely rare. While Ryuko and Hisashi were just proud of what there son could do, and young Izuku was beaming at the thought of having a quirk so strong. The doctors informed the Midoriyas that they would need to stay at the hospital for one to two weeks to teach Izuku how to control his flames so he doesn't accidentally burn anything down in the future, the Midoyas obliged and soon Izuku's training started.
Two weeks had passed and Izuku finally got to go back to kindergarten and show off his quirk, his mom had told him no fire but said he could transform outside if the teachers said it was okay. Izuku couldn't wait, he barged into his classroom yelling "I GOT MY QUIRK I GOT MY QUIRK" all the students and teachers in the classroom were intrigued and came towards him. One of his teachers asked "Can you show us Izuku?" Izuku got excited at the thought and said "Yeah but my mom told me it has to be outside" the students and teachers knowing what his mothers quirk was expected him to transform into a huge dragon just like her and excitedly ran outside. Izuku stood in front of his class a few feet away like his mom instructed and transformed. Needless to say Izuku looked awesome and the class thought it. "I can also breathe, create, control and eat fire but mom told me I cant do that at school." The teachers stared at him in disbelief while the class just cheered saying Izuku was cool and was going to be a hero. Izuku then walked up to his friend turned bully Bakugo and said "Well Kachan what do you think of my quirk?" the blonde boy smiled and said "Pretty strong Izuku, I guess I know who my rival for number one is going to be!" Bakugo after seeing Izuku's quirk realized that he's not the only one thats special, and while he still wants to be number 1, he can respect Izuku and his power.
About 10 years later last year of Middle School
Izuku had trained with his mother for the past 10 years on how to control his transformation and flames, Izuku had his sights set on U.A the same school All Might the number 1 Hero and his mother went to. Izuku wanted to be a hero just like his mother, he grew up hearing storied and watching the news clips with his mother in them and grew enamoured by the world of heroes, and he knew he wanted to be one. Izuku had been readying himself for the recommendation exam, since his mother was a U.A Allum she was able to get him a recommendation slot in this years entrance exams. On the day of the exams Izuku walked into th practical application testing area with a bunch of other boys. One of which walked directly up to him and said very loudly "HELLO I AM INASA NICE TO MEET YOU" as he bowed hitting his head off the ground. Izuku was utterly confused by this, but nonetheless greeted back "I'm Izuku Midoriya nice to meet you too!" Inasa looked up and said "Midoriya are you the son of the Dragoon hero Ryukyu?!" Izuku grew a smile on his face and said "Yeah shes my mom" as he put his hand behind his head rubbing the back of his neck in embarrassment. "ITS TIME TO BEGIN" everyone heard the proctor say. Izuku than took his place for the obstacle race and transformed shocking everyone there. "GO" the proctor yelled and Izuku blasted off in a blur of green flames leaving everyone behind and securing first place. Izuku shortly went home happy with himself knowing he got into U.A and excited with what was to come for him next!
First day Of School
Izuku woke up early and left for school getting there before anyone else, soon after he arrived a tall Blue haired boy walked into the class room "Hello I'm Tenya Iida from Somei private academy it's a pleasure to meet you." Iida said as he walked towards Izuku, "I'm Izuku Midoriya and the pleasure is all mine." Izuku warmly greeted back as he smiled and reached his hand out for a handshake which Iida happily took. Soon after they began their conversation student started filing in the classroom and before they knew it a man looking like a caterpillar rolled in the room "I'm Shota Aizawa your home room teacher, It took you all 8 seconds to shut up that wont do. Now put these on and meet me outside." Aizawa said as he stepped out of his sleeping bag that mad him look like a caterpillar.
And thats where I'll leave it off, some things from the manga and anime are missing but in this line of events it wouldn't make sense for Bakugo to keep picking on Izuku, not to mention the would live in a different place than in cannon due to them having more money so Izuku wouldn't run into the Sludge villain anyways I hope you guys enjoyed and please let me know what you think!
