Daphne 'finds' a magical map of Hogwarts and finds she has an unhealthy habit of following Harry around the castle. Determined to find out what the isolated sixth year is up too she attempts to get closer to him but will find out it's not quite what she expected. While this has elements of cannon, it doesn't really follow it.

Harry is living on the outskirts of London after Voldemort takes over. Having hid his magic from Hermione he's forced to use it. Eventually participating in the Triwizard Trials, Voldemort's daughter Athena takes an interest in him. Selected as her personal Royal Guard he's forced to obey her to keep Hermione safe. A king is never left without resistance however. AU.

AU. Follow Hermione as she receives a strange letter inviting her to participate in a grand event. A past event that she can't seem to run away from and a strange, quirky wizard who she unwillingly has to trust her safety with. With the promise of a request, what will she wish for if she survives?
