Paul was annoyed.
Because of his and Ash's fights from earlier he was simply too tired to fly any faster than he was now.
He was trying to make it to the battle field as fast as he could when he felt his father facing whoever was the one who beat Gohan, sure Gohan was rusty from what he was told but still, for somebody to have defeated him, it would take somebody very powerful to do something like that.
He was going to find out who his father was going to fight and get answers.
Minutes later, he felt his fathers energy growing and soon after that, he saw a giant pink explosion caught his eye from the same place he felt his father powering up.
"What the heck is going on, I wish I wasn't out of energy!" Paul said angrily trying to pick up the pace.
He needed to reach the battlefield.
(Wasteland)
Things were going so good at the beginning at this fight.
Majin Buu, an evil being said to be a demon and Vegeta was facing that.
A big pink blog with a cage.
At the beginning of this fight, Vegeta was most likely on the winning end of this fight with Krillin, Piccolo, Goten and Trunks watching.
In this fight, Vegeta managed to leave marks from his ends, but soon learn like Cell had done, Buu could regenerate his wounds.
Vegeta even launched an attack that pierced right through Buu leaving a hole in his body.
But of course he regenerated with no problem.
Vegeta kept trying other tactics to win but eventually Buu got angry and unleashed an explosion at close range that Vegeta got engulfed by.
He survived it but was caught off guard when Buu ripped off a piece of himself and launched it Vegeta causing it to wrap around him and land him on the ground.
After that, Buu jumped on his fallen form and started to beat him senseless.
Trunks unable to watch any longer, he went Super Saiyan and charged at Buu.
Goten followed after making Piccolo let him.
Trunks kicked Buu away as Goten got to him.
While that happened, Piccolo took care of Babidi by striking him down in half.
Getting him to wake up, Trunks helped his father up and Vegeta looked to where Buu was kicked to.
"Listen, you need to take good care of your mother and brother." Vegeta said to his oldest son.
"Take care of Mom and Paul, but you can do that too right, you can take care of Mom and Paul too can't you Dad, Dad, why would you say that Dad, why do you want me to take care of Mom and Paul, are you going somewhere?" Trunks questioned to his father who never looked at him.
"I want you two to leave and get far away from here, as for Buu I'll fight him alone." Vegeta said knowing he has to do this alone.
Trunks gasped.
"Don't do that." Goten said not wanting the man to fight alone.
"Goten's right, we'll fight with you you don't wanna get killed do you, you've got to let us help you Dad, are you in?" Trunks asked at the end to his best friend.
"Yeah." Goten confirmed.
"See we're with you." Trunks said wanting to help.
"Stop it, it's too dangerous for you two, I will finish this by myself." Vegeta said not wanting the kids to be around.
"Come on, it'd be easier to beat him with me and Trunks." Goten persisted.
""We'll gang up on him, he won't know what hit him." Trunk said.
"Yeah, we're tough, we can even beat that big glob without your help!" Goten added in.
"You bet!" Trunks told.
"Might do better than you did!" Goten said before realizing what he said and covered his mouth.
Trunks did as well.
"Trunks, you are the oldest of my two sons, and yet I haven't held you or Paul once since you were a baby have I, come here son." Vegeta said as he went over and hugged Trunks for the first time.
"Dad what's wrong, aw this is embarrassing Dad come on cut it out." Trunks said feeling embarrassed.
Goten only watched sucking on his trumb.
"Trunks, there's something you must know, you and Paul have made me proud, my son." Vegeta said cracking a small smile.
Trunks looked at him confused.
But before he could even say anything, Vegeta chopped him on the neck, knocking him out of Super Saiyan and unconscious.
"Huh, what did you do to him, why'd you do that, what's wrong with you, why did you do that too Trunks, you might have killed it, why, are you crazy why?" Goten questioned back and forth.
Piccolo watches from a distance.
"Why did you do it tell me, why did you do that to Trunks, your his dad, Dad's aren't suppose to do bad things to their sons, why did you hit him, why did you hurt him like that why, why?!" Goten questioned grabbing the man.
Vegeta didn't say anything as he gut punches Goten causing him to revert as well and go unconscious as well.
Piccolo landed in front of Vegeta.
"Vegeta, I think I understand...and one day, so will Trunks." Piccolo said as he walked up.
Suddenly they both looked up to see Majin Buu walking back to the field.
"Me big mad, which guy hit Buu?" Buu asked wondering who hit him.
"Take the two boys away from here as far as possible, go now." Vegeta told as he walked towards Buu before stopping.
"Of course." Piccolo responded before picking up the two down boys.
"It's time, hurry." Vegeta said wanting him to leave and quick.
"You'll die you know that." Piccolo said wanting Vegeta to know what will happen if he does this.
Vegeta was silent when he heard this but wanted to know one thing.
"There is one thing I liked to know, tell me, will I meet that clown Kakarot in the Other World?" Vegeta asked wondering where he will go once his time is up.
"I'm not going to lie to you Vegeta although the answer maybe difficult for you to hear, this is the truth, Goku devoted his life to protecting the lives of others, because of his selflessness, when he died, he was allowed to keep his body and travel to King Kai's planet, you on the other hand have spent your life in pursuit of your own selfish desires, you've caused too much pain, when you die you will not receive the same reward." Piccolo explained to the prince who only closed his eyes, expecting this answer.
"Oh well, so be it, that'll be all, get out of here and hurry!" Vegeta said as Piccolo flew off.
"You stay, you fight Buu." Buu said getting up to Vegeta.
"Yes, that's right your fight is with me, the others are of no concern to you, got it, you big bloated balloon freak!" Vegeta stated as Buu puffed up as steam came out his steamholes.
"Me no like you, you talk mean to Buu!" Buu responded back.
"Hurry Krillin, you have to get away from here right now!" Piccolo said rushing away past Krillin.
"Yeah right." Krillin said flying after Piccolo.
"Me make you hurt bad, big man go down, me want fight." Buu stated.
"I think I finally understand you, let's go!" Vegeta stated as he flared his aura and electricity making a bunch of dust cloud up.
(Sky)
"What's Vegeta up to Piccolo, he's crazy he won't make it, that monster is gonna eat him alive!" Krillin said wondering if Vegeta was out of his mind.
"For the first time, Vegeta is fighting for someone other then himself, controlling his own fate." Piccolo said trying to fly as fast as he can.
"Hey guys!" Piccolo and Krillin looked forward to see Paul flying towards them.
They all stopped when he close.
"Paul, what are you doing here?" Krillin said knowing this wasn't the best time for the kid to be here.
"I'm trying to get some answers, where is my father, where is he, and why is Goten and Trunks unconscious?" Paul asked noticing his brother and his friend knocked out.
Piccolo didn't know what to say.
(Wasteland)
Vegeta was incased inside a big ball of energy that was getting stronger, blowing away most of the field and rocks around him and Buu.
"Oh, you look tasty, I make you chocolate, or make you cracker and cheese." Buu said not understanding what was happening.
"Hehehe, you are a fool, I'm going to crush you and throw you into the wind." Vegeta stated as particles started coming off him.
Buu looked alarmed and noticed particles coming off him as well.
"Trunks, Paul, Bulma, I do this for you, and yes even you Kakarot." Vegeta thought for the last time with a smile.
Buu looked alarmed for real now.
"HAAAAAAAAAAAA!" Vegeta screamed as the dome reached massive size, destroying the area around them both is a gigantic explosion.
Buu yelled as he was blown away from the force.
Vegeta said he was engulfed in the light.

Paul, Piccolo and Krillin looked in all at the giant explosion.
"No, Vegeta, VEGETA!" Krillin called out as Paul looked him in shock.
"Wait what, no, Father!" Paul called out hoping his father really wasn't the cause of that explosion.
Piccolo closed his eyes.
"I can't let him do this!" Piccolo said about to head back but was stopped by Krillin holding his cape.
"Piccolo wait, it's too late, you know as well as I do you can't survive a blast like that, let him finish what he started, remember you yourself said this was the first time Vegeta's risking his life for the sake of others, he needs this Piccolo, nobody's making him do this!" Krillin said as Piccolo growled and Paul wondered what was happening.
"So Dad is causing this to happen." Paul was in shock.
(Rocky Wasteland)
Ash was looking around for Goku when he saw the most gigantic explosion he will ever see.
"What's happening!?" Ash asked wondering if this has anything to do with Vegeta.
He had to find his dad and quickly.
(Wasteland)
The explosion finally subsided and from it, was a giant crater.
In the sky, floated was Vegeta, now turned to stone.
He fell to the ground and broke into pieces, before being swept away by the wind, leaving nothing left.
Vegeta the Prince of all Saiyans, was gone.
(Sky)
All three noticed that things have gone quiet.
"No, are you sensing what I'm sensing Piccolo?" Krillin asked to the Namekian.
Paul felt it as and was in complete shock.
"Vegeta's energy signature has completely disappear, he's gone." Piccolo said quietly.
Paul was shaken up hearing that.
"That can't be, it can't." Paul said in shock.
"Listen, I'm going to go check things out over there at the battlefield, take care of these two would you?" Piccolo said wanting to be sure of things.
"I'm going too, I'd like to pay my last respects." Krillin said wanting to check this out himself.
"Nothing personal, but I rather go alone, also." Piccolo jester to Paul making Krillin in understand.
"I got you, and Buu might still be alive." Krillin said going to get the kids.
"I don't think so, but there's no sense in taking any chances, here make sure nothing happens to them okay." Piccolo said passing the boys to the short fighter.
"Don't worry I'll take care of them, just be careful okay." Krillin said as Piccolo was about to fly off in the direction of where the explosion took place before he stopped.
"I will, oh yeah one more thing, I'm going to have to ask you to do something Krillin and it's not going to be easy." Piccolo said looking at the fighter.
"I can do it, what is it?" Krillin asked wondering what the task was.
"Tell the others what happened here today." Piccolo told.
"Right but what do you mean, what should I say?" Krillin asked.
"I'm not sure what happened to Goku, he may still be around but apparently Gohan was killed by Majin Buu." Piccolo told to the small fighter.
"Gohan, wait, are you sure?" Krillin asked wondering if the kid they've known for the longest time was really gone as well.
"I'm afraid so Krillin, I heard Vegeta say it before he died, go now, I'm counting on you." Piccolo said before flying off.
"Hey wait, Piccolo, how am I suppose to...aw great why me, that's not fair, I'd much rather fight Buu." Krillin said knowing he had to tell ChiChi that her oldest son was died.
(Rocky Wasteland)
"Come on Dad, where are you?" Ash asked to himself as he looked around, seeing the damaged area from a fight so his dad had to be around here somewhere.
(Wasteland)
"I don't sense anything but that's definitely the place." Piccolo thought as he found the crater the explosion left behind.
He saw the size of it.
"He went out with a bang alright, wow the power it must've taken to produced a crater like that, Vegeta." Piccolo said as he landed.
He walked through the crater looking for any trace of Vegeta but found nothing left of him.
"No sign of Buu, I think it worked Vegeta, wait a second, there's Buu or what's left of him, he's been blown to a thousand pieces, now I understand, Buu would simply regenerate if damaged in the normal way so you had to make an attack powerful enough to blow him to bits, well you did it Vegeta, it worked, your sacrifice wasn't in vain, I've walked through that door before, I know it's not easy, especially for a guy like you huh, I was just like you once, until Gohan's love changed me, I know you were changed too, I know how much courage it took for you to do what you did, goodbye my friend." Piccolo thought as he knew Vegeta did what was best for the whole world and for his love ones.
Piccolo suddenly heard groaning.
He looked to see that Babidi was still alive in another smaller crater.
"Help me please." Babidi said in pain.
"Help you, why should I?" Piccolo said walking up to him.
"Please." Babidi pleaded.
"When help others you receive help, when's the last time you used your powers to help someone, I bet it's been a while hasn't it." Piccolo said looking at the down magic user.
"Help don't lecture me!" Babidi demanded in pain.
"You don't like being hurt do you, but you delight in hurting others, your right you don't need a lecture, you need to be exterminated." Piccolo told ready to finish the job.
"No!" Babidi said.
"Farewell!" Piccolo said holding his palm out and charging a Ki blast.
"No wait!" Babidi called.
"Ha!" Piccolo yelled out as he fired the blast, blowing Babidi out of existence.
Babidi's body was gone from this world.
"It's over, now things can become right again." Piccolo said looking at the giant crater in silence again, holding his head down for respect for the fallen prince, knowing that he was the reason why this victory was possible.
Suddenly Piccolo heard something.
He looked around to see the pieces of Buu acting up.
"They're alive!" Piccolo said in shock.
All the pieces were moving more and more.
"How is this possible, he's...he's regenerating, there are hundreds of them!" Piccolo thought in shock seeing them all.
All of them turning into tiny Majin Buu's.
"This is insane, this can't be happening!" Piccolo thought in fear as they all started forming together in different places, making 5 majin Buus.
The 5 Buu's suddenly started joining together.
"What kind of creature is he, he was in a million pieces, how can we beat a monster like that, I better get out of here while I still can!" Piccolo thought as he flew out for the area as fast as possible.
He just couldn't understand how Majin Buu had survived that explosion.
"We're done for, not even Goku has what it takes to deal with that." Piccolo thought flying as fast as he cans.
(Sky)
Krillin was flying away with the boys and Paul following him.
Paul said gotten out of his shock following Krillin to a place to get healed.
Suddenly Piccolo flew towards them.
"Krillin!" Piccolo called out.
"Piccolo, what's up?" Krillin asked to the Namekian warrior.
"We're in big trouble that's what, take those two to the Lookout immediately, you too Paul!" Piccolo said frantic.
"What's going on, what about that big blast, Vegeta's attack, don't tell me it failed, no one could've survived that, Piccolo Buu's alive isn't he?" Krillin asked knkwing that could only be the case right now.
"Yes, Buu's survive, he's alive and well." Piccolo said knowing this was all becoming bad.
"No impossible, what about Vegeta?" Krillin asked wondering if he at least survived.
"There wasn't even a shred left of him." Piccolo said making Paul clench his fist in anger.
"Damn it." Paul thought in his head, his father had died trying to kill whatever this monster was and it wasn't even enough.
"But if that attack didn't affect Buu then there's no hope." Krillin said thinking that if an attack of the size Vegeta used didn't work then nothing will.
"There is hope but if Buu finds it then he'll destroy it, it's the kids, Goten and Trunks, or even Paul and Ash, they have to be safeguarded until their ready for the challenge, it may takes some time but they're the only chance we have left, the sons of Goku and the sons of Vegeta, the future of the Earth depends on you guys, do you hear me Paul?" Piccolo asked to the boy who was quiet the whole time.
"Yes I have." Paul responded.
"Let's get to the Lookout and talk more about this, you want to avenge your father right?" Piccolo asked as Paul looked at him and nodded.
"Yes I do and I'll do whatever it takes to see it happen." Paul said wanting to do anything to destroy the monster that caused his father's death.
"Goff, by the way, where is Ash during all this?" Piccolo asked wanting to know where his student was so he could come with them as well.
"We felt his father and mine fighting earlier, so my father went to fight this Buu, Ash went in the direction of where the two fought, thinking he'll find him there, we'll probably see him sooner than later." Paul told as Piccolo nodded.
If Ash could find Goku wherever he was, then that would be better.
"Alright, let's go." Piccolo said as they all flew off, Paul having the most trouble since he was still tired.
(Korin Tower)
Around 15 minutes of flying later, the group had reach the tower of Korin.
"Are you sure that you sensed someone coming, I don't see anybody." Yajirobe said as suddenly, Piccolo, Paul and Krillin flew up to them.
Yajirobe and Korin saw them.
"Hey what's with the rush you guys?" Yajirobe asked.
"Hey you have anymore senzu beans?" Krillin asked to the two.
"We're not running a bean factory here you just took our last 3, we're gonna have to start charging." Yajirobe said.
"I'm surprising you haven't started charging knowing you." Krillin joked.
"Hey what do you mean by that, I live like a monk up here, I don't even have a TV set." Yajirobe stated.
"You don't have a TV, wow you really are roughing it up here, let's go Piccolo and Paul." Krillin said as Paul and Piccolo followed.
"That's right all I do is is grow beans for you ingrates I can't even have pizza delivered up here!" Yajirobe said to the fighter.
"If you weren't so lazy you could learn how to fly!" Krillin retorted back.
"Hey he's right, I could fly my own pizza's up." Yajirobe thought seeing them leave.
(The Lookout)
The three landed on the Lookout as Dende and Mr Popo ran out of the palace.
"It's Piccolo!" Mr Popo said.
"And Krillin and Paul!" Dende said seeing them all.
"Hello up there." Mr Popo greeted.
"It's good to see you again, oh it looks like Goten, Trunks and Paul are injured?" Dende said seeing some of the group injured.
"Please don't tell me the boys have been hurt?" Mr Popo said as clearly Paul was banged up.
"No they're find, Vegeta just knocked them out so they wouldn't interfere, they just need to rest for a little while, Paul on the other hand needs some healing." Piccolo said as Dende nodded.
"Oh thank goodness." Mr Popo said.
"Then we should get them to bed, Mr Popo?" Dende turned to Mr Popo.
"Yes sir, I just washed the sheets yesterday and I put fresh pillow cases on them this morning, let's see, them could use Kami's old sheet yes that's the softest one we've got." Mr Popo said as he grabbed the boys and walked away.
"Thank you Mr Popo." Dende thanked to his assistant.
"My pleasure." Mr Popo said.
"Paul, come over so I can heal you." Dende said as Paul nodded and walked up to Dende.
Dende held out his hands and focused energy thought them and they washed over Paul's body.
Paul felt his injuries from earlier disappearing and his energy coming back to him.
In a few moments, Paul felt completely healed from his injuries and his energy completely restored.
"Ah it feels great to be at full strength again, thanks Dende." Paul thanked to the guardian of earth.
Paul also felt stronger than he was before, this much be the Zenkai boost his father told him about.
Well it's gonna be very useful against Buu.
"No problem, so then, I take it we haven't made any headway again Buu and Babidi?" Dende asked to Piccolo.
"Not much, I managed to destroy Babidi but against Buu we've been pounded so far, even Goku." Piccolo said knowing he at least destroyed that annoying wizard.
"I know it's been hard, I've been sensing the whole battle." Dende said knowing how things have been going so far.
"You have, then you can tell us how Goku's doing, is he okay?" Krillin asked wondering if his friend was all good.
"Well it is difficult to kill a man who's dead." Dende said making Krillin chuckle nervously.
"Yeah I guess you've got a point there." Krillin chuckled before stopping when Piccolo looked at him.
"A little while ago Vegeta's energy signal completely disappear." Dende said making Paul cross his arms.
"Yeah he's gone, his attack hacked Buu into a million pieces but Buu just reformed." Krillin said knowing that regeneration was on a whole nother level than Cell's was.
"how do you beat an enemy who can do that, it doesn't seem possible?" Dende asked to them.
"Hey, what about Gohan?" Krillin asked.
"I can't sense him, I'm sorry." Dende said sadly.
"oh Gohan." Krillin understand, guess it was true after all.
"Dende what about the Supreme Kai, can you still sense him?" Piccolo asked to Dende.
"Oh no I forgot about Supreme Kai I'll try to find him." Dende told as he'll start looking.
"Good there's no way to make a plan until we figure out who we have left to work with." Piccolo said as Dende focused.
"I sense him, you can too, just look with me." Dende said sensing the Supreme Kai's energy.
"Yes I feel it it's faint but it's still there, Buu's power must've been masking it!" Piccolo said grateful the Supreme Kai was still alive.
"Piccolo tell me, do we have a chance?" Dende asked wondering if they could still win this fight.
"Given what we have and what we're up against I'd say no but nothing certain, ever since I saw Goku transform into a Super Saiyan I don't roll anything out." Piccolo said knowing nothing was certain.
"I understand, you're saying we need a miracle to win but you've seen one happen before." Dende said.
"Yes." Piccolo confirmed.
"So can someone tell me where the heck we go from here?" Krillin asked to the group.
"If I were you I'd do what Goku would do, he'd eat the meal I just pulled out of the oven rather than fight in an empty stomach." Mr Popo said as Krillin's stomach growled.
"Why not, let's eat." Dende said knowing food would calm things down.
"Hey wait up." Krillin said following Mr Popo.
So did Paul, after all the fighting that went down today, he needed a bite to eat.
"Gohan, have you really left us my friend, I can't feel it in my heart?" Piccolo thought in his mind wondering if Gohan had really left the world of the living.
(Rocky Wasteland)
"Come on Dad where are you!" Ash said as he was walking around the rocky area for awhile now.
He had to stop fly as he would only be wasting more of his energy and he couldn't afford that right now.
He continued to look around the place.
Rocks, broken caverns, down person, broken mountains...wait go back two times, down person!
Ash looked to see a person wearing orange and had a halo.
It was his father Goku.
"Dad!" Ash shouted as he ran over to his down father's form.
He started shaking Goku's body.
"Dad wake up, we need you right now!" Ash said as Goku groaned as he started to wake up.
"Huh, Ash what happened?" Goku asked as he suddenly remembered as he picked up his empty senzu bean bag.
Vegeta had clocked him on the back on his neck when his back was turned.
"Oh yeah now I remember, Vegeta figures, first the guy knocks me out cold and then he has to take the last senzu bean for himself." Goku said remembering it all.
He didn't understand why Vegeta wouldn't let him help.
"Hmm I wonder how the others are doing?" Goku thought as he looked around.
"Dad, are you listening to me?" Ash asked to his dad as Goku looked at him.
"Oh sorry Ash, you mind explaining to me what's been happening?" Goku asked as Ash looks like he's been through a lot of fighting.
Ash didn't answer.
"I can't still sense Buu, but I can't sense Vegeta or Gohan, this isn't good, man how long was I out for?" Goku asked wondering what has been happening since he was out cold.
"Gone." Ash said getting Goku's attention again.
"Gohan's energy disappear a while ago, and Vegeta's disappeared later afterwards." Ash said sounding sad and confused.
Goku looked at Ash and knew a lot has happened but Gohan and Vegeta, now he understands why he can't sense them.
He needed to find out what has happened and quickly.
Goku looked around and sensed some familiar energy's on the Lookout.
"Oh it feels like Piccolo and Krillin are back in action, and I can't feel Paul there with them, they probably know what's going on, Gohan I'm sorry I wasn't there for you." Goku said feeling great sorrow in all this
Goku placed two figures to his forehead.
"Ash grab my hand, it's time to go." Goku said holding out his hand to his youngest son.
"Okay." Ash said grabbing his father's hand.
"Okay let's go." Goku said as he used Instant Transmission and he and Ash disappeared from sight.
(The Lookout)
Paul and the others walked out of the palace.
"We're in a real dilemma here, Gohan and Vegeta are dead, Goku and Ash aren't anywhere to be found, how can it get any worse!" Krillin asked a little nervous.
"We've been in tough situations before." Piccolo reminded Krillin knowing they've been through this all before.
"Yeah but Goku always showed up when things got really bad like they are now, sorry guys I should be more positive that's the way Goku would be." Krillin said walking out.
"Goku knows to win, you have to believe your going to win." Piccolo said walking out as well.
"Yeah like a little kid, he thinks he can do anything, hey speaking of kids, do you think it'd be alright if I brought my family up here Dende?" Krillin asked to the guardian.
"I'm not sure, what do you think?" Dende asked to Piccolo.
"Your the guardian of the Earth now, it's your decision." Piccolo reminded that it's Dende's choice now.
"Well technically speaking it's not proper but if it wasn't for you guys, this planet wouldn't even be here so I say let's bend the rules." Dende said allowing this to happen.
"Hey great, thanks a lot Dende!" Krillin said feeling grateful.
Suddenly two people appeared on the Lookout getting everyone's attention.
"Yeah I feel it too!" Krillin said knowing these two energies and they all rushed to the side and saw who it was.
It was Goku and Ash.
"I'm either hallucinating or that's Goku and Ash standing there, Goku is there really you?" Krillin asked wondering if it was really him.
"Hi." Goku said.
"Hey Paul, I found him." Ash said seeing his rival.
Paul nodded with a smirk.
Good they had more allies.
"He's real, he's real he talks and everything!" Krillin said as he looked like he was about to cry.
"Hey what's the deal, why are you so sad, I thought you be glad to see me." Goku said seeing his looking like he was gonna cry.
"I'm not sad you oaf, I'm just so happy that I could cry, you're alive you're alive!" Krillin cried.
"Well I'm about as alive as a dead guy could be." Goku said as Krillin ran up to the two.
"Look at you, you look like you've been through the meat grinder, why don't we get those injuries taken care of." Krillin said.
"Ah a senzu bean huh." Goku said wondering if that was the case.
"No we're out, but we can do better than that, that is if Dende's willing to do some healing, what do you say guardian of the earth?" Krillin asked to the guardian.
"Well of course, certainly, who wants to be first?" Dende asked stepping up to do some healing.
"Ash, you go first son." Goku said sitting down on the floor.
"Alright." Ash said stepping up.
"Okay." Dende said healing Ash like he did Paul.
In a few moments, Ash would fully restored with his energy returned and injuries fully healed.
Like Paul, Ash felt stronger from a Zenkai boost from the damaged he got.
Goku got his injuries healed up next.
"Wow, thank you, I really appreciate it." Goku said feeling better.
"Don't mention it, I'm honored to be able to help." Dende said as he finished healing Goku.
Once that was done and Piccolo restoring Goku's and the boys Gi's with his clothes beam, they were told of the situation so the boys know of the enemy they face.
"We're unaware of the Supreme Kai's whereabouts though we faintly detect he's alive, we just brought back the little one's here to recuperate when you and Ash showed up." Piccolo explained as Goku had his head done.
"Gohan, the Supreme Kai, even Vegeta, all gone, what kind of monster are we dealing with!?" Goku questioned with anger as Ash was angry too, knowing this monster Buu was responsible for his brothers defeat.
"Majin Buu's power level continues to increase at a rate unlike any enemy we've ever encountered before, if we can't stop him from destroying the world, their will be nothing to prevent him wiping out every last trace of life in the universe." Piccolo said knowing things were bad.
"Don't be such a downer Piccolo, of course we can stop Buu now that Goku's alive, oh sorry the halo, what I meant to say was that you maybe dead, but but at least your not dead dead, not like Vegeta and Gohan, oh stupid Krillin, think before you speak, Goku you're the only one left who can take on Majin Buu, so what are you waiting for, him to shove his pugging pink face up in yours, come on show that creep a little of the old kamehameha." Krillin explained.
"Krillin, it's impossible, I just can't beat him alone." Goku said knowing this was how things were gonna go.
"Huh, but why?" Krillin asked wondering why he wouldn't be able to win.
"He's simply too powerful an opponent." Goku said for a fact.
"Even for you?" Krillin asked again.
"Look, when me and Vegeta were fighting the two weren't evenly matched, he was actually stronger than me, he gave it everything he had even his life and he still couldn't beat that thing." Goku explained as he knew in their fight, Vegeta had the advantage.
Krillin looked down hearing this.
"So what chance do I have of against him." Goku said knowing he couldn't win right now.
Piccolo, Dende and Mr Popo looked at Goku in disbelief.
"If you can't, what hope do we have Goku." Krillin said sadly, losing hope.
"If only Vegeta hadn't been so arrogant, thinking he could take on Buu alone, he'd still be alive and we could work together!" Goku said thinking if Vegeta was still alive, they could used something that would've helped.
"No, don't punish yourself like this, it wouldn't have made any difference, not even an army of Super Saiyan's could've...Piccolo was interrupted by Goku.
"I was going to say that if Vegeta or Gohan were still alive, we could've done a Fusion." Goku said putting his words out.
"Fusa, like the color of my shirt well sort of." Krillin said thinking that was what Goku meant.
"No Fusion." Goku corrected Krillin.
"Ah Fusion, you mean a merger?" Dende asked realizing what Goku was talking about as said Saiyan stood up.
"Yeah, that's it Dende." Goku said glad somebody got it.
"Oh I've heard of such a skill back on Namek, a man from Metamor once told me about it, their people are profession at the technique." Dende said understanding what Goku was talking with such a technique.
"That's true, the metamorans I met in Other World are the ones that showed me how to do it." Goku said glad to have been taught how to do it.
"So what is it already?" Krillin asked gaining hope back.
"Yeah Dad, tell us, we want to know." Ash said wanting to know what Fusion was.
"It's an ancient merger art that can be performed between two people of similar size and physically ability." Goku explained as Krillin looked confused.
"You wanna try that again." Krillin said confused.
"It's when two people combine to form an entirely new being that's able to do neither could do alone, like stopping a evil creature that's out to destroy the world and everyone in it." Goku said as Krillin started to get it.
"That sounds cool." Ash said thinking the technique was amazing.
Paul even started thinking this technique was useful from hearing what it can do.
"Now that I think about it, you and Nail were sort of a Fusion too weren't you?" Dende asked to Piccolo who nodded.
"Yes we were of a sort, Nail had been badly wounded by Frieza when I found him, he was dying, and as his final act he wished to impart his powers to me, I was reluctant to join with him at first but his promise of greater power proved to be quite persuasive, when it was over Nail's body had vanished, though I could still sense his presence in me, I felt his strength and wisdom, so fresh and invigorating yet familiar as though it had been in my finger tips all along, I stood up reborn, knowing I was fully capable of avenging Nail by taking on Frieza or any other villain that dare to cross my path." Piccolo explained as he remembered who Nail had merged with him in order to avenged the Namekian people.
"The Namekian Fusion you experienced Piccolo is actually quite different than the Metamorans variety, which is the process that I learned in Other World, the way I know is only temporary and instead of one body playing host, a new hybrid is formed, made up of characteristics from both people, they transform into a single warrior capable of incredible power and strength." Goku told know a Fusion would be the best bet against Buu.
"Yes, that is different but it seems the end result is the same, I know when I fused with Nail my power increased exponentially, so if Gohan or Vegeta were still alive you could perform one of those temporary Fusions with them, couldn't you and then in your form you would've been able to defeat Majin Buu." Piccolo said thinking this could've been a breakthrough for them if Gohan or Vegeta were alive but they weren't.
"Nah, it probably wouldn't have worked out so nicely even if Gohan or Vegeta were alive, it would take about a week to show them what to do, but I'm only here on Earth for this one day, not to mention that, even though I know how these Fusions work in theory, I've never taught somebody else how to do it, and believe it or not I've never actually been to try out a Fusion in practice, no one in Other World is similar enough to me to be compatible, so yeah so much for that, it was just a crazy idea." Gooku explained and laughed nervously at the end.
"Wait Goku no it's not." Krillin said getting his attention.
"What are you thinking about Krillin?" Goku asked.
"You said you were about to go back to the Other World right, and if Gohan and Vegeta are really dead, then that's where they are, they must be dead too right, so you can do a Fusion when them once you get back there!" Krillin said thinking Goku could just meet Gohan or Vegeta in Other World.
"That's right, now that's a great idea." Goku said agreeing with this.
"Impossible, once Goku leaves this world he won't be able to return, the Fusion would still do us no good." Piccolo said making them realize that, they were out of options now.
Or were they.
"The young ones sleeping, Goten and Trunks are almost exactly the same sizes aren't they, Ash and Paul are as well, could they do a Fusion?" Mr Popo asked getting everyone's attention.
"Is that possible?" Krillin asked to Goku as Ash and Paul looked a little surprise at hearing they could do a Fusion as Goku looked excited.
"Yeah, thank you Mr Popo, you know that just might work!" Goku said as hope might still be there.
"Really Goku!" Dende was happy to hear this.
"Mr Popo I love you, you're a genius, give it up for Mr Popo the genius, but Goku do you think there's enough time to teach them?" Krillin asked to Goku.
"No I'll work with them as long as I can, but they're gonna need more time than I got, someone else is gonna pick up the slack, Piccolo do you think you'll able to finish instructing the boys after I'm gone?" Goku asked to the Namekian warrior.
"I'll try, are you two up to this?" Piccolo asked to the two boys out here with them.
Ash nodded and Paul took little longer but he eventually nodded as well showing that he was in.
"Woohoo, Ash and Paul and Goten and Trunks will show Majin Buu who's boss, he won't even know what hit him!" Krillin said knowing they all had a good chance now.
"Not so fast Krillin, according to Goku it will take some time before they master the art of Fusion and are ready to make their attack, meanwhile many innocent people will be lost in the wake of Majin Buu's destruction, I'm talking about total annihilation, everything and everyone on this planet wiped out, it's a gamble so we must prepare ourselves for anything that comes our way until the boys have mastered Fusion and are ready to go." Piccolo said as Krillin gulped and took a stern look.
"Your right but I'm confident these 4 can learn how to do this and we can always use the Dragon Balls to clean up the damage in the end." Goku said knowing there was many risks coming along.
"You think we still have a chance?" Krillin asked to his best friend.
"We can't ever give up hope you guys and right now, Ash, Paul, Trunks and Goten are the world's best hope, we should by now not to underestimate the young, especially when they're a couple of Super Saiyans." Goku said.
He placed his hand on Ash's head.
"So Son, you ready to take the world into your hands?" Goku asked to his youngest son.
"Yeah Dad, I'm ready, I wanna avenge Gohan." Ash said wanting to fight for the spirit of his fallen big brother.
Paul didn't say anything but he would be fighting to avenge his father's death.
"Alright, I'm gonna go get everybody and bring them back here." Krillin said ready to get get everyone.
"Good." Piccolo said.
"Good luck Krillin." Goku said as Krillin started to run off.
But he stopped when he and everyone else noticed the sky turned dark.
"Is it daylight savings time already and somebody forgot to tell me?" Krillin asked wondering what was happening.
Ash and Paul were lost as well, never seeing this happening out of nowhere.
"Oh no, why has it suddenly gone dark?" Goku asked looking around.
"Not good." Piccolo said having a good idea why this happened.
Dende and Mr Popo did as well.
"Someone's released Shenron, who and why?" Goku asked wondering who did this as they need the Dragon Balls for later use.
"My money's on Bulma, who else could gather those Dragon Balls so fast, but she can't know about everything that's happened so why call the dragon now?" Krillin asked wondering why Bulma would call Shenron.
"Ugh, she knows Vegeta slaughtered a lot of innocent people at the Martial Arts stadium today, Bulma must be trying to bring them back to life." Goku said realizing what Bulma was going to wish for.
"Oh no, that'll ruin everything, once two wishes are fulfilled we'll have to wait a whole year before we can make another one!" Dende said making everyone react in shock and fear knowing that the one thing that reverse everything would be out of reach and had no time to wait for it again.
"Alright then, I'll just have to go and stop her...darn Bulma's lifeforce is difficult for me to trace, everything just feels so clouded right now on Earth." Goku said trying to find Bulma's Ki.
Goku continued to focus until...
"Ah, I got her!" Goku said as he transported away to Bulma's location.
He hopes he makes it in time to stop her.
Hey guys, DragonForceAsh aka zenotai123 here with another update for you.
Well Vegeta had gone to face Buu but didn't end up very well.
Saying goodbye to his son, Vegeta knocks him out and tells Piccolo to take the boys away.
Piccolo reveals to Vegeta that he won't end up in the same place as Goku and Vegeta accepts that.
Once gone, Vegeta sacrifices himself in a large explosion to kill Buu.
After that, Babidi is killed but Buu remains alive.
they all retreat to the Lookout where Goku and Ash soon arrives to the Lookout for ideas.
Coming to a conclusion of Goku to use a technique called Fusion.
But before all that, Goku must stop Bulma from using Shenron's power.
Will Goku stop her in stop?
And will this Fusion technique be enough to defeat Buu?
You'll have to find out on the next chapter of From Trainers to Saiyan Warriors!
P.S. if your wondering why Babidi didn't survive, it's simple in my opinion, in canon, Piccolo was gonna do it anyway but was stopped seeing Buu's pieces moving around alive and had to escape, In my opinion, since Vegeta was stronger his final explosion was a bit more potent so it delayed Buu's regeneration a bit longer, so if Piccolo had not seen Buu's pieces moving, he would've destroyed Babidi right then and there, think about that.
