Goku had arrived at Capsule Corp to stop Bulma from making a wish but arrived all too late.
"I MUST HAVE YOUR SECOND WISH NOW." Shenron the wish granting dragon spoke out loud.
"Did he say second wish, oh no I'm too late!" Goku said in shock, this was bad.
"Oh uh Goku." Bulma said wondering when he got here.
"Goku." Roshi said surprised to see his old student here so quickly.
"Goku where on Earth have you been, and where is Gohan and Goten and Ash!?" ChiChi questioned to her husband wondering where their children were.
"ChiChi there's no time to explain, please trust me." Goku said as he put a finger to his forehead.
He needed to tell Dende about what just happened.
"Dende can you hear me?" Goku asked to the Guardian.
"Yes." Dende responded from the Lookout.
"I arrived too late, the dragon has already fulfilled their first wish and now he wants to know what their second one is, what should I do?" Goku asked wondering what the best course of action was now.
"Then their is still hope, tell Shenron that you want to save the other wish for another time, if only one wish has been granted then we can use that wish again when only 4 months has passed!" Dende said knowing that their was still hope in using the Dragon Balls this way.
"Alright, I'll take care of that, oh and you guys I can't believe I almost forgot, I'm bringing you all back with me once I'm finished with my business here so get ready." Goku said to the others knowing they weren't safe here with all that's going on.
"We'll prepare for you for your return Goku." Dende said cutting the link to their conversation.
"Thanks, Shenron you don't have to grant anymore wishes today thank you, we'll call you again sometimes!" Goku called out to the wish granting Dragon.
"AS YOU WISH, FAREWELL!" Shenron stated as he glowed and disappeared and the Dragon Balls all went into the sky and scattered into 7 different directions.
"You wanna tell me what's gotten into you Goku, we still had a perfectly good wish we could've used to help?" Yamcha questioned to the dead fighter.
Goku explained real quick of what's going to happened to the others.
"So their you go, now if you'll all come back with me to the Lookout we can all start making preparations." Goku said knowing it was time to go to the Lookout now.
"That's fine, I'll just have to track down 7 Dragon Balls again in 4 months which shouldn't be a problem." Bulma said knowing she'll have to hunt them down again.
"That's the spirit, now everyone, as long as you're connected to me we can all travel by Instant Transmission." Goku said knowing this technique is the fastest way to get back to the Lookout.
"This is like some wonderful fantasy land just when I think it can't possibly get any weirder it does." Videl thought as things just kept getting weirder for her.
Everyone started too grab hold of Goku.
"Please remain standing in a upright position fasten the person next to you." Goku said as Bulma's parents wouldn't grab hold.
"Mom, Dad what are you waiting for, hold on to my hand quick or you'll get left behind!" Bulma said trying to get her parents to come along.
"Your mother and I just can't bring ourselves to leave the little ones, we're wait here for your return." Dr Briefs said with a smile.
"Will you two stop being so naïve and open your eyes, is it really worth risking both your lives just to stay here and feed and clean your stinking precious pets!" Bulma said with her voice breaking down.
"Remember, even if we meet a horrible tragic gruesome and grotece end by the hands of this Majin Buu you can always bring us back to life with the Dragon Balls, don't try and argue, we made up our minds." Ms. Briefs said to her daughter.
"But Mom, Goku, say something." Bulma pleaded for Goku to say something to change the minds of her parents as Goku smiled sadly.
"Bulma your pretty good at finding Dragon Balls when you really need to so don't worry." Goku said as Bulma nodded.
"Oh you don't want to transport with us Videl?" ChiChi said noticing that Videl wasn't holding on.
"Nonono, I'm going I'm going!" Videl said running to grab Bulma's hand.
"We're ready for liftoff." Goku said as he put two fingers to his forehead and disappeared back to the Lookout using Instant Transmission.
(The Lookout)
Once the group arrived, some were glad to see each other again.
ChiChi and Bulma hugged their sons happy they were okay after seeing them rush off out of the Tournament arena earlier.
Krillin held his daughter in his arms again.
"So Bulma, what did you do with your parents?" Krillin asked as he didn't see the parents of Bulma here.
"They couldn't bring themselves to their stupid pets, they said even if they meet their horrible gruesome end to the hands of Majin Buu I can bring them back with the Dragon Balls." Bulma said irritated that she couldn't convince her parents to come along.
"Logic must be genetic." Krillin said as he held his daughter his his arms.
"You really think so?" Bulma asked wondering if that was true.
"It's too dangerous down there, if I only knew where Tien and Chiaotzu were, I'd tell them to come up here." Krillin said having no idea where the three eyed fighter was and his best friend were.
"That's very interesting, now where they you say Goten and Gohan are?" ChiChi asked wondering where her sons were.
Ash was here so where were Goten and Gohan.
Krillin looked nervous.
"And what about my Trunks and Vegeta." Bulma asked wondering where her oldest son and husband were.
Paul was here so where were the other two.
Krillin looked even more nervous now.
Piccolo, Ash and Paul all were quiet when this was asked.
Piccolo and Paul remembering the explosion in the distance thanks to Vegeta.
"Goku, where are my son's?" ChiChi asked wondering where the rest of her family were.
Goku stood quietly with a serious face.
"Come on Goku." Krillin said knowing it was time to tell the group the truth.
"What I have to tell you isn't easy for me to say, right now but, Goten and Trunks are going to be alright but Gohan and Vegeta are dead." Goku said as ChiChi, Bulma and Videl's faces turned to shock.
As did all the others.
"Majin Buu destroyed them both." Goku told.
"But Gohan, he can't be, he just can't..." Videl just didn't know how to comprehend this information.
ChiChi just fainted on the spot hearing her oldest was gone.
Bulma had tears in her eyes.
"Vegeta NO VEGETA!" Bulma cried to the into the sky.
"Bulma, pull yourself together, Bulma." Yamcha said trying to calm the blue haired women down.
"ChiChi/Mom!" Goku and Ash said to the unconscious ChiChi.
"No!" Bulma continued to yell out.
"ChiChi." Ox-king said to his unconscious daughter.
"How can this be, I love him Gohan." Videl said quietly as tears fell to the ground.
"Well well well, y'know it's never easy dealing with the loss of love ones." Korin said somehow making it to the Lookout.
"Hey Korin." Goku said seeing one of his old teachers.
"But I'm afraid their's no time for mourning Goku, you have to take action even in this place, none of you are gonna be safe for long, from what I've seen Majin Buu's power can soon globbal up this whole world." Korin said as things got quiet because of that.
But Piccolo spoke up.
"Goku what about the Fusion?" Piccolo asked reminding Goku of the Technique meant to help them.
"Good thinking, Mr Popo, would you wake up Goten and Trunks?" Goku asked to the assistant of the Guardian of Earth.
"Of course." Mr Popo said walking into the Palace.
"I'll go too." Ash said running after Mr Popo.
"I'll head there too, their's no time so I'll get my brother up since I know him better." Paul said walking after the two.
Suddenly, the fighters who could sense power felt a strange drop of energy in a city nearby.
"Hey did you feel that?" Krillin asked suddenly sensing a lot of lower powers disappear.
"Yeah I do, but what is it, what's happening." Piccolo said as Dende ran to the edge of the Lookout and sees what's happening.
"Oh no, it's majin Buu!" Dende said making them all look at him.
"What, what did he do?" Goku asked wondering what Majin Buu did.
"It's the people of a city, he turned them all into candy and ate them like it was nothing!" Dende said knowing lots of innocent lives were taken just like that."" Dende said knowing things were getting worse and worse by the moment.
"This is bad, we need to prepare now." Goku said knowing lives were going to be taken while they were trying to prepare the boys for the Fusion Technique.
Inside the Palace, Mr Popo brought Ash and Paul into the room where they saw their brothers sleeping on the bed.
"Time to wake them up." Paul said walking up to the bed to wake them up.
"Yep." Ash said knowing they needed all the time they could get and now they couldn't waste any.
"Wake up!" Paul said slapping his brother in the face causing Trunks to wake up franticly.
"Huh, what, what's happening!" Trunks said waking up from the hard slap he got.
"I'm happening now get up." Paul said making Trunks turn to him and calmed down.
"Paul it's you, wait where am I?" Trunks said not recognizing the Lookout.
"Don't worry about it, we'll explain everything." Paul said as Ash walked over to Goten.
"Goten, it's time to eat." Ash said to his brother who's eyes popped opened real quick.
"Yeah let's eat!" Goten said waking up real quick hearing that food was here.
"Well you're awake now." Ash said as Goten looked around.
"Huh, what did you say, hey where is this?" Goten said not knowing where he was.
"I don't know, don't ask me." Trunks said not knowing where they were.
"Well it sure looks nice, hey look that plate sure looks expensive." Goten said seeing a plate that looks expensive.
"Oh who cares about that, I wanna know what we're doing here, huh hey wait we're my dad!?" Trunks stated suddenly remembering what happened earlier.
"Oh yeah, we were with him." Goten said remembering too.
"That's right." Trunks said knowing something had happened.
Vegeta had knocked them both out.
"So then, he isn't here?" Goten asked as Trunks shook his head.
"But I, I think we should check this place out." Trunks said forgetting they had their brothers nearby.
"Oh no you don't, we don't have time for this, come on." Paul said grabbing his brother by his Gi and dragging him.
"Hey, what are you doing!" Trunks said getting dragged.
"Come on Goten, Dad will explain everything to you guys." Ash said walking after Paul.
"Hey wait up." Goten said as they all walked out of the room and eventually ran into Goku.
"Hey, you got them, great, now we can get started." Goku said as Trunks and Goten looked confused.
"Huh, get started with what?" Trunks looked confused and so did Goten.
"Look you two, something bad has happened and I need you two to follow me, I'll explain when we get to where we need to be." Goku said walking away as Ash and Paul followed and Goten and Trunks afterwards.
Soon afterwards, once getting to another place on the Lookout, Goku explained what had happened to Gohan and Vegeta and safe to say, the reactions were understandable.
"What, no that can't be, that could never happen to my Dad, no way no!" Trunks cried trying to repress the tears coming out.
"Whaa, my brother's not dead!" Goten cried not bothering to stop his tears.
"Stop that, we don't have time for this now, we've got a lot of work to do and you'll have to learn some new skills fast, you got it, I know that might seem harsh but their s a chance that Majin Buu might find this place soon, so I want all 4 of you to start practicing right away!" Goku said knowing this wasn't time to cry as Goten and Trunks turned back to him with tears still coming out.
Ash and Paul didn't as they were told this earlier and has accepted it by this point.
"What about the Hyperbolic Time Chamber?" Piccolo asked wondering why they don't use that.
"No, that room can only be used twice in a lifetime, I'm sure in the future we're going to have to use it again." Goku said knowing they might need the chamber again so it's best not to use it until the time is right.
"Hmm." Piccolo accepted this response.
"We'll be just fine, if I'm right about these 4 they should be able to master the Fusion Technique in no time, now let's begin, you'll have to learn this pretty quick too Piccolo." Goku said as Piccolo nodded.
"Good luck you guys, you're going to need it." Krillin said from a far.
Trunks and Goten were still sniffing their tears.
"I said stop that, their will be no more tears from now on, you will have to tough to stop Majin Buu!" Goku stated as Trunks and Goten reigned in their tears and looked serious.
Ash and Paul had both been serious from the start.
"Good let's begin, now remember even if the Fusion is successful it will only last for 30 minutes, once that time's up your bodies will separate and you guys will return to normal and then you won't be able to do another Fusion for awhile, you following me." Goku explained more about the Fusion Technique.
"Bah, 30 minutes isn't long enough for this kind of fight." Piccolo said thinking that they needed more time than just 30 minutes.
"Actually it is, as long they do the Fusion correctly a half an hour all they'll need to take down Majin Buu, this technique really is that powerful, okay now, the 4 of you to become Super Saiyans for this." Goku said but Goten and Trunks looked angry for some reason.
Goku was confused.
"Huh, what's wrong?" Goku asked wondering what was wrong with these two.
"Listen we wanna know, you're suppose to be the strongest guy in the universe or something right, so why weren't you there, why weren't you there to save Gohan or my Dad?" Trunks asked wondering why Goku didn't help.
"I'm sorry Trunks." Goku said.
"What you're sorry, you could've helped, 'I sorry' isn't gonna bring back my Dad!" Trunks said thinking that 'I sorry' is just an excuse.
"Gohan always told me that you could do anything so why didn't you save him from that Buu monster. why didn't you save him?" Goten said feeling anger.
Goku stood quietly.
"Don't just stand there, say something." Piccolo said wanting Goku to say something.
"What can I say, look I wish I was strongest guy in the universe then I could've helped, but I'm not, I can't beat Majin Buu but with the Fusion technique I know the 4 of you can, if you'll trust me and you're willing to learn what I have to show you we can still get that monster for all the terrible things he's done." Goku said hoping the boys didn't change their minds about the Fusion technique.
"I'm game." Trunks said knowing he was willing to do anything to get back at the monster who caused all this.
"Okay." Goten said.
"Good stop whining." Paul said making them look at him."
"Huh but Paul." Trunks didn't get to finish.
"I knew Dad better than you Trunks, I can assure you that he wouldn't have wanted Goku's help anyway, from what he's always explain to me, he would've died first before ever doing that." Paul explained knowing their father had a lot of pride.
Trunks looked down knowing that was was probably true since his dad always talked about pride to maybe Paul wasn't wrong.
"Okay, so now that that's taken care of, Dad, are you gonna explain more about how this Fusion is done?" Ash asked wondering to learn the technique already.
"Right, the Fusion technique is kinda like a dance, you have to perform it specific series of movements and your timing has to be right on, it's not that difficult to learn but it does take a lot of practice so if you're ready we'll begin." Goku said as the 4 boys stayed quiet.
It was quiet for a moment.
"Come on guys what's wrong?" Goku asked wondering what was wrong now.
"Y'know I don't think this Fusion stuff is as great as you say." Trunks said thinking it sounds kinda stupid now.
"Why don't you just give it a shot." Goku said knowing this needs to happen in order to win.
"Okay but it sounds kinda stupid if you ask me, I mean it's not like we're gonna beat Majin Buu by dancing on him." Trunks said lowly.
"That's enough Trunks, now all you go Super Saiyan." Goku said wanting to see their power levels.
"Fine whatever." Trunks said as Ash and Paul walked to side to get some space from Goten and Trunks.
Once they did, they all turned into Super Saiyans.
"Okay now we're getting somewhere, next step raise your levels as high as you can go." Goku said wanting to see them all at their highest.
"Heh, well he asked for it, right." Trunks smirked at Goten.
"Yeah." Goten said as Ash and Paul watched on, wanting to see where they're brothers were before they show off their power.
Goten and Trunks yelled as they powered.
Outside of the palace, dust and waves were showing as Videl and the others saw it.
Goten and Trunks showed off how much power they had blowing wind.
"Ah amazing and at their age." Piccolo said impressed by the boys power.
"Good now raise it to your maximum." Goku ordered thinking they had more to show off.
"We did." Goten and Trunks said together.
"Oh, in that case, Trunks your levels are a little too high, if you want the Fusion to work both of your power levels must be exactly the same, Trunks take your's down a bit to match Goten's." Goku ordered knowing the two must match perfectly for things to go right.
"Right, take it down a bit, so something like this." Trunks said shrinking his aura below that of Goten's.
"No that's too low, little bit more, more, more, there, their perfect, remember how that feels, that's exactly where you guys want to be, alright back to normal." Goku said as Goten and Trunks powered down as Ash and Paul waited to show off their power.
"Ugh, that's pretty tough, but why do I have to do all the work, why can't Goten raise his level to match mine?" Trunks asked wondering what the deal was.
"I'm sorry I couldn't." Goten said feeling bad.
"It's okay son, Trunks is older than you so it's only natural that he's a little bit stronger too." Goku said knowing it was natural that Trunks is stronger.
"Dad, you forgot about me and Paul." Ash said getting everyone's attention.
"Oh that's right, well you two, let's see what you have, I can already tell you two surpass Goten and Trunks but that's not everything you have right?" Goku asked as the two younger boys nodded.
"That's right." Paul told wanting to show off all his power.
"Alright like Goten and Trunks did, raise your powers as high as you can." Goku said as the boys nodded.
"Ha!" They both powered up causing the Lookout to shake for a moment.
Krillin felt a lot of power being thrown around from the boys.
Piccolo, Goten and Trunks looked shocked at the energy that Ash and Paul were letting out.
Ash and Paul's energy felt far stronger than they did earlier in the tournament.
Ash and Paul looked smug releasing all of their power in their Super Saiyan forms.
"Good now raise it to your maximum." Goku ordered as Piccolo has a pretty good idea what the boys were gonna do next.
Like Goku he felt the power the boys were unleashing earlier before he was turned to stone by Dabura.
"Alright, in order to do that, we have to go to the next level." Ash said surprising their Goten and Trunks.
"Yeah, you want us to go beyond Super Saiyan to show you everything we've got." Paul said knowing what to do next.
"Right, show me everything." Goku said as the boys looked at each other and nodded.
They both started powering up creating a lot of wind from their aura's exploding out making Goten and Trunks have to cover themselves as did Piccolo.
Goku had to stand his ground as well.
"HAA!" Ash and Paul yelled out as their auras grew and gained electricity around them, their hairs got spikier went more serious expressions on their faces.
The shock wave of this caused the Lookout to shake hard causing some people to fall to the ground.
"Amazing!" Piccolo said knowing he helped Ash reached Super Saiyan 2 yesterday but to feel it being this powerful was another thing, he was surprised Paul had reached Super Saiyan 2 as well.
Right now, the boys were at their full power.
"Amazing boys, that's incredible, now only are you at tip top shape but you've even reached Super Saiyan 2, heck I can tell that you two are even stronger than me and Vegeta were when we were fighting earlier." Goku said feeling completely confident about the Fusion with these two.
"So are we good enough to do the Fusion?" Ash said with electricity sparking around his form.
"Yeah you are, unlike Goten and Trunks, you two are completely evenly matched, no lower or raising for either of you two, you're completely compatible for Fusion." Goku said knowing that the two boys didn't have a problem and could create a perfect Fusion.
"Good, no more of this then." Paul said as he and Ash powered down without a problem.
"You're right Paul, now we can truly get into it." Goku said before they all heard the door open.
Revealing Bulma looking mad.
"Excuse me Goku, but I don't want you doing anything in here that's going to hurt my sons." Bulma said walking in as Krillin ran ahead of her.
"Bulma no wait." Krillin said stopping her.
"Let me through." Bulma said needing to talking with Goku.
"You can't disturb their training." Krillin said grabbing her fist.
"I certainly can!" Bulma said taking off.
"You can't go!" Krillin said trying to get her to stop.
"I am going!" Bulma insisted.
"You can't." Krillin said.
"I am." Bulma kept insisting.
"Sorry about this Bulma." Krillin said as he grabbed Bulma and hoisted her over his shoulder.
"Oh Mom." Trunks said feeling embarrassed by his mother.
"This is all kinds of ridiculous." Paul said face-palming this.
"Krillin, you put me down, I have every right to be in here, let go of me now!" Bulma stated as Krillin walked her out of the room and closed the door before letting her down.
"I'm just following orders." Krillin said trying to calm her rage.
"You guys are just too pig-headed to think that your training could benefit from a women's tough." Bulma said as she walked away.
Krillin breathed a sigh of relief.
"I wanna try it again, what about you Trunks." Goten said to his best friend.
"I'm ready." Trunks said ready to give it another go.
"Haha, those kids, reminds me of me and Goku, aw those were the days." Krillin said remembering when training with Master Roshi and Goku.
To Krillin those were the good old days.
A little while later, Goku was explaining more and more about the Fusion.
And this time, he needed to see Goten and Trunks power up this time with Ash and Paul not needed as they proved they were compatible already.
"This time I want you to power up as much as you can without actually foing Super Saiyan, it'd be easier to concentrate on learning if you're not under so much physically strain." Goku said but was interrupted when Bulma rushed into the room.
"Goku it's terrible!" Bulma stated in alarm.
"Bulma what's wrong?" Goku asked wondering what the problem was.
"It's Dende, he's been watching Majin Buu while you guys were training, but now, he just told us that Majin Buu was heading towards West City!" Bulma said as Goku and the others understood what the problem was now.
"Darn, I can't let him get there, my Grandma and Grandpa are still at home!" Trunks said feeling angry that Majin Buu was heading towards his home city.
"Are you going?" Goten asked to his friend.
"Goku you have to do something, my Mother and Father are going to be killed!" Bulma said knowing they needed to do something right now.
"Don't worry about it, we can just bring them back with the Dragon Balls." Goku said thinking of the positives of this news.
"And everyone else in the city, what about them?" Bulma asked thinking he wasn't taking this seriously.
"We can bring everyone else back to normal with the second wish." Goku said thinking the Dragon Balls could restore things.
"That's impossible, don't forget, we've already used our first wish to bring everyone back from the tournament, which only leaves us with one wish to repair the rest of Majin Buu's ruin." Piccolo told knowing they only had one wish to spare right now.
"Oh yeah, I guess your right there, hmm, I've got an idea, I betcha if we asked really nice, Shenron will let us wish for 2 new wishes." Goku said thinking that could work.
Goten and Trunks looked at each other unsure and Ash and Paul just sweatdropped at this thinking that's not how it works.
"Would that work?" Piccolo asked thinking that sounded strange.
"Sure why not." Goku said casually.
"Well, I suppose it wouldn't hurt anything to ask him." Piccolo said going along with this.
"Listen, if we let Majin Buu get to the West City and destroy it, then he'll destroy the Dragon Radar Goku." Bulma said making Goku and Piccolo realize the problem now.
If they lose the Dragon Radar, they lose any hope of finding the Dragon Balls.
"Yeah, that does pose a problem, Trunks listen up, I need you to go to Capsule Corp and bring back the Radar." Goku told to the young fighter what he wanted him to do.
"Huh." Trunks said a little confused.
"While you do that, I'll get in front of Majin Buu and try to slow him down." Goku said knowing all he needed to do was buy time for Trunks to get the Radar.
"Are you sure about that, he's pretty tough you know, he's gonna wanna fight back?" Trunks asked wondering of Goku's just gonna get his butt kicked.
"Yeah but you let me worry about him, I'll be okay, now hurry up before he gets ahead of you." Goku said knowing he had a trick up his sleeve to help hold off Buu.
Trunks nodded.
"Trunks you've gotta promise, please come back here if things get to dangerous for you." Bulma said wanting her son to be safe in case things go wrong.
"I promise." Trunks agreed.
"You fly fast and get back here safe." Goten encouraged his friend.
"You got it." Trunks said to his friend as he looked towards his brother.
Paul only gave a nod in response as Trunks ran out.
Before he stopped and looked back to them.
"Good luck Trunks." Goku waved.
"I wonder if I should even leave." Trunks thought as he looked back.
Goku waving to him.
"Eh they'll be fine." Trunks said as he ran out of the palace.
Running towards the edge of the Lookout and turning Super Saiyan.
"Right time to fly." Trunks said as he jumped off the Lookout and flew fast towards his home.
Bulma looked on, seeing her first born fly off.
Goku walked up to her and placed a hand on her shoulder.
"Don't worry Bulma, Trunks is a resourceful little guy, he'll be alright.." Goku encouraged to his oldest friend.
"I know." Bulma said but she could still worry about her son.
"No I mean it, Vegeta isn't the only one of his parents he takes after you know." Goku said cheering up his friend.
"Thank you." Bulma said thankful to Goku as said Saiyan walked to Goten.
"Goten, Ash, Paul, I want you three to stay here and hold down the fort for me okay?" Goku asked to the three boys.
"K." Goten said.
"We can handle it." Ash said knowing they would protect the place while his dad was gone.
"No problem." Paul said as with their strength, it should be easy to protect the place.
"Good, your good boys." Goku said as he rubbed Goten's head before placing two fingers to his forehead.
Piccolo and the boys watched while he did this.
"That's it." Goku said as he suddenly disappeared using Instant Transmission.
A minute or two later, they felt Goku's energy rise out of nowhere.
"I can feel my Dad's energy." Goten said suddenly feeling Goku's energy burst open.
"I know, your father is an incredible man Goten, you as well Ash." Piccolo said to Goten and Ash.
"Yeah I just this mess gets over with quickly, I really want to fight my dad if this is what he's got." Ash said really wanted to fight his father like he wanted to do at the tournament.
(Above a city)
Trunks stopped in mid-air sensing Goku's energy rise.
"Whoa unreal, I can sense Goten and Ash's dad from all the way over here, he must be as strong as my dad." Trunks said knowing that not only was his dad, brother and Ash were above him but now Goku was as well.
(Sky)
Goku floated in front of Majin Buu in Super Saiyan 2 as Buu laughed his usual goofy laugh.
"You look like that other guy that Buu beat, but that won't work on Buu." Buu said as he was sure that he could beat Goku like this if he could beat Vegeta.
"I'm guessing an Ascended Super Saiyan isn't much of a challenge for you Buu, so how about I take it up to the next level." Goku said as Buu watched on.
Suddenly Goku realized that Trunks energy has stopped moving.
"What, why is Trunks sitting sitting still, I don't have time for him to stop and check out the scenery, he better hurry, I don't want to go beyond the second level if I don't have to, Dende can you hear me?" Goku asked in his head hoping Dende could hear him.
"Yes Goku I can, what's happening?" Dende asked wondering what the problem was.
"It's Trunks, he's stopped moving towards Capsule Corps, we don't have time for him to stop, can you tell him I said to keep moving and don't worry about me, every second counts." Goku said in his head as he kept his eyes on Majin Buu just in case he tried to do something.
"Okay I'll tell him, good luck Goku." Dende said as he cut the link to their chat.
"Right." Goku said.
(Above a city)
"Man that's some some power, maybe I should go and help." Trunks said wondering if he should and help Goku in this fight.
"Trunks, can you hear me?" Dende's voice said coming out of nowhere making the boy look around.
"Huh Dende, is that you?" Trunks asked wondering where he was.
"Yes it's me, look Goku noticed you stopped moving towards your destination, he said to keep moving and don't worry about him, every second counts, don't stop heading towards Capsule Corps, we're counting on you to get the Dragon Radar." Dende said as Trunks hesitated but decided to keep going.
"Alright I'll keep going." Trunks said before flying on ahead again.
"Good, see you back on the Lookout." Dende said as he cut the link.
(Sky)
Goku felt Trunks on the move again.
"Good, now things can go right again." Goku said knowing he could focus on Buu again.
(With Trunks)
"Guess that settles that, guess Goten's dad got it under control." Trunks said flying ahead.
(Sky)
"But I still need to buy some more time, guess I'll have to give Buu a demonstration." Goku thought as he suddenly powered down to his base form.
"Why you go down, you know play?" Buu asked wondering why the orange man powered down.
"We'll get to that, first I thought I take a minute to teach you a thing or 2 about Super Saiyan, starting with the basics." Goku said doing this to buy time for Trunks.
"Super...Saiya jin?" Buu questioned wondering what that was.
"You're going to love this trust me, what your seeing now is my normal state." Goku said to Buu in his base state.
Suddenly he powered up to his Super Saiyan state with his golden hair and aura.
"This is a Super Saiyan and this..." Goku trailed off.
Before powering up to Super Saiyan 2 with his hair spikier and had electricity sparking around his form.
"This is what is known as a Super Saiyan that has ascended past a Super Saiyan or, you can just call this a Super Saiyan 2." Goku explained to the monster.
Buu nodded hearing this and seeing this.
"But just wait Buu." Goku said as he had one more trick up his sleeve.
He suddenly started powering up.
"And this is to EVEN FURTHER BEYOND AHHHHHH!" Goku screamed as he powered up.
On the Lookout, Piccolo, Ash, Paul, Goten and Krillin could feel Goku's power rising dramatically.
Goku getting surround by an orb of Ki.

"No stop it Goku, if you do this now it's going to drain away all the time you have left on Earth and I say you need every second as of it as it is." King Kai said seeing what's happening on Earth with Goku.
(The Lookout)
The Lookout itself was shaking from the power Goku was unleashing.
"It's unreal, how is he generating that much power!?" Piccolo questioned at how much power Goku was emitting at this moment.
"Do it Dad." Goten said rooting his father.
"This can't be, where was he hiding all of this power?" Ash asked just as shocked, he thought he was stronger than his father but he guess he was wrong.
"This is insane." Trunks said sensing all the power and it was incredible.
"It's too much!" Krillin said sensing all the power from his best friend as well.
(with Trunks)
Trunks stopped sensing all of this power.
"What's going on, Goten and Ash's dad is putting out even more energy than before... I should go, I don't want to get yelled for stopping again." Trunks said flying off again.
(Sky)
Goku screamed his lungs out as his power grew.
And strangely enough, his hair was growing longer down his back.
Majin Buu was watching this with fascinated eyes.
Around some places, the city had electrical errors and windows shattering.
The waves in the seas were going crazy and crazy winds from Goku's power.
(Some random Wasteland)
Tien and Chiaotzu were sensing everything.
"It feels like the whole world is shaking apart, what is Goku doing, if he doesn't stop this everything is going to be destroy!" Tien said feeling the world shaking under him.
(Sky)
Goku screams an image in his eye appeared.
A great shrinking down to a baby Goku.
Goku screamed one final shout before engulfing in a blinding light.
Buu yelled from the light blowing up.
In a moment, the light died down making Buu see what Goku had become.
Goku had a stronger aura, more electricity around his form but now his hair was much longer going down his back and his eyebrows were gone.
Goku had ascended past Super Saiyan 2.
Everyone on the Lookout who could sense this was shocked and amazed and Trunks did as well.
"I'm sorry that took so much longer than the others but I haven't had much occasion to practice this one, this is what I call a Super Saiyan 3." Goku said with a deeper voice and a smirk.
Buu didn't look upset by this at all, if anything he looked happy.
Buu pointed to Goku.
"Buu not scare, big hair make you big funny." Buu said not really feeling scare of Goku's big transformation.
"I'm ready show me what you got." Goku said as Buu started flopping his arms.
"Pow pow pow." Buu said raring up.
"Trunks, you'd better move it fast." Goku thought hoping Trunks makes it to Capsule Corps fast.
He would do his best to stall until then.
Hey guys, DragonForceAsh aka zenotai123 here with another update for ya.
Well failed to stop the first wish but managed to stop the second.
Once that was done, Goku teleported everyone to the Lookout to hide out from Majin Buu's rampage.
But once they were, Goku finally had to drop the beans about Gohan and Vegeta.
Goten and Trunks were hit hard but pulled through with this and went on to learn the Fusion technique along with Ash and Paul.
Goten and Trunks had to match levels but Goten proved to be the weaker of the two.
Though Ash and Paul proved to be equals again in Super Saiyan 2 and would make a perfect Fusion.
But now they had a big problem and it was that Buu was heading for West City and that meant the destruction of the Dragon Radar and that meant no finding the Dragon Balls.
To prevent this, Goku goes to still Buu while Trunks goes for the radar.
To hold back Buu, Goku shows off his new transformation.
Super Saiyan 3!
But will it be enough to stall Buu long enough for Trunks to get the Radar?
Or will it fail and the whole world falls in on itself?

P.S. if you didn't see the disclaimer above, I will be adding logic from fan-manga's in this story, if you've seen the fan manga Dragon Ball VE where they revived King Vegeta and Bardock, then you'll understand what truly having a tail means for a Saiyan's Potential in this story, in the Dragon Ball Super Manga, Goku and Vegeta most likely cannot exploit Zenkai's anymore but as long as Ash and Paul have their Tails, they can continue to exploit them as mang times as they want, think about this and watch that Fan-Manga if you want to see what I'm talking about.
