Goku has a ton of power in his new Super Saiyan 3 form but Buu was tanking everything Goku threw at him so far just to buy time for Trunks.
This is proven when Goku fired a blast.
"Kamehameha!" Goku called out firing the attack towards Buu and the attack ripping right through Buu's stomach.
Buu looked at the hole for a moment before it regenerated.
Then Buu surprised Goku by firing kamehameha back at Goku.
Goku managed to dodge the attack making it landed in the water.
Goku stood ready to attack again but suddenly felt Trunks on the move again, this time heading in the direction of the Lookout.
"There he is, good he's on his way back to the Lookout, he must've finally found the Dragon Radar, I guess it's time to wrap up my business here so I can head back too." Goku thought as he reverted back to his base form.
Buu looked surprised that Goku turned back.
"Hey why you go back to normal, you and me not fight no more, Buu had fun." Buu said as he actually really enjoyed the fight given to him.
"Well, I had a lot of fun too but unfortunately I have someplace to be and time won't allow me to play with you all day Majin Buu, it's time for me to say goodbye." Goku said as he needed to go now.
"Oh, I don't want strong man to leave." Buu said wanting the fight to go on.
"Hey don't worry Buu, I can assure you that there are others who you can fight to your hearts content, trust me, their names are Ash, Paul, Goten and Trunks, you can fight them if you want, all you have to do is wait for them to be ready, give 2 days and they'll be ready to fight." Goku said as Buu tilted his head.
Buu listened to this.
"There's no need to destroy any more cities or kill anyone else, they want to fight you, I'm asking, have some patience, they'll come to you." Goku said trying to get Buu to listen to his request.
"Are they really strong?" Buu asked wondering if they were as strong as Goku was in his long haired form.
"Unbelievably." Goku said knowing that the boys are strong in their own right.
"Okay, Buu will wait to fight strong ones." Buu said as Goku smiled.
"Thank you Buu, see ya." Goku said placing two fingers to his forehead and disappearing via Instant Transmission.
Buu looked around to see that Goku had really disappeared out of sight.
"Okay, Buu go find fun while he wait." Buu said as he flew off.
(The Lookout)
Goku reappeared on the Lookout with everyone seeing him.
"Daddy/Dad!" Goten and Ash said as they ran towards him.
"Goku." Piccolo said seeing the man return.
"Your back, your great Dad." Goten said as he hugged his dad.
"What was that power we felt from you dad, it was so strong?" Ash asked wondering what he felt from Goku earlier.
"Oh, you know, just Super Saiyan 3." Goku said as Ash, Paul and Goten's eyes widened from hearing this.
"Super Saiyan 3!" The boys said knowing that there was now another level of Super Saiyan revealed.
How are you feeling Goku?" Piccolo asked to the older Saiyan.
"Fine." Goku responded.
"Trunks found the Dragon Radar and is on his way back, so we've avoided one catastrophe I guess." Bulma told as now they just needed Trunks to come back.
"Yes, I know, now even if Majin Buu does destroy West City we'll be able to undo all of his damage and not only that we'll be able to wish back all of the innocent people Buu killed today, every single one of them." Goku told as now that the Dragon Radar was safe, they could restore any damage done during this time.
Goku walked to the edge of the Lookout to continue keeping track of Trunks's energy signature.
But he now suddenly sense's Buu causing destruction in another city.
And once again, another city of innocent lives is gone.
"That whole city, this is bad" Krillin said seeing the lives of that place was gone.
"He's just gonna keep going." Piccolo said knowing that nothing is going to stop Buu right now.
"I guess it's just in his nature to cause destruction, it's probably the only thing he's ever known how to do." Goku said thinking that Buu was only taught how to do bad.
"No, don't go making excuses for him, there's no reason to demolish planets regardless of personality defects." Piccolo said knowing this couldn't go on.
"Don't worry, I'm fairly certain we can keep him from wiping out the entire planet, Buu seems very eager when I told him stronger fighters then me would be facing off against him in two days so that buys us some time but I can't help feeling bad for all the innocent people down there who stand in his way." Goku said knowing while they wait, Buu will continue to start trouble for the world below.
"But we can bring everything back to normal with the Dragon Balls right." Krillin said thinking theirs's still a good side to this.
"Perhaps Krillin but that doesn't do us any good if the boys aren't prepared to Fuse and defeat Majin Buu in these next two days, that should be our priority." Piccolo said knowing the boys have to be ready or else the Dragon Balls won't matter.
"You and the boys are going to have to learn fast Piccolo, my time here on earth is running out, I have less than an hour." Goku said knowing what caused his time to shorten.
"An hour!" Krillin said shocked.
"No, you must have more than that, it hasn't been a full day yet!" Piccolo said knowing that Goku had to have more time than that.
"Why do you have to leave so soon dad, please don't, I like you." Goten said as Ash nodded.
"Yeah, it would better if you stayed." Ash said not wanting his father to leave so soon.
"I like you too Goten and Ash I would love to stay, but it seems Super Saiyan 3 is a level that can only be handled in Other World. the living world has more rules than Other World and transforming takes too much energy, so I've got very, very tired." Goku said knowing that the transformation took too much out of him.
"Oh no, so that's why you seem so exhausted huh?" Krillin asked seeing Goku looking more tired than before.
"A little fatigue and energy loss is nothing Dende can't take care of!" Piccolo said thinking Dende could fix that.
"No, I can, for this I have to return to the Other World." Goku said as Goten looked quiet and Ash looked down.
"Tick tock, greetings Goku at the tone, your time remaining on Earth will be 30 minutes." Baba said showing up and telling Goku how much time he has left.
"Baba what are you...30 minutes ugh, is that all the time I've got!?" Goku questioned.
"At the tone Goku beep!" Baba said.
"Trunks had better hurry up, there's no time!" Goku said as the boys needed to learn the Fusion before he ran out of time, there was no more time to waste.
Moments later, Goten and Krillin were sparring with each other as Ash stood next to Goku and Piccolo while Paul just stood laying down on the Lookout waiting for Trunks.
"Goku, I've been meaning to ask you a question." Piccolo said getting his attention.
"Go ahead." Goku said.
"When you were in Super Saiyan 3, would it had been possible, could you have actually defeated Majin Buu once and for all, if you really tried?" Piccolo asked wanting the answer.
"Well, I don't know, well you have to admit Majin Buu is no ordinary opponent, it might have been impossible for me to win." Goku said.
"Might, why didn't you at least tried to give him everything you had, were you afraid of what would happen if your body was destroyed on Earth?" Piccolo asked to Saiyan as Ash listened in.
"No, by all accounts I shouldn't even be here in this world, it's not my place to do that, this is their world Piccolo, even if I did somehow defeat Majin Buu, he wouldn't be the last villain to terrorize the earth, then who would be prepared to save it, call me crazy but after watching Ash and Paul's fight at the Junior's division, I decided to take a chance." Goku said placing a hand on Ash's head.
"So, you're going to wager the world's future on the shoulders of little children?" Piccolo asked looking down at Ash.
"I think it's a little safe bet, don't you, I mean you did train Ash here right while I was gone, so you should have more faith in this then me." Goku said making Piccolo smirk.
"You've always been a hopeless dreamer Goku and your right." Piccolo said with a smirk.
"Dad, you really believe we can save the world?" Ash asked to his father.
"Yes, I do, I'm sure of it, you and Paul, and Trunks and Goten has high potential, I'm sure you can do it." Goku said as Ash looked down for a moment.
"Okay we'll do it but I want something from you from if we defeat Buu, like a prize for defeating the strongest guy around right now." Ash said making Goku and Piccolo surprised.
"Okay I guess I do that, so what do you want if you win?" Goku asked.
"Well, you said from what I remember Gohan telling me about you staying dead, it was because you thought that all the threats coming were because of you right?" Ash asked.
"Well yeah, I thought I attracted a lot of problems to the earth and thought they would stay away if I stayed dead." Goku told knowing that was the reason he decided not to return.
"Well, Buu didn't show up because you right, he was coming anyway so that point has been proven wrong right." Ash said making Piccolo smirk.
"He's got a point Goku." Piccolo said having a feeling of what Ash wants now hearing all of this.
"I guess so, Majin Buu seemed to be coming after I was gone so I guess not all threats happen because of me." Goku said thinking about it.
"Well for that, my prize is clear, if we defeat Majin Buu, you have to return to life with the Dragon Balls." Ash requested as Goku blinked.
He didn't expect that.
"Yeah, think about it Dad, Mom misses you, Gohan missed you, me and Goten just met you and think your great, when you go back to Other World, we'll miss you, please promise you'll come back to life if we win this!" Ash pleaded as Goku looked into his son's eyes.
He really wanted Goku to stay.
Goku honestly did miss his family a lot, he knew he probably hurt his family when he decided to stay dead but now knowing that not every threat is because of him and thinking he could help the new generation now that he's seen what they can do, he's made his decision.
"Alright, if you managed to defeat Majin Buu, I promise to use the Dargon Balls to be revived." Goku said as Ash smiled brightly.
"Yes, now we can truly be a family when the time comes." Ash said excited as Ash ran over to Paul who was laying down.
"Goku I'm sorry, well give him my regards when you see him in the Other World." Piccolo said and Goku knew exactly who Piccolo was referring to.
"I'm sure Gohan misses you very much too, he was always fond of you and I'm sure Ash is now too, you were like family to him Piccolo." Goku said as Piccolo looked to the sky.
At that moment, Trunks returned with the Dragon Radar in his hand.
"Hey heads up guys, Trunks flew in!" Krillin called out as they ran for the boy.
Paul got up.
"It's about time." Paul said knowing he hates waiting.
"It's good to see my little Trunks, you must be tired." Bulma said happy to see her little boy safe and sound.
"I'm fine." Trunks said.
"Of course, you are dear, you're so grown up." Bulma said as Trunks held up the Radar.
"Here it is sir, confirm, is this your Dragon Radar?" Trunks spoke like a soldier.
"Confirmed, good job soldier, mission accomplished." Goku said handing the radar to Bulma.
"Yes sir." Trunks thanked.
"Great, now thanks to Trunks we can track down the Dragon Balls and wish for everything to be brought back to normal." Bulma said holding the radar.
"When do we get to train for the Fusion, you guys didn't start without me did you?" Trunks asked hoping they didn't start without him.
"Of course, we didn't, it takes two to Fuse." Goku said knowing Fusion needed two to do so.
"Oh, oh oh, wouldn't it be cool if I could do Fusion with myself and become 2 of me huh dad." Goten said feeling the same excitement as Trunks.
They laughed hearing this.
Soon afterwards, they made it at the top of the palace where it was open with everyone else with them.
"Goten, Trunks, Ash and Paul, we have to begin our training right away." Goku said knowing they were wasting time now.
"Yes sir." Goten and Trunks said as Ash and Paul nodded.
"Now I don't have much left, so we're going to need to work hard and fast, the fate of the world depends on your cooperation, got it." Goku said knowing they needed to get serious since they had no more time to lose.
"Sir yes sir." Goten and Trunks said again as Ash and Paul nodded again, having no need for words.
"Wow, what do you think got into them?" Goku asked wondering what's got the boys so fired up now.
"Well maybe you can teach these kids some new tricks after all Goku." Piccolo said glad the boys were taking things seriously.
"Let's begin, first you 4 have to re-aline your energies with one another." Goku said as the boys nodded.
"Yes sir!" The boys called out as they all started powering up sending winds and sparks flying.
Goten and Trunks turning Super Saiyan and Ash and Paul going Super Saiyan 2.
"It's amazing how great their powers are, especially at such a young age, wow!" Roshi said feeling how strong the boys are, mostly Ash and Paul.
"Trunks, Paul mommy's proud of you!" Bulma called out to her sons.
The boys finally stopped powering up.
"Great your energies have perfectly matched, just keep practicing otherwise you'll slip out of sync with each other." Goku said knowing the more they do this, the easier it'd become.
"Hey you don't look so good Goku, even for you." Piccolo said noticing that Goku was looking worse.
"Thanks, but I'll be alright, just a little tired, yeah it's nothing really." Goku said trying to wave them off.
"I've never seen Goku so weak before, that Super Saiyan 3 transformation must've really taken its toll." Piccolo thought knowing that Goku was really tried looking.
"Now are you ready to attempt the most difficult part of Fusion, it'd require a lot patience and some real discipline." Goku said knowing the hard part of the Fusion was coming.
"Well yeah/yes!" Trunks and Goten said at the same time.
"Bring it on!" Ash and Paul said together.
"Once you've matched your energies precisely, you must strike a delicate series of poses together, if even one of you is even the slightest bit off, the Fusion will fail, now I'm about to teach you the exact moves, so pay close attention, Kay." Goku said trying to get his point across.
"Yes." Goten and Trunks said as Ash and Paul paid close attention.
"To get it started, the 2 of you each will stand next to each other and go like this, and make sure your arms are straight and then you say 'FU' you'll approach each other with stretched arms, moving exactly three steps over and once you've got that you say 'SION' quarter turn and watch the angle of your knee, 'HA', now watch, point your fingers parallel and don't forget the angle of your legs, it's very important." Goku explained showing the moves at the parts of 'Fu', 'SI' and 'Ha'.
Piccolo looked dumbfounded when he saw the poses needed and they have sweatdropped seeing them.
"This might be a bit tough." Trunks said nervously.
"Uh-huh." Goten agreed.
"Wow, just wow." Ash couldn't believe it either.
"You have got to be kidding me." Paul said as he saw the poses.
He was doing something very humiliating to avenge his father and he hated it.
He just prays to every god out there that his father doesn't laugh at him for learning something so ridiculous in the time he would be gone.
"Now it's your turn to try boys." Goku said wanting the boys to take a try at it now.
"Yes." Goten and Trunks with Ash nodding and Pau as well but he was now embarrassed to do the dance.
"But before you do I wanna make this clear again, you 4 are gonna have to face off against Majin Buu in just 2 days, now that's pretty soon, so it's crucial you know how to Fuse before then, do you understand?" Goku asked to the boys again.
"Yes!" Goten and Trunks replied again.
Ash and Paul nodded again.
Goku panted when he talked and Piccolo noticed all this.
"Listen to that, he sounds pathetic, I still can't believe how much energy Goku lost becoming a Super Saiyan 3." Piccolo thought as he looked at the out of breath Goku.
"Okay guys, I hope you were paying close attention, you're gonna have to do the same exact moves in perfect symmetry, alright, let's give it a try." Goku said expecting them to do it.
Trunks and Goten stood confused.
"Huh, what's wrong?" Goku asked.
"I don't think Goten knows what symmetry is sir." Trunks said making that clear to Goku.
"Huh, oh right, well it's..how should I put it, it's like mirrors and hmm...oh I've got it Piccolo and I can show you how it's done." Goku said making the Namekian snap his heads towards Goku.
"Huh!" Piccolo looked dumbfounded.
The boys looked towards Piccolo as well.
"Are you sure?" Piccolo said looking like he didn't want to do it.
"This should be good." Trunks thought.
Piccolo got into the position Goku had shown off before.
"Now watch us very carefully, we only have time to demonstrate this once, just follow me Piccolo and do what I do, but in reverse like a mirror opposite FU." Goku said doing the dance.
Piccolo following him in doing so.
"SI HA!" Goku said doing the poses with Piccolo to the end.
Piccolo had a small blush doing something so embarrassing.
"That is symmetry." Goku said.
"What the heck was that, is this Fusion or a junior high prom?" Krillin said thinking this was a little bit ridiculous.
"I don't know how I feel about that being our last hope to save the world." Bulma said thinking the same as Krillin.
"Now are you 4 ready to give it a try?" Goku asked to the boys.
"Yes." Goten and Trunks said running up as Ash and Paul walked up.
"Goku would you have really asked Vegeta to do this Fusion move with you if he were still alive, it's just that...well I can't imagine Vegeta subjecting himself to something like this." Piccolo said knowing Vegeta's pride wouldn't allow him to do something like this.
"Huh, why not, what's wrong?" Goku said not getting why Vegeta wouldn't do it.
"It's sorta..." Piccolo didn't know how to word this right.
"Hey Dad look at this." Goten said getting Goku's attention.
"Right." Trunks said as they were in the beginning poses.
"That's it, oh but Goten your left arm is a little bit low, it should be even with Trunks's, good now take three steps 'FU' 'SION'..." Goku stopped when Goten had to put his leg back in the right position.
Goten and Trunks got the end pose wrong.
"Oh brother, Ash, Paul, how about you two give a try." Goku said seeing the boys in position.
"Okay." Ash said as he held his arms out.
Paul doing the same.
"Okay good, now take three steps, 'Fu', 'SION' 'Ha!" Goku said the words as Ash and Paul performed the poses.
They looked like performed it right.
"Hey that was really good you two, oh but Ash, your leg in a small bit out of place, and your right arm is bit too high Paul." Goku said correcting the boys, they may have done better than Goten and Trunks but it wasn't perfect.
"Ugh!" Ash and Paul groaned.
Mostly Paul, he didn't want to do this dumb dance.
"Okay, let's take it again from the top, remember symmetry." Goku said trying to get the boys, mostly Goten and Trunks, to do the dance perfectly.
Baba came around again to the Ox-king and told him that Goku has around 15 minutes before he has to go.
While she did that.
"FU' 'SION' HA!" Goten and Trunks called out together doing the poses.
"Now that was must better than before, just keep doing it like that." Goku said seeing that Goten and Trunks did must better at steps now.
"FU' "SION' HA!" Ash and Paul said doing the dance perfectly this time.
"Nice job you two, that's the third time you managed to do the dance perfectly now." Goku said knowing that Ash and Paul were amazing at the poses so quick now.
"I'd wish they hurry, if Goten weren't holding my Trunks back they'd be ready to fight Majin Buu right now and could all those people from getting killed." Bulma said thinking this wasn't going fast enough.
"Ugh, somebody's gonna have to hold me back if she keeps talking like that." Krillin said getting tired of Bulma's talking.
"Fusion HA!" Goten and Trunks said doing the dance again.
"No no, that's not it try it again." Goku said.
"Fusion Ha!" Goten and Trunks did it again.
"That's still not right, your breathing has to be absolutely in sync." Goku said as he watched Ash and Paul do the dance again.
"Fusion Ha!" Ash and Paul said together doing the dance perfectly again.
"See, like they did it you two, Ash and Paul are doing the right way." Goku said knowing the boys should copy their younger brothers.
"Goten, ask your dad if we can take a break." Trunks said feeling tired of doing the dance.
"Hm-hmm, you ask." Goten said.
"Hey attention!" Goku yelled getting them to flinch.
"Sir yes sir!" The two said.
"Start over again from the top guys and remember this time to stay in time with the rhythm." Goku said saying one two.
Goten and Trunks moved as he said this.
Suddenly Trunks stopped and looked at Goku.
"Huh, what's the matter Trunks?" Goku said thinking something was wrong.
"I'm sorry but this Fusion techniques lame." Trunks said thinking this technique wasn't all it was cracked up to be.
"What, you think it's lame, kids today, Fusion is anything but lame, the metamorans people who taught this to me some of the strongest warriors in the universe thanks to Fusion." Goku said thinking he got his point across.
"Okay but first can you show me how you change into Super Saiyan 3, those people maybe powerful they're no Super Saiyan 3!" Trunks said wanting to see the transformation.
"Hey can you shoe me how to do it too dad?" Goten said wanting to see what it looks like too.
Ash and Paul didn't say anything but they were interested in the new transformation as well.
"Instead of wasting our time with this boring old Fusion thing, wouldn't me and Goten be a lot better off if we became Super Saiyan 3." Trunks said thinking Fusion wouldn't be needed if they used a new transformation instead.
"Yeah, I'm sure we could beat Majin Buu then." Goten said thinking the same as Trunks.
"You can't, the only way to you boys can beat Majin Buu is by Fusing together, just trust me on this one." Goku said sternly.
The boys looked at each other.
"Maybe your dad is right." Trunks said.
"Great take it from the top, oh they look so sad, fine I'll show you the Super Saiyan 3 just one time." Goku said as he could do that.
"Wow!" Trunks said happy.
"Go dad!" Goten said just as happy.
"So your gonna show us what it looks like?" Ash asked walking over.
"Well I guess we're be able to see what this looks like up close. (A/N: Remember, Babidi is dead, no Babidi means nobody could see Goku and Buu fight)
"Not so fast, you have to promise me that you'll really learn to Fuse afterwards." Goku said making the boys nod.
"We promise." Goten and Trunks said.
"Be smart Goku, you'll lose what little time you have left on Earth." Piccolo said trying to change Goku's mind.
"I'm already out of time Piccolo, Trunks, Goten, Ash, Paul, watch closely!" Goku said as the boys nodded.
Goku got into a ready stance as Piccolo backed up.
Goku transformed into a Super Saiyan first.
"First turn Super Saiyan." Goku said making the boys nod.
Then Goku turned Super Saiyan 2 gaining electricity around him.
"Then you go one step beyond that to a Super Saiyan 2, an ascended Saiyan." Goku said with a smirk.
They looked amazed and nodded.
"Then AHHHHHH!" Goku screamed powering up, making a fierce wind blow out.
Goten and Trunks got blow to edge and had to hang on while Ash and Paul stood their ground though with a lot of effort.
"This next energy has to come from deep inside, push hard to find it, AHHHH!" Goku stated as his hair started to grow out.
A bright light appeared in the palace.
Piccolo, Ash and Paul looked at Goku as Goten and Trunks brought themselves back into the room.
They all saw Goku in all his Super Saiyan 3 glory with his long hair and no eyebrows.
"Tap into that and you become a Super Saiyan 3." Goku said in Super Saiyan 3 form.
"That's cool." Trunks said.
"Awesome dad." Goten said.
Ash and Paul stood quietly in shock.
This was something they could get in their path to power, at least they had a new goal to go for.
Piccolo stood shocked as well.
Suddenly Goku fell to a knee and reverted back to base form.
"Huh, what's wrong!" Trunks said.
"Dad!" Goten and Ash said worried.
"Goku!" Piccolo said but was stopped by Goku putting up a hand.
"Don't worry about me, I'm alright, let's get back to work, you two promised me remember?" Goku asked.
"Hmm." Goten and Trunks nodded.
"Goku your time's up." Baba said getting their attention.
"Now?" Goku asked.
"That little stunt you just pulled drained the last grains of sand through your hour glass." Baba told knowing Goku took away what little time he had left.
"Alright, Piccolo, just pick up where I left off okay, I know these boys aren't too graceful but they learn fast and I believe in them." Goku said turning the teaching to Piccolo.
"But Goku." Piccolo said.
"I'm putting all of my trust in you with this one Piccolo, you've earned it." Goku said as Piccolo nodded.
"Thank you." Piccolo said as they turned to the boys.
"Trunks and Goten, I know you'll show Piccolo the same respect and dedication you've shown me, he's the one in charge now." Goku said to the boys.
"Yes sir!" Goten and Trunks said.
"Ash, you've been training from the beginning so I don't have to tell you anything, Paul I'm sure you can learn a lot from Piccolo as well." Goku said knowing these boys were find so far.
"Right." Paul said having no problems and he wants to keep it that way.
Goku and the others have walked outside the palace to tell everyone that his time was up.
"Things aren't the same around here without you Goku, these guys won't let me have any fun." Roshi said as he knew it was time for his student to leave them again.
"We'll miss you." Bulma said to her lifelong friend.
"Goku, you still think about us when your in Other World don't you buddy?" Krillin asked wondering if his best friend still thought about them despite not being with them anymore.
"Yeah." Goku responded.
"Goku no!" ChiChi called out running out of the palace.
ChiChi run into his arms and cried.
"But Goku, Goku how can you say goodbye now that Gohan has left me too?" ChiChi asked with tears in her eyes.
"ChiChi, you'll be alright, you still have Goten and Ash to look after." Goku said knowing ChiChi still had two of her sons left.
"And what if Majin Buu takes them away from me like Gohan?" ChiChi asked as she didn't want to lose her only sons now.
"That won't happen, once they master Fusion, Goten and Ash can't possibly lose the fight, I'll tell Gohan how much you really miss when I see him there." Goku said as ChiChi nodded.
"You won't, I know Gohan is still alive I'm sure of it." Videl said still knowing in her heart that Gohan was still alive.
"Huh, but how?" Goku asked wondering how Videl would know.
"I don't know, I just feel him beating in my heart." Videl said.
"To be young and in love, to be completely irrational, boy I miss those days, lots." Krillin said missing when the old days were simple.
"Your devotion to him is really great." Goku said knowing Gohan had a tight relationship with Videl.
"Thank you sir." Videl blushed.
"Hey no more goodbyes, your time's up." Baba said knowing they had to get going.
"But.."Goten said but stopped.
"Uh, what is it Goten, Ash you look like you want to say something too." Goku said as Goten and Ash looked down.
"Oh I know, you want one last hug from your father don't you boys." ChiChi said knowing the boys.
"Oh of course hey theirs's nothing to be ashamed of son, it's okay." Goku said picking the boys up and bringing them into a hug.
"Goten, Ash your both gonna take care of mom for me?" Goku asked to the boys.
"Uh-huh." Goten nodded.
"Goku you can't put it off any longer." Baba said knowing Goku can't overstay his time.
"Gotcha, I'm proud of you boys." Goku said.
"Remember your promise dad, when this fight is over with when we win." Ash said reminding Goku of what their promise was.
"Of course, so long everybody!" Goku said floating into the sky with Baba.
Everyone started waving Goodbye to Goku.
"Good luck fighting Majin Buu, I'll see you guys sooner or later!" Goku called as he vanished from this realm with Baba.
"Ha, where your going, I hope it's a bit later than sooner." Krillin said.
(A while Later)
Ash was mediating and Paul was leaning against the wall as Piccolo scolded Goten and Trunks for not waking up.
"Now, let's get started shall we." Piccolo said as Ash stopped meditating and Paul got to a good spot knowing training was going to continue.
"Um Piccolo?" Trunks questioned.
"What?" Piccolo said.
"Um before we begin, would you mind demonstrating the proper way to do the Fusion technique, if this is your training camp, you need to teach us, we've only seen the technique done right once?" Trunks asked making Piccolo look nervous which Ash noticed.
"Yeah Trunks is right, how are we suppose to technique if we've only seen it done one time." Goten said agreeing with Trunks.
Ash whispered something to Paul who looked surprised at this before Ash explained a little more which got Paul to groan.
"Please!" Goten and Trunks begged.
Piccolo looked nervous but luckily his trusty student was on the way to help.
"Don't worry Piccolo we got this." Ash said getting all their attentions.
"It's the same technique no matter who's teaching it Trunks, so watch carefully." Paul said as he and Ash got into the positions.
"Fusion-Ha!" Ash and Paul said together doing the poses exactly like they did before.
"See it's that simple." Ash said giving a glance to Piccolo who saw what the look meant.
I saw you looking nervous so I came to help.
Piccolo couldn't be more grateful to have a student like Ash.
"Good, thank you Ash, and you too Paul, alright, you've had your example, now get busy!" Piccolo demanded as Goten and Trunks got up to practice the technique.
Ash and Paul walked up to Piccolo.
"Thanks for doing that Ash." Piccolo said as Ash nodded and prepared to continue their own Fusion training.
"Fusion-Ha!" Goten and Trunks said doing the dance again.
"Again." Piccolo said wanting them to do it again.
"Fusion-Ha!" Goten and Trunks did it again.
"Your not synchronized, you've got stay focused, alright take a breather, listen it's just not body movements, before you become someone you have to be one, you've got to think the same thoughts, breath in the same rhythm." Piccolo stated to the boys.
"How can I breath when he's gotten silent once!" Trunks said annoyed.
"Look who's talking, your breath smells like dead!" Goten stated.
"It does not!"
"Does too!"
Goten and Trunks started rolling around in an argument.
"Enough, what do you think your doing, get a hold of yourselves, can't you two sense what's going on below up right now, innocent people are being killed and your acting like this." Piccolo stated to the two as they started fighting.
Ash and Paul were still doing their training.
"Fusion-Ha!" Ash and Paul said as they did the dance again.
Once they did, they stopped and took a breather.
Piccolo breathed a sigh as he looked at Goten and Trunks.
"Alright, are we ready?" Piccolo asked as the boys answered.
"Yes," The boys said.
"Then let's see it then!" Piccolo said as the boys kept doing the dance.
A while later after doing the dance a few more times.
Goten, Trunks, Ash and Paul did the Fusion dance three more times.
"Good, you've got it, your form is nearly perfect." Piccolo said as the boys took a breather.
Piccolo decided it was time to put the dance to the test.
"Alright, now it's time to see if you 4 can actually do it, boys, align your energy, this is it!" Piccolo said to the boys.
"Right!" Goten and Trunks said.
"So it's finally time." Paul said finally tired of waiting.
It was about time.
"It's time to see what this technique can do for real." Ash said knowing they can finally try out the technique.
"Remember, breath in the same rhythm and when you see each other don't think of yourselves as separate or different, your just seeing another part of yourself, okay ready!" Piccolo stated.
"Yes!" Goten and Trunks stated.
"Let's do it!" Ash and Paul stated at the same time.
The time had come to finally put this Fusion technique to the test.
Hey guys, DragonForceAsh aka zenotai123 here with another update for ya.
Well Goku held off Buu long enough for Trunks to find the Dragon Radar.
He did but because of that, his time on Earth was cut shorter than he expected.
Having no more time to waste, Goku started teaching the boys the Fusion Technique.
Though, they were a little cut off guard of how it was performed.
Goten and Trunks had somewhat of a hard time doing it right but Ash and Paul nearly got it perfect.
A few more times done and they were getting better.
But Trunks wanting to see Super Saiyan 3 from Goku made Goku show off the form.
Which costed him the last of his time.
Goku went off back to the afterlife where Piccolo took the handle to teach the boys.
Now with his teaching, the boys have gotten better and the time has come to test it.
But will it work?
And if it does, will it be enough to finally take down the monster known as Majin Buu?

P.S, to ElPokemultive26, the person who wrote having to moved the fight between the fusion of Ash and Paul Vs Buu to the kai world, remember, Vegito was strong in his own right since the Potara fusion gave him a rival boost, making him stronger, so since the earth didn't explode from their powers, so their won't be any need to do that.
