Chapter 17 – Into the Time Chamber (Part 7)

[The Chamber – Day 22]

"Momes, your handling of your quirk has improved. I figured being a reality warper would make it easier." Drake said sparring out at the void of the chamber with her.

It was into the 'night' as most of others were asleep.

"It helps, but I still have to put in the effort. I did at become adequate in the Mizu Shuriken and Ganseki Shuriken. Ki really made it easy for me to get a solid grip on the techniques." Momo said blocking his next punch with a kick. "And Momes? Really?"

"It's cute." Drake defended backflipping away.

"What happened to the professionalism? It was endearing." Momo teased. "And cute."

"Yeah, yeah. By the way, there's a technique I got for you." Drake said going over to his bag. "I wrote it out in a scroll."

He tossed it to her as she opened.

"Doton: Domu? This sounds like Kirishima's quirk…he'll be mighty sore if he finds out." Momo said.

"Then don't let him or Bakugo find out I 'spoiled' you." Drake said before turning serious. "I do want to commend your progress. I think your quirk will allow you to achieve better control of your ki through alteration-type ki manipulation technique. What those are similar to the Rock Staff jutsu, but a bit more generalized. You remember my energy blade technique?"

Momo nodded.

"Focus on the shape of the blade and mold your ki, let's see if you mold a sword. Don't exactly copy mine, try to form your own." Drake said as Momo readied herself.

Focusing on the shape was a bit odd for her, but she put it focus as her left hand sparked with red ki before out from her hand materialized a fencing saber made of pure red ki which she gripped tightly. Drake let loose a chuckle over the choice getting Momo to blush.

"Not bad for a first go. Though I hope that won't be your weapon of choice, Momes." Drake said. "Your ki is an extension of yourself. Remember that. Though you can also use this to enhance any weapon you have."

Momo dissapited the saber.

"Let's pack it in." Drake said with a sigh. "We got another day ahead."

The two walked back together.

[The Chamber – Day 23]

Another lecture of warper customs and culture.

"And we have spaceports, basically the rest-stops of the multiverse. Usually the place to fuel up, rest up, and peruse the markets. There's actually a few in this cluster of universes…the closest one with the Vigilant Vex-2 spaceport. I haven't visited myself, but if you can get a ship…I'll authorize for you to pay it a visit yourself." Jericho remarked.

"Note to self, visit Kyu." Ochako/Mina/Izuku thought.

"Now, any questions on a burning topic you have?" Jericho mused.

"Laws on relationships…harems and poly stuff allowed?" Nemuri asked.

"Yeah, they're legal if it's all consensual." Jericho mused as Nemuri grinned. "We go by Pokémon Universe standards on consent laws."

Mineta considered a harem…for a second but he rather not bring what he had going on to ruin.

"Anything else?" Jericho asked only for to check the chamber time. "We're done with lecturing. With progress being so good, we've decided on leaving the chamber early." Jericho said.

"Two days from now. So, we'll be teaching you the coolest way to get around when you're not driving, you're learning to fly." Drake said humbly. "While not our last lesson, it will be for our time in the chamber."

"For those who have Wind affinity, got Sky Walk down, and/or quirks in this department, this is going to be a rather easy lesson. The Air Dance technique is a matter of simply focusing ki under you as your engine." Drake said demonstrating. "You can power up with your battle aura to go faster and even leave a light trial…be warned that you'll be sensed if you do this."

Aizawa was the first to get it down and he could not help but have a wide grin zipping around in the air. The best part was…this was not a quirk, he technically could just fly to work and the law could not tell him no!

"No more traffic!" Aizawa thought excitedly.

Rumi was thinking the same thing among other things…like getting the drop on some poor bastard.

"Don't push yourselves too hard, you got time to practice. We'll leave you to it." Drake said as he landed on the ground. "I need to start packing it up. And Ochako, try to master this…it'll probably shoot that nausea problem down."

The three left them to figure it out.

[The Chamber – Day 25]

The day finally come, a bit early. But everyone had their bags packed and ready to go.

"Before we go through, I have a bit of a present for you." Drake said as his body glowed before saying in a near whisper. "Warper Art: Kekkai."

A light consumed the students before it faded to reveal Drake revamped their gi. The base color was a light shade of black but the inner shirt, obi, arm bands, boot lining, and laces were each student's associated color. The guys' gi was stylized with mesh arm sleeves that showed as fishnet connected to fingerless gloves giving the gi a ninja-esque vibe. The girls' gi were cut at the midriff with it covered with mesh fishnet with it also on the arms connecting to fingerless gloves.

"The emblem on the front was of UA's symbol, but the one on the back shows you are all from our camp." Drake said as a few turned to look at it.

In a white circle outlined by a darker shade of black was kanji ( 新竜)for 'New Dragon' with a shiny Rayquaza coiled. Drake took a breath before using the Warper Art again on himself shining bright before the light dispelled his. His gi was similar but the symbol on the back was Gekkokage's flag in the circle, the symbol in front was a white skull with blue irisless eyes. In addition, he wore a white Namekian-styled cape.

"Really, Drake?" Jericho said. "You always materialize that thing on when you want to show off."

"I feel confident today." Drake affirmed. "And I want to look my best when we roll out."

He walked towards the door, breathed out, and opened it.

(A/N: For those curious, not all the students managed to get flying down. I would say those with Wind affinity would definitely have it down mostly pat. Our next two parter ends Arc 2.)
