Chapter 18 – An Hour and Change (Part 1)

Twenty minutes.

That's how long Mrs. Midoriya sat in the gym alongside a few other parents, namely Bakugo's mother and Asui's mother. They had not been able to contact their kids. So, some had came to which Harley handled them. Endeavor was being impatient.

The door opened as Drake came out with the others. The group looked a bit more hardened by what went on in there leading some to wonder. Some where surprised to see some of kids looked an inch or two taller.

"You're early, boss. Things go well?" Harley asked.

"It did." Drake said calmly handing a small case of capsules. "Take these to unpack and store. Also store the chamber as well for cleaning. Everyone is out."

Harley nodded before opening a panel to reveal a number pad. Keying in a code, she pressed a button capsulizing the gate to the chamber into a carrying case. Harley hauled that out.

[Music Ends]

"I didn't expect a welcoming party." Drake remarked. "Nezu, I did leave a notice on the desk what I was planning."

"You did and went through all the proper channels. Though the added guests are a surprise." Nezu said.

"Well, sparring partners I needed. And the results for the students were a slam dunk. We're out early because of this." Drake said as phones were readjusted to the current time.

"Well, class dismissed." Jericho said before getting some paperwork out of her bag to give Nezu. "Here you go, Mr. Nezu. Reports from all three of us among some other things."

Nezu leafed through some of them finding a note with a request from all three.

"Hm? Aizawa, Kayama, and Yagi? I need to speak to all three of you, right now in my office. Miss Usagiyama, UA thanks you for the assistance." Nezu said Aizawa, Nemuri, and Yagi were quick to leave with the principal.

"Bakugo, mind explain what the heck happened? That clown kook said you were in a chamber of space-time being trained." Mitsuki said.

"And that's exactly what happened, hag." Bakugo said curtly.

"It was pretty intense. Time moved at a slower rate in there…we were done for a little over three weeks. Which is why our phones was not working, we were literally in another plane of reality." Izuku said as Inko and Mitsuki just looked mortified.

"Three weeks?!" Inko said.

"The plan was for two hours out here, a month in there. But they decided to let us out early." Bakugo mused as Ochako and Mina came up.

"Izuku, Ochako's heading over to Kyu's…and we want you to come." Mina said sheepishly.

"Who's Kyu?" Mitsuki said.

"Someone connected to our senseis that does business." Bakugo said cryptically before turning to Ochako. "Crater face, mind I tag along? I'd need to pass over my place first, but…"

"I don't really mind." Ochako mused.

"We should hurry over though." Mina said excitedly. "Man, it's good to be out of the chamber. Being on normal gravity makes me feel light like a feather."

They were all talking as they were leaving campus.

"Mom, I'll see you later. I'll tell you more when I get home." Izuku said.

"Aren't you going to need a ride?" Mitsuki said as Izuku, Bakugo, Ochako, and Mina all laughed. "What?"

"You know, those space bastards taught us one of the coolest martial arts techniques." Bakugo said before taking off to the skies.

The force of so ended up have his mother fall on her behind. Izuku was at least nice enough to help Mitsuki before taking off with Mina and Ochako in tow.

"There's a technique that lets you fly?!" Mitsuki said sputtering.

"Well…I guess that's good. Izuku's more like the heroes in the comics." Inko said beaming.

Coming out of campus as well was Drake, Tsuyu, and her mother.

"To think that a prodigy child came from the stars, you're causing quite the rumble in the news. You got some hesitant, some fans, and some critics. Endeavor's been ragging on you in interviews." Beru said. "But where are my manners. Asui Beru, I'm Tsuyu's mother."

"Arashi Drake." Drake said collected. "It's a pleasure. Your daughter was a joy to teach. Attentive, agile, hard working."

"Drake-kun, stop. Flattery isn't needed." Tsuyu said with a blush.

"Oh ho, so it's Drake-kun now." Beru teased. "He is your sensei, you know."

"Not like he's much older than me." Tsuyu snarked. "Sorry, I didn't call you before I went in."

"It's fine, dear. That clown woman explained everything…though she's a bit weird. Surprised they let her be a school psychologist." Beru mused.

"There's something I need to talk to you about." Tsuyu said. "But I don't see your car."

"Oh, it's in the shop and your father has the other one. I had to get a lift from another parent." Beru said.

"I'll give you a lift, what Tsu was about to tell you pertains to me." Drake said getting his car capsule out.

He clicked it and threw it to let his trusty Fairlady Z out. He opened the door for Tsuyu and her mother to get in before sliding over the hood to get into his seat. Drake started it up as his phone synced in…a text came from Kyoka asking him to pass by her home later today even giving him the address. A call came from Kyu as he was already driving out and he answered.

"Kyu, talk to me." Drake said.

"You're out early. Harley called and those two rangers are on route back to the island. Regardless, I got a bit of good news and bad news." Kyu said.

"The bad news?" Drake asked.

"Cobalt's been shut down…" Kyu said as Tsuyu and him raised an eyebrow.

"And that's bad, why exactly?" Tsuyu asked.

"Tsuyu? Oh Drake, taking an interest, now? Is Jericho in on-"

"Kyu, her mom is in the car with me." Drake said dryly.

"So, oyakodon then?" Kyu said as Drake and Tsuyu blushed.

"Mrs. Asui's married, you idiot." Drake barked. "And I'm not into NTR. I have standards! Now about the news."

"Right right, whatever. Cobalt Ops had a major munity. Turns out that 60 percent of the organization was dirty and there was a bit of major shootout. All I know as the major heads (who seemed to be the only ones clean) managed to escape with 10% of their loyal forces. Cobalt Ops…is no more." Kyu said seriously.

"And how is that bad exactly?" Drake said.

"Because Amanda pulled a middle finger on you and the good of Cobalt." Kyu said as Drake drifted to a stop as his blood ran cold.

"How?" He asked gripping steering wheel.

"Backup body, using her twin sister's. Nikita was seeking the both of you out to giveyou the pleasure of executing Amanda, but…she found out that Amanda's soul left her body the moment it when into the carbonite. She planned this." Kyu said. "I only got the information from two people. Nikita, who I sought out, and another. A warper entered our space while you were gone, I got in contact with her and she was here for the pirates. The information she gave concerning you isn't much better…the assets of Cobalt Ops are being taken by a new group. Rendo Nexus. I don't have much other information, and no….I don't know what happened to Amanda either."

"And the good news?" He asked.

"Well…you and your friends' location are still unknown. I and a few other warpers with influence on the planet have been talking about making this universe, a protected one. At the very least, you've got plenty of people wanting you here and safe." Kyu said perking him up. "We'll do what we can."

"Thanks, Kyu." Drake said as he began driving again.

"One last thing. That warper that came in…she's a counterpart to someone from this universe. I'll just text you who. Bye." Kyu said before hanging up.

"You okay?" Beru asked.

"Yeah, it's fine. Just being reminded of the ghosts of my past aren't dead…even though I wish they were." Drake said. "I could use some directions to your home."

"Oh right…" Tsuyu said.

[Poon de Peen Island]

Kyu tossed her phone aside clearly stressed over this mess. She paced around her living room.

"This is a disaster. For your sake, Himiko, you better be able to help us!" Kyu said pointing at the alternate.

"I can only try. Considering they tapped my lines and most likely any of the Phoenix pirates …" Himiko mused.

"Well, we do not have options. This Rendo Nexus group is something different. I got an affiliate who is selling materials to them and thus gets info. All of it points to the leader being a new yet dangerously competent warper. I have a theory that if Amanda did use a clone lab for her…I don't think the RN would want to recuirt her." Kyu said as her phone buzzed.

She took it up and frowned.

"And that theory might be correct. Amanda's been reported dead…erased. Doesn't say who did, and no one is claiming the reward on the bounty. Most likely, Drake and Jericho are going to find out about this." Kyu said relived.

"Look, I can at the least give you the means to someone who knows a 10th ranked warper personally enough." Himiko said writing down a name and a number. "When you call him, tell him to ensure that no one knows I am here."

"Right…" Kyu said as Himiko took her leave.

She was in her ship and blasting off from the island right at Izuku, Ochako, Mina, and Bakugo arrived on the island.

"Odd, that ki leaving the island feels familiar…" Izuku thought as they came to the door and knocked.

Kyu answered clearly looked stressed out given her hair.

"So, you've finally joined us on the other side. As warpers, this means we can do better business." Kyu said with a wide grin.

"And you can't jisp us. I got stuff to sell." Ochako said getting a small laundry bag out of her duffel. "A week's worth of my used underwear."

"Still can't believe people will pay for that. But…I got some of my mother's to sell." Bakugo said as Kyu beamed.

"Mitsuki's trended. So many angry Izuku stans want her underwear to lord to the Bakugo fans." Kyu said.

"I got some of mine to sell too." Mina said sheepishly.

"Well, I have a few boxers of mine." Izuku said blushing. "Fangirls…would want them."

By the time deals were made, the four made a lot of money.

"Kyu, is it possible you can help with my family's construction business?" Ochako asked.

"That's easy. Get your family business to allow for quirk usage on the job to aid in construction. As you are a warper, all you need to go is call the Order and pay for a permit, the government would have to recognize it…but you would have to be the owner of the company. Your parents would have to answer to you." Kyu said as Ochako looked pensive.

"My parents can still run it, right?" She asked as Kyu nodded. "I'll talk it over, then."

"So, about the stock you can now sell us?" Mina said as Kyu led them to her garage.

"I got power ups, armor, a station for mutations, sex toys, lingerie, and the works." Kyu said as Mina took one a doujin.

"My Harem Academia R?" Mina said before looking inside and blushing.

"Popular series, it's a rewrite of the original. Redoes the story taking out the more taboo version namely with Inko and Mitsuki. Some prefer this straight non-incestual harem version. So far, that Izuku got Ochako, Mina, and Tsuyu. That issue is Volume 1 out of 5." Kyu said with a wry look.

"I'll take all five issues." Mina said shamelessly forking over the money.

"Excellent choice." Kyu said taking it before giving her the goods. "Interested in perusing Deku? What will Ochako think?"

"Well…we're actually debating sharing." Ochako said as Bakugo sputtered. "We ended up asking him out at the same time and…Jericho-sensei suggested it…"

"Ha, well I wish you luck!" Kyu said. "Anything else?"

"We're looking for ships. Spaceships." Bakugo said surprising Kyu.

"Wanting to explore the multiverse, already? The lot of you are 5th rank…and heck Deku, you've made sixth rank quickly, congrats. As for selling you a ship, I can't exactly do that. I only got one spare ship I can sell. You want a ship, you can use the WarpNet to order one." Kyu said using a computer panel to open a hidden door. "Bakugo, since you asked first? I'll sell you the ship I have."

She went in and the group turned around hearing a rumbling. Kyu emerged from the ocean in an oval-shaped ship. The front part of the ship contains the cockpit and flares out into two wings, one on each side, that house the engines. The majority of the ship is colored silver, but the underside is dark grey. She landed the ship before the entrance to the ship opened from the raise Kyu to the open.

Bakugo was thinking of getting it painted in his colors.

"Name your price." Bakugo said with a savage grin.

"500k." Kyu said as she got the money, and she gave him the keys. "If you need fuel, you can go to Silver Wings for it."

After a few more purchases (namely for new laptops to better access the WarpNet), Bakugo left with his friends on his new ship…which he called the 'Burning Falcon'.

"I can't believe Kyu sold you a spaceship…with a weapons system." Izuku said as Bakugo was piloting it.

"Believe it, Deku." Bakugo snarked.

"Are you sure it's wise to fly it into the city?" Ochako asked.

"What are they going to do? Arrest me?" Bakugo joked. "Pretty sure our Warper IDs function as licenses."

"By the way, how are you going to explain to Aunt Mitsuki about the spaceship or even taking her underwear to sell?" Izuku asked.

"…I'll wing it." Bakugo said simply.

[On the mainland…]

"Arashi-san, I'm rather glad you came to help Tsuyu explain this to me." Beru said.

Drake was in the Asui family home. Drake wound up meeting Tsuyu's siblings and her old friend, Habuko Mongoose, was watching the siblings on request from Beru. Drake had just answered a few questions concerning Gekkokage Island and the house Tsuyu was set to claim.

"I hope that having the class would develop their responsibility, allow for the fostering of growth with their Pokémon, and be a safeguard for them." Drake explained. "Tsuyu requested a portal from her place on the island to here. I can do this quite easily, I just need the spot to mark."

Hobuko stared intently at Drake for a moment.

"Mister Arashi, I really like your cape."

Drake looked to see a little Asui girl staring up with wide eyes.

"Are you a pro hero?"

That came from Samidare as he and her were looking up at him.

"Yes, for the most part. But this cape isn't apart of my hero costume." Drake said kindly.

"If you need a spot to place it…there's a closet." Beru said before showing him the place.

"Excellent." Drake said before revealing a three prong kunai knife…that he stabbed into the wall inside it. "It's marked. I'll be able to zip back here in a while to set the portal, remove the knife, and fix that hole."

"I assume that knife is special." Tsuyu said.

"You're learning." Drake said with a grin before looking sheepish. "Though this must be weird, how do I transition to say your daughter asked me out on a date?"

"Damn it!" Hobuko said. "I was thinking of it…"

"Sorry Hobuko-chan, Drake…interests me a lot. The good looks add to the mystery." Tsuyu said taking his hand. "We'll be back in a half hour."

"Have fun!" Beru said.

"Is Drake going to be my new big brother?" Satsuki asked.

"Satsuki, he has to marry him first!" Samidare said.

Drake wanted to use the Invisiblity Jutsu so bad to hide the blush, but he settled for shuffling out to his car. He was in a hurry to leave with Tsuyu.

"Your family is quite endearing." Drake said as Tsuyu chuckled.

"Sorry about that. Satsuki's so precocious." Tsuyu said.

"Don't worry, I did have to deal with little kids at times." Drake said as his phone blipped. "What…"

"It's an update from the Order…and it seems that Amanda woman is dead. Erased." Tsuyu said looking at Drake's phone.

Drake was quiet before he broke out the widest grin.

"Tsu, we have to celebrate this! That bitch is gone, and I feel GREAT!" Drake said beaming. "We should go get something to celebrate! Where's the nearest bar?"

"But we're unde-Oh…right, warper rules. The nearest one would be the Mos Eis, right over there." Tsuyu said as Drake pulls into the parking lot of it.

Drake and Tsuyu walked into the bar right in the middle of it being robbed from Hotstreak and the Meta-Men gang. The two did not notice Drake and Tsuyu, so Drake pulled Tsuyu out.

"Sorry, I just needed to get into costume." Drake said looking to his Omnitrix.

Pressing a button, Drake glowed as his outfit changed into his hero costume. The Sapphire Shadow was ready to make his debut.

"You ready?" He asked.

Tsuyu nodded and Drake dramatically kicked the doors open getting the gang's attention.

"Who the fuck are you?" Puff asked.

"Someone who is wondering how Hotstreak is out of jail and why you idiots are robbing a bar?" Drake said annoyed.

"Wait, you know that asshole who beat me up?" Hotstreak said snarling.

"I am that asshole, but the name's Sapphire. The Sapphire Shadow, now surrender…and I won't break your bones." Drake said darkly.

"You really should just give up." Tsuyu said taking a stance.

"How about you take a nap?" Puff said blowing gas at her.

"Wind Style: Dragon Wave." Tsuyu said cleaving through it with her wind covered fist. "How about you?"

"Onyx!" Puff said as the hulking brute lumbered up.

Drake looked to the bartender and asked if he had insurance. The bartender and Drake insisted that he would pay for any damage for the fight. He punched Onyx. Hard. Hard enough to send him into the wall leaving spider web cracks. Tsuyu showed her skill with Mizuame Bakujō using to restrain Puff. Carmen Dillo immediately surrendered, but Hotstreak was smart enough to escape dragging Carmen with them.

"Is everyone here all right?" Drake asked.

"Bruises, but we'll live." The bartender said as Drake put cash on the counter. "What's this for?"

"Repairs to this place. I would also want two glasses of your lightest red wine. For me and the lady." Drake said suavely.

"You're clearly a brat, but I'll let this go."

The drinks came as Drake pulled the mask up enough to drink.

"To heroism."

"Kanpai to that."

Tsuyu and him clinked glasses before having that drink waiting for the police to show up. Mt. Lady was the Pro to arrive on the scene with the cops as Drake and Tsuyu dragged the two captured thugs out while Mt. Lady was getting her picture taken.

"Hey! While you're getting pictures taken, the other two in their gang are getting away!" Drake called out.

"And who are you exactly?" Mt. Lady asked.

"The Shinobi Hero: Sapphire Shadow." Drake said as a reporter came over.

"Ah yes, the alien hero. I have a question…is it true you are quirkless?"

"Yes, I am, but I'm not powerless. My means of fighting are simply more…accessible to those willing to learn." Drake said crpyticaly.

"So, I lost to some quirkless asshole!" Puff yelled.

"Excuse me." Drake said before smacking Puff's head into Onyx's to knock her out. "There we go."

The two were handed off to the police and the reporter wanted to talk to Tsuyu only to see her and Drake were gone. Out of his hero costume and back into his clothes from before, Drake was speeding away with Tsuyu in the Fairlady Z. Celebrating was just going to have take place elsewhere.
