Chapter 22 – Invasive Plotlines
[Deika City]
Cree had played spy plenty of times, but she could not help but feel a bit nervous given the scenario they were in. Himiko was calm and collected which did not help Cree at all. From what she heard about what Himiko did to her other before captured, she wondered if Himiko was cold blooded. Cree's cover was of an immigrant with a fire quirk.
"Something's up. Why would they call a meeting out of the blue?" Himiko said sternly. "Be on your guard. If it's all hands on deck, something's very wrong."
Cree nodded as they left the apartment. As they did, Himiko and Cree sensed something, and they looked at each other before the explosion rocked the city. A battalion of ships came down the skies as soldiers rushed out opening fire. Himiko and Cree hastily went back inside with Himiko calling Stain.
"Mind explaining why a bunch of warpers are shredding through the city?" Himiko asked.
"Beats me. Seems they've ambushed them, and they're not with us. It's best you two made a hasty retreat." Stain said before hanging up.
"Flying's not an option." Cree said.
Himiko revealed a capsule remarking she was glad she ordered from XanTech. The two grabbed their things and went outside where Himiko revealed that within the capsule was an Infernus. The two got in with Himiko taking to the streets having to dodge bullets, bombs, and bodies.
"Damn it, damn it, damn it. We're supposed to just be gathering information and some ragtag group of assholes just shoot us and ask questions later!" Himiko said as Chitose was fighting off soldiers. "But seeing I have the chance to do something…"
WHAM! She ran off Chitose all the while laughing like a maniac, but Cree just asked if that was really needed. Himiko just gave a cheeky grin hitting the nitrous to gain more distance.
"We need to get to the city limits before whoever's attacking can cut us off." Cree said eyeing the ships. "Looks like they're going for a takeover. Tell me, you fine-tuned this thing for speed."
[Cues: The Chemical Brothers – Galvanize]
Himiko flipped on the radio and hit the pedal. For Himiko, it was a race to the finish and her look of excitement really make Cree think she was not taking it seriously. The casualness of running over any MLA members did not help. Her using a finger to wipe blood off the windshield to savor in her mouth got Cree's skin crawling.
"You're not going to harvest me for blood, are you?" Cree asked shakily.
Himiko ignored her and slammed the brakes to let an out-of-control truck pass them to crash into a fire hydrant. Across the skies, the Grand Revenant floated watching over the carnage. Ironwood did not exactly like resorting to the Rendo Nexus methods of getting numbers, but…it did work.
"Sir, we're detected two warpers on the ground that are not ours."
"What are they doing?" He asked.
"Fleeing it seems. They've ran over a few MLA members, shall we persue?"
"No. Let them go, if they're not attacking us then we have no time to waste on them, Harriet." Ironwood said.
"Interesting, it seems those two warpers are from CN-Zen Kuro." Verdona thought.
On the ground, Himiko and Cree noticed the soldiers were backing off from them and letting them pass.
"Whoever's in charge has definitely called them off." Himiko said drifting to a stop. "That means it's safe to fly."
Cree got out with her as Himiko returned her car to its caspule.
[Cues: Dragon Ball Z Supersonic Warriors 2 – Cutscene 3]
The two were quick to take to the skies being blazing streaks leaving the city. Stain would fly up to join them asking how Kyu was going to take this.
"On the bright side of things, the MLA fell so that's one less ally for the League of Villains." Cree said as both Himiko and Stain shot her a look. "What?"
"Warpers just came and took over a city. Yes, those villains are taken out, but they leave behind a shit ton of cash, DNA that can be harvested, and a foothold. That's an issue right there especially given we don't know who attacked." Himiko said sternly. "This is not a victory to celebrate. We need to report this before they get any idea to go after us!"

When they were on the buses to USJ, the anti-hero trio had pretty much flat out told everyone to be ready for a villain attack. It had a rare moment when Drake allowed everyone access to his TM/TR collection to use, and everyone who needed it was not going to pass up on it. Ochako looked to the Fire Stone in her hands and looked to Helios before making her decision. She wanted him in his cute state a bit longer but figured she should not hold it off much longer. Thus, she gave it to him, and Helios was now an Arcanine. Innocently, he leapt up on his trainer's lap and licked her face.
"Helios, take it easy. You're warm and a bit bigger." Ochako said as Izuku ruffled his head.
"Sorry…" Helios said getting off of her before returned to his ball.
"I'm so ready." Bakugo said with a grin.
His Pokémon were eager to fight and so was he. He even bought a few grenades from XanTech just for some extra kicks. Mineta was adjusting his hero outfit, he had gone for the masked martial artist look with some extra armor on the shins and shoulders. He was still a bit unsure on it, but he thought of what Brit said about it. The buses had arrived, and they all descended to see the Pro Hero, Thirteen, waiting for them.
"A pleasure to meet you all. I'm Thirteen, and I'll be your guide for the Unforeseen Simulation Joint. First, let me say to Omnious Omega, Sapphire Shadow, and Nightshade, welcome to the Pro Hero fold." Thirteen said cheerfully.
The three gave stiff nods before they all went in. Of course, those aware knew the League of Villains were going to show up and they promptly did. Tomura expected fear, but he got apathy as he and his men showed up.
"Aren't you scared?" Tomura asked. "We're broadcasting this live on the internet."
He had planned this considering the 'aliens' in the news giving the people hope. Tomura had planned to have this slaughter broadcasted. But it would not work if the victims were unafraid of them.
"Not really. You're not really scary. You're just a placeholder for the real threat." Drake said unimpressed. "You got that bitch boy vibe."
"Shiragaki, I believe those are the three 'aliens'. And shall I get Nomu out?" Kurogiri said as Tomura glared at them.
Tomura stopped him and stated he'd fight the alien himself not liking that placeholder crack.
"All right. I guess I'll take Tumeric here." Drake said cracking his knuckles. "Class, today we're fighting villains. Don't hold back much."
What made Tomura fume was Jericho saying she had complete faith in her students to take on the mooks.
"Are you serious?!" Tomura exploded. "We're the League of-"
[Cues: Metroid Prime 2 Echoes OST – Dark Samus Approaches]
BLAM! Drake unleashed a kiai causing Tomura to get slugged with a fist shaped shockwave to the face sending him spiraling to the ground. The battle was on, and the two sides converged unaware of the figure watching them from far out of sight.
"The USJ event has commenced."
"Perfect, it's not too late to issue the takeover. Go and interrupt that little spat. And while you're at it, eliminate Kurogiri and Tomura."
"You sure?"
"Threats to the plan. Without him, the League will lose major assets."
"Just making sure. And what's with the voice modulator, Ryker?"
"I was trying a thing. Kenji and the others are in the universe, so set the table." Ryker remarked before hanging up.
She rose with a confident smirk as she exited her hidden base looking down at the planet below.
"Ready or not, here I come."

[Cues: Toxic Crusaders (NES) – Stage 1]
It was sheer madness. Tomura just wanted to kill a kid, but the aliens denied him and insulted him. He figured his day would not get worse, but apparently all the students had animal summoning quirks because the mooks were swarmed. He called Kurogiri for help, but his faithful servant was sucked into a rice cooker!
"This was not how it's supposed to go!" Tomura wailed. "I will decay your face off for this."
Drake went to his Omnitrix and Tomura lunged. There was a bright blue flash and Tomura's hand was caught a hot hand.
[Music Ends]
The flash cleared showing Drake was now a plasma-based life-form whose body is composed of a super hot inner plasma body covered by dark brown volcanic rocks. His feet have a slight oval-like design with only two toes and one back toe. His tongue is also made of fire. The flames were sapphire blue and the Trix symbol was on his chest.
Tomura's fingers had gotten on his face which was damaging them both.
"What the hell are you?!" Tomura asked.
"I am the Sapphire Shadow!" Drake said in his new huskier voice.
He swung him and slammed him into the ground letting him bounce off it before giving him a fiery uppercut that sent the hand on his face flying onto the ground. Tomura forced himself up and Drake cracked his knuckles. Then Orion, Fuji, and Helio got in front of Drake.
"Drake! Blast them!" Izuku said before spin kicking a villain. "They have Flash Fire!"
Drake realized exactly what Izuku was going for and poured flames upon them. The three Pokémon were unharmed, but their bodies bulked as the flames on Fuji got more intense.
"All together! Flamethrower!" Mina/Ochako/Izuku cried out as all three unleashed their empowered flames in a combined stream.
If Tomura had not scrambled for cover, all of him would have incinerated. Instead, it was his left arm that was roasted.
"Bascard, Scald him!" Momo said as boiling water assailed his back.
Tomura realized that most of the villains that he came were knocked out or worse. Those that were still breathing were running or surrendering leaving the heroes to focus their beloved pet on him. He dodged water and fire attacks wondering what Quirk this is. It did not help that they were all seemingly aware he needed to be in close range and were attacking long range.
"Rock Slide!"
Pantera, Onyx, Sir Sauce, and Nao made it rain rocks from sky as Tomura was moving around using his quirk to decay most of the rocks. Marina flew closer to Tomura as he was trying to swat her away.
"Infestation." Tsuyu said as Marina flapped her wings to sending light green spores from her wings.
"Hey, Tsuyu. What's that thing on her head?" Yuga asked.
"It's a Binding Band. I found it on the ground…it apparently increases the damage of binding moves. Infestation is among those moves." Tsuyu said as Tomura was screaming as tiny green bugs made of energy assailed his skin. "Marina, come back over here."
"MAKE IT STOP!" Tomura screamed as he felt the 'bugs' eating at him.
"Phantasma, Disable!" Aizawa said as he and his Gastly performed in sync.
For those brief moments, Tomura felt he was in hell. His Quirk failed him as the bugs ate at his skin and then Mina had Sirius use Confuse Ray which got Tomura seeing stars. He staggered as he felt weaker from the bugs. His vision blurred before falling to his knees. He was trying to force himself up only to look up to see Drake.
"Congrats. The world knows that the League of Villains are a big fat joke." Drake said before stomping down on his head burning his face and knocking him out.
Drake returned to his normal form having a few marks on his face from Shimura's Decay. He promptly kicked Tomura in the ribs for that. Unknown to our heroes, that livestream ended up with the original poster wanting to delete the footage, but it was already too late for the people to unsee hope even if the stream abruptly ended. For the parents watching, a sigh of relief that their children lived. Drake, Jericho, and Albedo looked upon their students. Some of their Pokémon had evolved after the fight or mid-fight. He was pretty sure they gained a few levels. His students did all look mildly banged up, but they were all still standing. Aizawa was in much better shape in that he did not have face Tomura which allowed him to take down nearly twice as much villains as he would in canon.
He turned to one of the villains in mostly one piece and walked up to the poor mook.
"I want you to sing for me. I want locations, names, and all that sweet information. Or else I'm going to make you sing." Drake said sending out Don Scorch. "Notice I didn't send mine out."
That mook sang and Izuku was furiously writing the details as All Might and the other heroes (namely Midnight and Harley) came in. All Might had worry on his face, but relaxed to see the kids, Thirteen, and Aizawa were all there in one piece.
"Young Arashi, is anything all right?" All Might asked.
"All Might, it's all good. Most of the villains need urgent care." Drake remarked as everyone sensed something. "Ok, what the hell was that?"
[Cues: Steven Universe Soundtrack – Snerson Interrogation]
A crash came down through the roof, a blinding light, and the shockwave sent everyone skidding back or falling down. The light faded to show a glowing person crackling with energy of both kinds. The glow faded revealing her full appearance. Her skin was bubblegum pink skin like Mina, deep pink eyes with diamond-shaped pupils, and shoulder-length yet large, fluffy pale pink hair. She was crouched on the ground before rising up to her full height. She wore a World War-esque black trench coat with a cerise fur-lined collar opened to show a black gi with a cerise undershirt that bared her midriff, futuristic looking white boots, a purple sash around the waist, black fingerless gloves, a rather large broadsword at her side, and a one strap backpack. On her midriff was a gemstone was in the place of where a navel would be, an inverted-side view of a round-cut diamond.
"Is that even human?" Yuga asked.
"So, these are the new warpers on the block…most interesting. At least you were smart enough to seal up Kurogiri." The newcomer said walking up to the downed Tomura. "And you did a number on this waste, but he's still breathing."
She vaporized him with an energy blast before anything could do anything.
"Well, he was breathing."
(A/N: Well, those who read my other works know who she was, and for those who don't…let's just say she's apart of the coming storm. And for those staying Tomura's death was sudden, I point to all the problems he won't be able to cause now. Although, this could force AFO's hands given his League was humiliated and his boy was beaten up on the net. All those efforts to delay the war, and they may have made it come sooner. Next chapter is going to be a companion piece showcasing the in-between fights with our students and the mooks (with the perspective of those watching across the net).)
