Chapter 26 – Three Lengthy Raids
~Raid Team A: Minecraft Raid~
It had been their first time leaving their universe, traveling through space. It was pretty wild for the students. Ochako and Mina rode on Izuku's ship with five soldiers from her army and one member from Section Iris.
"Space really looks beautiful." Mina said eyeing the star.
"It truly is, but let me make my introduction, Uraraka-dono." The spy said removing her mask revealing her face. "I am Hinoto, designated as Agent Soku."
She had not much older than her boss with her long light-brown hair and blue eyes. The agent revealed a small box which she plugged onto the console board for the ship. It glowed spidering to plug into the ship's systems before the glow faded to show a blue logo on the top of the box.
"It's standard issue for the allowing of quicker interdimensional travel, a warp flux cacpitor. Now Uraraka-dono, I was tasked by the board to be your leading hand for this mission. I will make my mission to ensure your safety." Hinoko said formally.
"Thank you, Hi-I mean Agent Soku." Ochako said adjusting her tie. "So where is our destination?"
"One of the many worlds of Minecraft. Basic fare for gathering raw materials given the game itself has produced a multiverse in itself. However, we're going to a Minecraft world under grips by Rendo Nexus, our enemy." Hinoko said giving Izuku the coordinates.
"Might I ask why?" Mina asked.
"On top of giving RN less means to cause problems. The Minecraftian world, Nexium, has deep Minecraftian diamond despoists. A Minecraftian diamond can be used to make armor and weapons along with being worth a small fortune." Hinoko said showing them all the intel. "Even better, RN is using a proxy company to run that world. Douglas Mining, which is made up of mostly ex-Cobalt agents."
"I see, we're clearing out a potential threat." Ochako said.
With Hinoko and the solider's instrurction, Izuku got the coordinates in before blasting his ship ahead warping right out of their home universe to behind. Sparks flashed as the ship flew out of the portal made before closing.
"We're here." Hinoko said gently. "If you do not mind, I will handle piloting. It is best you and the boss do your research into the world of Minecraft."
"Be careful with the Grasshopper." Izuku said as he got off the seat.
A solider snickered at the ship's name only to get elbowed by the other as Hinoko took the controllers.
"A better name from the Murder Rocket." Mina snarked.
Izuku was actively engrossed in the research seeing many ways to make use of things from the Minecraftian worlds. He estimated that the people from there had to be insanely strong to be able to move around in armors made of gold, iron, and or diamonds. He was quite intriguted the potions. Ochako was interested in diamonds. A small part of wanted a necklace of Minecraftian diamonds, earrings of them, and maybe armor. Mina was making a note to get herself a copy of the game. Soon enough, the Grasshopper touched down on the planet.
"Agent Soku, isn't this a base camp?" One of the soldiers asked.
"Yes, it's my own. I used to work on this universe, and I had my own camp hidden. I kept it off the records." Hinoko said parking the ship. "Exactly for this reason."
The camp was hidden in the center of a mountain within a mushroom biome. The ship's door opened up for the group to disembark.
"It is isolated and easy to grow food. It seems my farm was overgrown." Hinoko said sensing around. "No one for miles. But keep your energy suppressed."
Hinoko's first destination was with her house to check the computers. Much to her relief, her area was never discovered and Douglas Mining being lazy with their computer systems. She combed through the databanks and records.
"Dumbasses didn't even change the systems." Hinoko said before printing the list and shutting down her system. "But we got what with needed."
She came out to see Mina poking around in her fridge.
"It's rude to eat another woman's food." Hinoko said getting a squeak out of Mina.
"So, you got something for us?" Ochako asked.
"Yes, Douglas Minings has split their operations across multiple biomes. We are only going to strike one, a desert biome called Dibalo del Duggy." Hinoko reported. "I got the data on the employees working there. A few mindless Rei and Asuka clones under the control of two. We take out the two mooks, we can take the clones for ourselves."
"So, what are we going to do with the clones?" Ochako asked.
"Well, they're pretty much slave labor. Thankfully, while brainwashed…they're not hardcoded like RN's usual handiwork. I don't think they wanted their handiwork traced if they got busted. If we have to fight them, so be it." Hinoko said mirthfully.
"What about the other biomes?" Izuku asked.
"The other two are built for farms, and the employees are harmless new warpers. If anything, the two in the desert are the strongest on this rock and most likely the ones to guard. And that's not good for them. Misumi Tsurugi and Yoroi Akado. Misumi's not an issue, but Yoroi could absorb chakra with a touch. I will require aid." Hinoko said readying herself.
"I'll do it. I could use the experience." Mina said as Hinoko smirked.
Hinoko and Mina were off towards the desert leaving the rest behind to gather the chests at the camp to load onto the ship. The desert was blazing hot as the two were over it.
"You sense them up ahead?" Mina asked.
"Yeah, I do. And they have company." Hinoko said as the two landed on the ground near a building. "Follow my lead."
Hinoko used Transformation Jutsu to transform into Rei but Mina's own was a bit off in the chest department.
"Hopefully, they won't notice my tits." Mina joked.
"Hope they're not straight then." Hinoko joked right back as they moved in.
The building was air conditioned was one of Cobalt's bases for members to rest. Hinoko came to a back door, an Iron Door, and pulled a remote. He clicked a button and the door open.
"My god, they didn't even change any of the locks." Hinoko said as they entered. "That's fucking telling."
"That they're lazy?" Mina said as the door closed behind them.
"Considering Rendo Nexus's habits, they are not this sloppy. Meaning Kotestu, the leader, did not set up this operation himself." Hinoko said. "Never even fixed the broken camera in this hall. Come on. Security room, first."
The security room had a lone Asuka watching the camera, and Hinoko used Henge once again to turn into one.
"Hey. You're being relived of your duties for a break." Hinoko said putting on her best Asuka impression.
The Asuka clone mindlessly got up and stumbled out clearly sleep-deprived as Hinoko took the seat to turn off the security system.
"That was unsurprisingly easy." Mina said. "Then again, Henging takes practice."
Hinoko dropped the transformation as did Mina before moving for the bosses' office. There were Misumi and Yoroi unaware they were about to be attacked. The door was kicked as Hinoko preformed a Solar Flare blinding Misumi but not Yoroi…who had shades on. Yoroi lunged for Hinoko only for Mina to get to kick him into the wall. She sent Sirius to use Confuse Ray on the two putting them out of it allowing Hinoko to easily dispatch of both of them.
"Seems this place is small potatoes if they're putting these levels of mooks to watch the place." Hinoko said finding the control device. "Call the boss."
It was not the largest haul given the lack of security, but what the two mooks had stashed for themselves helped greated. They were creating potions for themselves among enchanted weaponry. As for the Rei and Asuka clones, they were incapitated and sealed away in a specialized sealing cube numbering at about seven clones in total.
"Ok, those clones' memories were reset. Roulette requested wanting an Asuka and Rei for the bordello. As for the rest, what do you wish to do with them?" Hinoko asked as Ochako's brow furrowed.
"Wait, you said that the clones' memories were rest? Why not place with the farmers? We can even blow up this mine and make it look they all escaped from it." Izuku suggested.
"That's not a bad idea either, plenty of TNT allowing it to look like an accident." One of the soldiers said.
"Then we hurry. We need to make it look as legit as possible." Hinoko said. "Ready the ship for us to escape!"
What the farmers would hear and see was a defeaning explosion with a mushroom cloud with the Grasshopper escaping under the cover the smoke. Ochako was thankful for Izuku's quick thinking and hoped those clones would be all right.
~Raid Team B: Grand Theft Auto Raid~
[Liberty City, HD Universe]
Bakugo had an odd euphoria from going on a raid in one of many verses of Grand Theft Auto. It was akin to the world being a giant stress room to smash what was in the way. They were mostly stealing and attacking criminal gangs. He had been started playing GTA IV recently making exploring the place all the more fun for him. Thus, he knew exactly what he wanted to take for himself after helping to steal a building not too far from the Grotti Showroom he was walking in Middle Drive East. He walked up to a cherry red Grotti Turismo Classic and had to smash open the passenger side window to get in. He was even surprised the car was there, but he figured it had to be special the regular Turismos.
"Hey, you have to pay for that!"
"Yeah, I don't think so." Bakugo said starting the car and driving it through the glass window.
Cops were on his tail, but he did not care. He could easily outspeed their range but then his communicator rang.
"Bakugo, I sense your close. I need you to pick me up from the Bank of Liberty!"
Bakugo put down the speed only see the agent who called him fleeing the bank on a Faggio that it's tires blown out. That agent rushed off for Bakugo's car dusting off the broken glass before sitting.
"Drive for Westdyke, Alderney. The abandoned mansion in the northern most point. Our team has completed it's task." The agent said.
"So was robbing the bank a task for the company or for your own paycheck? Because if it's for you, I want forty percent for driving you." Bakugo said speeding down the road.
"Thirty-five percent?" The agent weakly offered.
"Forty." Bakugo said flatly.
"Fine." The agent defeatedly said. "Forty it is."
Bakugo evaded the cops and arrived at the abandoned mansion to see the gathered team. The leader, Nikita, cleared her throat to get their attention.
"I want to inform you all, if you're thinking of stealing any cash or drugs for yourselves to add to your 'payment', you have to hand over 5% percent to the company until further notice." Nikita said getting groans from the crowd. "I know but it's needed for now. Go bring it forward."
Agents and soldiers handed in their cuts. Bakugo got lucky in that he did have to hand over five percent.
"Ok, let's pack it up and…"
"I have a question about my payment for assisting. I want a business for myself. Something I can manage as a front so I can net profits for myself." Bakugo asked.
"Ok, what business you got in mind?" Nikita asked.
"Drusilla's." Bakugo said with a shark like teeth. "After all, you can't have all the business under your company. Throw in a penthouse suite for me, and help me capsualize this Turismo. I'll accept that as payment…also give the agent I drove here his five percent back."
"That can be arranged." Nikita said.
The agent was happy to get it back, but Bakugo told him he owed him once. He could pay Bakugo back for that…by managing his new restaurant.
"All right, we need to pack it up. We got Los Santos to raid!" Nikita said.
~Raid Team C: Roulette Raid~
Roulette had the easiest job as all she needed was get interior stuff to redesign the Triangle Club that Team B was getting. Hina was giving Roulette the stink eye as they were on their way back to their universe.
"Are you still upset?" Roulette said
"More annoyed that you're seducing the boss for better benefits. You made it look so easy." Hina said.
"Master seductress, remember?" Roulette said with a wink. "I have my ways. Either way, we got everything we needed to do up the GS and the bordello. Hopefully, Ms. Cabot has secured the copyrights so I don't have to change the name."
"And you dragged me along because?" Hina asked.
"To get a feel for your personality and you're a good shot." Roulette said. "Trust me, I will make sure you are paid well with the job, with money."
"Good, because sex with you wasn't going to cut it." Hina said as Roulette pouted. "A girl needs to make a living."
(A/N: Longer than I hoped, but it's fine all over given the development. I wanted to establish Hina and Hinoko as serious and no-nonsense. Despite being a 'crime boss', Ochako still has Izuku to hold her from falling fully into the role. I also did want to establish that despite Cobalt was quite competent as a group and their fatal flaw was Amanda. Is Uraraka Industries going to get involved in the hero vs villain drama? No. They would not, instead they would seek to profit from it. How? That's an interesting question for next time.)
