[Cues Opening: My Hero Academia – The Day (Joji Remix)]

Our Anti-Hero Academia

Chapter 28 – Welcome to Deika

Mitsuki Bakugo was grateful that her son was coming home. She was worried about him when he called and said, 'Hey I'm going into space with space, be back in a few days'. For now, it was a new day and today was the grand opening for the new Deika City. She and her husband were driving there along with a few others. After all, Class 1-A and a select few were guests of honor. It was evident to public that more 'aliens' were coming as ships were heading for Deika City, and the Prime Minister had to quell the public nervousness that the immigrants were being imported to a city. Heroes, villains, and civilians were interested in the 'new' city. Plenty of opportunities all around. With a 'major' warper stronghold in the mainland, this got the Pokémon regions hidden away to open up with visitors coming in who had been watching things play out for the right time.

The news had been quite interesting for many as the Lady Nagant scandal had been made public. The 'official' story that had been given to the public basically had played up Nagant as a hero who slew a corrupt president and was punished for it for the vice president to cover it up. But the warpers knew the whole story, it was why Izuku wanted to help her. Drake had to hand it to Araysh for keeping to his word and getting him, Albedo, Jericho, and Harley fully licensed.

He could still roll his eyes at the news reel thoughts. However, while Drake had the suit, he was deciding on who to take to the opening. People were going with a +1. Albedo had Toru. Jericho had decided to take Mei with her. Harley decided to take Nemuri with her. Him? He was debating between Momo, Jiro, and Tsuyu. Rumi was already on her way to the event.

"Screw it, I may as well take all three." Drake said before calling up Tsuyu first. "Hey Tsu, I wanted to ask if you wanted to be my +1 to the event."

"I really wanted to do, but I promised to take my siblings with me. Speaking of that, I do want to ask you a favor. I'm in of transportation, and I wanted to ask for a loan." Tsuyu said.

"Say no more. I can get you something free of charge. Four-doored preferably." Drake said as Tsuyu approved. "Good, I'll pick up and drop it off on your place. Later, Tsu."

He hung up as there was a knock on the door. He came to see it was Momo, in a long black sleeveless one strap gown. Despite it's dark color, it glitters now and then in the light. Red heels, ruby stud earrings, a gold necklace, black stockings, a red purse, a gold bracelet on her left hand, a bit of lip gloss, and her hair was down.

"You look amazing…" Drake said breathless.

"You clean up well yourself, Drake." Momo said. "From the looks of things, you're ready to go."

"Yeah, I'll need to drop something off for Tsuyu. She has to take her siblings and she needs a car." Drake said. "I'm going to make sure to arrange a trip to Mt. Might to teach you all how to mine for treasures."

"That would be best." Momo said as Drake looked through his capsule case.

"I got a new place in Deika." Drake said getting one of out of his case before closing in. "I was thinking after the celebration, we could check that out."

"Inviting me over? A bit hasty?" Momo said with a thin blush.

Drake groaned under his breath and got the car out of the capsule, a luxurious Mammoth Patriot. An SUV meant for cruising and styling with chrome bumpers, secondary short exhaust, a chrome sports hood, limo tinted bulletproof windows, LED striping lights, fluorescent blue Benefactor rims in bulletproof tires, and the car painted a slick black with a pair of blue streaks on the sides. Jericho had called it the 'Sex-U-V' considering the car did have hook up potential.

He and Momo got in.

"This interior is so relaxing." Momo said as Drake started in up. "Glad to hear."

He drove over to Mirage Beach over to Silver Wing Autos where Drayden was manning the store with the family sans Nora.

[Cues: Midnight Club 3 Dub Edition OST – Loading Theme 1]

Wheeling in the car, Drayden whistled in appreciation as Drake and Momo came down from it.

"Damn, you looking to score with the ladies. Jericho told me about this car." Drayden said as Drake looked him pleadingly to stop. "What can I do you for?"

"I need a new car. A Shyster PMP 600." Drake said.

"357,000." Kyanna drawled.

"I have American money." Drake said to the relief of the couple.

"3,200." Drayden said giving him the money. "Any color in mind, regular or sport version?"

"Sport version and paint it Securicor Dark Green. And I'll it in a capsule to go." Drake said as Kyanna left Kimona and Phillip in her husband's hand.

It was a quick job and Kyanna handed off the capsule to Drake.

"I may have to put in an order for myself soon enough. The hovercar is really nice, but it draws a bit too much attention on the mainland. Any deals or recommendations?" Momo asked.

"I got something in mind, but I need to finish it first. I do have a car I've been working on myself for a while now. I'd gladly give it you for free. It's good advertising considering my new auto shop in Deika. There's going to be a racing scene there soon enough." Drayden said jovially.

"I assume that's why Nora isn't here." Drake said getting in the car with Momo.

"Yeah, she's running the Deika branch now." Drayden said with a chuckle. "Be seeing you."

Jiro had gone to Valerie for advice on clothes as she wanted to ask Drake to go with her but had no idea on what to wear. The kooky goth did have an eye for clothes so she to her.

"I understand you want to impress Drake, but I think he probably will be down for you in anything." Valerie joked before giving her an outfit to try on. "Try this one."

Jiro came out a dark purple sleeveless short halter dress with a Gengar silhouette on it, black punk styled fishnet stockings, matching fingerless arm sleeves, a black belt with a Dusk Ball design in the center, black low-heeled boots, silver bangles on her wrists, and a moss green studded short jacket.

Valeriya slapped on some black lipstick and some eyeshadow on Jiro's face before showing her the mirror.

"He'll be itching to get dress off of you in no time flat. I do sell some quality underwear you know." Valerie said as Jiro was red-faced.

Jiro paid up and left the store to see the car there. Drake lowered the window eyeing the new look.

"Songbird…singing out a dark melody." Drake said. "I guess I lit up the day."

Jiro went for the passenger side only to see Momo was already there. Hiding her disappointment, she went for the backseat.

"Nice car. And you look good yourself." Jiro said. "Momo."

"Jiro." Momo said as Drake got to driving.

Using the teleporter to return to the mainland, Drake was quick to get on the main road and put on the radio.

"Good morning, Japan! This is your newest radio station, Independence Iota, home of the varied arts across the stars based out of Deika City. I am your host, Jubilation Lee! Let's kick it up and show you a scene from 1990s' when quirks were called mutations."

[Cue Radio: Alice in Chains – Them Bones]

He cranked that up.

"Damn, if it's classic Jubilation, she just redeemed herself." Drake raved as Jiro bopped her hand to song.

He sang to it which got a laugh out of Momo only for Drake's phone interrupted it and the radio.

[Music Ends]

"Jericho. You interrupted me." Drake said after answering.

"Yeah, sorry, but we got a bit of an issue. There's been rumors soon villains want to show their face." Jericho said as Drake growled.

"League of Villains?" Drake asked.

"Presumably. You think you know who let Tomura's team go loose while he looks for a new successor?" Jericho said as Drake sighed.

"No doubt. Nine's still out there." Jericho said as Drake flinched.

Momo made a mental note to look into that.

"At the the hospital is under watch and we got Araysh making no records of ours or the students end up going there." Drake said.

"So who are you taking as your +1?" Jericho teased.

"Can you please stop with the teasing?" Jiro asked. "I get enough of that at home."

"I figured you'd take Momo for this kinda thing. Or did you take both because funny enough, polyarmory is an accepted th-"

Drake hung up on her and the radio returned.

[Cue Radio: Lofi Boy – The Struggles in the 90s]

Instead of the hard rock, the station now played a lo-fi beat that Momo could get into.

"Ay yo, this one's for you shonen brothers and shoujo sisters out there struggling out since the 90s." Jubilee rapped out.

"Well not mad at the choice. Much." Drake said blazing through the streets.

Several songs later, they were arriving at Deika City. They could help but marvel at the city looking like a merger of worlds. Bright and colorful yet dark and demure at the same time with an air of warper energy. The place simply looked expanded. Drake, Momo, and Jiro's blipped causing him to pull over. The map of the place had been beamed to their phones.

"Oh cool, it's styled like the maps in Grand Theft Auto." Drake said before driving back on the road. "And I sense the others."

The celebration was being heard at a public park, Gravity Park. Drake had parked before he and the girls entered. For Jiro and Momo (and others like them), this was their first full exposure to other species. Though considering Quirks, this mitigated the shock. An anthromorphic pony was not going to really freak them out. They had caught to the others, but Ochako was not among them.

"Cutting out sharp, Midoriya." Drake said as Izuku fluffed his suit.

"I got it at Perseus. Mina said, I made this one pop." Izuku said sheepishly.

"So what's the deal? Are you and Ocha a thing…you and Mina, or is it all three of you together?" Jericho asked as Izuku was quiet.

"There you are!" Mitsuki said storming up smacking Bakugo over the head. "How dare you run off to space and act like that's not a big deal! I don't care if we're warpers now!"

"You told her?" Drake asked Bakugo.

"Actually, I did." Inko said.

"And you warpers are perverts. So much porn of me on your internet!" Mistuki said glaring at Drake.

"Why you looking at me like that's my fault? Rule 34 existed before me, during me, and after me. Besides, I'm pretty sure Inko has more art made of her than you." Drake said snappily getting a laugh out of Jericho.

"But I'm more…"

"Mitsuki, finish that sentence and I'll see if my quirk let's me tear out your eye." Inko said surprisingly everyone as Mitsuki shut up.

"Please don't remind me of the art, I have to scrub the BakuDeku out of mind!" Bakugo snarled.

"It's weird using R34 you know, the proportions are sometimes off and it kills the boner." Mineta mused.

"I swear if you used that site to look up my mom, I…"

"Oh please, if your mom is like you, the boner's dead on arrival." Mineta said as Brit, Denki, and Tiff were laughing.

"Grape boy got jokes. Shouldn't you be making passes at traumatized girls?" Bakugo snarled.

"Shouldn't you being a flaming dumpster-fire until Izuku beats the development into you?" Mineta snarked.

The stage in the middle of the park was up as Alexander Undinov took the stage.

"Welcome citizens and guests to the new and improved, Deika City. And to make the opening speeches. The mayor of our fine town, Veronica Sinclair. Alongside her is our town's golden girl, Ochako Uraraka!"

Claps were made as both took the stage. Drake was rather surprised to see Roulette was alive, and Jericho was giddy. Roulette was in a red skirt suit this time with the same heels and she took the mic first.

"As the first of mayors in the new Deika City, I want to welcome our new citizens to our city full of opportunities for relaxation and commerce. A den of vice and merriment yet capable of being the place to settle down and start a family. As your mayor, I seek to be a public servant to improve things…"

"And line your own wallet." Drake thought.

He did not doubt that Roulette could be a good mayor, but she was money-hungry. The speech was the standard stuff before Ochako took the stage.

"I never thought I'd be stage making a new place, a better place. But here we are, I want to thank my parents, Izuku, Mina, and even Bakugo for having my back. Managing Uraraka Industries, still be in school, and being in-training is a lot to juggle, but I can relish the challenge! To Deika, our new melting pot!"

Cheers came as a one man band who used clone jutsu started off with a jazzy tune.

[Cues: Pokémon DPPT: Pastoria City / Solaceon Town - Jazz Cover || insaneintherainmusic]

"Drake, Jericho! I'm so glad to see you two." Roulette said coming down and hugging the two. "You've lived well since you left."

"We thought you died." Drake said quietly.

"Backup bodies." Roulette explained. "I did call Amanda a paranoid nut for having that kind of set up. I…sort of owe her one for calling you crazy."

"I'm surprised you even came back to Cobalt." Jericho remarked.

"Ironic given it was Amanda being the reason I died in the first place." Roulette said. "I had found out about what she did to you. I'm…sorry. By the time, I got out with my new body…you two were already gone. I only stayed to make sure Amanda saw justice."

"Figures." Jericho said. "But we should catch up over drinks."

"I can't. I came with dates." Drake said.

"Aw, so Drake's a ladykiller now." Roulette said. "After what I thought you, you'll have them simping for you."

"You trained Arashi?" Izuku asked as Drake groaned.

"She taught us the art of pleasure and seduction." Jericho said as Drake looked like he wanted to hide.

"Oh Drake, show some pride. Jericho and I know well enough that you're an animal in the sh-"

"Roulette, shut it." Drake said fuming as Mei had a goofy grin on her face.

Mei had been cleaned up for the event but was in a three-piece suit. He shrugged it off as Mei being eccentric.

"Well that explains how you and Drake are so good at sex." Harley said as Mei agreed and Drake facepalmed.

"Do you still give le-"

"Finish that sentence, Denki. No one here will fix what I do to you." Drake said darkly.

"Look, do have fun with your dates. We can catch up later. After all, I may need you for a few jobs." Roulette said before leaving. "Laters."

"That woman." Drake said under his breath.

"Drake, we don't think less of you for knowing that. If anything…it's a good thing." Momo said trying to make him feel better.

"Can we go check out my new house?" Drake said as Tsuyu came up.

"Drake-kun, you're looking all sharp there." Tsuyu said before hugging him. "And thanks for the car, it runs perfectly. I'll pay you back."

"Aw, Tsuyu. Don't fret about it." Drake insisted.

"That's only going to make me fret about it more." Tsuyu said with a pout.

"By the way, where are your siblings?" Drake asked.

"With my mother. Apparently, my mother's work got kicked up to Deika." Tsuyu said. "So, she offered to look after them as long as I take them home later. So about that house of yours?"

"Let's cruise around the city first." Drake said leaving with Tsuyu, Momo, and Jiro.

Izuku was already leaving with his mother.

"So you got a place here in this city?" Inko asked him.

"Yeah, not exactly a house. It's more like a penthouse." Izuku said sheepish.

"That doesn't matter. You're moving on up." Inko said cheerfully. "You even have a business."

Mina was equally giddy to have a luxurious place. Ochako had caught up to her parents.

"How's the new home?" She asked them.

"It's roomy." Mrs. Uraraka said. "You didn't have to get us a small mansion."

"I wanted to ensure you lived in comfort after working so hard. We can run the business and have a place to relax with less worry." Ochako insisted.

"True, but you're not exactly living with us. But you need your own space." Mr. Uraraka said hugging his father. "Though, I have to ask…that Midoriya boy, you seeing him?"

Ochako did not answer just letting the blush lay on her face.

"Ochako, let's go out for drinks to celebrate!" Mina said coming up. "I'll drive."

"No, I'm calling a cab." Ochako said getting her phone. "Izuku coming with us?"

"Of course he is." Mina said excitedly.

With the success of the mission, Uraraka Industries had allowed for Izuku, Mina, and Bakugo to have a business that they could own and collect profits from. Bakugo had Drusilla's (an Italian restaurant). Izuku owned an auto dealership. Unbeknownst to UI, he had called up Drayden to ask about teaming up which worked as the Delrio family had only secured a garage in the city. With the alliance, it increased the profit collection and got him free garage services (plus half off at getting rides from them). Mina had opted to get her own nightclub, Maisonette Deika.

"Did you forget we're going to the opening for Green Streak Autos?" Ochako said. "Izuku said he'd meet us there."

The plan was to attack Deika City in the opening, but the League of Villains had a bit of an issue on leadership. Dabi was continually upset at Mustard, but the fire wielder found himself simply outvoted. As haughty as Mustard could be, the other villains agreed that Mustard had a semblance of a plan unlike Dabi.

"So why are we meeting at this shitty warehouse instead of the bar?" Dabi asked.

The dark warehouse was barely lit up by the lights of the boarded up windows.

"Because I have reason to believe that the bar is bugged and/or being watched by our government." Mustard said sternly.

"You can't be serious." Dabi remarked.

"I've seen a distinct unmarked car pass by the place." Mustard said darkly.

"Windows tinted aside from it's unassuming looks." Twice remarked. "I've been seeing it lately."

"Could be a coincidence?" Dabi argued.

"Not with Tomura dead. As for Kurogiri, who knows what happened to him. I'm assuming he's mostly dead if he can't warp back to us." Mustard said sternly. "We need to make a move to a new place of operations and get new fronts. Along with the start of recruiting to our numbers to make this a real league. Magne has been working on that."

"We had to use a bit of funds to bribe our way to get a few villains out of prison that the aliens fought." Mr. Compress said. "We even managed to recruit villains formerly apart of the MLA who got a bone to pick with the new owners of Deika."

"Our numbers stand at 200. We need a hierarchy." Spinner said begrudgingly. "If we're going to be a better organization, ranks and positions would help."

"Ugh, we could going on a rampage in Deika City by now!" Muscular said siding with Dabi. "Dabi was…"

"Oh and I guess you want to end up like Tomura!" Mustard snapped. "If you and Dabi are ready to go on a suicide run, go on and walk through that door. I'm just sure the heroes are going to love we lost more powerhouses!"

The hulking villain paused as he saw Mustard was clearly not in the mood. And when Muscular did not budge, as he knew Mustard had a point.

"Now, Spinner's right. We can adapt a yakuza format." Mustard said. "And I elect Spinner as the underboss under me."

Spinner was surprised but Dabi protested demanding a vote. Mustard asked the group of Dabi should be the boss. Muscular wanted to vote for Dabi, but did not realizing he'd be outvoted. Whether they liked it or not, Mustard had taken charge.

"We're going to need a lawyer. Some civilians to act as our face to manage fronts. And I got a people for that, a former lawyer and one of the former managers for Detnerat Company." Mustard said as they walked out of a shadowy corner of the warehouse. "I've brought them here."

The lawyer was a man who looked corporate with his dark soiree suit, red tie, and red wingtips. Plain faced with grey eyes and copper hair, he looked all around average and unassuming Japanese businessman. That was until he flashed a fang faced grin, his irises went red with slits, and a blackened aura formed around his body. His grin was eerily close to a Glasgow grin and he looked a lot taller now with a bit of bulk.

"Ken. Ken Rokushō. I'm the lawyer who feeds off your sins." Ken said with a cackle. "Fitting for you to make a deal with…a devil."

Dabi walked up to him not thinking Ken to be a threat until Ken punched him across the room with a smoking fist.

"Kid, I'm a lawyer and an accountant. I'm around scumbags so much, it's a feeding frenzy for me." Ken said returning to normal. "Unless you, I can blend in plain sight."

The former manager was a woman, one that stood up to Himiko's height with thin dark hair and cold gray eyes. She even had a similar tone and figure to the blood maniac. The manager wore a white blouse under a brown ski jacket, espresso slacks, and beige oxford shoes. Her pale skin, soft face, posture, average height, mildly attractive body, glasses, and bun hairdo said, 'I'm a pencil pusher and a people pleaser'. Which was exactly what she wanted them to think.

"Min Xi." Min said quietly.

"So, what exactly is the plan?" Dabi said.

"Well, you see, when Detnerat was going to shit, I did the smart thing and sold what I could before leaving Deika. So, I have plenty of money to invest and a bit of property." Ken said. "Min and I are going to ensure you have new sources of funding. First things first, the bar has to be closed down for a 'new owner' to take it over."

"I know former Detnerat staff not taken the new company in need of work." Min said meekly.

"But why are you doing this?" Mr. Compress asked. "Revenge against the new company?"

"Ha! I don't even care about that. If anything, it's only an opportunity to go start my own from the ashes." Ken said with a bow. "Isn't that right, Min?"

She meekly nodded.

"This is why Ken is going to be our advisor." Mustard said. "We'll start small and work our way up. Let the heroes think we've gone quiet…for now."

(A/N: So, why Mustard be the one calling the shot instead of Dabi? Simple, because Dabi's no better than Tomura. It's Mustard's personality to be more methodical. He's arrogant, but he's like that because he has a plan. Ken Rokusho's Quirk (Sin Support) finds off the sins and negative emotions of others to add to his strength allowing for enhanced strength, durability, sight, energy blasts from the eyes, and flight. Does Min have a quirk? Well, maybe…maybe not. Next chapter continues the Deika City introduction.)
