This is based on The Magnificent Seven television series (2016), Season 2, episode 3 "Love and Honor"

Buck attempts to protect a young woman's honor by defending her against the men that come looking for her. In this story, Chris has something to say about this, but he lets his belt do the talking.

Pairing: Chris/Buck (M/M) belt

Love. It was a beautiful thing. Buck just couldn't take his eyes off the comely and intense Mexican beauty Inez. She spurred his every advance, which only made him want her more. As she served his beer a the hotel, even a

Nathan and Josiah had a good laugh over their banter, which always ended with Inez getting the upper hand.

Nathan laughed, "Devil himself doesn't get burned that bad!" after Inez told Buck she would let him buy him her a drink never.

Chris met the gun fighter again in the street after he, his boss and two other cowboys had tried to steal his horse earlier. Thanks to Vin and his quick draw, the bid to steal his horse was unsuccessful. This greatly angered Don Paulo Monterro, the arrogant, spoiled son of a wealthy Mexican businessman.

Raphael Cordova de Martinez thought very highly of himself as a gunfighter, he worked for Don Paulo's father, yet the son thought he was the boss. De Martinez himself walked and talked with the confidence of a man who could back up his words with skill and cunning. He admitted that his patron's son, the smartly dressed Don Paulo had asked de Martinez to kill Chris.

Chris replied, "Well, I appreciate the warning." Chris was unaffected by this news.

De Martinez went on about seeing more of Chris' gun work and then bragged about how handy he was with the steel.

Chris could only answer, "I supposed I'll just have to take you word for that."

De Martinez was amazed at the calmness of this man. He tossed an orange up in the air and shot it.

He asked, "Do you feel like dying today?"

Chris answered, "I feel lie today is just as good as any other."

De Martinez considered that and answered back, "Who knows what the day will bring." Little did De Martinez know that he himself would be quite surprised by the end of the day and everything would change.

Don Paulo would never stop searching for the fiery Inez. Not only had she spurred his advances, stolen a horse, and left during the feast when he tried to make love to her in the street, she had humiliated him. The whole village knew that this woman had rejected him. Don Paulo could not live with this dishonor. Inez was his, to take and punish as he saw fit. And oh, did he have plans for her submission. The thief would have to pay.

After knifing one of his father's men for getting wounded by Chris, Don Paulo finally found Inez. It was a milagro, for him, not her. Don Paulo then met Buck, the gringo who seemed to want to give his life defending Inez. If that was how his fool wanted to die, then he shall. Don Paulo challenged him to a duel. Little did this Buck Wilmington character know that it would be his style of dueling, with rapiers, not guns.

Chris couldn't believe what he was hearing. Buck was going to duel to Don Paulo. What in Hades was he thinking?

Chris found Buck where he was practicing some target shooting and decided to have a word with him.

"It's funny but when you come into contact with a woman, your brain just slipped below your belt," Chris scoffs at his old friend.

"Hey, I got a reputation to defend," Buck quipped lightly.

Chris became angry, "You're willing to take a man's life, put your own on the life for your reputation?"

Buck was becoming defensive. He had seen Chris risk his life to fight for what was right many times.

"I am standing up for what is right. Now, you'd do the same," Buck replied.

"That's your pride talking," Chris countered.

"No, Chris, that's me talking," Buck yelled.

"You know, Buck, what would you do if it was J.D. fixing to do something as stupid as what you're planning, huh? Cause let me tell you, that boy is worried sick and almost got into it in the saloon with Don Paulo's man defending your honor," Chris shouted back.

"He what? That man is as deadly as Diamondback. I ought to whup him again. He don't have no sense," Buck muttered.

"Maybe you're the one who needs a lickin' this time, huh? This Don Paulo is bad news. He don't fight fair. Inez is going crazy trying to think of a plan to get you free and clear of this. Now will you face reality or do I have to do something neither one of us is going to like," Chris demanded.

"Chris, I don't know what you're talking about, but I have to do this. My honor depends on-," Buck continued.

"I'll show you your honor," Chris hissed, grabbing Buck by the arm and shoving him into the small shack nearby. Buck was caught off guard and didn't even realize what was happening until Chris had him face down over a small table. Chris unbuckled his belt with one hand while keeping Buck down with the other. He tore it from the loops in his pants and Buck heard the slight whistling noise.

Buck barely got out, "What in God's green-,?" before the first crack of the strap made contact with his stubborn backside.

Whap!

Whap!

Chris was holding Buck down and swinging the doubled over belt as hard as he could. He wasn't just angry, he was scared. His friend was going to either die or kill someone.

Whap!

"Okay, Chris, let me up now! Stop jesting," Buck whined starting to feel the burn from each fresh stripe Chris laid down fast and hard against his backside.

Whap! Whap!

"Oww. Come on. That hurts," Buck was trying to stand but Chris was leaning his weight against Buck and pinning him. He couldn't move.

Whap! Whap! WHap!

Buck tried to bring his right hand down to protect his stinging behind. Chris was licking him hard enough that he could feel it pretty good through his britches. Soon the rough fabric of his britches feel like the thinnest silk.

Whap! Whap!

Chris just started strapping Buck's thighs under his hand until Buck moved it back.

Whap! Whap!

"Okay, Chris. Please, you made your point! Owww," Buck started hissing in pain. It was burning something awful.

Whap! Whap!

Chris was laying down licks over both of Buck's sore cheeks now in the same exact area. Buck was having a hard time not yelling out. He sure didn't want anyone getting curious though if he started hollering.

Whap! Whap!

"I'm sorry, Chris, but it ain't my pride. I can't let that monster hurt Inez. *Whap!* If you a better plan, I'll follow it. *Whap* If not, I got to do this. Please stop," Buck pleaded with his friend on the verge of tears.

Whap! Whap!

Chris was out of breath. For a time, he had been so focused on whipping some sense into Buck that he hadn't heard his pleas. He heard the last part. What was Buck gonna do? Just let that man take Inez and torture her or worse.

Chris dropped the belt and rested his hand on Buck's back, he backed up.

"Buck Wilmington, I can't let you die, but maybe we can come up with a plan to outsmart old Patron Monterro? You alright?" Chris said helping him up.

Buck wiped away a few stray tears and nodded. He couldn't help but rub his backside.

"Chris, you really tore me up! Good lord, you have a swing on you. I ain't never gonna sass you again. Lord have mercy," Buck said trying to lighten the mood.

"Hey Buck, I was only hard on you cause we can't lose you. Stop foolin' now, you alright? Tell me right now, I'm going put you over my knee. You don't doubt me, do ya?" Chris asked looking at him hard.

Buck shook his head and admitted, "Chris, I'm scared. I know I'm in over my head but I can't let him take Inez."

Chris put his arm around Buck and drew him in.

"We're gonna help you, Buck. It's okay," Chris said patting his back a little.

"Thank you. I mean not for strappin' me, cause I ain't going be able to sit for supper, but for caring. It means a lot," Buck admitted.

Chris picked up his thick leather belt and put it back on. Buck winced at his behind brushed against the table.

"I didn't mean to do that, Buck, but I ain't sorry. You had it coming," Chris offered.

"You would never lick J.D. this hard, would you?" Buck asked on behalf of their youngest friend.

"I think you ought to worry about this duel and what we are going to do about it. But to answer your question, no, I would hope I never have to do that to anyone again. I'm sure a good spanking would be enough to show him the errors of his way. He ain't as stubborn as you. My words just weren't getting through your thick skull," Chris confirmed.

They went to the hotel and came up with a plan to defeat Don Paulo. It turned out that Don Paulo had hired gunman to back him up if he lost the duel. Vin caught on to this plan and the other Seven spread out to protect the town during the duel. Buck ended up dueling Don Paulo with a sword. Nathan and Ezra had only had a day to give him some pointers before the duel, he did not fare well. Before Buck could fall to Don Paulo for good, Inez threw herself at the Don. He attacked her and Buck saved her.

After Buck gave Don Paulo a chance to live, he pulled a knife and tried to stab Buck. Raphael Cordova de Martinez killed Don Paulo himself and had to leave town. The other Magnificent Seven fighters stopped Don Paulo's rogue gang from peppering the town with bullets.

As Josiah had said before from the Iliad, "And the great city of Troy lays in ashes. All for the wooing of a woman." Yet the Magnificent had protected the town again. Inez was free to again spurn Buck's advances, but she did thank him with a kiss. That was all the thanks he needed.

Right before de Martinez took off, he finally got to see Chris' shooting when Chris tossed up J.D.'s hat high into the air and shot it full of holes. All agreed that J.D. needed a new hat anyway.

"That's some fancy shootin', Chris," Buck said as JD went to woo his own lady by buying her a frog gigger. Josiah had realized the couple had their own unique style.

"Yep, you look a little worse for wear. What'd Nathan say?" Chris said checking out Buck's cuts and bandaged wounds.

"It's going take some time to heal. But I had a real hard time explaining the welts on my behind. Nathan kind of figured it out and agreed that I deserved it for being so foolhardy," Buck said unabashedly.

"Yeah, well, maybe they will keep you from risking your life for at least another couple of days. Well, that is, until another pretty lady comes along," Chris joked.

"Nope, I only have eyes for Inez. I think she's warming up to me. Well, in her own way. It might be a while, now that I think of it. But it was still worth it," Buck mused. His backside was throbbing and his cuts stung, but the town and his friends were safe.

"Yes, it was," Chris said patting him on the back.
