Chapter 302: Arc 18: A New Member! Knight of the Sea Jinbe!

"You're finally here!" Luffy jumped off the Thousand Sunny as it steered close to Jinbe.

"Everyone." Jinbe leapt onto the Thousand Sunny. "I'm a crew member of the Sunny from today."

"I was worried about you." Nami hugged the Fishman.

"Sasha-sama, I apologize for my late arrival." Jinbe went on one knee before Sasha. "I had to take care of some injured members of the Sun Pirates."

"But it's really nice to see you again." Nami beamed.

"I thought I'd never be able to see you again." Carrot agreed.

"Jinbe, raise your head." Sasha gestured. "From now on, I look to your continued support."

"I understand." Jinbe stood up.

"Jinbe's steering skills are really amazing." Nami bragged, Jinbe was now at the Thousand Sunny's wheel.

"He surfed a wave with the Sunny." Chopper supplied.

"Someone who can tap into the dream ship's potential has finally appeared." Franky declared. "Let's make a toast."

"At a time like this?" Sasha echoed incredulously.

"All right." Luffy counteracted his sister's comment. "To celebrate Jinbe's coming aboard, let's make a toast."

"Wait, we don't have any booze on this ship now." Sanji recalled.

"No," Zoro corrected. "I smell booze. That way." he nodded towards Onigashima.

On the Polar Tang...

"Luffy-dono!" Kin'emon hollered. "I want to discuss what we will do after we reach Onigashima. Come here immediately, Luffy-dono."

On the Thousand Sunny...

"I can smell food, too." Luffy drooled.

On the Polar Tang...

"Stop it, Kin." Law sighed. "There's no point in giving them a plan. Besides, this is my ship. If you're having a strategy meeting, take it to someone else's ship.

"I need to be briefed on your strategy." Shishilian landed on the submarine. "Duke Dogstorm-sama will fight as Kozuki Oden-sama's retainer in this battle. So I'll lead the Minks."

"Allow me to take charge of all the samurai from the Land of Wano." Hyogoro offered.

"Boss Hyogoro." Kin'emon addressed the underground boss. "I am sorry for being a stranger for as long as 20 years. I am glad to see you looking well."

"Kin'emon, all of you Akazaya members." Hyogoro replied. "I'm glad you returned to the Land of Wano after jumping 20 years. On top of that, you brought the straw hat man who is extremely strong."

"We did it all to take down Kaido and Orochi, and open the borders of the Land of Wano." Kin'emon added.

"Now, should we quickly discuss what we'll do after we reach Onigashima?" Hyogoro prompted.

"I am going to explain the Onigashima raid plan." Kin'emon started. "As shown on this map, Onigashima is an island that has mountains along its perimeter. Even if you try to approach by boat, the sheer cliffs will bar your way, so it's impossible. There is only one way to enter the island. That is by passing through the front gate. The skull of the island is embedded in a mountain, and what's more, there is a castle inside. But by obtaining the blueprints of the mansion, we found out that there is a back entrance on the other side of the island. So, we are going to avoid the front gate which will be heavily guarded, separate into two groups, take the mountain paths on the left and right, and sneak into the castle from the back entrance. We will make a surprise attack on Kaido, who will be drunk after the banquet and finish it up quickly."

"How impressive." Denjiro smiled. "That's Kin-san for you. What is your real plan? I know that poorly thought-out plan is what you came up with to deceive Kanjuro. What is your real plan?"

"My real plan is..." Kin'emon stammered.

"First," Law cut in. "If the enemies notice our raid, they'll be most focused on the Akazaya samurai. In addition, I, Straw Hat and Eustass, we three Captains. No matter what kind of plan you make, we know there are two idiots who'll try to charge in through the front door. Those idiots will be good decoys for us and they are stronger than ordinary decoys. In order to stop those idiots, tons of Kaido's underlings will be sent to the front."

"I see." Raizo realized where Law was going. "Most of Kaido's underlings will go to the front, and the mountain paths on both sides will be lightly guarded."

"So, as planned, we'll all proceed along the mountain paths on both sides." Law altered the plan. "But, those who proceed along the paths will be decoys, too."

"Of course, we're prepared to sacrifice ourselves for a fight to send Kin'emon and the others off to a decisive battle." Hyogoro noted.

"Then, how will the Akazaya members proceed?" Shishilian inquired.

"On water is the only option." Law answered.

"But the whirling waves will block our approach." Kiku reminded.

"No problem, it's gonna be fine." Law assured. "By going underwater in this Polar Tang, and circling the island, we can avoid the whirling waves along the way. Also, my ability will allow me to send you all into the island." he formed a 'Room' bubble in his hand.

"But Law-dono, I still have to lead the others." Kin'emon noted.

"Then, I'll take the mountain path, too, so that we can lead the groups on each side." Denjiro offered.

"We'll save our energy and fight Kaido with all our might." Ashura added.

On the Thousand Sunny...

"Let's see..." Usopp started as the Thousand Sunny neared the torii gates. "Under the torii gate... whoa." he gawked, peering through his binoculars and spotted the giant cannons. "That's a fortress."

"Looks like the Beast Pirates have quite nice booze." Zoro smirked.

"Luffy, do you really want to charge?" Usopp looked worriedly at the rubber-man.

"Even so, I'll destroy whatever's in our way." Luffy declared. "I'll have both booze and Kaido's head."

At the entrance of Onigashima...

"That's an enemy ship." one of the guards spotted the Thousand Sunny emerging from the mist.

On the Thousand Sunny...

"It's going to get bumpy." Jinbe cautioned. "Hold on." he steered the Thousand Sunny away from the bombarding cannons. "Let's use the anchor to force our way ashore there."

On cue, Franky tossed a lion-paw anchor onto the wall of the torii gate.

"Let's do it in one go." using the anchor as a foci point, Jinbe steered the ship in a wide curve. "Captain Luffy, destroy their gun battery first." he suggested.

"Leave it to me." Luffy grinned and he, Zoro and Sanji leapt into action.

At the entrance of Onigashima...

"Gomu Gomu no Gatling!" Luffy smashed his way in with a rain of rapid punches. His Armament Haki blocked out the downward slash from a giant samurai guard. "Gomu Gomu no Pistol!" he knocked out the guard with a punch to the face.

"Two Sword Style: Hawk Wave!" Zoro's bird-shaped energy blast took out another row of guards.

"I'm surrounded." Brook chuckled. "Soul Solid," he pulled out his cane sword. "Swallow Banderole!" leaping into the air, he let loose his chilling wave and locked his opponents in ice.

"Mil Fleurs: Gigantesco Mano!" Robin took the stage, growing out a pair of giant legs. "Stomp!" she let the legs stomp on the guards.

"Ex-quip: Dragonite Armor!" Sasha had also entered the fray. "Blumenblatt!" her sword array taking out the guards Robin's attack missed.

"Flanchet." Sanji casually kicked a guard that was about to charge him.

"Franky Boxing." Franky literally pummeled his opponent with his rapid punches.

"Gomu Gomu no Jet Pistol!" Luffy leveled his fast jab at another opponent.
