Chapter 303: Arc 18: Kaido's Trump Card - The Tobi Roppo Appear
"This torii gate." Denjiro pointed to the entrance of Onigashima. "This is the first obstacle in our path to raid Onigashima."
"An obstacle?" Dogstorm echoed. "Are there guards?"
"Not only guards." Denjiro corrected. "Tons of cannons and other weapons are set up there. It's like a small fortress. And it's the Fire Festival today. I suspect a number of soldiers are holding a banquet."
"Then, what if they've been notified of the raid?" Kawamatsu asked.
"If we go any further, we'll be easy prey for them." Ashura stated.
"That's not good." Raizo exclaimed.
"In any case," Kin'emon cut in. "We must let everyone know about this quickly. Fortunately for us, it seems like the guards at the gates have not noticed us yet."
"Wasn't there a ship heading that way earlier?" Kiku pointed out.
"The Straw Hats' ship is missing." Law reported.
"Is Luffy-dono there?" Kin'emon exclaimed, hearing an explosion at the torii gates.
"Law-dono, head the ship that way." Raizo requested. "We must save them now."
"I can get there sooner if I swim." Kawamatsu interjected.
"Kawamatsu, it's dangerous to go alone." Kiku pulled the Fishman back.
"You're in my way!" Law snapped.
At the entrance of Onigashima...
"Gomu Gomu no..." Luffy was high up in the air.
On the Polar Tang...
"That's..." Kin'emon gaped.
"Those fools..." Law growled. "They always do whatever suits them."
At the entrance of Onigashima...
"Red Hawk!" Luffy coated his extended arm with Armament Haki after Zoro and Sanji cleared the way for him and sent the powered-up punch down onto the guards at the gates.
On the Polar Tang...
"The guards at the torii gate have been wiped out." Denjiro was stunned.
At the entrance of Onigashima...
"Let's have a toast." Luffy cheered.
"Good to know aniki still has his priorities straight." Sasha joked.
"But there's no booze to be found." Sanji complained.
"I'll look for some." Zoro replied. "You don't have a good nose even though you're a cook."
"I wasn't aware moss balls had noses." Sanji retorted.
"Can the two of you cut it out!?" Sasha barked, before another argument between the swordsman and cook erupted.
On the Polar Tang...
"I can't believe hundreds of soldiers were overwhelmed by just a few of them." Denjiro was shocked by the crew's firepower.
"They're extremely strong." Kawamatsu gawked. "But other times, they can be so carefree. They're hard to understand."
"It's so reassuring to have them." Denjiro chuckled. "Bonding with those incredible people, that's Kin-san."
In Onigashima...
"Kaido-sama, all six members of the Tobi Roppo are here." one of the attending Gifters reported. "So please grant them an audience."
"I don't remember calling them." Kaido mused. "But all right; let's introduce them to Linlin. Where did she go?"
"Big Mom is changing into her kimono now." the Gifter answered.
"Kaido-sama, the Tobi Roppo has arrived." another Gifter reported in.
"Let them in." Kaido ordered.
At the entrance of Onigashima...
"Kin'emon, we found the enemies." Luffy shouted.
"Everybody's catching up to us?" Sanji wondered. "Mosshead," he spotted Zoro carrying a pot of sake. "Where did you get there?"
"You found booze, Zoro." Usopp blinked.
"I told you I can tell where it is by the smell." Zoro smirked.
"That's his instinct." Usopp gawked.
"All he thinks about is booze and swords." Sanji snorted.
"It's all ready." Chopper called out.
"Jinbe, here you go." Sasha poured out a cup.
"Let's make a toast to the super helmsman that we've always wanted." Franky cheered.
"I've never exchanged sake in such a pleasant mood." Jinbe laughed.
"Jinbe," Luffy started. "We've been waiting for you."
"I couldn't wait to travel across the sea with you all, too." Jinbe grinned.
On the Polar Tang...
"Thank you, Luffy-dono." Kin'emon shouted. "You quickly got past the first barrier. I appreciate it."
At the entrance of Onigashima...
"Everyone's full of spirit." Nami gawked as the ships shot past the torii gates.
"Conquering this fortress must've boosted everyone's morale." Robin noted.
"They'll get to Onigashima at breakneck speed." Franky agreed.
"Captain, orders?" Sasha inquired.
On the Polar Tang...
"We won't waste this opportunity that Luffytaro and the others gave us." Kiku stood firm.
"We won't let our enemies prepare." Dogstorm agreed.
"The Straw Hats are so dependable." Denjiro was impressed.
"Since I first met him, he kept changing despair into hope." Hyogoro added.
"Kozuki's samurai!" Kin'emon hollered. "You loyal warriors, follow us! All ships to Onigashima! Charge!" he gave the attack order.
At the entrance of Onigashima...
"Let's stop." Luffy slammed down his cup. "Let's do it with them: a toast and banquet, after taking down Kaido and bringing down Orochi and Big Mom. After we win this battle, we'll have the biggest banquet ever."
"I knew it'll come down to this." Sasha giggled.
"Let's go, guys!" Luffy ordered, bringing up the rear. "Follow the samurai."
