The Compound

Klaus stalked into the Compound and shouted, "Rebekah! Marcellus!"
Josh and Davina looked at each other in fear as they had never heard Klaus sound this desperate.
"Ah, we still have had no word," Josh said in an uncertain voice. He didn't know if he should call him Klaus or Mr. Mikaelson. The Hybrid's eyes were glowing and he was radiating fury.
"Nothing? They shall pay for this slight. Oh Davina, darling, how are you holding up?" Klaus softened as he saw the fear on the witch's face. "I'm so sorry."
Davina didn't know if he was sorry for scaring them or sorry that this happened, but she let him embrace her. Klaus explained that Elijah and Kol stayed back to guard the family in Mystic Falls. Freya was gathering ingredients for locator spells and would be there shortly. Then, she asked what they were going to do.
"I've contacted the new Regent of New Orleans. He is a reluctant leader...one who tried to leave his coven, Vincent Griffith," Klaus explained.
"Mr. Mikaelson, I did leave my coven actually. It ain't easy to leave the Tremé, we a hard breed, but it looks like that might be what's needed to deal with these Geminis. Sacrifice magic is a worse abomination to us, then siphons. We should be able to help each other," Vincent clarified.
"Very well. I shall be grateful to you and the other eight covens for your assistance. The French Quarter witches already murdered my...grand daughter here," Klaus concurred.
With that, Vincent looked at Davina, "The Harvest witch, Davina Claire. I'm sorry for that, young lady. The French Quarter witches have been out of control for some time now. I hope to restore the integrity of the Nine. Marcel Gerald was once my enemy, but I am willing to ally with you'll for the greater good."
"Actually, Mr. Griffith, my name is Davina Gerald Mikaelson now. I think I'm even going to drop the Claire as it was my own mother who was going to let me be sacrificed for the Harvest. All we want now is my mom and dad back. Also, the Gemini twins seem to be missing, too. They didn't ask to be born siphons," Davina interjected.
"No, they didn't. Let's sit down and come up with a plan," Vincent said.
Mikaelson Compound
It was late into the night, that Vincent, Freya, Josh, and Klaus talked. Davina was asleep on a nearby couch. She had refused to go to bed and no one had the heart to force her to go upstairs by herself.
Earlier, Lily had contacted the Compound through a note that floated down in the air.
"Meet us in Lafayette Cemetery at dusk on Wednesday. We will return Marcellus Gerald and Rebekah Mikaelson, but only if you do not interfere in any further plans. The siphons must be returned to the Gemini as in the way of nature. Any deviation of this plan will be considered an act of war. Signed, The Heretics, Gemini Coven, and French Quarter Coven," Klaus spat.
Freya stood up quickly, "So it is war."
Vincent liked the tall blond, "It is war."

Lafayette Cemetery
Dusk
The day passed quickly in preparation. The group came armed heavily to the Garden district. Lafayette Cemetery was the seat of the witches' power, but the Mikaelson's had helped build New Orleans.
Klaus and Freya walked up to the mausoleum where Klaus heard movement and voices.
"They are in here," Klaus told his eldest sister.
"Niklaus, will this work?" Freya asked fearfully.
"Sister, I promise you, we will get the children back!" Klaus insisted.
Freya nodded, "I believe you." And she did.
Klaus opened the door for his sister and stepped in.
"I've come for my son and my sister," Klaus said to the assembled crowd consisting of Lily, Bastianna, Joshua and Iris Parker, and some other witches that Klaus did not know.
"We have them," Bastianna growled.
"Oh, I know you do, Bastianna. Now, hand them over," Klaus said his eyes flashing. The hard part for him would be to not try to rip off her head.
Bastianna smirked, "Well, there is one more thing, we want the Harvest witch. She was ours from the start. You stole her."
"She is not a piece of property! This was not part of the deal," Freya yelled.
"Ah, the older sister. How sad, you have no coven and no power here. Luckily for us, you aren't anchored here," Bastianna said trying to knock down Freya with a spell.
Freya laughed and blocked her. "Oh, I do have a coven. I'm a Bennett witch now, anchored in Mystic Falls." Freya zapped Bastianna and made her stagger.
"How nice. Now hand over Davina Claire!" Bastianna screamed.
Out of the shadows under the mausoleum, Vincent, Davina, and Josh came out of a door. The Mikaelson had many of these tombs built hundreds of years ago. There were secret passages, escape routes, and false doors in many that had been lost to history. Kol had had a lab here, his "playroom" in the 1920s and knew almost every inch of this place. All Davina had to do was text him the location and he was able to give them the upper hand.
"I go by Davina Gerald Mikaelson now, Bastianna. And by the way, weren't you dead?" Davina said crumpling the elder to the ground.
"Davina, wait until we know where they are!" Freya cautioned.
Bastianna gasped to see Vincent, "You side with vampires! Over your own kind, I never thought I would live to see the day..."
"You may not live to see its end once your crimes are revealed. You know that sacrifice magic is forbidden, Bastianna. Now, where are the Mikaelsons and the Parker children?" Vincent asked sharply.
"Never!" Bastianna said as she slipped a powder from her necklace into her mouth.
"She's committing suicide!" Davina screamed. Lily stepped forth and held her arm. Freya looked at Lily curiously.
Lily looked at the Parkers, "I'm sorry, but I can't let your son die. I love him like he is one of my own."
Freya put her hands on Bastianna's head and entered her consciousness.
"She's too strong. I need help," Freya gasped. Vincent came forward and also helped. Together, they completed a spell to locate Rebekah and Marcel.
Vincent looked up in confusion, "They are in the Bayou?" Vincent did a sleep to paralyze Bastianna, he would bring her up before the witch council in an emergency session.
Lily cut in, "Bastianna made an alliance with some wolves to have Davina make moonlight rings for them. I don't know their names. They aren't Crescents, but wolves who transplanted here from other places looking for an alpha."
Klaus growled, "We can deal with them easily. Now, Mr. and Mrs. Parker, I presume, can we speak about what to do about your children?"
"We never wanted any of this to happen. The siphons are in danger from our own people and if we don't have a merge, we all die. Do you see our position?" Joshua pleaded.
Klaus did, "Yes, I did not at first, but I do now. The Regent here is willing to try to help you."
Freya couldn't help herself, "The prison world? Selling your daughter to the Guerreras? That was the best you could do? They are good kids, they deserved better."
"They did. But they were in mortal danger. We didn't realize how close they were to being killed. My husband's own sister was sacrificed for being a siphon...I-I think that I also had a twin brother who was a siphon. It's all coming back, but our coven has some dark secrets that have given us great power but a dark stain. Thank you for taking them in and trying to protect them," Iris said solemnly.
Vincent said, "Wait, did you say you were a twin, too?"
"Yes, I thought my brother drowned, but now I think he was killed," Iris admitted.
"There might be a way that you could merge with your daughter. The Mikaelsons filled me in on your problem. There might be a spell where we could paused the merge until you are older and then you could merge with your daughter," Vincent suggested.
"That sounds wonderful. I would do anything to...," Iris begun.
"But what if I don't want to wait," Jo Parker said from the doorway.
Everyone turned and looked. "Josette!" Joshua Parker exclaimed.
Iris cried, "What are you doing here?"
"I know what you people are up to. Did you think I was just going to sit back and let you mess up my whole future? I am the to be the leader. And you know what? I'm tired of waiting. And before you New Orleans witches get any ideas, I found your Heretic safe house. I'm afraid I already had to kill the fat Asian vampire and the handsome guy getting in, but the rest are still alive...for now," Jo revealed.
"Oscar? Malcolm? You killed them? Impossible...," Lily deflected.
Jo held up a ring of Malcolms and tossed it to you.
"How could you? And Oscar?" Lily shouted.
"Look, Lady, I just put my younger siblings in prison worlds so don't push me unless you want to go back to 1903!" Jo snarled.
"The children? You hurt the children?" Iris wailed.
"And the coven members guarding them...Now, where is my brother. It is time for the merge and you all are going to help me," Jo demanded.
"Or what, Josette?" Joshua asked.
"Or I have the King of New Orleans and his woman locked in a prison world. Then, I will destroy the ascendent. You know I can do it. I have taken control of the coven, Father. While you were out here playing detective, I shared with everyone how you were protecting siphon witches instead of them. They didn't like that. The whole coven is here with me and they are angry," Jo said.
"Stop this! We'll do it," Joshua said holding hands with his wife. "You said the younger kids are in prison worlds. Dana, Rachael and Kai are all vampires...So there is nothing keeping us from doing this!"
Joshua and his wife began to chant.
Jo began to scream, "What are you doing? No, you're killing us all!"
The others began to understand that the Parkers were destroying the Coven, aside from their younger kids in the prison worlds and their vampire kids. Soon, the Mr. and Mrs. Parker collapsed and died.
All the other Geminis began to die, including the ones guarding the safe house. Lily dispatched Nora, Mary Louise and Beau to see if Malcolm and Oscar were really dead. Valerie had stayed in Mystic Falls, but Oscar had driven down Kai and the vial of Penny's blood. Kai was also at the safe house with the twins.
Vincent went over to Josette Parker, Kai's twin.
"She's gone," Vincent said.
"Yes, she is," Klaus intoned. Vincent glanced back and Jo's body had disappeared.
Freya started. "Did she just...?"
"Yup," Davina said.
Vincent shook his head, "I've got to get Bastianna in front of the council. Are we good here? Let me know when everyone is safe."
Klaus shook his hand, "We are indebted. Thank you."
"Don't thank me until everyone is safe," Vincent reminded him.
"Indeed," Klaus said.
On Route to Lily's Safe House
Freya left with Lily and Davina to go get Kai and the twins. As they neared the safe house, they began to speak in the car about the impending visit.
"How are we going to tell them that their parents and their whole coven is dead?" Davina asked.
"I think they knew that, but that their little siblings are now in prison worlds...That might be something we wait to tell them," Freya added.
Davina asked Lily, "Why did you help? Weren't the Geminis going to help you get your boyfriend back?"
"Yes, but when I saw the cost, I decided that Julian wouldn't want me to sell my soul to free him. I need to do it the right way. But if it cost Oscar and Malcolm their lives, I'll never forgive myself," Lily lamented.
Freya grabbed her hand, "Well, thank you. I hope you will not be a stranger in Mystic Falls. Without your help, this all could have gone much differently."
"I have made a lot of mistakes in my past. I am a ripper, my own sons hate me, my lover is locked away in another world, but I want to start making things right. I hope this is the first step in the right direction," Lily confessed.
"It is," Freya assured her as they walked in to see the children.
Louisiana Bayou
Evening
Klaus found Marcel and Rebekah still unconscious in a shack. They were knocked out from vervain. Josh went to get Aiden, Ollie, Jackson, and Hayley to help.
"Who is staying here?" Klaus asked as he handed Marcel to Josh.
Jackson looked around, "I have no idea. I don't recognize the scent."
Ollie asked, "Do you want us to stake out the place. Kill these traitors?"
Klaus laughed, "Stand down, young wolf. The witch Bastianna is a sly one. She probably lied and promised them riches and power as well as moonlight rings. Let's give them a chance."
Hayley growled, "I think someone is coming."
Klaus put Rebekah down, "Children, get behind me."
They heard whistling.
"Howdy, you folks lost?" a tall, dark, handsome man quipped.
"No, sir, we are not? May I have your name before I disembowel you?" Klaus thundered.
"Ah, Mason," the man said calmly.
"Well, Mason, are you in the habit of kidnapping and getting in bed with witches?" Klaus questioned.
"No, I am not. Say, do I know you?" the man asked.
"What is your last name?" Klaus pressed.
"Lockwood. Mason Lockwood," the man said stepping forward.
Lily's Safe House
"So our parents are dead?" Kai confirmed.
"Honey, your whole coven...But your twin seemed to disappear somehow. She put your younger siblings in prison worlds, according to her," Freya fumbled.
Rachael yelled, "Prison worlds. Oh my god. This is so fucked up!"
"Hey, I know this is upsetting and a lot to take. Come here," Freya said hugging Rachael again. Davina sat on the bed by Dana rubbing her arm.
Lily sat by Kai, "It's good to see you again. I know we didn't part on the best of terms and I'm sorry about that."
"Yeah, well, things got pretty messed up. It's okay," Kai said with a smile.
"No, I wish things would have been different in our prison world. I was too harsh with you. I acted like it was the 1850s again. You're a good boy and you deserved better. You know, your parents loved you a lot. Everything they did was to protect all of you," Lily announced.
"Selling us, locking us away?" Dana scoffed.
Dana said softly, "They found a plot in your coven to kill you, to sacrifice you. It was the only way to keep you safe."
"Really? I thought they just wanted Jo to be the leader, but I guess that makes sense. So now Jo is on the loose?" Rachael wondered.
"We really don't know," Freya said.
"What happened with Oscar and Malcolm? Can you tell me?" Lily said softly. She was still in shock that they were gone.
"They died protecting us," Kai said. "Jo never got in this room. They shielded it and she did a spell making them siphon themselves dry."
"I'm sorry. I didn't know Malcolm, but Oscar, though he kidnapped me, was still a pretty good guy," Kai said. Freya got up and patted his arm.
"I'm still groggy. Can we go home?" Dana said.
"Before you go, Freya, I think you need to see what I found in the girls' purses," Lily admonished.
Rachael and Dana looked at each other in alarm.
"Drugs? Lighters? Cigarettes? I know this is a hard time, but we will deal with this later. Lily, thank you. Kids, let's get back to the Compound," Freya said firmly.
"We can explain!" Dana reasoned on the way out.
"Save it," Freya said guiding them out the door.
