Pietro

"You got some nerve!"

The hologram of Secretary Ross didn't look pleased to see them, but that didn't bother Pietro. Pietro stood beside Wanda, who was supporting a hurt Vision, and Sam was supporting Vision's other side. "I'll give you that." Secretary Ross walked up towards them with a look of distrust, clearly the man was still upset about what happened during the accords. Pietro just rolled his eyes and Wanda nudged him, but when Pietro looked down at his twin sister, she was smirking at him-silently agreeing with whatever Pietro was thinking.

Pietro returned the smirk as Natasha commented blankly, "You could use some of that right now."

Who else was going to defend the planet when Tony was missing?

"The world is on fire," Ross steps in front of Steve, "And you think, all is forgiven?" The older man looks like he wants to laugh in their faces.

Pietro wanted to punch Ross in the face.

Steve doesn't hesitate to answer, and he responds to Ross with indifference, "I'm not looking for forgiveness. And I'm way past asking for permission. Earth just lost her best defender. So we're here to fight," Steve takes a step forward, looking right at Ross, "And if you wanna stand in our way," Steve gave a cruel smirk that made Pietro grin, "We'll fight you, too."

A heartbeat passes of silence, before Ross turns to Rhodey, "Arrest them."

Rhodey nods, "All over it," And proceeds to turn off the hologram in response, "That's a court-martial," Rhodey muses to them, arms crossed over his chest as he studies the group, and another beat passes, "It's great to see you, Cap." Rhodey finally gives a relieved smile and moves to embrace Steve.

Steve grins and hugs Rhodey. The tension leaves the room, and Pietro feels the tension leave his body, "You too, Rhodey," Steve pats Rhodey's back good-heartedly. Natasha moves forward to greet Rhodey, and they embrace, too.

"Well," Rhodey sighs with a tired smile, "You guys, uh, really look like crap," Rhodey gives a little laugh, studying all of them, "Must've been a rough couple of years." Rhodey's expression softens slightly.

"Yeah, well," Sam grins cheekily, "The hotels weren't exactly five stars."

Pietro laughs at that. He always liked Sam, he was always a cheeky thing.

"I don't know," A feminine voice muses from out of nowhere; Pietro's heart drops, and his head whips around so fast towards the sound of that voice, "I quite like the rugged look of them."

Pietro felt his heart stop-actually stop-at the sight of his princezná standing there beside Bruce. He felt his brain struggle to comprehend that she was real, that she was actually standing there looking so fucking beautiful and radiant, it was such a contrast to how he last remembered her.

"What do you think, Bruce?" Spencer's beautiful pouty lips curled into a beaming smile, her gorgeous blue eyes seemed to glow with love as she looked at them, he could see the glitter of tears in her eyes, too.

Everyone was frozen-unable to believe that Spencer and Bruce were right there in front of them. "Spencer," Steve breathed, shattering the silence.

Pietro was there, before he could even tell his feet to move, he was already in front of her, and he didn't care about the tears stinging in his eyes. His hands were holding her beautiful face, feeling her warm skin against his own, and his heart felt like it was going to break. She was here, and she was real, He told himself in awe.

She looked the same, but different-stronger, healthier, and there was a strange golden glow about her that Pietro couldn't pinpoint, but he recognized how powerful she seemed. Even holding her face, he could feel electrical currents humming against his skin. It was so mind-boggling to him, even her usually short hair was now brushing down her back in gentle waves, it looked so shiny and healthy! Everyone about his princezná was healthy, and even her blue eyes were different!

"Princezná," Pietro murmured in a daze-he even felt light-headed!

"Hi, speedster," Spencer's voice is cracking with thick emotion, staring up at him, taking in his face greedily-god, Pietro felt like he couldn't even breath! "We're back," She says with a breathless chuckle, her hands going to pet his arms. Pietro hugged her, couldn't help but hug her so tightly, aware that the group behind him were moving closer.

Spencer laughs and buries her face into his shoulder, he feels her hot tears hitting his shirt and burning against his skin. Pietro was just shocked, but so fucking happy. "I feel as if this is a dream," Pietro thickly tells her, "That any minute, I wake up from this cruel dream and find you gone."

Pietro's body shudders as Spencer laughs again and pulls away from him, "Trust me, this isn't a dream," She gives him a cheeky grin, and Pietro is tempted to sweep Spencer off into his old room, and never let her leave.

"Excuse me, but you're hogging our girl!" Sam's cranky, but cheeky voice cuts through.

Spencer peers around Pietro with an amazing smile, "Still got that sass, Sam Wilson!" She looks up at him fondly, "Gotta share," She coos at him, and Pietro realized that he was pouting right now. Spencer leans in and gives him a gentle kiss-a promise for later.

A promise that Pietro was going to make sure she kept.

His blood was already heated with just one kiss!

Spencer pulls away from him and is bombarded with hugs and excited chatter. Steve looks just as dazed as Pietro, but Steve's face falls apart as Spencer goes to him first and hugs him tightly. Pietro gives a small smile, because Steve had taken Spencer's absence the hardest, a lot harder than Pietro.

Because Pietro had Wanda, his twin.

But what Wanda was to him, Spencer was to Steve. Those two were bonded so tightly after the years they spent together, it wasn't a surprise when Steve struggled so hard without her, and it wasn't a surprise when Steve broke down because his support system was gone. Despite Spencer being gone, Pietro did manage a close relationship with Steve. It wasn't uncommon for Steve and Pietro to talk about her often, it helped to talk about her.

It eased some pain, knowing that there was someone else who missed her so much that it hurt. Pietro watched quietly as Spencer made her rounds, Bruce teasing her as he made his rounds through the group. Sam was hollering happily as Spencer and him embraced, and teasing, too. "Maybe Steve won't be as grumpy now!"

Steve scowled at his friend, but the laugh that came out of Spencer's mouth melted that scowl in an instant. Wanda embraced Spencer tightly, "I love your hair," Wanda murmurs to her and manages a fond smile, "I'm so glad you've come back to us," And even though, Pietro knows how much stress is on his sister right now, some of it seems to have vanished because of Spencer's presence.

Because Wanda must've felt it, everyone must've felt it.

Spencer felt...powerful.

In a way that should've made them buckle their knees from the sheer pressure of it, but instead, it felt like a secured, warm blanket shrouding their shoulders. Spencer's happy expression wavers for a moment, and her shoulders sag a bit-as if Wanda's words have reminded her of something.

Spencer looks over at Bruce with an expression that stabs at Pietro's heart. "What?" Steve is on alert, already seeing the look on Spencer's pretty face.

"It's the reason we're here," Bruce answers from beside Natasha.

Natasha is hauling Spencer into her arms, protective and assertive, "How did you get here, baby spider?" Natasha's words were quiet and soft, but behind those gentle words was an ominous feeling.

Spencer's face crumbles into one of sorrow, "It hasn't exactly been rainbows and daisies for us, either," Spencer whispers.

"Bruce?" Steve looks at him intently, waiting for an answer.

Bruce rubs the back of his neck, "A lot has happened, but Asgard is gone," Bruce announced, "It was destroyed."

Pietro frowned, not understanding the severity of that situation. Steve tensed up, "What do you mean, Asgard was destroyed?"

"Loki was never dead," Spencer's voice grabbed everyone's attention. Spencer was still being embraced by Natasha, but gently moved out of the older woman's embrace and towards the center of the room, "I know Thor told all of us that Loki died by the blade from a dark elf, but that wasn't the case. Loki faked his death, betrayed Odin, and took over the throne disguised as his father,"

"Why is that important?" Steve frowned at her.

Spencer leveled Steve with a sad look, "Because Loki saved my life, not Odin."

And the pieces of that situation were put into place almost instantly in Pietro's mind, "But why? Loki killed your father and tried to do the same to you, Spencer." Steve's tone was icy, and Pietro frowned at the man.

"Loki wasn't sure," Spencer shrugged lightly with a sad, but thoughtful expression, "He just said he felt the need to save me, and he did. He somehow managed to get rid of the Space Stone's energy from within my body without killing me, and when it was made aware that my abilities had changed, Loki offered the best resources available to help me train my body back up to handle these new abilities," Spencer explained with a distant expression on her face, "Anyway, eventually, my suspicions that Odin wasn't really Odin were confirmed, and a few months after, Thor came back to Asgard and ratted Loki out. Thor demanded that Loki take him to retrieve Odin, and Loki took us back here," Spencer gestured around, "Apparently, Loki left Odin in a retirement home." Spencer rolled her eyes with a small smile on her face.

But that smile slipped away as Spencer continued, and everyone listened with rapt attention, "We ran into Doctor Stephen Strange, he and his people guard the Time Stone, and through him, we were able to locate Odin, but by the time we got to him-Odin was dying," Spencer sighed tiredly, "Odin spent his last moments here on Earth beside his two sons, but Odin's death brought forward a monster. Odin had a first-born named Hela," Her face darkened considerably, "Goddess of Death."

"She was bat-shit crazy!" Bruce blurted out, with wide eyes, "Seriously, you thought Loki was bad? Hela was twenty times worse and made Loki look tame!"

Spencer nodded, "Odin's powers were the only thing that had been keeping Hela imprisoned, and once he died, she came ready to take Asgard. Loki made the stupid decision to open the Bifrost, but Hela followed. In an attempt to throw her out of the rainbow bridge, Loki threw a blade at her, but she reflected it. It would've hit me," Spencer met Steve's eyes, "It would've hit me, but Loki jerked us around so that it would hit him," Steve's harsh expression softens slightly.

"We were thrown out of the rainbow bridge, and we stumbled onto Sakaar which was conveniently where Hulk was." Spencer gestured to Bruce, "Loki and I managed to stay on Sakaar for two weeks before Thor showed up. Time passes differently on Sakaar, so, according to Thor, Loki and I were thrown out of the rainbow bridge a few seconds before Hela threw him out of the rainbow bridge. Anyway," Spencer waved her hand dismissively, "Thor was pitted against the Hulk, and Thor would've had won, but the guy who ran Sakaar cheated, and the Hulk won."

"Are you sure Thor would've won?" Bruce asks with a frown.

Spencer rolled her eyes, "Yes, Bruce, I'm a hundred percent sure that Thor was about to kick Hulk's green ass if the Grandmaster hadn't intervened."

"Wait," Wanda spoke up with a frown, "How did you get to Sakaar, Bruce?"

Bruce groaned, "I was Hulk for two years," Bruce explained-eyes flickering towards Natasha for a second, "Hulk didn't know how to fly the Quinjet and managed to get into space somehow, I'm not sure how or when, but eventually I ended up on Sakaar. Boy, did they love the Hulk though, I'm pretty sure that's why he refused to let me surface because he didn't want to leave Sakaar." Bruce explained with a defeated sigh.

"Okay, so, how was Asgard destroyed?" Sam asked warily.

"Well, we managed to escape Sakaar by stealing the Grandmaster's orgy ship," Spencer said sheepishly.

"Ew, what the-" Sam hollered in disgust.

Vision just looked appalled, Pietro was smirking at the look on Spencer's cute face, and Steve looked like he was going to faint, "I never," Rhodey spoke up with a mortified expression, "Want to hear that kind of talk from you, Spencer," Rhodey shivered.

Spencer laughed with a wide grin and nudged Bruce, "Tell them."

Bruce glared back at Spencer mildly, "N-No!"

Spencer glared back, "Do it!"

Bruce groaned and muttered, "We traveled through a wormhole that was called the Devil's anus."

Silence.

And then Spencer started hysterically laughing, because it was Spencer. Pietro smiled brightly at his wonderful woman, happy to see her happy and hear her laughter once again. After two years, Pietro had a lot of time to make up for that lost time. "I," Natasha shook her head with a small smirk, "I have no words right now."

"I feel violated," Sam chimed in.

"So, we go through the Devil's Anus, travel to Asgard, and we managed to rescue a large majority of the survivors, but Hela wasn't going to just let us leave, I mean, even if we did, she definitely would have hunted us across all the galaxies," Spencer sighed with a frown, "Fighting someone called the Goddess of Death was terrifying, guys, like this chick took down Asgard's most elite guard without even trying. It was just me, Thor, Loki, and one of the last elite warriors named the Valkyrie," Spencer's voice quieted, and it made Pietro shudder.

For Spencer to admit her own fear in the midst of a battle, it was so startling and added to the severity of what Spencer had to fight against, "We did our best, and to be honest, I was pretty sure Thor and Valkyrie were trying to take the brunt of the fighting. Regardless of my new abilities, I was still human," Spencer rubbed the back of her head and her eyes were sad, "In order to defeat Hela, we had to unleash this monster whose sole purpose was to destroy Asgard. Hela drew her power from the city, so, it made sense to release the one being able to destroy the golden city,"

Spencer exhaled and crossed her arms around herself, "So, saved the survivors in a large ship that Loki managed to smuggle through the Devil's Anus, and we watched Asgard get blown to pieces," A strange, but sad look washed over Spencer's face, "To be honest," Her voice was soft now, "Watching Asgard get blown into space rocks was terrifying, and I struggled mentally when realize how easily that could have happened here," Her crystal blue eyes met everyone's gaze.

And to everyone's horror, tears began forming in her eyes, "And then Thanos came."

Bruce shifted uncomfortably, and placed a hand on her arm.

Her voice wavered, "We had been traveling through space for a few months to get to Earth. Thor thought it would be the best chance for his people since Odin died here, but Thanos and his huge army came out of nowhere, and even though we tried telling him that the ship mainly consisted of families, he still slaughtered them."

Pietro's stomach twisted in dread as Spencer had a look of complete agony on her face, "I watched him slaughter my friends," She whispered with tears running down her face, "Children," She adds shakily, "And only after did he let the other half leave, I was included in that half, until he saw me-" Her face twisted angrily, "And decided that I was going to stay."

"Thanos beat Thor," Spencer gritted her teeth in anger, "Thor couldn't, couldn't even stand against that monster, and Loki and I had to watch, and I couldn't do anything to help because they would've killed all of us without a second thought."

That made Pietro feel sick to his stomach, knowing that Spencer could've been so easily killed and taken away from him. To see the absolute terror and grief on her face made him so angry, and so terrified at the same time. It made him feel guilty that the love of his life was out there, still suffering and facing new horrors-horrors he couldn't even begin to fathom.

How is she even still standing? Pietro wondered to himself in slight awe, how is she even still able to smile and laugh as if she didn't witness a whole planet being destroyed, as if she didn't witness mass genocide?

"In a last ditch effort," Spencer murmured tentatively, "Loki tried to save us, Hulk tried to fight Thanos, but the Big guy didn't last long either," Spencer glanced at Bruce with a scared expression, "As if everything else I had witnessed wasn't scary enough, watching Thanos easily kick Hulk's ass without even breaking a sweat was just a testament of how powerful this monster was," Spencer sighed sadly, "Once Hulk was defeated, Thor threw me on top of Hulk, distracted Thanos, and Heimdall managed to summon the Bifrost to rescue us," Spencer looked so horribly stricken by this, it was hard not to feel bad, hard not to wrap his arms around her and never let her go.

"And here we are," Spencer gave a bitter smile, "Back home, back to all of you," She gestured to everyone listening with a sense of grief and guilt, "Only to have Thanos rip Tony out of my hands," Spencer's eyes darkened, and her lip curled into a snarl, "I was too scared to try to fight Thanos," This Spencer was familiar-this was the Spencer everyone remembered, but somehow, she seemed deadlier as the sound of crackling electricity snapped in the air, "But this time, when I see that purple nut-sack," She looked at Bruce first, and looked at everyone else with a look of hatred no one had ever seen on her face before, "I'm going to destroy him, the same way he destroyed my friends," And she said this is the calmest, steadiest voice, and Pietro was reminded how deadly Spencer Couslon would be when pushed far enough. The weight of her power fell into the air, it made Pietro's stomach curl from the pressure of it.

It should have scared him-Spencer's declaration, but Pietro knew that once Spencer set her mind to it, nothing could stop her. Even before, Spencer had been a force to be reckoned with, but now? With her new abilities? Abilities that Pietro wasn't even sure what they were? There wasn't a doubt in anyone's mind that Spencer could dish out her revenge.

And she'd do it with a smile on her face.

Because no one fucked with Spencer Coulson's loved ones.

"God, I've missed you," Pietro says with a dumb smile on his face, and his heart is full of warmth when Spencer's dangerous, blood-thirsty expression melts off in an instant, only to be replaced with a blush and an almost timid look. It made Pietro's smile even bigger, and he ignored the course of groans throughout the room.

Spencer returned his goofy, love-struck smile with one of her own radiant, beautiful, and silly smiles.

"Get a room," Steve mumbled, looking like a sullen child.

Spencer and Steve locked onto each other-Spencer with a curling, sly smirk and Steve's eyes widening in horror, "I was joking!" Steve hastily snapped at her.

Spencer gave a cat-like grin, "You hear that, baby?" Spencer purred, making the women laugh and the men cringe, "We should get a room." She looked at him with a playful, but lustful look that sent Pietro's blood to sing.

"Look at his face!" Sam was torn between mortification and laughter, "Oh my god," Sam wheezed with a laugh.

"Is this what mortification feels like?" Vision asks, looking uncomfortable.

Hi, hi! This was a quick, little bonus chapter. I wasn't happy with the original chapter I had planned, so, I thought it would be better to do in Pietro's POV. I quite liked it a lot! So, to answer Luna's second question (Her first questioned would've been answered by the end of this chapter, haha.) It actually never ocurred to me that Spencer theoretically shoulde be able to sense the Infinity Stones. When you google "What are the Infinity Stones made out of?" Google says that the Stones were made out of the remnants of six singularities that existed before the Big Bang. So, when you goole, "What is a singulairty made out of?" the answer is unanswerable, because no one is sure, but that isn't to say there isn't any theories.

So, it is safe to say that the Infinity Stones are made out of star/space-y stuff. When I googled "Is Space an element of nature?" The answer I was given was, Yes! Space is the fifth basic element of nature, which surprised me! I'm actually surprised and I do feel a wee bit dumb for not realizing this before! So, I am super glad it was brought to my attention! If Spencer wields the ability to manipulate the basis elements, it would make sense she could also manipulate space, too, but in order to not make Spencer a total god-tier character, I gotta be realistic here. Spencer shouldn't be able to be a master of her abilites so soon after having them. In the Marvel time-line, Civil War and Infinity War are two years apart, well, allegedly. I had my time-line confused because I thought it was only a year of difference between the two movies, but anyway, Spencer had been gone for about a year and a handful of months. Five of those months were spent unconscious in Asgard, and another two or three were spent training and learning her new abilites and when she was made aware that Loki was disguised as Odin. I want to say perhaps another month or two until Thor enters the picture and brings along Ragnarok. Two weeks were spent on Sakaar, and then Asgard being destroyed happened within a day, before our merry group starts their journey back to Earth with the remaining Asgardians.

Here we can safely assume (because the ending of Ragnarok and the beginning of Infinity War doesn't really go into detail how much time had passed during that time) and I am going to assume that our merry group had been traveling back to Earth for a few months now. If Valkyrie stated that from Sakaar to Asgard would've taken 18 months(and Sakaar and Asgard were as far as you could be in the galaxy), it would be a safe bet to say that it would take a few months to reach Earth from Asgard. So, in that time-frame, Spencer hasn't even reached her full potential in her new abilities with just fire, water, earth, and air-let alone even space. As far as Spencer was aware and even mentioned-could her powers work in space? She's doubtful, but now, I know her abilites extend to space now.

Even with this infomation, I don't believe I would make Spencer even realize she can manipulate space within Infinity War or Endgame. I want her to be powerful, and she is, but not the point where you're rolling your eyes because it's predictable that she's god-tier so quickly, you know? My plans for Spencer's journey doesn't end after Endgame, but it isn't going to follow Marvel's time-line. I want a happy ending for our little Spencer, and I want to dive deeper into her relationship with Pietro after all the chaos of Endgame ends. I want to figure out how Spencer will react to Nat being gone, and even build a relationship between her and Morgan. After Endgame, things will go very off canon, but it'll be my way of ending Spencer's journey in a way that makes me happy, because it's taken us how many years to get to this point? Too damn many, tbh, haha!

Sorry for the super long ramble, but I don't know, I wanted to show you guys my thinking and clear up any confusions going forward. So, Luna, long answer short, Yes! Spencer can sense the Infinity Stones, but hasn't realized it yet! I will try to lightly touch on it in the next chapter when the conversation of what to do with Vision comes up. I hope I didn't further confuse anyone with my long ramble, haha, if I did confuse you, I am so sorry XD
