Chapter 314: Arc 18: The Battle Under the Moon - The Berserker, Sulong
Just what I expected from Ace's brother. Yamato grinned. I'm happy to fight alongside him.
"We held out for 20 years and finally made it this far." Hyogoro added. "We have nothing to be afraid of now. Even if it kills you, cling onto Kaido's head."
With Kaido and the Akazaya Nine...
"With Luffy-dono and the others' support, we finally get to face you again." Kin'emon readied himself. "We will not let you get out of here alive."
On the Live Floor...
"Don't push your luck." Big Mom retorted. "You only have several hundred troops."
"She's right, idiots." Queen laughed. "We have 30000 soldiers. What can do you with only several hundred?" as if on cue, one of Queen's Smart Tanishi starting ringing.
"It's an emergency!" a panicked voice sounded. "Thousands of intruders are entering from the back."
"How's that possible?" Queen exclaimed.
With Zoro...
"Alright, if that's what you want..." Zoro cut through the attacking Gifters. "I'll slice you as much as you like."
"Zorojuro-dono, we'll help you." the disguised samurai shred their disguises and attacked the Gifters.
"Whatever." Zoro muttered.
On the Live Floor...
"This is Point B inside the castle." another voice from a Smart Tanishi reported in. "The samurai troops joined up with Roronoa Zoro."
"This is Point C." another panicky voice from a Smart Tanishi reported in. "The samurai who got caught in the Flower Capital and the Udon Prisoners are rampaging, too."
"What's going on?" Queen gaped when the line went dead.
With Kidd and Killer...
"Punk Gibson!" Kidd used his enlarged metal arm to push the attacking Gifters into a wall, as Killer took on the other Gifters.
"Guys, don't fall behind." Cho reminded her men. "Thank you for clearing the way for us so far." she turned to Kidd.
"Don't get me wrong." Kidd reminded the female yakuza. "I'm only here to take Kaido's head."
With Law...
"Room." Law activated his powers. "Amputation." he cut through the Gifter who had tossed a bomb at them. "Shambles." he teleported the bomb back to the Gifters and allowing it to explode.
On the Live Floor...
"What is this all about?" Queen picked up one of the disconnected Smart Tanishi.
"A former Warlord, Law, has arrived as well." another Gifter reported in. "They're all united and gaining strength."
"Queen-sama!" another Smart Tanishi shouted. "At the entrance of the island, Marco the Phoenix and Perospero are fighting together."
"Marco and Perospero teamed up?" Queen echoed. "First Babanuki, then Kyoshiro, and now this? What's going on? You drunk bastards across Onigashima." he broadcasted through the island. "Tonight's banquet has been called off. Pick up your weapons. It's an enemy raid."
"Let's do it." Hyogoro rallied his troops. "Win Wano back."
"I heard that, Straw Hat." Kaido roared. "You're gonna kick my ass? Bring it on. I accept your challenge." he turned into his dragon form and flew into the sky from the hole he crashed into. "I'll show you the world's greatest military power." he took the fight outside, with the Akazaya Nine clinging on his back.
"Kin'emon, I'll catch up yo you later." Luffy called.
Outside...
"I'm totally sobered up." Kaido declared. "If you wanna have a deadly fight, it's better out in the open. Just like that day. But unlike that day, Oden's already dead."
"Something else is from that day." Dogstorm stated.
"We deduced that when you turn into a dragon, you wouldn't be able to fight in the dome." Cat Viper added.
"You don't know how much I've been looking forward to this day." Shishilian added, jumping in with Concelot and Giovanni.
"I want you to learn how angry we are the hard way." Roddy snapped.
"We brought warriors from our kingdom." Cat Viper supplied. "There's a snowy flurry in a clear sky." his tail started crackling with electricity. "You can clearly see the full moon."
"You Minks turn into berserkers called Sulongs by the full moon." Kaido realized.
"Jack." Dogstorm growled, seeing Jack appear with his men.
"I can't believe you did this, you damn samurai." Jack snarled. "It's our fault for letting so many of you in. you'll never come near Kaido again."
"Hold on, you guys." Cat Viper stopped the Akazaya from intervening. "Jack is our sworn enemy who devastated our thousand-year-old kingdom. We told him countless times that samurai weren't there."
"The warrior they said wasn't there is me, Jack." Raizo barked. "They saved my life. I'll pay you back many times over."
"Give it your best shot." Jack retorted. "I have a score to settle with you, too. I want you to pay for it with your lives."
"Bring it on." Cat Viper fired back.
"Master, you and your fellow samurai..." BlackBlack jumped in front of Cat Viper with Roddy.
"Must prepare for Kaido." Roddy added.
"You too, Duke-sama." Shishilian agreed.
"Then, I'll leave them to you." Cat Viper relented.
"In that case, I'll use every bit of my strength to take down Kaido." Dogstorm promised.
The rest of the Mink then turned their heads to the full moon, invoking their Sulong transformations.
"Don't be afraid." Jack barked. "A Sulong's lifespan is short. What? he blinked when BlackBlack and Roddy blocked his trunk effortlessly, enabling Shishilian to pierce his forehead with his sword.
Nangi was also taken down by Concelot and Giovanni.
"Keep up with me, Cat." Dogstorm warned.
"Worry about yourself, Dog." Cat Viper rebuked and the two rulers of Zou started their Sulong transformations.
