It had a few days since the most recent newcomers settled on the idea getting used to their new lives and the gamer-like system. Monday morning came for everyone. Shinji and Asuka awoke in a tangle. The two opted to live together in a capsule house. Misato would probably be teasing them about it, but Asuka did not really care if she even did. They were happy with each other, and that was all that mattered.

Jaune and Pyrrha (along with Ren and Nora) were in a similar boat, with poor Rei having to live with noisy and amorous neighbors. She did not feel comfortable intruding on Shinji and Asuka for getting off given she could seek her own partner. She groaned as she saw a topless Nora smudged against the window of their home.

"I need curtains." Rei groaned.

Nora was certainly enjoying her day off, and Rei took a cold shower before getting dressed to leave the house. Joining Sandy's morning yoga class on the beach, she found that RWBY and Jaune were along the class.

"I'm so glad you could join us. We're just getting into it." Sandy said gesturing to a spare mat Jaune laid out.

Rei joined in.

"You know, Sandy…I do want to know a bit more about you." Jaune said taking the next pose.

"Nothing much to me other than being the grey sheep of my family." Sandy said getting a few people's interest.

"What could you have done? You're so nice." Ruby remarked as Sandy sigh.

"My family, the Castellanos, are a family of high achievers. Mother is a lawyer, and my father is a stockbroker on Wall Street. Despite the fact we get along now, I don't think they let it go that I left college to go help Kaiser with starting his town. Honestly, I'm far happier with a simple life of teaching yoga and fishing to make profit." Sandy said surprising those that did not know.

She did not tell them that she did know how to play the stock market. That secret was kept between her close friends.

"Wait a minute, you're Grecian?" Tybalt asked seeing that was the more pressing matter.

"I mean it is funny your full name is literally Sandy Castle." Fuchisa said with a chuckle before a blip came up with a text. "Seems Robbie is calling a town hall in the afternoon. I'm impressed Pyrrha managed to even help get us a town hall building."

Everyone arrived the community center much later, a recently built place where meetings were supposed to be held. The governor and his deputy had their eye on Robbie. The first sign something was odd was Robbie was wearing a three-piece purple suit.

"Attention, people of Ninten. I want to make a grand announcement. After some discussions and negotiations, business is going to expand for all on this island. XanTech has agreed to export our products and import products in exchange for us to sell!" Robbie said beaming. "I have the XanTech representive here to oversee it with me. Meet Kate McReary."

Kate was a redhead human woman in her mid's 30s being rather softfaced and thin. Dressed in a moss green skirt suit with black heels, she carried the professional air.

"Yes, I am Kate McReary and I'll be overseeing exports from shops here that go out ensuring you are getting paid. I have the checks for the business owners." Kate said giving them out to them. "And one for the governor and deputy."

The amount on that check had the Sables sisters' jaws on the floor, Nook rubbing the check on his face with euphoria, had the twins overjoyed, and Zoey frozen like a statue. Kaiser gave Robbie a look, but the money was good. Another two million bells were nothing to sneeze at. Finn and Fionna were thinking of the new gear and improving their house.

"XanTech wishes to offer you, for a reasonable price, means to upgrade your business if you want is. If you need workers or materials, all you need to put in a request through me. As for what is being imported, we're opening a few shops. 24/7, a convience store for your grocery needs. We're also opening a fast food place, Cluckin' Bell. A XanTech store will also be there for your clothing and electronics needs. Weapons will be sold through the guild. Lastly, a boatyard was assembled not far from the guild for boats to come in to import and export products. A bridge to Mirage Island was built as well. We also have an office building where I can be found to take up questions or anything you need." Kate rapported. "And do note that like Nook's shop, you can sell items at the main XanTech shop. Some items we may pay higher than him if they're requested."

"And my request for the dock we already have to be improved was completed. And we even got a port for seaplanes, yes we have more than one now." Kaiser said confidently.

"I assume you paid for that out of pocket." Ankha said as he nodded. "WHAT?! That means taxes are going to go up."

"No, if we did that by that logic, we have to tax you for the boat we got." Isabelle said assuring the public. "Taxes will not go up."

Spork was rather tempted to go to Cluckin' Bell, but he wanted to stick to his diet. He had lost pounds and he wanted to prove Ankha wrong. The villagers were all excited to hear that they were getting a 300 Bell gift card. The meeting was adjourned with most of the villagers going off to continue their days. Some went kept back, namely the Fallers.

"It's funny that I'm the one telling you, but…I can explain this stuff better than Robbie. I actually had a meet up with the boss of XanTech a day prior. I wanted in on the dealing and I wanted some answers. To make it simple, XanTech is a multi-dimensional corporation. They got major hooks in our and another universe. We're 'Universe B' to them. What does this have to do with you? Some of you got a split counterpart who ended up in 'Universe A' with exceptions. Some from your world ended up here, but don't have a counterpart in A. So far, they've logged Pyrrha as an exception here. Cinder and Ella are an odd exception as they're not from the same Remnant." Kaiser explained before focusing on the former pilots. "As for you three, I'm not sure. XanTech's head is apparently investigating."

"Whoa, that's pretty heavy." Alex remarked.

"So, all of us have a counterpart in 'Universe A' except Pyrrha? What's it like?" Ruby asked.

"Realistic and gritty with underside of crime and vice. I would know…I used to live there before I died there eight years ago and ended up here." Kate said getting surprised looks. "XanTech wanted to hire me when they found out, but I turned them down. I ended up only taking a job with them recently because the offer they gave me now was a bit too good to pass up."

Kate did not want to admit that she had student debt and XanTech offered to pay it off in exchange for taking the job. Getting to live on the island with a free house was a nice perk.

"Well, if that's all. I'm going to order a boat." Sandy said leaving.

Everyone else would take their leaves as RWBY, JPNR, and the pilots looked at their new gift cards.

"I'm going to that XanTech store. It'll be nice to be able to get different clothes and I want a game console." Yang mused.

"Aren't you worried about your other?" Pyrrha asked.

"No, why should I? They're living their life. I rather not think about it when I have it good here." Yang touted.

"And why are you fretting about it?" Nora asked her.

"Just curious, really." Pyrrha remarked as they were walking through the town.

"I could care less if another me pops up in that other universe. I'm perfectly pleased with this one." Asuka said taking Shinji's hand.

"So, any of you going to register up with the guild to fight monsters on that islet?" Jaune asked. "I've already have, and so has Nora."

The Remnant bound fallers did have to register for a weapon license. Pyrrha and Ren were more content not to be monster hunters. Nora, on the other hand, was all for it. The twins even shifted her to focus on dungeon crawls for raw materials to carry back for pay.

"Yeah, let me know when you're going. I want to join up." Ruby said excitedly.

Ruby jumped at the call hunt monsters and Yang saw it as good exercise. Blake and Weiss only really joined if Ruby needed backup. Thus, everyone split off to do their thing.

~With Blake and Nora~

Nora dragged Blake with her to Cluckin' Bell to check out the place only to see a familiar face as cashier. Blake could not believe her eyes. Even if he lacked the mask, she knew his faded brand.

"Adam…" Blake said as Adam sighed.

"Blake, it's…good to see you." Adam said with a sigh.

The manager, Hans who was a gorilla village, cleared his throat gesturing for Adam to greet them properly. Adam hated the uniform…he really did not want to say the 'Cluckin' Bell greeting'.

"Cluck, cluck, how can I serve you?" Adam said looking dead inside.

"I'll have a Cluckin' Bucket with a large Sprunk." Nora said as Adam put in the order.

"And you, m'am?" Adam asked.

"Just a Fowlburger combo." Blake said as Adam rang up the total.

The two paid before taking a seat to wait with Blake wondered why Adam was now rather depressed. However, a thought crossed her mind.

"Adam spent so much time fighting…I don't think he knows what to do now that he has what he was fighting for." Blake thought to himself. "He's looks unsure of himself."

Food came to which Blake had to stop Nora found trying to sneak away her fries.

~With Jaune, Asuka, and Ren~

24/7 really put the two guys at ease as the convience store sold condoms cheaper than Nook. Plus, it was less awkward given Tommy and Timmy's ribbing at them. Asuka was just glad for easier access to snacks and sodas…even if she never heard of Sprunk or E-Cola or Danta. Asuka came up to make her purchases to where the cashier, a big gorilla villager named Peewee, was flexing with a dumbbell. He scanned the items.

"That'll be 150 bells, little dudette." Peewee said as Asuka slipped him the gift card.

He run it through before giving it back saying she was good to go. She left with her purchases before she called up Shinji.

"Shinji, I got some stuff from the convience store." Asuka said relived. "They have actual snacks…at a decent price."

"Sounds good. I'm over at the XanTech shop getting some new clothes. We really need could use some." Shinji said as Asuka was thoughtful for a moment.

"Actually, since I'm working for Robbie. He's sent me a care package of clothing to try. I just haven't looked through all of it. I found lingerie in there and…" Asuka said.

"What color?" Shinji asked.

"SHINJI?!" Asuka said blushing.

"What color?"

"Black." She sputtered.

"Ok, I want to see you in them." Shinji said completely calm.

"But…I'll look like a mes…"

"A hot mess!" Shinji insisted. "Do not tease me on this!"

"Fine, you deviant. I'll be waiting in them at home! If you're not there in ten minutes…hello…" Asuka said before realizing he hung up. "Wann zum teufel hat dieser typ die eier bekommen?"

~[TVT]~

Cinder was happily receiving cash from the cashier at XanTech, a cub villager. Tammy was a friend of Fuchisa's and one of original townsfolk of Smashville in the past. After Smashville's fall, she took off on her own to strike out as a movie director. It didn't work out, but XanTech got her a cushy job. Plus, it was nice to see old friends.

"That's a lot of bugs and fossils. What you even need the money for?" Tammy asked curiously.

"I want to get me and my mother our own house." Cinder said determined. "My mom isn't at 100% yet, and I want to get us our own place."

"Wait, what's wrong with her?" Tammy asked.

"Lung infection. She's recovering, and while our bills got covered by the governor's friends…we don't really have our own place. I…I don't want to keep relying on others. I want to stand on my own two feet and take care of the people around." Cinder said steeling herself.

Tammy studied the kid because asking her to wait. Tammy tossed Cinder a capsule.

"It's a standard issue two-bedroom capsule home. It doesn't have much in furnishings as it's rather basic, but I can say it was in trade and the cash I gave you was a finder's fee." Tammy said as Cinder lit up before leaving in a hurry.

"Good to see you're still caring for the little guy." Tybalt said putting a red Spyde track top on the counter to buy.

"Tybalt, I could tell she got it rough. Didn't need to tell me. Besides, she'll grow up appreciating the kindness of others." Tammy said as he cashed him out. "So, you marry Fuchisa yet?"

Tybalt blushed at the remark before revealing something. Tammy fell over laughing at he pouted.

"You let her ask you to marry you? What happened to tradition?" Tammy teased.

"It came out of the blue. We were spending time watching the sunset and she popped the question. I said yes…out of instinct." Tybalt grumbled. "Not that I want to say no."

"So, grand wedding?" Tammy asked as he shook her head.

"Fuchisa just wanted a simple courthouse wedding. We've been together way too long for a grand wedding. Plus, she wanted to save our bells for a honeymoon." Tybalt said still blushing. "Besides, you should tease Kaiser and Isabelle."

"I knew it!" Tammy chortled.

Outside, Cinder approached Rei.

"Excuse me, Miss Ayanami. Would you be interested in buying a pet? I got bugs and fish you can have." Cinder said sweetly. "I noticed that you're always by yourself."

The idea of a pet was appealing to Rei. She had seen Ruby with her spider and Blake with her koi fish. Cinder showed her the wares. Rei would return home with a fish tank with a surgeonfish and a bug cage with a common bluebottle butterfly. She set them on the table as she rearranged her place for her new furnishings and find a place for her new pets. Roy and Rey, she thought, would make good names for them.

Cinder excitedly came back to the Black house.

"You're back. That's good because I made dinner." Emerald said ruffling Cinder's hair.

"Is mom ok?" Cinder asked.

"Oh, she's a bit drained. She went off to bed early." Emerald said comforting her. "She'll get better."

"I made a lot of money today. I sold off a lot of stuff." Cinder said before revealing a capsule. "I finally got a capsule house for me and mom to live in."

"That's great. But you know I'd take care of you in a heartbeat." Emerald said.

"I know, but I want to be able to take care of myself and my mom." Cinder said concerned.

"You got a big heart, but don't fret too hard. You're still a kid, and you deserve a childhood. Let's have dinner and I'll help you set up that house." Emerald said as Cinder hugged.

"Thank you, Aunt Emerald. Is Uncle Mercury is going to help?" Cinder asked.

"He's watching the kids." Emerald remarked.

As they had dinner, Yang came home to put her newly purchased things away before checking on her own pet. Kassen, a tiger butterfly. She had tried to catch it a day ago, but Cinder caught it before she could…before charging her for it. Yang wanted to wring the kid's neck, but she swallowed her anger to pay her. Cinder was one that was up early out hunting stuff, collecting material, or fishing to sell it off or trade with other villagers. She fed the fluttering figure before setting up her new game console, a EXsorbeo 720.

"Righteous Slaughter 7?" Yang said looking at one of the games she bought. "Aw yeah, my kind of game!"

She was not getting much sleep tonight. Out on the dock, Kaiser and Isabelle were out sitting on it just taking in the setting sun.

"This town is blooming." Isabelle said taking his hand. "Ninten really has grown out of Smashville's ashes."

"And what happened to Smashville won't happen again." Kaiser said leaning on her shoulder. "Y'know, Tybalt and Fuchisa are getting married."

"This mean you're going to put a ring on me and make an honest woman out of me?" Isabelle teased. "We're been living together long enough for a common law marriage."

"I intend to. With all the cash I've been earning, I wanted to get the perfect pair of rings for us. I already put in the order." Kaiser said kissing her cheek. "We'll be Mr. and Mrs. Remnant soon."

"Love you, too, Kaiser." Isabelle said.

(A/N: For fluff. Honestly, it's really fun to write this Universe. After all the crap that RWBY has went through, they can hang up their weapons to live in relative peace. Yes, I've revealed the link between worlds in full. Does this XanTech connect to the one in Maelstrom of Stardew? Maybe. But you're asking me…is this version of Team YUKI reality warpers like the warpers in my other works. Oh definitely, it's just downplayed. Moving on, I've decided on taking the Pokémon approach to RWBY Crossing and Los Santo Stories. Both will have RWBY characters exclusive to their series meaning certain characters will show up in one, but not in the other. Case in point, you won't be seeing Pyrrha, Cinder (at least a version with Ella), or Adam in LSS. Inversely, no Oscar, Spirit, or Trifa for RWBY Crossing. I will take suggestions for who should be exclusive to what. As for the villagers mentioned, all in the game. I do bet you're surprised to see Kate here, but this only means that in LSS, the Revenge Ending is canon. The next LSS is going to be rather interesting.)
