Note: This means the Grimm King and Queen were not revived at the end of Season 3, leaving Team YUKI and the world an air of reprieve. Also, the Vytal Festival was canceled earlier thus The Church of Salem could not make their attack. Adam and Cinder still dead, though.

Ninjas in New York

Ivory was pissed as she missed the beginning of the next episode. All she wanted was a snack and a short session with her vibes. What she caught was Yuki and Karai entering the dating zone.

~Enter the Dating Zone~

Karai was admittedly intimidated by her date in question. Yuki proved he certainly could throw down and had a wide variety in skills. The two were simply scaling the rooftops over the neighborhoods of New York City.

"So, you're the grand ninja leader of your own band of ninjas? That's pretty cool. I had a chance to lead an army a few years back…but they wanted me to marry their heiress to do that." Yuki said.

"Why didn't you?" Karai asked curiously. "Unattractive or unappealing?"

"Neither. She is a knockout. You remind of her…if she was a Goth chick." Yuki remarked. "It helped that I was focused on my goal of revenge, and we were fourteen."

"Revenge?" Karai asked. "Sounds like a story to be…wait, you're talking about the guy who offed your parents. I can relate."

"Go on." Yuki said as they came to a stop on the rooftop to sit for a moment.

"Well, I was taken from my bio dad by the man who killed my mom and raised to kill bio dad. That whole thing got messy…and while the bastard's dead…it came the price of losing my bio dad. Plus, I never got my revenge…my brother got that pleasure." Karai said with a bitter look. "But how did it feel?"

"Pleasing. They say vengeance is empty, but that's a load of shit to me. Yeah, it did not bring my parents, but I knew. It was joy of knowing he could never do what he did to me to any other child. The look of terror in his eyes as I personally saw to end his cling to the mortal coil. Doing it in a crowd made me at least control myself because…I'm ashamed to admit…but I would have pissed on the corpse." Yuki said with a tired look. "Just because he'd pissed me off so much, so I figured I'd piss on him."

Karai and a few others watching were snickering at the rather childish and petty logic to justify the pissing.

"He did kill your parents, you're allowed pettiness. Though, this night is not going to be real exciting. Most of the criminal factions were crippled or wiped out. I…" Karai said only to hear a scream.

The two looked down to see several thugs surrounding a mother and son.

"Purple Dragons…I guess they just don't learn." Karai said as Yuki sprang into action.

He leapt down right in front of mother with her back facing him as he glared into the gang member's eyes.

"Walk away." Yuki said flatly.

"Or what?" One said with a sneer. "You asking for a fight!"

"Fine then, fight me, if you're ready to die." Yuki said icily.

The one in front got his throat palm striked into the lamp post before looking to the other thugs. He asked the other thugs if they were ready to fight. He took advantage of the uneasiness they had to put bullets in each of them with his pistols. He did not kill them, but make sure to put them in a state where they needed a doctor…badly.

"Call them an ambulance…" Yuki said to the frozen mother before leaving with the contents of the thug's wallets.

"Efficient. Color me impressed, even if I think less of firearms." Karai said as Yuki rejoined her. "Much prefer your swordwork."

"I love my blade, but I do not dissuade anything that can be used as a weapon. Are ninja pragmatist by nature?" Yuki teased as they took off. "I figured you'd have your mitts on a variety of weapons."

"I do. I just don't really do firearms." Karai said. "My mutation makes me a bit bulletproof so no need."

"So, you say." Yuki said. "How about we grab some food? My treat!"

"You have pizza on your world?" Karai asked.

"You got sniper rifles in yours?" Yuki asked teasingly. "Yes, we got pizza."

The two went to a pizza place, eating inside the restaurant.

"So I'm thinking of asking about your family. You must have found family. After the pain of loss, you just have found someone precious to call family, no?" Yuki asked as he ate.

"My bio dad had adopted way before he died. My brothers…they're different." Karai said sheepishly.

"Psh, I can handle different." Yuki said confidently.

For what it was worth, he was able to handle meeting the mutant ninja turtles, Casey, and April. They were all watching television on the couch trading tales.

"Yeah, I'm the heir to the Chimimare fighting style." Yuki said. "It's all around using your aura to build on your body and mind to break human limits. My father invented the style using aspects of other fighting styles wanting to make an adaptable style that when people could add to it with a core aspect for combat."

"Wait, if your dad is dead, doesn't that make you the Grandmaster?" Rapheal asked as Leo gave his brother a dirty look for asking.

"It would, but there's two other people who know the style older than me. My father's old teammates, and they would have more right to have that title than me. I don't even want to take it until I feel I'm ready to take it." Yuki remarked. "I can fight, but I am no grandmaster…yet."

"You talk a lot, but I want to see you in action." Rapheal said twirling his sai.

Yuki got up and handed Karai his pistols in their holsters telling her to hold them while he fought him. Sadly, Donatello had some bad news of more Purple Dragons causing trouble. Yuki cocked his gun looking ready. Before long, they were out on the streets. The turtles, April, and Casey were in Shellraiser while Yuki and Karai were on Inferno racing through to find the Purple Dragons having hostages in the same pizza shop Karai and Yuki just visited. Inside, another mutant was among the hostages…the one who called for help.

Yuki parked the bike and got up cracking his knuckles.

"Chimimare Style: Impact Iota! Sinistram!" Yuki said before punching the air with his left fist to see a fist-shaped shockwave smack into one thug's face. "Dextra."

He punched another one out from his right blowing away several motorcycles he assumed was theirs. The turtles and the others sprang into action, and Yuki felt good to be fighting with a team which gave a chance to show off a few techniques.

"Chimimare: Rising Rhythm!" Yuki said rushing in dance-like spinning kicks before using with uppercut-like kick to send his victim into the air.

He used Glynda's semblance to freeze the victim into air before hurling him into the guy Casey was fighting. Yuki spotted what appearance to be the leader of the gang and give him a flying kick into the wall.

"Here's a wake-up call to give up." Yuki snarked as Hun got up. "Unless you want a pummeling."

"Arrogant for one who opens with a cheap sho-" Hun said as Yuki punched him in the throat with a speeding stretched out arm.

Yuki restricted his arm with a 'whack' as Hun hit the ground with Yuki using telekinesis to take Hun's sunglasses for himself. Leonardo walked over to the down Hun.

"You broke his neck." He said.

"I must have hit him too hard." Yuki said nonchalantly before walking up and healing Hun's broken neck. "There, fixed the bones but not the trauma."

"Is that a martial arts technique? Because I want to learn that." Casey asked.

"Sorry man, that's more superpower than martial arts technique." Yuki said walking up to Karai. "You good?"

"There were no real threat, just a nuisance. Perfect way to end the night, though." Karai said as the portal appeared. "And we're due back."

Yuki returned Inferno to its micro-cube form before pocketing it, taking Karai's hand, and leaving with her through it.

The two were transported back to the set of the show to roaring applause.

"Let's see your compatibility." Rick said as Morty displayed the results. "60."

"Maybe next time we're not beating thugs in the street." Karai said before leaving through the portal.

"And Round 2 is done, we're going on break to determine what we'll do for Round 3. We are returning to Remnant for dates, but the question is who? Give us your suggestions!" Morty said dramatically. "See you sometime, somewhere, everyone!"
